I just cycle for fitness but still want to keep the bike in good nick. Had been carrying out maintenance without a stand which was a real pain. Since using the stand I’ve found it much easier to do all the cleaning and maintenance that I need. Only issue I have is that the plastic caps, at the end of the clamp, need to be checked frequently as they are inclined to come off, sometimes when the bike is in the stand. Despite this I would recommend it.

This is a great, solid and robust stand that was very good value. However, I was very disappointed that the rubber straps which hold the handlebars in place perished within a year and only a couple of uses making them unusable.
Fortunately, Ultrasport offer a 2 year warranty and promptly agreed to send me replacement straps when I emailed them.

Great stand but poor quality straps

Good value for money, and for money is essential here.
It holds my bike ok eventhough the flat tube on top of my bikes body doesn’t fit perfectly to the holder.
But the holder itself might come off the stand bringing the bike with it, so you need to pay attention to that. Some additional work is needed to make it stay where it should.

It packs alright and is sturdy and stable.
The handle restrictor rubber parts did fail after a short time, but the restrictor itself could be fitted with the different ones.
The angle of rotation is good and the stability is not impacted while turning although the bike might slip a little.

I was able to wash the bike, to perform brake fluid change (bleed), to replace brake pads, to tune the gears, to degrease the chain, basically all the maintenance needed. But attention needs to e paid or the bike might fall with the handle (you really have to pay for the cheap price alas…)

The stand arrived damaged with the part of the bicycle holder cracked. I noticed after it was delivered that the packaging had suffered damage and was holed. The product still operates but would be helpful to have the bicycle holder replaced in case it fails in the future

I bought this for working on my Trek DS3. It supports the bike by the crossbar, and not the saddle, which is better for the bike, but does mean I can’t mount my folding bike on it, because the crossbar is so low, like on most folders. There is an adjustable strut that you can fasten to the handlebars to stop them moving about when you are working on the forks. Much better than standing the bike upside down, which I gather you’re not meant to do. It packs down easily and this was handy when I had a weekend away. The only way I could get the Trek in the car was to take the wheels out and take off the front mud guard and the pedals. The stand fitted easily in the boot next to the bike and having the stand with me made putting it all back together again so much easier.

I love this bike stand, I have been using it for a few months now. Super easy to assemble and hardly takes up any space. I use on it stone and grass surfaces and has no problem with staying stable. The tool tray is very helpful as well. At the start I sometimes forget that the legs are there and accidentally trip over them.

Overall amazing product and definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for my electric mountain bike roughly 23kgs in weight. I take my battery off before i lift on the stand makes it easier to mount. It has no problem with the weight of my bike if i need the battery on the bike for whatever reason i then fit it after the bike is mounted. Find the balance point then bob your uncle

This is a good stand for cleaning a bike and general maintenance. I would say that it only really suits a road race bike although I have put a hybrid road bike on which worked OK. Not sure I’d use it for a MB.
Overall I am very happy with it – and its very good value.

Seems stable enough having used once. I did need to modify as the top of the stand would not tighten sufficiently to prevent the bike spinning. Fortunately there was a hole in the metal upright so I have drilled a hole and inserted a screw through the plastic head to improve stability.
For the money I can’t really fault it but wonder if something with less adjustment might actually be more stable.

Very sturdy metal stand. I.E made of strong materials.
Nonetheless, not rock solid, but perfectly adequate for the job.

One problem – the rubber / silicone restraining straps on the ends of the telescopic arm for holding the handlebars are puny and fragile. Both broke in the first few time I used the stand. Function easily replicated using a hair band or strong elastic band or even string! But nonetheless an irritating quality fault.

Bought to allow me to fix the new bike my partner purchased from Halfords that they had setup completely incorrectly!

Wide spacing gives it a fairly stable base but would be better if bolted to the floor to be honest.

Rubber clamp is strong and the rubber protects the frame well. Found clamping on a bike that has cables on the crossbar is awkward but manageable.

    Overall would recommend.

Would have given this five stars but for one somewhat annoying niggle – the rubber straps supplied to secure the telescopic arm (used to secure the handlebars) are of inferior quality. One broke on first use and the other broke a couple of uses later. Finding something to replace them is much harder than you would think (nigh on impossible in fact) and you do really need to stop the handlebars from spinning when you are working on a bike. Tried to raise this issue with Ultrasport directly but no response as yet.

Really sturdy product. I read previous reviews which mentioned parts breaking however mine holds up well.

The only negatives I’d give is the price compared to a similar product offered by a discount retailer for 20/25. The other is that extra rod which is for the wheels/handlebar. There is nowhere to put this thing on the stand when not in use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe stand works ok for bikes with rounded frames. I have two bikes, one of my MTB’s has a wider frame and I cannot clamp it down. I also find it still rotates the arm no matter how much you tighten. These aren’t excessively heavy bikes. My biggest gripe is that the clamp squeezes the gear and brake cables running along the frame. Hard to replace or test these, and I bought it mainly for that purpose. If you have chain, pedal, brake pad or wheel repairs then this is perfect. In addition you can use the stand to wash your bike with ease. Overall I’m still pleased I bought it but with it had better support for wider frames and a way of not squeezing into the cables. Others might have better experiences based on their bikes.

My bike is heavy being an ebike but the stand is up to the job. The frame clamp held the very odd shaped top tube securely. The assembly was OK but not idiot proof as it misses out one very important step. The stand folds away nicely for storage.
Looking at other customers photos, the design has been changed. The clamp is different and whilst in use, it came away from the horizontal tube – so the bike fell off, fortunately damaging it or me. It’s only held on by a poorly positioned clamp bolt so I have now glued it on so that cannot happen again.

I was so tempted to write a bad review due to being messed around with delivery dates but have decided not to. Just be patient when ordering, it’ll tell you it’ll be with you within 3 days and then put it back by another 3-4 days. I ordered this one as the one at 35 was never in stock to be delivered.
So, the stand. Perfect for 50. Does exactly what is required of it. It is very easy to set up, very sturdy when a bike is on it and very easy to put away. The included shelf has a magnetic part to hold screws and bolts and the clamp does a good enough job on the frame of my mountain bike.

I bought this based on a lot of good reviews.
I have to say it appears to be well made and for 50, you cannot go wrong!!! The legs can be spread to give a stable platform for the stand.
I have only put my road bike on it, so not sure how it will perform with a mountain bike.
you don’t have to tighten clamps up to within an inch of their lives either so you should be able to get things set without crushing any delicate carbon tubes.
The instructions are rubbish, bit to be honest you don’t need them.
the bar that holds the handle bars straight is a good addition.

Looked around at a few and slightly cheaper ones but went for this. Really sturdy and a great work stand. Vertical extension pole is very easy to use. The clasps are probably the trade off against higher price. They are a little flimsy and plasticy. Top frame ‘grip’ missing any padding, so I’ve kept it loose and wrapped frame in a cloth when I put it in: Seems to work fine. Wife complains that I leave it ‘up’ with a frame in it and footprint is quite big, but I’m not going to put a half built frame on the garage floor just to pack it away ;). Overall, good purchase at a decent price point.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our Userswow!, what can I say. this is an excellent stand! Arrived in good time, and I was really suprised by how sturdy it was. having looked online at several others decided I would go for this one……so glad I did! The stand is telescopic and the 4 feet have adjustable plates to ensure level footing….nice touch. you are suppied with an allen key to tighten the upright, whereas other makes may use quick release mechanisms, which are easier…..but, and this is a BIG but!, this stand also includes a magnetic tool tray( 30 elsewhere!) AND a small telescopic arm to put between your seat post and handlebars to keep front wheel from moving if working on this( 19.99 elswhere!) The stand also adjusts from a very comfortable height to wash your bike and makes it super easy to clean gearset without all that bending down or kneeling!. It also adjusts to a really good height if you are working on the wheels. (this is where the bar extension comes in really handy!) the front wheel remains still and again, you are at a great position to work at. Even at this height the stand is rock solid. All this for 39.99 you pay 50 for the extras!! Well done to Ultrasport for producing an excellent stand. Go on, treat yourself, you know you deserve it!!

Ok, I’m going through a lot of bike builds at the moment so I might be giving this stand an unfair review, that said I’m still far from a retail outfit working on hundreds of bikes a year. Initial view on the quality of product has me smiling. Everything is professionally made, no rough edges or dodgy looking casting and it’s easily assembled in a couple of minutes. It doesn’t quite offer the secure 360 positioning of a bike that stands made by the likes of Park Tool offer, but then this stand is a fraction of the price. If you want to hold a bike securely in a single plane without causing interference to cables (if like me you still use cables) – then it’s a must have, just don’t expect a heavier bike to be securely position in a strange position while you attempt to extract a push-fit BB using an extraction tool.

I’m quite pleased with this stand. It works well, easy enough to use (though I haven’t used one before). Very stable, though the feet need to splay quite wide to achieve this, so it can be a little tricky if working in a confined space, as I do (garage). Plenty of adjustments, the bolts that lock the stand in various positions feel robust. If you are thinking about getting a stand, whichever you use, it is a good move. For the price, it makes it WAY easier to do work on your bike. Teaching my gears was a real pain in the past, either lifting the bike by the back while trying to spin the pedals, or inverting it, which doesn’t work right. A stand makes this process much easier and effective. It allowed me to really sort out some gear issues on my kid’s bike and on mine (to a degree–there is limit to how much I WANT to work on my bike!).

Arrived today, overall looky sturdy and pretty heavy, but i’m pretty sure one of the plastic parts will fail after a while,so for small repairs, changing chain or fine tuning the shifters/breaks or cleaning your bike is going to be easy and really helpful with this repair stand. My bike is a 29″er and weigths about 17kg and holds just fine,a little wobble is okay.
However if you try to change a bottom bracket or a chainring/crankarm i suggest you to do it while the bike is not on this stand, the whole red clamp that holds the bike frame is twisting a little bit (hence i gave 4 starts because this is part where the most load occurs when you try to loose a stuck on bolt on a bottom bracket or on a crank arm).
Last time i disassebled the bottom bracket for cleaning i had to use my whole weight to loose up the thread,so i’m definitely not going to try that on this stand.Overally i’m happy because it will be more comfortable to change some of the bike parts or adjust them (especially the shifters) than on the ground upside down 🙂

For the price this stand is far better than I expected, strong, sturdy and stable. The height and angle it holds the bike is adjustable, the plastic jawed clamp is secure and quick release and there is a handy tool tray which has a magnetic section for holding small metal parts. It saves all that bending down when working on your bike and it folds up neatly for storage. The only downside I can find is that the clamp is designed for tubular frames and tends to hold flatter square crossbars at an angle, to get around this simply clamp on the tubular saddle stem.

Brilliant . . . Good sturdy four leg base and with height adjustment to hold the bike taller if required and a Front Handlebar control rod !
Four feet stand can be laid wide or secured only partially open if required though I wouldn’t know why . . . As a result the Base Clamp seems a bit pointless, Each leg has a small flat foot for spread and more floor security !
Height is up or down adjustable by lifting the tube up and down and securing with the type same clamp !
The Bike is fitted into a large quick release clamp and holds my Giant oblong weird shaped top frame rail easily !
The Front Bar / Handlebar holder to keep the wheel straight I just loop over the Bars using the supplied strap on largest hole so it’s easy to put on and take off !
Best bit is the ability to twist the bike front up rear down or swap that when working on the other end . . . Not sure it’s ‘sposed to but works a treat so for anyone with a non bendy back it’s perfect !

This was purchased by my wife as a Christmas present. Once opened, any further thought of preparing Christmas dinner went out the window as I wanted to assemble my new gadget. I did notice the box was damaged but on assembly a part was missing, which meant I could not use it. I contacted the supplier (with photo’s), who came straight back with an apology stating that as soon as the Christmas break was over, they would dispatch a replacement. They were as good as their word with the new one arriving on the beginning of January. This is an excellent work stand, good value for money and superb customer service. As a post script my wife no longer sees me in the house and I can be found with one bike or another on this stand and just tinkering/making minor adjustments!!! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI recently ordered a small light weight stand to lift my bike wheel off the ground whilst cleaning my drive train but it was a total waste of money.
With so many work stands on offer i decided on this one and so glad i did.
Its very heavy duty and well made. The feet open nice and wide offering great stability and the supports don’t slip at all.
I have a few bikes, one being a steel electric assist bike which is exremely heavy but this stand copes well.
The instructions were pretty rubbish but for the most part its easy to work out. Just two peices to connect together.
The stand came with a wheel support bar to hold the front wheel steady but i still haven’t worked out how it fits and the work try has flimsy nut holder making it impossible to fit without bodging it with a scewdriver, hence only 4 stars.
The stand folds down very easily for stowing away.

Overall, very happy for the great price and would recomment to anyone.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’m actually quite embarrassed that I’ve been fiddling around with bikes for all these years and never bothered to get a bike stand.

Ordered this one, because it seemed cheap enough to not be upset if the 4 and 5 star reviews turned out to be tosh.

Actually the reviews are valid – and this thing has saved my back. Arrived next day, via Prime. Took about 3 minutes to put together. Was able to service my kids’ bikes in a quarter of the time (being able to spin and re-index gears without being bent double holding a bike up in the air).

Seriously, if you haven’t got a bike holder – get this. If you feel the need to go for Park Tools or something afterward, then at least you’ve convinced yourself that you need a bike stand. But this is just perfect for me.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI should have bought one of these years ago. I decided to oil my chain last night so I pulled this out of the shed, popped it up and put my bike on. Next thing you now I’ve completely cleaned my bike and it looks immaculate. This made it so much easier, no more having to prop the bike against the wall and move it around to clean it, no more having to lift the back up so I can pedal it. Something that used to take me about 30 minutes took me 15 minutes.

The stand folds up reasonably well so it can be put out of the way, it feels nice and sturdy when you unfold it, the base can be spread quite far so there is no risk of it falling over and the folding feet mean you can get it nice and level. The adjustable sections are easy to change and the tray is quite convenient for putting hubcaps and the like on. Only issue I had was with the handlebar holder, the rubber was a bit stiff so I struggled to stretch it around the seat post and fasten it into place but I think with a bit of heat and some stretching it should be much easier to use.

This was much cheaper than most of the other offerings I have found so it’s a bit of a bargain, definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to work on their bike at all.
