Great set but has its drawbacks

I’ve always bought wera screwdrivers, but these from wiha provide a definite alternative in terms of quality and value. Beautifully engineered and a joy to use. Will definitely consider other wiha tools in the future.
Wiha VDE tools are the best for electrotechnician.
First of all, you can’t buy this set any else for +/- 63,21. Because of the price I bought 2 sets. One for work (always in the car) and one for at home. The set is very good for electrical (use at work/ home)/ computers.
Buy what you want, see and need, so don’t complain…
VDE is for electrical job / computers, not for fixing you motorcycles, cars, mechanical…
Snapped
I didn’t tighten it hard and the flat bit snapped I put minimal force as for tightening cables they must not be overtightened so it was a shock there was a small snap which means I can’t use it for the sockets but otherwise it does the job like tha
Work
Handle feels a bit uncomfortable compare to wera screw drivers, also the bits I found fall out of the carrier case very easily, so be careful there. Other than that they work well
Great set, keep being disappointed as pouch does not has belt strap
This is second set from this line brand, first one still working fine, just lost some tips as the old pouch start to disintegrate after almost 3 years. Bought a new one as has new improved pouch and more tips for such good price. Perfect for my job, hotel maintenance, just need to carry this and can do the quick fix around the hotel. Only disappointment is from the pouch, don’t understand why they never put a belt strap on their pouches

I’m professional electrician from 9 years tried many brands, but stick with wiha from last 5 years. that’s explain something I think!

Not worth the price but not to bad,the case is terrible,should be totally emclosed,things fall out.
Handy for electrical work
The pouch contains most drivers used frequently. The additional stubby handle is also very handy in confined spaces.
Only down side is that the blades tend to fall out in the bottom of the tool bag I’ve nearly lost 2 so far. Would recommend this purchase
space saving
bought this set to go with my Wiha ratchet screwdriver set , saves carrying loads of drivers and get the quality of Wiha.
Careful when transporting
The set caters for just about every situation ,the only criticism is that the bits can easily fall out of the holder whilst you are carrying them round.

I’m in danger of becoming obsessed with Wiha Slim Vario stuff – it all works perfectly and is well designed and sturdy. I haven’t found anything it can’t tackle so far – plus VDE 1000v electric safe!
German Quality
Bit locking meshanism doesn’t handle dust and dirt too well, i am sure new model will appear soon, everything else already perfect. I am driving them bits with a screwgun, respecting the max torque and they last pretty long.

The roll has no means of preventing the driver bits from sliding out of their elasticated holders and getting lost. Apart from that, a decent quality tool and very useful.

Quality driver set,a pleasure to use & proper look the pa
Loving these so far,feel great in the hand. Can take all the bits I need up the ladder & change over as I need to without having to carry a bulk load of drivers. Really look quality,only possible gripe it the pouch seems a little loose/big & not close tightly so maybe loose a driver or 2 but just keep an eye on it its a small gripe.

Good quality. However, the downside is you have to watch that you put the attachments back in the case and they are secured correctly otherwise the attachments are prone to falling out of the case

Excellent product I only but the best and wiha are the bes
This is a good set for the money. Shop around and you can get slightly cheaper but not much maybe 5 cheaper I got it for 65. The only issue I have with this set is that Wiha do not appear sell a “complete” version like this but with the extra missing pieces.
It took me a while to see what other parts where available so the parts you may want to buy (inc numbers) are as follows:
6mm Allen key 37227
T25 hex 36071
6.5mm slotted 34582
I don’t believe there are anymore but these are the pieces I thought it should have included.
Again, shop around and you can get the last 3 pieces for under 20.
The carry case is also OK it maybe could have been improved by making it smaller by design and incorporate the space better for the missing 3 pieces but that’s just been picky.
