    This is a great scooter!

The wheels allow the scooter to be used on different terrains so makes it very smooth to move from one surface to another.
The deck on the scooter is wide enough for the child to stand on comfortably.
The handles are soft and comfortable to hold. Has ridges on them too so make gripping easy.
Very easy to break to a stop as the foot brake is big enough to use without looking.
Made very well and shows to be excellent quality.

    5/5

Company great to work with. The scooter is great for the kids on rough ground and smooth. Very happy with our scooter. Used it loads. A tip is to pump the tyres with quick release pump. Not a usual bike pump.

This is an excellent scooter really well made and sturdy – especially as I am a 12 stone adult!
Be aware it is a dirt scooter with wide pneumatic tyres which are hard work on pavements or roads (even with 100psi), due to the high rolling resistance, but great on dirt and gravel.
I bought some hard wheels to use on hard surfaces for commuting and riding with my kids which work fine, though I had to fettle some spacers and adapters from some tubing and washers as its drilled for 12mm axles not standard 10mm (which I also had to buy with the wheels). Works great now though and I can easily swap out for the pneumatic tyres if needs be.

This XOOTZ Decoy Dirt Scooter comes in a nicely presented box, making it very much giftable. It seems well made, feels very sturdy, every part appears to be of decent quality.

Assembly was pretty straightforward. The footboard has an excellent non-slip grip, the brake works very well, and it is easy to operate, feel very safe on it. The wheels are big, have an excellent grip, and make it easy to ride on rough ground and run smoothly.

As lovely as this is, my only recommendation would perhaps be kickstand attached, making it easy to park.

I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

I have to admit to feeling absolutely blown away by just how great this scooter is! I had fairly high expectations to start with but this scooter from Xootz actually managed to surpass every one.

It arrives in a simple yet neat and attractively packaged box and is further well packaged in bubble wrap and card inside. Literally everything is pre-built at the factory so there is nothing to worry about or do in terms of putting together other than a few minutes of your time to secure the handlebar to the deck. From the handle bars and stem through to the main deck and braking system, every single part of this scooter oozes quality and sturdiness.

It comes in a couple of different colours but we opted for silver. It’s been manufactured well using good quality materials and everything looks and feels incredibly sturdy and robust. It’s worth noting that this isn’t a younger child’s scooter that you can open and close by simply lifting a plastic collar or such like. This is designed to be a one piece unit that stays firmly locked in place once built. Bear that in mind when thinking about storage or transportation.

The main deck of this scooter is nice and fat unlike some cheap scooters and it has a good length and width to it too so your children, or you, have plenty of space for both their feet without fear of slipping off. It really does feel extra grippy in use and although I have yet to test it in heavy rain and mud, I can attest to the fact that it provides a reassuring grip in light rain and wetter conditions. The hand grips have a soft and textured rubber coating which helps grip when holding on and the handle bar height and positioning due to the design of the ‘Y’ shaped frame means this cooter feels highly comfortable in use. There is no height adjustment for you to expand its length so be aware of the age range it is designed to cover before ordering. This is definitely not for a younger children but aimed more at the youth generation. I would say anywhere from around ages 8 or so and upwards, dependant on your child’s height of course. Teenagers are probably the most likely target market here, but to be honest, I am an 47 year old man and measure 5’6″ in height and I can use this with no problem (aside from the embarrassment factor – lol!). It also has a maximum weight capacity of 100kg which is more than adequate for most.

The wheels on this thing are absolutely huge and really solid too. Being pneumatic they are more than suited for all terrains so you can really take this little beast anywhere. Rocks, sticks and uneven ground are all just swallowed up as you tear along on this thing. It’s immense fun and my 13 year old daughter loved it! There is also a really solid and reliable aluminium brake on the back of this scooter. It’s a bumper type brake pad which hovers neatly over the rear tyre. You, or your child, simply need to step on this to slow themselves down. Be warned though – it’s good at stopping you quickly. Now that’s a good thing but one to make sure you child is aware of on the first few goes or they will be flying off quickly. Luckily kids learn fast so my daughter soon got the hang of it and anticipated a quicker than expected stop once she had picked herself up of the floor the first time.

Overall I cannot fault this scooter. It’s really, really well thought out and put together. Everything is made using high quality materials and attention to detail for its intended usage and target audience have been made in abundance. It’s build is solid in every area and it genuinely feels like an expensive scooter, which it is, although this one was on offer at time or review with almost a third off making it much more affordable (69.89 at time of review). There is absolutely nothing to dislike and if I could I would genuinely give it six stars. A great product at a great price.

For a scooter that is not electric, this is quite weighty. It comes in two parts which you need to assemble using the hex keys that are supplied. It would be easier if there were indicators on both the stem and the base so that you can line them properly there is not one. Although you can dismantle the scooter there is no quick release for folding it up. Oddly the front tire needs to be inflated to 10 psi but the back comes already inflated.
The tires have a good grips though and a really nice on rough terrain and the back brake works ok on downhill travel. The front wheel can rotate 360 which is handy if you want to do some tricks.

Reasonable off road scooter but not easily collapsable

My kids had a lot of scooters growing up, usually 20 ish ones with hard wheels that we expected to replace before too long. This one is a big upgrade, wish we had started with one like this. Much nicer to ride with inflated tyres, surprisingly light and looks really smart.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy teenage son is into BMX, skateboards and scooters, so when this Xootz came up for review we jumped at the chance to see what it is like.

It comes in a plain solid cardboard box, and there are some requirements to put the scooter together, but we found it fairly straightforward (took just a few minutes). The main frustration was the pneumatic tyres required pumping up with a standard screw value. The issue was, neither of our two floor-stand pumps worked due to the size of the pump value and the position of the tyre value. We did manage to use a traditional handpump, but only just.

However, the scooter is absolutely brilliant. Very light, yet can take the weight of my son (and if I am honest I had a few goes on it too, and I weigh 12st or 77kgs). My son loved the pneumatic tyres as he could jump on and off the kerbs etc., and the tyres gave a cushioning effect.

At the time of review, the scooter costs 91.29 but has a discount bringing the price down to 69.89, which for the quality of design and manufacturing is worth it.

I gave this away to my friend’s kid and to be honest, was well surprised at the quality and overall build. My friend was rather pleased with it and said it was just as good as any he’s seen in the shops. After him buying some helmets and pads, pumping up the tyres, they’ve had a blast.
I think my friend was more kid-like than his kid.
Assembly was easy, all welding’s and mechanisms are top grade and the paint work looks rather spiffy. Reminds me of my BMX GT performer from long ago. Good times.

This scooter is exactly what we had been searching for. Our property is made mainly of gravel, soft sand and dirt. Normal scooter does not work on our yard. This scooter is awesome for our kids, myself to ride! Assembly was easy, just securing the handle part. This scooter is heavier than the non-all terrain scooters. Also, this does not fold, that’s fine for us. As it is solid, there is no worry on our part that the little ones will have an accident with a scooter folding in on itself. Should recommend checking on the tire pressure before use. It ride very well on the dirt and bit of weed area also. Very well made. The part where you put your foot on is pretty wide, helped me to balance. Overall we are very happy with this scooter.

Perfectly packed, the scooter arrived in excellent sales condition. It looks really cool!

Very nice, well painted, and sturdy. The pneumatic wheels move very smoothly. They were properly inflated on first use. Very comfortable even on bad roads.

After using it, I also recommend it on asphalt because it is much more comfortable than classic scooters. Even heavier than those and more “heavy-duty”.

Handlebar grips are very good. Me and my 5 years old are really enjoying it!

    Highly recommended.

Good quality scooter that is chunky and well-made, while still being fairly lightweight. Four stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is super cool.

First it was pretty simple to get together and after assembly of the steering column, putting air into the tyres and going over the skate park it was all systems go.

It is well made and with the grippy foot plate and larger than normal pneumatic tyres it was great fun racing over the concrete skateboard area and competing with one other skateboarder and someone else with a scooter (not as good as mine however).

Its rugged, makes the odd knock and the tyres make it comfortable to scoot.

Says from age 6+ but there’s no way my 6 year old would be big enough for this yet and he is of average height and weight, I just feel its cumbersome and heavier than most scooters aimed at his age. The foot section is big enough for an adults foot with a non slip coating and the frame is solid, it certainly feels robust.

Easy to put together and rides smoothly. The wheels are chunky and the break works well. Honestly can’t fault the scooter I absolutely reccomend but for the appropriate age i would say from age 10+.

The scooter arrived in a large branded top opening box with a carry handle, and on the sides of the box it has images of the scooter along with details and specifications. Once opened you have the scooter in two parts both very well protected with bubble wrap, plastic and card along with a plastic cap on the connection between the handle and main frame. You get the two allen keys in with the instruction manual which takes you through connecting the main frame, inflating the tyres along with safety, cleaning and usage.

Once I had unpacked everything and removed the protective coverings I connected the two parts following the instructions and inflated the tyres. The scooter is certainly very sturdy and all the finishing looks very good along with a good grip to the base and handle grips, and it certainly has a nice looking colour scheme to it.

My daughter (14) was really keen to try this out as she has been using scooters since she was very young and loves them. She took it outside straight away and ran round on it for around a hour, she found the brake system on the back wheel very effective, it can bump up kerbs without any issue along with running over bumpy ground well, and absorbing the bumps reducing the juddering on the handles, and it has a really impressive grip to the ground.

Overall this is a very well made sturdy scooter, the wheels take away a lot of the impact of bumps making for a smoother ride, the brake is very effective and the grip to the ground is great along with having a good foot grip on the scooter and rubber handles. My daughter has been using it every day since it arrived and really loves it. I can’t really find any faults or flaws with this scooter so have given top marks.

Well made sturdy all terrain scoote

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is very well-made, with a quite lightweight, yet very strong aluminium / alloy steel construction, with very strong welds etc. It was simple enough to assemble, just the handlebar / riser securing (4 x bolts tightening — hex keys included) to the main body.

The tyres are pneumatic, and good and chunky, BUT.. Oh my goodness, what an absolute load of grief inflating them. The reason is that there is so little space, and the valves do not come out of the side (as it were), but protrude straight down, and you can’t get onto it. I had to use a small screwdriver to lever the valves outward, balance, then try to screw on the pump adapter, which took several attempts on each wheel before managing. Once done, all good, and of course they should stay inflated.

The scooter is very ruffty tuffty, and my grandson loves it. It seems a bit odd describing it as a dirt scooter, but I guess you could think of it that way, and certainly compared to small solid wheel type. There is a simple brake of sorts, you put your heel down on the mudguard which pushes down onto the wheel.

Overall, an excellent very rugged and robust scooter, well-made, great quality, and actually decent value, but oh those tyre valves..! Recommended.

I hope this has been helpful.

    Excelle

The scooter looks good and is easy to assemble. Its ties are thick that you don’t have to worry about punctures because it’s thick enough.

It has an anti-slip on the pedal surface, which makes standing more smooth and safe. The pedals are spacious enough that standing on them will not feel crowded. The rear brake is also very sensitive, can brake anytime anywhere, an also be used as a fender, which is excellent.

The downside is that it can’t be adjusted in height of folded, and the biggest disappointment for me was the lack of a kick stand on the scooter, which makes it easy to tip over, which is why I took out a star.

This works just fine as a road scooter but really excels at rough ground having the big chunky pneumatic tires, it handles great and the build quality is very good, this will take some bashing, the deck is extra wide and also has good grip tape applied already, the rear brake is easy to apply and good in operation too, all in all, I cannot fault it so gets 5 stars from me.

I got this for my daughter who is almost 13, she feels she is a bit too old for her old scooter and it’s not cool. We needed something for my daughter to get around quickly as we live in quite a rural area. This scooter was perfect for her! She loves it so much! The scooter is more suitable for her age and looks super cool, her friends all love it too. The ride is so smooth with the rubber weeks and is actually pretty quick, which is perfect for school. Very easy to set up and looks fantastic. The quality is brilliant! Very happy with this

What a great scooter… arrived well packaged and on time. Was easy to setup and get going. Is very well made and perfect for kids and adults. Love the off road wheels.
I think this scooter will last us a while. Would totally recommend! Great product!

This Xootz Decoy dirt scooter comes well presented in it’s own large branded box which lends itself to gifting as it looks both impressive and inviting. The scooter itself is very cool and is straightforward to get up and running straight from the box. Added a little air to the all terrain pneumatic tyres and my son was ready to go..

It’s very well made and has a reassuringly solid yet agile and lightweight feel. I can tell you, it flies! The bearings are smooth and the tyres absorb what solid rubber tyres can’t which makes it much more fun and safer too. Perfect for tricks and jumps and it isn’t limited to flat terrain.

My son loves it, and I have to admit, I had a blast on it too! Highly recommended..

I got this dirt scooter for my daughter yes she’s only 4 but she will get bigger and this scooter looked so cool.
The board is wide and it feels like sandpaper ( good for grip) so don’t wear no shoes on this.
The wheels are off road tryes and look super cool.
The brakes are easy to use and it’s big and strong. The tyres are abit flat on arrival so if you are playing to use this straight away you need a bike style pump fit for a schrader/ type valve.
For now my partner is loving this dirt scooter and wearing it in until my daughter is big enough
Overall a really awesome scooter, totally worth the price!
    Aimed at 6 years plus

I ordered this for my son who loves to ride his scooter in our back garden but during the wetter months he can’t go on the grass. This scooter has larger chunky inflatable tyres which work much better on grass. He’s able to enjoy his scooter much easier at home now.

The scooter comes in 2 parts and is easy to assemble using the included allen keys. The tyres come un-inflated and need to be pumped up with a standard cycle tyre pump.

The rear brake on this scooter is large and easier to apply than on other scooters. It stops the user very well.

Good size for 12 year old and adults

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI ordered this scooter for my sons 10th birthday , I wanted something abit more sturdy , as my son is abit big for his age this scooter was perfect !! He absolutely loves it ! Looks good as well the bigger tyres help him balance better and better for stones paths !!

Nice chunky wheels, big sturdy frame and easy to put together, he has already been zooming down our local canal path which others small wheeled scooters simply would not handle. The tyres handle the rougher ground really well and he loves bombing through the little woods near our house. The bigger wheels make it easier to ride on uneven grounds. great for off road – main reason we bought it. Easy to use for tricks too.

Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn’t fold for storage or transportation which is slightly inconvenient. Product itself is well built and very sturdy, we use it on dirt roads and tarmac and it’s good on both.

This is a nice rugged scooter that with its chunkier tyres can go on the grass and cycle lanes in the park

Because its got a wide footplate its good for the learner and allows you extra space to balance. The back brake is also wide enough not to be missed when you slow down

We got the silver version and it does look pretty spiffy.
I was originally going to get a bike, but they are much more difficult to store when not in use and a scooter seems to be a good alternative.

So there will be lots of “scooting” around the local parks on this
