Comfortable
I bought this as a stall holder for craft fairs. I wanted a chair that I could rely on without it collapsing. This didn’t disappoint, the cool bag on the arm is a great size too
Comfortable and sturdy chai
This chair is way better than the cheap one from supermarket or outdoor store. It’s very comfortable and sturdy. Very good for watching kids’ fixtures. Good value for the paid price.
Took all 30 stone of me without budging, sighing or creaking. My sofa isn’t as robust. Relatively heavy but it would have to be as it is built like a tank. Also has a wide seat so I wasn’t squeezed into it, and I am 6’5″ and didn’t feel the frame digging into me like others so it may be a height thing. Very comfortable and I would recommend it.
Wowed
This chair is sturdy, and comfortable! Like I’m on heavy side but this feels like could hold two of me! Being previously disappointed in quality for the chairs I realised need to get something better! And behold – here it is!
Very nice chai
Comfortable and solid, very nice for outdoor use or just backyard. Can’t wait for the summe
Good value for money
It’s a good chair a bit of pain to get out as feet can’t reach ground when sitting back takes full weight no problem just little uncomfortable having to move so feet can touch ground I’m 5 10 it’s been years since this happened las
As all the other reviews seem to say the chair looks quite good and is quite comfortable. However as most reviewers say the framework does press a little into the back of the legs but is not really uncomfortable although it would be an improvement if this design fault could be improved. The chair is a little heavier than a normal chair but this is heavy duty so should be accepted, and as mine is carried only as far as the car boot no problem.A good buy at A good price.
Just the Job for heavier people.
I have a disabled daughter, she’s overweight, 330lb. I was frightened of her sitting on everyday garden chairs, in case they collapsed, I sourced this Chair online and it’s ideal. It holds weight of up to 400lb. We can’t get her out the garden now
Quality Produc
Bought these for using at my caravan. Very comfortable chair. Very sturdy & easy to use. Only negative is watch the price. 2 days before the items arrived (I bought 2), the price dropped by 17 each. Less than a month later they were nearly half price from what I payed. If I hadn’t been going on holiday the week after they arrived, I would have returned them & re-ordered.
Is a sturdy chair.
I ordered the chair as a big guy not sure if all the claims were true about it being able to support my weight well it does is rock solid wouldnt doubt it. I changed 2 things since getting it tho I put pipe lagging around the arm support arms your legs rest on them and can be uncomfortable over a long period of time the pipe lagging softens this I also brought a cushion to sit on as you do sink into the chair the cushion makes it easy to stand up for myself. Other than that its all good.
So comfortable!!!!!!!!
These are so comfortable! Very roomy (we actually fitted 1 adult & 1 child side by side in the one chair! They feel really sturdy. Would definitely recommend! Love the build in cool bag!
Bulky but sturdy and comfortable
The pictures don’t really do the sheer heft of this chair justice. Wouldn’t recommend if you intend to be carrying it any distance. It is very comfortable and stable though and the cooler pouch in the arm is a good size for keeping anything from lunch to small fishing tackle boxes
Would benefit from less material in the sea
I’m a big guy, 6ft, 20st+, this chair was very sturdy, the poles a very thick and strong, high wide back, so my poles digging into your shoulders. My one criticism of the chair is the actually height of the seat, my feet weren’t touching the ground sat fully in the chair, the seat of the chair dipped quite low, making getting off it a bit of a task. But apart from that, it’s a great chair, the cool bag can fit 4 pint cans easily with room for ice to keep you drinks cold.
Strong but not the most comfortable
Looks and feels super strong also very big and roomy. Seat does sag a little which puts pressure behind the knees maybe a cushion will help. Cover to cool bag is made too small, as soon as any pressure is put on the arm it puts tension on the velcro and it opens. I feel if these two minor points were addressed it would be a brilliant chai
Fab
Great chair for larger people. Really strong and well built. It’s not high backed unfortunately, I’m 5ft 6. I do find it a lil tricky getting out of the chair due to the part that runs under your knees being fairly high. A great buy and comfortable
Comfortable and sturdy
These are wider than normal folding chairs with reasonable padding and a thick frame. Great to sit in but bigger / heavier when folded. OK to carry a few hundred metres though. Check the folded dimensions before you buy.
Most comfortable camping chai
This is the most comfortable camping chair I’ve ever sat in. The deepness of the seat means the only pressure point is the front of the chair. Team this up with some type of flat pillow and you can sit in this chair all day.
Poor quality control
Many many straggles of loose stitching that needed to be snipped off before use, how did it get through quality control. The strap on the carrying case was stitched with a twist in the strap – again – who checked this?
Solid chai
Very sturdy chair but the cross members at the front of the chair can dig into your calves, I’ve added some padding and now its the perfect chair for a big lad like myself.
Loved the chair. Larger lady with rheumatoid arthritis so worried in case the chair didn’t support me. But needn’t have worried my weight was not a problem. Use a rise and recline chair at home so was also worried I could get up off it. Bit with the help of a cushion behind me (I’m only 5’2″) and using the metal bars to push down on, that hold the arm fabric out, I was able to get off the chair easily, brilliant, hate asking people to help.
Easily folds in one simple movement and then stands in the folded position on its feet unaided, this helps when putting it back in the bag.
Haven’t tried carrying it anywhere, but that’s because I have no strength in my wrists and hands, so I keep a folding crate /trolly in the car should I need to move it anywhere.
Bought for a log cabin trip in North Wales with my adult children but was worrying about getting off the furniture in the cabin, so this chair took away my worries. I can see it being really handy for when visiting friends and family, again because I struggle to get up from their furniture at times, now I can use my folding chair. Thank you
If you are looking for a smart, high-quality, heavy duty camping chair capable of supporting up to 200kg, look no further. This is what you need. It is indeed the Rolls Royce of folding chairs. The build quality is excellent in every respect. The seat is at an optimum height – not too low or too high. Your feet will be flat on the ground when seated, but you will not be “low-slung”. It is easy to get in and out of. I tried the Songmics heavy duty chair – SONGMICS Foldable Camping Chair, with High Backrest, with Glass Holder and Thermal Pocket, Comfortable, Durable Structure, Max. Load Capacity 150 kg, Outdoor Chair, Blue and Black GCB10UB https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MPYG5BP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_JP3D5J8CCXXFKCGVC61B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
but the seat of this was too high for my comfort (as others have remarked). This one is slightly lower – perfect. It’s worth spending the money on this, for a chair which will last you a lifetime. Unreservedly recommended.
Great product and feel confident and comfortable sitting in it. I have back problems so a wee bit on the heavy side to carry and the carry bag has the drawstring stitched into the seam so unable to tie it shut. Would appreciate if companies checked products before selling.
Lovely well sized, sturdy chairs. The only issues I have are:
1) It’s a little uncomfortable under the lower thighs where the plastic digs in somewhat so I recommend a cushion
2) It’s such a nice, deep chair that I look like a weeble when rocking to try and build up momentum to get out of it
Overall, if you need a heavy duty chair, buy one of these. And a cushion.
Very strong construction. Unfortunately I underestimated the HUGE size of this chair. When packed up it’s the size of a good 6 man tent and poles! I didn’t find the back support to be adequate since it’s curved at the back and I couldn’t sit upright. Your bottom drops down from your thighs which I’m not a fan of. However, it’s a very solid and well built chair but I’m not really sure why these chairs are so expensive. It still feels like a 20 chair, with a decent profit too. Then again, all these camping chairs are ridiculously expensive being 50-120 per chair. There must be a camping chair cartel operating keeping prices high because I can’t understand why even well built chairs like this, cost more than 30.
I always worry about having to sit on camping chairs and constantly having to perch on the edge of the frame and that feeling that as soon as being sat that I don’t move for love nor money (if you’re a big person sitting on a small camping chair you’ll know the feeling!!). Well with this chair I have no worries at all. It swamps me when I sit in it, and the fabric is so thick and sturdy it has become an essential chair. The connections between the fabric and the frame are robust. Yes, it’s quite expensive, but I promise you won’t regret it.
As a large bulky male ,I have had problems fitting into standard camping chairs in the past and when I saw one with much higher weight bearing capacity and larger dimensions, I sent for it. It arrived within two days ,was as new and when removed from the container folded out painlessly into ,what I would rate a luxury seat. It accomodated my bulk easily and felt solid and strong , so I was able to sit down normally in it and not have to ease myself down gently like I was sitting on eggs. It is early days yet but the frame is oversize ,so stronger , the materials used in the seat are well padded and comfortable with a very nice professional finish to the stitching etc. It looks like I have found my perfect camping chair and only time will tell about it’s endurance . Meantime ,I would highly recommend this to others in my size category wishing for a camping chair that can cope with their body mass and is comfortable.
I am very impressed with this chair however I am finding two points that are not designed well.
It is a good chair for the money so I do recommend it still.
My two points are:
The cooler pack on the left arm rest needs to have longer Velcro to actually stay sealed when you lean on it. The edge is too short and when your elbow leans on the rest it brings back that part and as a result create an opening still.
I also have a bank injury so I tend to lean to my left more in the chair and rest there. So it’s worse for me as my elbow also wants to just go on the section which will break the zips if I’m not careful.
Make the drink hold also out of heat insulated material for helping keeping your beverage cold. Others have already done this over the use of just mesh like on this one.
Second is I would like to see storage for the carrier bag in the head rest like some others do.
Just a zip and the top for open and close. Also adds support.
All in I highly recommend this chai
