Sturdy dipping ba
Easy to put together and very sturdy. It’s larger than I expected. I’d rather the bars were a little closer together as they feel quite wide, but I’m happy with the item.
Bigger than I though
I didn’t really take notice of the dimensions so quite surprised how big it is (not a bad thing though ) I can comfortably do dips , leg raises and knee raises I’m happy with this purchase , sturdy and good quality product, box did have a small tear in it upon delivery but the driver was happy to take it back if I wanted but there was no need considering it’s only metal gym equipment only took 10 mins to build you probably can strip it down for storage but this would be annoying but depending on what space you have it can be done if needed. I will be adding some black tape to the foam padding to protect it.
Good Quality
Took about 10 minutes to assemble and once it was it worked tremendously. Very sturdy when doing dips and rows on it and the 4 pads at the bottom prevent the metal from scratching your floor. Would recommend.
Sturdy dip ba
Easy to put together. Used for dips, bodyweight rows, push ups and it feels stable. The foam around the handles compresses pretty quickly which is slightly uncomfortable when doing dips but this is a minor gripe.
Nearly but it just works
Ok @Amazon first thing, supply with a fold away twist lock instead of nuts and bolts, which by the way everyone you could source yourself, secondly, those square blocks really really hurt you get if your bare for and step down on the edges, or if you were to slip they’d really kill whatever land on them, if replace them with some sort of rubber that wouldn’t mark the floor, like a thick rubber wrap, if anyone’s got any ideas on that please share in a q&a for ease of finding.
Reasons for above:
1. This is ideal for travel workouts, gold it away and Chuck it in the boot, won’t take much space once folded flat (without those stupid blocks), along with a good pair of hex dumbbells, but also if space is a premium at home you want to be able to quickly pack it away and get it out.
2. No stupid blocks that could cause nasty injury or just bleeding hu
Great piece of ki
Had my home gym for a few years. Just purchased this as a new addition to my set up. I’m really pleased with this I bought it being sceptical seeing as it’s called Amazon basics and its less than 50. But this is a really good piece of equipment. Strong and sturdy. I love it.
Nothing basic about this dip stand!
There is nothing basic about this dip stand at all. A very thick and sturdy frame with nice thick padded dip handles. It’s perfect, almost.
I would have preferred if it was very slightly smaller, or easily folding, but it’s great.
It takes about around a square meter or just under when setup, so bear this in mind. It does allow you to perform dips close to a wall where the usual 2x single stands don’t.
An absolute bargain.

Bought these as I was unable to make the gym for a 6 week period. Very easy to put together, very strong design and really stable when in use.
Can do dips, knee and leg raises, pull up variations and push up variations.

Happy with this dip stand. It’s very sturdy when built and easy to put together.
It’s quite big, so you need about a square metre of storage/user space . It only has 4 bolts holding it together but would be a pain if you’re thinking of breaking it down after every use… don’t.
I knocked off 1 star due lack of adjustment for arm spacing, space it takes up and having to shim one of the feet (with a piece of felt) due to tiny wobble after tightening the bolts. But Rock solid in use.
At my height of 5’9” (male) its just right for me.

Solid produc
Came fast. Packaged well. Very simple to install. One bolt didn’t fully line up without some wiggling about but once in was no issue. It’s very weighty and solid. Love the product. Very good value for money
Quality with one problem
Very easy to assemble and made with good quality and definitely worth the price.. Only downside is if you’re 6ft2 and above and like to add weight using a dip belt its not very high and chances are tge weight will hit the ground

I like the sturdiness of this equipment and I can feel it when I apply weight. I weigh 84kg and I did a weighted dip for a total of 160kg approximately without any issues. I was very impressed. Another good feature is the height, which easily allows full depth on each dip with or without weight. My only slight quibble is that sometimes I have to twist the frame a little to get it to sit evenly, but it really is minor. Other than that, it’s a great piece of equipment for your home gym!
A really good piece of equipme
Really wasn’t sure what to expect from this but was very surprised at the quality of it.
Very easy to make and is very sturdy and has been a great addition to my workout.
The only thing is it’s Bulkier and bigger than I thought. Make sure when you build it it’s in the room you want it as it might not fit through your door frame.

Use it mainly for dips and weighted dips. Very sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble although the instructions themselves are pretty useless its quite self-explanatory from looking at how it should look how it goes. I used a different screwdriver to the tools provided as it was more efficient way of assembling.
Knocked a star off because you have to assemble it where you want it. I made the mistake of assembling it somewhere else and its too big to fit through any doorframes. Pain in the bum to have to take apart and start again!
Unexpectedly Excellent - I thoroughly recommend this Fitness Bar.
I bought this with the expectation that at this amazingly low price it would be less than spectacular in its form, fit and finish. Oh WOW! How wrong I was. This is made of sturdy and fairly thick mild steel tubing and the weight is surprising. It is HEAVYWEIGHT in all respects.
Really easy to put together and not at all flimsy. It doesn’t wobble or bounce around when mounted and the 4 padded feet get a good grip onto smooth surfaces. It does exactly as I expected…but BETTER.

Great value for money
With home equipment prices from other sellers shooting up massively during the covid pandemic, I was lucky enough to order this dip station while it was available at a reasonable price. It is very easy to put together, and extremely solid and sturdy during use.
Decent piece of equipme
Very sturdy, larger than you think it’s going to be but still great. Definitely would say to wear workout gloves while using it as it can get painful on your hands after a while. Can’t complain, just a good piece of equipment for workouts.
A great buy
Used this over lockdown when gyms were closed in combination with a weight belt so I could do weighted dips and rows. This helped me maintain a lot of strength so when I got back in the gym I found I had kept a lot of my gains. This is so quick and easy to assemble and disassemble when you get the hang of it (60 secs). Perfect for if you want to or have to train at home.
Good dip bar but needs better quality control
Very simple and straight forward to assemble and it seems to take my weight with not problem, I weight 13st. Only complaint is, there was a spiky piece of metal on the leg part of the dip bar which scratched me and caused a small bleeding wound on my finger so better quality control needed otherwise it’s a decent purchase.
Good quality and strong
Best price iv seen for something like this during covid times. Feels sturdy and the bars are a good height from the ground. I’d be happy adding additional weight.
Initial assembly was easy but it’s too big to keep assembled in my flat meaning that I need to take it apart after every use otherwise I’ll be in trouble. Overall very happy with it.
Sturdy but cumbersome
I was expecting this to be difficult to assemble due to amount of reviews that say as much but it was incredibly simple and only took maybe 15 minutes of my time.
The product works as it should and is perfectly sturdy.
My only issue is how cumbersome the product is. It takes up a lot of space and it’s difficult to move through door frames or narrow hallways.
Super Simple Dip Bars
Very simple and useful piece of equipment, I have my own gym, its small but enough room for me and 1 other. You can really improve your pull ups and dips with this simple piece of equipment, its strong and sturdy, and east to move about. It has definitely helped me and my clients to improve my all round fitness and strength. With imagination you can utilise this piece for much more that pull ups or dips. Would recommend to anyone, delivered on time and well boxed.

Came on time, very sturdy and so easy to put together, don’t make my mistake of putting it together in the kitchen only to find it was to wide to take it upstairs derrrrr. All in all really good, well pleased.

Really good product. Assembly was easy but one of the hole did not line up properly so was a struggle to get the bolt in. Other then that it was a good buy

Arrived two days early , well packed , no damage at all cosmetic or otherwise, put it together in no time . Full planche,tuck planche, pull ups , push ups… it’s all possible with this sturdy well built frame. Throw your TV away and buy one .

Before I got it I didn’t know some things. I can now confirm that it is great quality, and is astoundingly cheap for what it is.
You *can* do this list of exercises on it: tuck planche push-ups, rows, incline and decline push-ups, dips, leg raises, l-sit, back and front lever, explosive exercises, resistance band assisted exercises
You *cannot* do this list of exercises on it: pull-ups, most 1 handed exercises, anything that you cannot normally do

Fantastic value for money!
I grabbed one of these at the start of lockdown 2 in the UK and I’ve been really impressed. It only took 10 minutes to set up and it’s extremely sturdy, with little to no movement at all when it’s being used.
Really impressive considering this is just an Amazon basics product, for the price you really can’t go wrong with this!
Solid frame, great value for money, a few sharp corners
Overall, these dip bars were an excellent purchase. Though the paint is easily scratched, the metal frame is sturdy and easily compensates for this.
My only minor problem are the plastic corners for the base of the frame – they are rather sharp, so one has to be mindful of them when using this frame, or when moving it around the house. If not for these, this frame would be five stars from me. I am yet to scratch myself on them, but one must be careful if walking around or in close proximity to them.
That being said, the frame is easily assembled and disassembled (even if some of the screws for the base are rather small).
Overall these bars are solid, the foam grips are comfortable, and the base has excellent rubber pads that ensure the frame will not slide or mark the floor.
Well constructed frame
Good sturdy frame; made of good grade material. A bit on the wide side, could have been more compact. I haven’t stuck the blocky feet on as its being used on carpet until My wife Asks me to stick it in the garage.

Received product with expectation of some challenges putting together. This was not the case, item arrived perfectly packed, simple to assemble and very very sturdy. Width is perfect and so it height, i’m 6′ 3″. This is a great addition to my home gym.
This is just fine. Mine had none of the problems mentioned by others. Assembled very easily. Instructions are minimal, but not hard to work out.
Tips:
* The bolts have a square shape below the dome. This needs to fit into a square hole in the frame. To do this you must feed the bolt into the *larger* round hole on one side of the frame. This results in the bolt head looking very tidy – recessed, and flush. Also stops it spinning!
* Don’t overtighten anything. You really don’t need to. Other reviews say they’ve damaged the screw threads in the feet. Don’t risk this by overtightening. Just tighten the screws enough that they experience enough friction that they won’t fall out. The feet will stay in place.
* The two tools provided are more than adequate. If you find yourself reaching for a “real” screwdriver or spanner, you’re probably over thinking this and are likely to do damage.
* The bolts are not fully load bearing. You could possibly slot the four pieces together and use it without bolts, for convenience and speed. However, the bolts DO stop the tubes spinning relative to each other, so do add stability worth having. I recommend putting the bolts in and doing the nuts up hand tight if you’re assembling it each time. This will be perfectly adequate.
* Maybe put some pieces of cloth or cardboard under the feet if you have flooring that might be damaged?
Great price and quality
Have been looking to get a dipping station for a while now but they were all sold out during lockdown. So left it until they were starting to come back in stock. Happy with the Amazon Basics dip station as it’s well made and easy to put together, does not have a massive foot print so fits the spot in the garage perfectly. Looks better than most of the dip stations of this type on youtube.
Once put together, it’s really sturdy, and provides ample height for a deep dip, and also good for inverse row. But putting it together is a different story… Not because it’s difficult, but because the quality of the fixings are terrible. One bolt completely sheered, and the screws which connect the pads at the bottom kept popping through the drilled holes, to the point where you can only screw the two sides together about 80% otherwise they come apart. Also, on the pads, the actual female screw hole kept popping out of its plastic base.
Such a shame, as it lets down the otherwise perfect product. If you have ample spare nuts and bolts, get it, but if not, don’t bother, or only hand tighten the fixings, at a risk to your own safety.
FYI, if you do shear a bolt, you need an M6 x 40 bolt and an M10 nut to replace it (UK).
Thought I would try this on as the reviews were good, and identical one is 125, and amazon Basics knocked it out of the park, surprised when the package arrived as it was so big, and nice heavy solid tubing. It’s bigger than I imagined, as I imagined a thicker looking clothes horse basically, so I don’t put the screws in so I can dismantle it after, (the tops slot into the stands) if you put a bit of Insulation tape around the top bars where you slot in it makes it even more steady and easy to just lift out and pack away. even without the screws is more steady than the dips on my weights rack, didn’t put the feet blocks on either, just rubber tape around the floor bars, so packable AND no pointy blocks at the bottom.
Outstanding value for money . This is better than most that are twice the price .
*Very sturdy ( I’m 6ft 1 and 110 kg and I do dips on these without it moving abit).
Very tall ( I found it’s taller than most other paralettes which is perfect if your tall. I can do leg raises on these perfectly).
Simple to assemble. The fact it is made with as few parts as possible means it’s very sturdy and easy to put together. Took me about 10 mins . You get all the tools with it .
Lastly it has large foam handles wrapped around the steel . These really helped . I wrapped mine again in masking tape for extra longevity .
Some say it it too big to move but what I did is wrapped masking tape around the bolts and put a cover on it and leave it outside .

Great dip bar station, well padded, strong, easy to put together. 4 stars as the plastic square feet though study, have ridiculously sharp corners, I may file these down for safety which may slightly ruin the cosmetics if i butcher it… would have been 5 stars if these were rounded off – for home gym users not wearing trainers, could be a hazard/risk…
