I am using this inside currently but will wheel it out in summer.

Easy to lift, manoeuvre and put together. Feels sturdy and looks more expensive than it was.

Looks and feels like it will last year after year.

I’ve had many complements asking where it was from 🙂

    Delivered quickly

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPlease plan to come disassembled in 12 different pieces along with the necessary screws and bolts to assemble. It doesn’t come with tools to put it together however all you need is a screwdriver. The provided instructions are okay, although they could be a bit more clear in labelling what is what, it took me around 20 minutes on my own to assemble, and once I’ve got my head around the instructions, it was fairly straightforward. My only comments would be that the wheels are screwed on tightly barely move so it is not easy to manoeuvre the planter this is not a problem as we will be leaving it in one place. There is a small hole in the planter for drainage and a shelf underneath for displaying more plants. At time of review this is priced at 59.99 and I think this is a fair price, although I wouldn’t be wanting to pay much more.

A nice sized planter that feels sturdy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis went together well and is actually quite sturdy without being too heavy. This means it can be moved about as you wish so you can capture those fleeting bits of sunlight or hide it from the frost.
We keep herbs in ours and there is plenty of space for many herbs and as a bonus we can keep tools n things on the lower shelf.very happy. We will see how it lasts through more wet weather but so far so good.

This item is perfect for gardening lover who cannot bend.
I lile this planter box because it has drainage hole and line to prevent waterlogging.

I’m so happy with this Umi Raised Planter. It was so easy to assemble and the galvanized steel with anti-rusty grey coating is extremely durable and of great quality.

The product dimensions are perfect for my patio, and the capacity of 2.5 cubic feet of soil is more than enough for my garden.

What I love most about this product is the drainage hole in the middle of the cart which makes it easier for me to water my plants and help with drainage.

This product is definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality raised garden bed.

This raised garden was the perfect size to use on my deck. I don’t have the space in my yard to plant vegetables, so this was a great option. It was pretty easy to put together and no tools needed was an added bonus! Being on a raised stand makes it easier to plant and care for the garden. It even has a rack underneath to keep things on or for smaller plants in pots. It looks great on my deck and my vegetables are starting to grow. Will be nice to have fresh vegetables over the summer. I really like this product and may even go back and buy another!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis Amazon brand raised planter with wheels and shelf underneath is perfect for any garden enthusiast especially for those who may not be able to bend down so easily. It has a handle at one end, and wheels at the other so makes it perfect for moving about instead of trying to lift something heavy. Perfect for if your garden gets the sun at certain times of the day. The shelf underneath is great for storing other pots as it’s up off the ground. Although the top part has drainage holes, which is great when planting stuff, so your items don’t get waterlogged, so you’d have to be mindful of what you place on the bottom shelf when watering the top part.

The item itself comes flat packed and comes with good comprehensive instructions. It took me about 20 mins to put together myself and was easy to do by myself with no problems at all. With two people it would take much less time. The holes where the screw bolts go through were very bent, as I’ve tried to show in the photos. It didn’t hinder the building of the item, but for the price I should at least expect it to not be bent, hence why the 4 stars instead of the 5. Other than that the item is a very sturdy structure, and feels like it should last for a long time.

Perfect raised planter for those gardeners who can’t bend down easily

This planter requires assembly but is very simple andnstrait forward all the parts are included to assemble it you just need a cross head screwdriver. This only took me around twenty minutes to build on my own the instructions were very clear to follow.
The planter is made of metal and feels very strong and really good quality I like thebadded addition of the storage shelf on the bottom to keep watering can, plant pots, plant food etc….
The planter was very light to move around when it’s empty, obviously once you fill it with soil it becomes so much heavier luckily the handle is really strong to help move it easier by.
The wheels spin smoothly and obviously make it easier to move around when full.
It does have a drainage hole in the bottom also so it won’t get waterlogged in the bad weather.

Looks good in the garden and handy been the height it is, if you suffer with a bad back but love gardening this could be an option so you don’t have to bend down to plant.

This planter is fabulous. A great height to work from if you have mobility issues. With a handy shelf to store pots etc on. With the 2 wheels on one end this help move the planter around with very little effort. A convienient drain hole removes excess water to save over watering. It takes about 45 minutes to put together with the supplied tools.

Really excellent quality planter box, I can’t wait to get it planted up with (probably) herbs and similar stuff (maybe even lettuce, we’ll see!) in the Spring.

It was easy to put together, but definitely easier with two of you – one of you takes the weight/holds bits steady, which the other one does up the bolts etc! Once assembled it doesn’t feel wobbly, just nice and sturdy and was easy to push around – though I think it’s going to be very heavy once filled with soil. I will probably just decide on a location for it and keep it there though!

I will be interested to see if it rusts at all over the winter, it does say it has an anti-rust coating, so hopefully it’ll be ok. Price-wise, this is a large item for the garden and I think it’s a reasonable price, perhaps slightly more than I’d want to spend but planters are often expensive!

Love it - can’t wait for Spring now!

This planter comes well packaged and was very easy to put together with very clear to follow instructions.
When i finished building it i was pleasantly surprised with the overall size…. larger than i had expected.

Its a quality metal build and looks like it should last many years out in the back garden.
Once its filled with soil it does get quite heavy but nothing the wheels cant handle (much easier than having to lift it about)

It also has a low level shelf for tools or extra pots etc.
    Very pleased with this.

As a keen gardener, my Mum, who struggles to bend down now, has been hinting that she’d like one of these but we’d been looking at the wood ones.

Currently retailing at 65.97, this seems like good value — it’s much lower in cost (but the same size) and doesn’t require the same upkeep that wood would have needed.

It’s quite heavy and although simple to put together, due to poor joints and the size, I do need some help putting this together.

We liked the addition of a handle and wheels so that it could be moved around the garden like a wheelbarrow. Only 2 small negative aspects for me — for a direct planter, I felt there wasn’t enough for drainage and the shelf is a bit flimsy like on greenhouse shelving.

It took me about 30-45 min to assemble however it was not an easy assembly as all parts are a bit flimsy which changes once put all together and becomes a bit more sturdy.

Unfortunately, I overestimated the bottom shelf brackets and one snapped like it was glued with silicone which is a shame, the whole product once assembled looks fine and big enough to plant a variety of plants.

    Final product looks nice

Took me about an hour to put together and it was easy enough to do so. I am planning on using it as a little veg planter in the spring in my back garden so I have not started using it yet.

I have to say, though, that it really is a lovely looking piece. I love the fact that it’s got little wheels so that you can move it around without having to rely on someone helping you lift it (it’s a sturdy piece and once it’s filled with soil and plants, it’ll be much heavier) whenever you want/need to move it and I also like the shelf on the bottom of it.

Really looking forward to putting it to use!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis raised planter is self assembly, all the required parts are included to assemble but you will need a Phillips screwdriver to tighten once assembled. This took me a good 30 minutes to assemble, it was easy enough for one person and the instructions were clear enough once you’ve got your head around the idea.

The quality is excellent except for the shelf which has a loose metal bar I’ve shown this in my photographs. Aside from that it’s great, I don’t think that will hinder the use at all but it’s important to mention as it does reflect on quality control.

The wheels work smoothly and it is easy to move even when fully loaded with soil. I’ve just planted garlic for over the winter and this was a great size for that. The height is comfortable and I didn’t have to stoop, so much kinder on the joints!

Price wise I think this is reasonable, as soon as you mention “planter” prices seem to double! But with this I think you’re getting value for money with a robust, functional metal planter for all year round use. I would purchase again and am happy to recommend to others.

Easy to move and a great height to work at 🌱

This solidly constructed planter comes flat-packed and ready to assemble. This can be achieved in less than an hour if working on your own, and is a straightforward process.

Once you’ve put it together you’re aware that it’s a substantial thing, and while grey, doesn’t seem depressingly drab when placed among the greenery of a typical garden – if you have one.

Offering good drainage, it’s ideal for those, like me, whose actual ‘garden’ consists of a concrete back yard, with limited scope for growing produce.

There’s a storage area below the planter itself which can be used to house tools etc, or provide space for more plants.

Overall, it would make a good, additional growing area for any garden or backyard, and being wheeled it can be manoeuvred into position with ease.

This was easy to put together, I would recommend putting the bolts on enough to hold the bits together, then tightening them up when everything is in place- just makes it easier to get everything straight and square.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
The planter is a decent size and feels sturdy, the shelf underneath is ideal for mini propagators spare pots etc.
As we have this on a balcony and space is a premium, this is really handy.

Initially I thought the price was a little steep, but after putting it together I do think it is worth the money, as it is a quality item.

Useful for planting for young kids to use as their own planter, or for people who want to use it indoors as a planter too, but great for using as directed outdoors and has a drainage hole in the bottom centre, so watch you don’t put anything directly under the hole that you don’t want to i.e. your wellies then filling with water lol…

Needs assembly tools, (not included) and it is very easy to assemble, using the nuts and bolts in the pack, just need a small spanner and driver to tighten them all up.

This arrived in quite a heavy box (weighing roughly 20 pounds). Assembly was a doddle – the instructions are easy to follow and the whole thing took about half an hour to put together and get set up in it’s new home.
It is our intention to use the planter for herbs as our herb garden is taking over part of the garden (specifically the mint) so we added the compost and then replanted the herbs and the whole thing looks brilliant.

This galvanised steel planter box is pretty straightforward to assemble and took two of us less than half an hour to put together.

It’s certainly very solidly built and, thanks to the two wheels at one end and handle at the other, very easy to move around.

There’s a hole in the middle of the box for drainage, and the box is deep enough for you to grow root vegetables in if you wished. Saying that, it would be lovely planted up with flowers in the summer.

All in all a very sturdy planter box that should look great in the garden or conservatory for years. I definitely recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very sturdy planter box that would look great in the garden or conservatory

The written and illustrated instructions provide plenty of information to build the raised planter with ease. Only requiring either an extra pair of hands or something to stop the wheels moving when adding the first side panel. Every other part is done with relative ease, with the frame being sturdy and the full build took me around 30 minutes.

Once built, the wheels can be tightened enough so there’s no side wobble, the weight of the shelf itself underneath keeps it slotted in place and the handle is rigid too.

The bottom panel slants into the centre with a drainage hole, with the side and bottom panels connecting together to minimise loss of soil around the edges, but you do have to be quite precise when securing the bolts so not to leave a gap to the side of each.

5.0 out of 5 stars Built with ease, sturdy frame

I found this relatively easy to put together mainly due to this being of very good quality I do like the way this has been designed so water can easily drain away because of a drainage lines and large hole in the middle I have added a video to show the water draining away through the hole. I am very pleased with this raised planter it looks good and it’s easy to move around and because of its very good quality I have no hesitation in recommending this to others

Its very good quality and it looks grea
