Only been using it a week, but it’s a great monitor, comes with the necessary cables, I don’t see any pixel issues, the image is stable and colour representation is even, and it looks good. Attached it to a VESA desktop stand with no issues.

Bought at 255, so at that price it exceeded my expectations. Wish I’d bought another.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBeing a gamer and testing out different monitors in the past this one is very good value for money. The height can be adjusted and there are a lot of settings you can personalise this monitor very easily and very quickly. I’ve been using it for about 3 months and so far so good. Highly recommend i

first off i ordered this and the picture was so dull and washed and even if i adjust all the settings it seemed to get worst so had it replaced and this one i can adjust the settings to make it better but the one downfall for me is the screen type as the viewing angle is zero. So if your close to the screen the sides of it have a slight dark shading on a white background so you have to be sat back from it to stop this.

Been using this for only a short while but so far I am happy with the picture quality and wide aspect ratio. I won’t be using this for gaming but for a two windows open a one time. I will update later o

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe AOC AGON CU34G3S ultrawide monitor is pretty good and very easy to set up. The picture quality is amazing and looks beautiful. The left, right and top bezels are really thin and the bottom while larger than the others still fits well with the design. Once you get used to the menu buttons the OSD is easy to use, and you can also set up the monitor display options from the AOC software.

Theirs a little blacklight bleeding in the left corners but it’s not too bad, if it gets worst I’ll amend this review. Also, there is ghosting with white text on a black background, it’s not a deal breaker but my older monitor never had this issue.

The only real downside is the built-in speakers, they are just awful. For 422.97 they could have added a better quility of speaker or not have them at all for all the use you get out of them.

Being able to purchase with amazon 5 monthly payments is a godsend.

Love the stand, display colours, refresh, & suite of ports. Windows default gamma is way too high, and makes deep black look blocky, and will need turning down. Gamma on other devices wasn’t an issue The builtvin speakers are very tinny, with very little middle and no bass. It’s a great display, but you’ll want to add a soundbar if you’re not the only one and are happy with headphones

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this to complement my WFH arrangements as I’m also using my current LG 29″ widescreen IPS beside it so effectively have two screens side-by-side. This really works great with the AOC as it’s curved and can be placed to one side and has additional flexibility as the stand provides multiple tilt/slide capabilities for the optimal view (lift up/down, tilt up/down and also swing left/right).

PIP works but I didn’t like it tbh and would rather use separate monitors when connecting multiple machines.

Gaming wise my venerable alienware laptop is now showing its age at 5 years old and that’s my next purchase in the near future as I couldn’t test it out using 165hz but works fine at 100hz (though you need to make sure to download the driver from the AOC website to ensure the display driver works at that refresh rate).

Screen itself is brilliant. No dead pixels and I love the huge curved screen and super wide capability when using multiple windows and remote sessions/screens, etc.

The only annoyance are the menu buttons. They are fiddly for the OSD settings and infuriating as the power button is right next to them so you always end up hitting it (would have been nice to have them placed further apart or at least some kind of mini led status light possibly).

The only other negative are that the Speakers are not very loud as the bass is very light though not a show stopper for me.

Amazon also allowed me to purchase this using 0% finance over 5 months which was a no brainer and thank you amazon for providing this facility.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBought for Sim Racing and it is amazing for it. Came with a Color Calibration & luminance data sheet telling me this monitors actual performance, so i know it has been individually tested.

Picture is amazing, However when the screen is on, yet not showing anything there is some leaking of the light in patches on the screen. However this is never actually noticable when in game. Its only when it is completely blank.

G sync does work, although not offically. I have turned it on and had no issues.

One minor point to mention is that the marketing materal mentions that there is very little bevel on the 3 edges except the bottom. This is true, but does not mean the screen goes right up to those edges. Yes the gap would probably be smaller than if it wasnt slim, but it might be wider than you would expect by looking at what appears to be the screen.

I am running mine as a 2nd screen on a GTX1080Ti and most of the time hitting the 165Hz/fps cap.

EDIT: I am having occasional screen going completely black for a couple of seconds before returning. I think the issue is the cable that came with the monitor not being able to cope with the amount of data sent over the cable when running 165hz and G-sync. I turned it down to 144Hz without G-sync and it seemed to have disappeared. However I have just had 1 more black screen happen.
I think it is not the graphics card, as the 2nd monitor did not blackout.

I will have to buy a better cable to see if that fixes it. If it does not then it could be something wrong with the monitor i guess. I will buy a better cable and see if the problem persists.

UPDATE: The problem with the screen blacking out as mentioned above has been fixed with a proper VESA certified cable that was capable of sustainging the data transfer rate required for 3440×1440@165Hz. So buy yourself a decent cable if you have issues.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI will start by addressing the elephant in the room: is a 32 inch screen too big for 1920×1080 (1080p)? The short answer is not really. Unless the screen is close to your face you won’t see individual pixels on this display, Windows fonts are antialiased anyway and so are pretty much all games. At the distance most people sit there is no problem; the screen is crisp, sharp and bright.

This monitor is aimed at gamers who can’t justify an ultra expensive graphics card to push 1440p or 4K pixels, but still want a really big nice screen to enjoy their games on. Or gamers who want to enjoy 165Hz silky smoothness and response times without breaking the bank.
The panel tech is VA, the one I received had zero dead pixels which is the norm these days. It is bright, clear, sharp, colors really pop (especially black) and I love it! Supporting Freesync Premium, GSync and 165Hz is very nice – there’s even options to “overclock” the panel to further improve response times.
The curved screen took me a couple of days to get used to, but now I would find it hard to go back to a flat one. It just wraps around your field of vision so nicely, and really has that “wow” factor everyone wants from a new screen. The main disadvantage of a curved VA screen is viewing angles are not as good as a flat IPS would be. It’s certainly not bad, but these are monitors not TV’s and optimal results are achieved with 1 person sitting directly in front.

Adjustment: with the default stand this monitor can be tilted forward and back, but cannot be adjusted up or down. It does have standard VESA mounting screw holes on the back so you could always use a third party stand/mount if you need to.

There is no USB hub or headphone stand on this model. It does have internal speakers but these are not good, they’re only useful as a stopgap while you wait for decent speakers to arrive. Inputs are 2 x HDMI and 1 x DP, with the usual buttons under the bottom-right edge to control the menus and source select. Power button is in the same area, and fortunately this is the right-most button and also the biggest so not hard to find.

Overall an excellent monitor for the price, I’m very happy with it. 5/5
