I went for the lowest specs because of the price. I enjoy the Chromebook but I would say if you can afford to pay more then go for better specs

I use this beast for all my office work and do not miss Windows at all.

The processor is really snappy and it handles multitasking effortlessly. The touchscreen and track pad are super responsive and it feels very premium.

Solid metal body but compact and lightweight.

Resolution could be higher but I find most content looks great.

Being fan-less you may find prolonged video editing will warm things up a little… But a cooling stand really compensates well. You won’t needv this unless you’re really pushing the i7 chipset with some serious demand. It’s cool as a cucumber with standard use.

Tablet mode is great for art work and taking notes with a USI pen. The built in pen is okay for brief use but has short battery life so maybe pick up the latest from Penoval…I find it works well with this machine.

It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far and at the knock down price it’s well worth the spend.

It stops receiving updates in 2029 but that’s plenty of use!

    I’d say try it… It’s brilliant.

I absolutely love this Chromebook. I sold my apple iPad and MacBook to buy this Chromebook flip which is a tablet and a laptop in one. I never liked the MacBook and struggled with its operating system for 3 years. However, this Chromebook I instantly loved this. It’s easy to use and of fantastic quality. The stylus which is part of the deal is a great addition.
I chose this seller as he had great reviews and was significantly cheaper than all over suppliers. Delivery was quoted as approx 3-4 days but was actually delivered the next day by DHL.
I literally have not got 1 complai

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersone of the best choices I ever made in technology. After careful research, comparing the best laptops on the market for this range and type of features, this chromebook turns out to be at the top. I love the speed with which it operates and connects as well as the attractive and functional aesthetics.

    Best laptops eve

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was always a MS Windows type of guy, but I wanted a change. I just love it. The functionality of a laptop, with the ease of use of a tablet, using an Android OS (Google Chrome). I later bought a Google phone and buds to complement the flip book and couldn’t get over how easy everything synced together and took second’s. Th battery life is awsome, and the quality of the sound and screen is great too. I assure you it was well worth the money.

It is too soon to give a meaningful review but screen looks good and keys seem fine.
Touch screen also appears fine. Battery life is good and charging is pretty quick.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really like this Chromebook it’s perfect for my needs. I like the tablet mode, the back-lit keyboard and the battery life. The screen is clear and vivid and the touchscreen works without fault. Once you get used to the touch-pad particularly the double finger right click, its a complete package. Fast, capable and well built. If i had a criticism it would be the black interior, although nice to feel it does show finger print smudges.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy first unit appeared to have a faulty bluetooth controller but only when in flip screen mode it would always disconnect the bluetooth keyboard after a few seconds when used in conjunction with a bluetooth mouse – I returned that one rather than send it away for fixing.

Now that I have the replacement model and it works flawlessly but the sound coming from the Harman Kardon speakers sounds far too tinny (not enough base) and quiet. Just search for a Volume Master chrome extension to bump up the sound on WebApps.
The laptop feels sturdy and quick, the 360 Flip screen is such a great feature it looks great driving external monitors , keyboard and mouse.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEverything about this Chromebook is quality. Solid feel and high spec. Quite possibly too high specced for our requirements but maybe one day I’ll explore the possibilities of Linux. it’s an absolute pleasure to use, lightning fast.
Sound and screen are probably not best available but are still very good.
The combination of components ensures it will be valuabl

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was looking at getting away from a Windows 10 computer. Their updates over the last year or so have been completely disastrous on three modern computer systems I own. This does everything I need it to do and more. The hardware is excellent, from the touch screen, to the backlit keyboard and the touchpad. The build quality is truly excellent. You can run Windows 365 cloud based, or native on the hardware with no problems whatsoever with google docs. The dictation and voice typing software are truly excellent and a massive time saver. Simple safe and reliable, the best thing I’ve bought in ages. So glad to get out of Windows 10 and the mind melt that produced. Just so you know, I used to be a computer programmer, so I am no IT illiterate.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis Chromebook is everything I wanted and more. It has everything, plenty of apps and games from Playstore and it also has a touchscreen, which works great. I was presently surprised you get a stylus included in the box, so that’s a bonus if you like drawing or coloring. Love the white color of the device and the black inside just makes it stand out, also a back-lit keyboard is a must have thing. Battery lasts a long time and i love that there is two charging ports, one at each side is very handy! 10/10 from me I would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been a fan of chromebooks for a few years and have been well-served by my Acer R13 – a lovely and high quality product. I purchased the Asus CX5 because my Acer will cease receiving updates next year, and because I was attracted by the larger screen (for streaming live music and other arts broadcasts ), the backlit keyboard, and the specification (Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD) which is more than enough for my requirements, and the price which is very competitive, especially as it comes with an Asus USI stylus. I like everything about it – it looks great, is not heavy and can be carried around if need be, it has an HDMI socket, good trackpad and touchscreen – I could go on. For me, its competitor is the Acer spin 713 and I considered buying it, but for the price, the Asus has the technological edge over it and its screen is larger. There are adverse comments about the brightness of the screen, and I can understand that as it doesn’t have the pin sharp appearance of my current Acer R13, but it is a good screen and absolutely perfect for me and I have no issues with it at all. If you like chromebooks then you will love this one – it is a pleasure to own and use.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had nothing but praise for this Chromebook when it arrived and felt obliged to give it a full 5* review. However after a few days of use I almost started to regret my purchase.

    PROS
Great Laptop nice screen good layout and choice of touchscreen or Trackpad.
Super fast and fast boot gets the job done quick.
Great battery and good charging times.

    PROBLEMS
The main problem this Chromebook has is that everything you do you have to do it all online there is not much you can do should you have no internet or if you a a have WIFI or Power Cut.

Microsoft Office App is not supported and must be done through Chrome Browser
Outlook Email App is no longer supported and must be manually loaded through Chrome Browser

Other apps are also loosing support too forcing you to switch to an alternative or do without.

This is becoming a rather regrettable purchase for me.

It’s a very good large screen chromebook. I was using Pixelbook Go before CX5 and was a little bit worried since PBG is really well built but no worries there. If I would add something, I’d add a bit brighter screen (perfectly fine in everyday situations but would like to make it brigther in well lit situations) and then a bit better battery . If you think what you get with this price, it’s just a very very good chromebook. Recommend when you need 15.6 screen!
