Very comfortable. Keep your feet dry and smell free winter summer fantastic boots
This is my 5th pair of boots/ trainers from berghas only ever had a problem with one pair when the soles bubbled so I sent them back antd they replaced them free of charge but most pairs of boots I have last 2-3 years of heavy use every day and now they have sorted the soles out I can’t fault them . Price could be cheaper but you pay for what you get .
Fit for purpose
Early days for durability, posting this after 9 days but can confirm waterproof so far and very comfy, only suprise was no info regarding care of boot ( there’s probably something on website)
Also sole fairly easy to clean of mud, certainly compared to last admittedly cheap boots I had which were awful.
Waterproof so far (1month) and warm well fitting
Excellent boots in almost every way. Good grip in ice and snow. Slight discomfort around my ankles probably because I am in my 70s with some broken blood vessels there. Good buy and recommended.
Great shoes
It’s my second pair, but before I was able to buy size 6.5 which seems to fit better. This time bought size 7 (I normally buy 7), should be ok with winter socks
Yes, they do seem waterproof (updated after 2 years use - still waterproof ! )
There are a couple of reviews saying these boots are not waterproof even in wet grass. I have only had them a few days but I’ve worn them in lots of wet grass on several occasions and mine are completely waterproof.
I haven’t scaled a snowy mountain or walked through a stream but it is important that the claim they are not waterproof in wet grass is corrected. I have no idea what will happen to the waterproofing over time but right now I’m very happy with the purchase.
