This is my second jacket after the colour on my first jacket faded after years of use, but is still going strong.

Arms far far too long and no cuff fastening to hold them back. I like the jacket so had the sleeves altered but I would have need floor dragging knuckles to wear it as it came. It’s not fully wind proof either. There’s a section at each side which is like elastic or nylon. This gives the jacket some stretch but does not stop wind and rain. Very comfortable though and was great on my latest business trip (does not crumple when squeezed into small spaces I.e. overhead luggage bins.)

Looking at the photos, I wasn’t sure as there appears to be two different versions of this jacket. One has red detail on the zips, the other doesn’t, and I wanted the one with the red detail on the zips!
I just looks nice, it’s a smart little jacket and fairly warm and comfortable – not a winter jacket by any means, but nice for spring through to autumn.
Anyway, I was pretty happy when I received the one I wanted – the one with the red zips! Not sure what the deal is with those images, why they show images of different jackets, regardless I wasn’t disappointed and liked the item the minute I tried it on. I buy a lot of Berghaus gear and have several jackets and fleeces so was expecting decent quality and I got it at a good price.

All Year Hill Walking.
With only changes of base layer the jacket has been used throughout the year. It will comfortably handle a shower of rain, a lightweight waterproof being required for the heavier stuff. It is effectively windproof and warm. The non adjustable cuffs are a bit less convenient than the Ghlas 1 velcro type but much better for other garments like some of Berghaus own lightweight base shirts which are torn by it. Over all I prefer the new arrangement.

Comfortable
Bought this to replace and older jacket. Decent quality but not worth the 100 that other sites are offering it for but for what I paid, very pleased. It’s not a cold weather jacket, ideal for autumn and early spring as an outer jacket but an under layer in the more inclement weather. Good sizing, I’m a large and this came up perfectly but if you want a bit more room go a size up.
Windproof,warm ,comfortable jacke
Nice,comfortable jacket, looks & feels well made. Lightweight, windproof & warm. Sizing is accurate, but due to stretchiness of fabric fits quite tightly. Fine for wearing shirt or t-shirt underneath, but anything bulkier, go up a size. Two hand pockets, & one chest pocket on outside, all zipped. Inside there are two pouches where the outer pockets are sewn in, useful for storing mobile phone, map etc. Good quality jacket.
The versatility of this jacket is amazing.
I wear this all the time. It’s warm when there’s a slight chill but it’s otherwise pleasant weather, but even when it’s actually cold, it keeps me warm even if I have just a t shirt underneath.
Great Jacke
Great jacket, surprised I could get a berghaus jacket for such a good price. Had cheaper alternatives before but you can see and feel the quality in berghaus so worth paying that little bit more. I use the breast pocket for storing my phone which is handy although the nature of the material and the fit means you can tell my phone is in there.

Good quality jacket at a competitive price. Only reason for 4 stars is sleeves are a little narrow, so not comfortable with a jersey underneath.
