A very warm and good quality coa
Without doubt this is an excellent quality coat. I ordered a size up as many advised but it was too big. Also, it’s too thick and warm for my needs. I’m 5’7″ and it reached to about 4 ins above my knees which was really good.
The hood is designed for an alien with a large egg shaped head as another reviewer said! I couldn’t see out! Unfortunately I had to return it. For all that it is a lovely winter coat.
Great dog walking coa
Went out in -3 with the dog and was nice and toasty. Didn’t get too hot and it kept the cold air out.
Lots of pockets to keep everything in. Really pleased with it.
Took me two years of waiting for the price to finally drop so I could buy this jacket. I’m not disappointed in slightest. It’s fantastic. Keeps me warm, dry and stylish. Got many compliments as well. Love it!
Waterproof and windproof
Bought this for a winter jacket. Living in Scotland means winters are horribly wet, windy and cold. Jacket is completely waterproof, windproof and keeps you warm enough. I’m a size 12-14 and bought a large and I find there’s still room for a jumper underneath. Jacket looks smart. There are plenty of pockets and this jacket comes with thumbholes which I found quite cool. The only bad thing I have to say about this jacket is the hood. There’s way too much material in the kneck of the jacket and hood so it’s quite baggy. The slightest bit of wind and that hood just isn’t going to stay up so you end up having to hold it up which then results in your hand getting soaked and cramped. Tried with a hat and unfortunately still doesn’t help keep it up. So I find the hood useless. Maybe if it had toggles where you could tighten it, it would make the hoods purpose more redeemable and fit for purpose, who knows. I got the jacket on sale so it didn’t bother me as much but for full price with an unusable hood I wouldn’t have been happy.

Love the coat. Fits nice. Very warm. Only thing I don’t like is when the his is up. Its way too big and I have to hold it up so I can see where I’m walking, otherwise it comes over my face lol

Beautifully made a nice Coat it zips up should I have bought next size up? I think once I get used to it.if this is everything it says weatherproof and warm gets me through Winter I will be very pleased.This is smart more stylish then my previous lovely warm park .don’t understand the double zip?I won’t use 2 pockets because I don’t want to pull decorative poppers off.theres plenty of pockets a good Coat for the price .C.W
Truly Waterproof!
Quite long in the sleeves, but I do have short arms – I also bought a size bigger than usual for winter, I needed the extra space. It is however, truly waterproof and I’ve been wearing it in Storm Babet whilst walking my dogs – a huge asset.
The coat is very well made and warm, although quite bulky, it’s comfortable. It has good deep pockets and adjustable elastic bungees at the waist. I’ve knocked a star off as, like all these type of coats, the hood never stays up in the wind!!! The hood is too high, there is a large gap between the top of my head and the hood. Consequently the wind just blows the hood back.
Colour, style, and waterproof all perfect.
The hood is the only letdown. However, it is a dealbreaker. I live on the coast, strong winds and rain… the hood (when the coat is fully zipped up) comes up about 4-6inches off the top of the head. You have to hold the hood up (even a bobble hat doesn’t encourage it to stay up) the sleeve where you put your thumbs through get soaked, leading to the inside sleeve soaking the rain water. However, i love the style and colour of the coat. It definitely is waterproof…
But the hood could do with having cords to tighten it around the face….
You know when you’ve tried so many items of clothing over the years that you expect anything you order to not fit or look awful that you’re already preparing to send it back before you’ve even opened it, Well not with this jacket! Love it! It fits and looks great! And a brilliant price to boot, for once I’m really happy with my purchase
Nice coat not too thicklove the dark green colour only moan is that the sleeves aren’t very long they feel too short if I put my hands in the built in glove which is attached to each sleeve..shame as not totally fit for purpose and no I haven’t got extra long monkey arms :0)
Bought the 1st one to replace my old dog walking coat and was so nice bought a 2nd for work.
Lovely fit very flattering and warm.
There are only 2 Downsides; when fully zipped up I can just about see out over the top and the hood rises a hood 4″ above the top of my head so i try and keep the lip of the coat rolled down which lowers the hood and allows me to breath! and the pockets are very tight to get anything in or out of so use an addition bag for all the required dog walking items (treats, poo bags & my phone).
Lovely warm winter coa
Ideal for dog walking – lots of decent sized pockets with two security ones. Warm and waterproof which I wore in the snow/sleet yesterday and was very snug. I would have given it five stars if the hood was adjustable …… Good value for money as well.

Avevo comprato un altro modello spacciato per caldo, ma non lo era per niente. Questo invece si. Bello e comodo.
Inmejorable parka ligera y abrigada
Compr la parka porque quera un bsico de invierno, que no pesara y abrigase. Es muy bonita, tanto para ir vestida informal, como un poco ms arreglada. La calidad es excepcional, pero la devolv porque me quedaba larga para mi gusto, soy bajita y me llegaba por las rodillas. Si no hubiera sido por eso, me la hubiera quedado sin duda.

Feels comfortable to wear and quite smart. Not hasd it on in the cold yet so can’t comment on warmth.
I’ve worn this every day for a few weeks now. It’s nice and warm and waterproof, and covers my bum – exactly what I wanted. I love the cuffs with the thumb holes, and that the zip is 2-way. A few things that I think make it not 5 stars. Firstly the “decorative buttons” are nothing short of annoying, bright silver, huge and in no way attractive – I’m going to have to paint them black with nail polish I think, seriously. Secondly, yes it has a “high neck” as described but it’s not comfortable around the face at all, I have to wear it unzipped and have a scarf or high neck top underneath for the cold weather as it’s just scratchy and sits funny when zipped all the way to the top (such a shame it doesn’t have a popper closing for the neck, or a soft collar made from the same stuff as the wrist cuffs, like a Superdry coat style). And thirdly the pockets are just a little too high and a bit shallow for my liking. But, it’s a functional coat that will see me through the winter. It’s not fancy but does the job. Was sick of getting soaked through all my other coats and having to swap for different winter weather conditions so this ticks all the boxes. Looks particularly good with black wellies, if you’re that fussed about such matters. I chose medium (size 10-12) as I wanted to be able to wear jumpers underneath, and can do so. The sleeves are a little long but not a problem.

Nice Coat Fits Great.
I’ve only tried the coat on so far as it’s my Christmas present from my partner, so I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet, but the fit is really good. I’m a size 10/12 and went for the Medium. It leaves enough room to wear jumpers underneath. Looking forward to testing it out properly.
This is my 2nd Berydale jacket. This one is in blue. I just bought it and did not use it yet however I had the same model but in brown for the last 5 years. I am not joking, have been using it all the time and lasted that long. I live in channel islands, not very cold but often windy and wet. This jacket is perfect for this weather.
Jacket is very well made, fabric is sturdy and waterproof. Fits nicely, hood is spacious and protects well, slaves are rather long, nice design, looks good on the figure. Sizing is small. I usually wear size8 but my jacket is size M, one size up to my usual. I am very happy to write this review as I appreciate this product very much, it is worth spending time to share this information with others. Thank you!

It is a good quality parka; appears warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return it as it was well fitting on my torso but far too big and too wide in my shoulders.

I saw a recommendation on fb for this coat, as I wanted a super dry coat but they’re not generous in their fit of wanting to wear a jumper underneath.
This coat is same outer material, and fleece lined. It is a generous fit, lots of practical pockets and good length, it’s making me realise how cool my legs are. The collar is high covering mouth/nose so could double up as face covering when running into shops.
Would recommend when waiting at school gates.

Je l’ai utilise sous la pluies et la grle il m’a tenue au sec mais la capuche est un peu grande et le col trop haut c’est pas trs confortable ! Mais pour tout le reste il est parfai
I wanted to wait a little while to review this coat to hopefully try it in some different weather conditions. The first time wearing it was a baptism of fire! Torrential downpours, gusty winds, and rapidly dropping temperatures. It passed the test with flying colours. I was toasty warm and totally dry. Further wearing in similar conditions and its still performing just as well.
The length is great at just below mid-thigh and means that I don’t end up with freezing legs. Being slightly busty I went up a size so I could wear extra layers in the winter. The coat is actually a bit big but there is the option to cinch in the waist and definitely room for a chunky jumper, not that I think i will need it as its like wearing a duvet for warmth.
The hood is a good size and actually stays up! I can comfortably wear a wooly hat under it for those really cold mornings walking the dog.
This coat is fantastic and I feel very good value for money. Can’t recommend it highly enough for staying warm and dry.

Absolutely love this coat for dog walking, warm wind proof and love the deep fleece lined pockets, 2 way zip and sunglasses zip pocket. Wear it over a thin thermal top with a neck snood, un zipped or zipped up its a great coat! I have had a wax Barbour coat for the last couple of years but somehow this feels much more comfortable. Great colour and looks great with olive Hunter wellies and olive Hunter bag. Also I’m not a fan of gloves so the deep ribbed cuff has thumb hole so more or less does a great job of keeping hands warm! Great value for the price, and a good true fit!

I chose size 12 (M) even though I’m between 12/ 14 to avoid the bulky look in size 14. It fits OK and got a nicer shape compared to my other high street jackets. I’m not very fond of the large silver buttons but I can live with it.
I’ve looked at this coat a few times and decided to purchase it . I suffer with fibromyalgia and I’m always cold. I needed a coat that ticks a few boxes and I’m glad I bought it . It fits as expected, it’s flattering. It has a drawstring cord to pull the waist in . I’m a glove wearer and love that my cuffs have holes in that you can put your thumb in so it feels like you’re hands are covered. It’s quite long but has a button on the back to open. It looks good with jeans or trousers. I feel snug when I wear it . I highly recommend this coat to anyone that’s thinking of buying it . I’m glad I did . I bought the black one but I’m going to purchase the blue one .

This coat is a good buy. I haven’t yet tested out its waterproof qualities so can’t comment on these. I originally bought a size bigger as some of the reviews had suggested to do so but it was much too big on me. I’m a size 8 but sometimes a size 10 is better for winter for me as you can fit big jumpers underneath. The small was much too big and the extra small is just right. My one criticism is the collar. It’s very large and quite stiff when done up, but wearing it with a scarf underneath is fine.
Fabuloso! Me qued con la talla XS ya que suelo estar entre la S y la XS y le en los comentarios, que tallaba grande, lo cual es cierto pero tampoco de forma exagerada.
Por lo que se refiere a la finalidad…un 10! Abriga mucho, tiene forro, el detalle de los medios guantes, el interior de los bolsillos son tipo forro polar, el cuello alto, capucha etc, ideal para ir bien abrigado.
No pesa, pese a ser tan completo no es un armatoste!
Estticamente me ha sorprendido, pens que sera ms tipo deportivo pero lo cierto es que combina con un estilo casual pero arreglado.
Tiene buenos detalles, botones, cremalleras bien acabados.
Lo cierto es que no suelo comprar ropa por aqu ms all de algun pijama para los nios o calcetines y ropa interior pq la calidad no me acaba de convencer… pero con este abrigo, he dado en el clavo!
En definitiva, estoy encantada!

Covers all my needs perfectly – it’s warm, cosy and really comfy. Got the XS size and it’s just the fit for me as Im rather skinny, might be too narrow for other body types, though (wouldnt recommend it for the ladies with bigger breasts )

Im a sie 8-10, 5 ft 8in height, size small fits well, good material will keep its look for a few years without looking worn. This is my second time to buy this coat. bought the exact same one a few years ago, but I lost weight and needed a smaller size. I would like a draw string on the hood for windy weather but other than that, it’s a good warm stylish coat.

I’m a 12 and ordered the medium which is a snug fit with a jumper under it. I like that it is long enough to cover my bum, is fairly warm and wind proof. Not been out in the rain yet so can’t say how waterproof it is, although it coped well with a very light drizzle. No adjustment features on the hood although the hood seems to fit quite well. The pockets are a decent size, plenty of room for my dog walking stuff (poo bags, torch, treats). Not very keen on the big buttons with high quality guaranteed on them, maybe just me but I think they make it look cheaper? Overall a good coat that I’m happy with.

Nice jacket, looks stylish but definitely not true to size. The sizing is strange as the next size up from an extra large is size 18. As I’m a 14 but mostly 16 I ordered extra large and it’s too tight. I would like to exchange for an 18 but can’t send it back as I have thrown away the packaging. Very annoyed as it is not a cheap jacket.

I needed a waterproof jacket that was warm enough for the winter months and which looked attractive. I am normally a size 10 and am 5′ 10″ tall and bought a medium and it fit perfectly even with a heavy sweater on underneath. Love the number of pockets too as this means I can go on my long walks with a lot of stuff without needing an extra bag. Would recommend!

I’m a size 12 in clothes and I wanted this coat for cold autumn / winter rainy days. Specifically for rainy days. I ordered the Large to begin with as I wanted to wear it with sweaters and hoodies underneath, but it was way too tight, so I sent it back and reordered an XL. The XL is much better for how I’m wearing it and as it not a proper winter coat I can now warm myself up more with sweaters etc or if it’s a warmer day but raining just wear a light top/T-shirt.
Also, 100% not flattering, but I think this coat is meant to be. It’s meant to keep the rain off and keep you warm.

Overall very pleased. Certainly warm & waterproof. Ordered a Large fit [I am normally a 14/16 for coats] which does feel very snug – I wouldn’t be able to wear a heavy winter jumper under it but then again the coat keeps you so warm I think [as a dog walker] I would get far too hot. Have tested in very cold strong wind and remained warm. Sleeves feel fractionally too long for me but not a problem. Did consider initially going a size bigger but think that would have been far too bulky. Have worn jacket a number of times now and either I have trimmed up slightly or the jacket has moulded to me as the newness settles in !!! Does look very smart & is a quality garme
I inadvertently tested this coat recently when caught in torrential rain/gale on our 3 mile walk. Thrilled that I came home completely dry! (apart from my lower legs) whilst my husband came home freezing as he was soaked through bless him. I then shook the rain off the coat and hung it up – it was dry within minutes.
Yes the hood is very roomy but in the winter I’ll want to fill that space with a snood, as per final photo.
I’m 5’7 and normally a size 8-10 but with broad shoulders (which are often a problem) and narrow hips – I bought the size Small which is perfect and has room to spare for extra layers. Definitely recommend.
Great coa
Looks well made and is have tested it in the rain yet it does look very well fitted which is flattering you do not need many layers as it’s very warm.

I seem to be living in this now. It is comfortable to wear and I like the fact that the zip zips both ways. It is smart enough to wear whilst wandering around and practical enough for walking the dogs in. It has lots of pockets which is ok if you like losing things! The only thing that I don’t like is the lining which feels cheap. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
GREAT VALUE WINTER COAT
I have been wearing Jack Woolfskin for years but have been disappointed with their new styles. I came across Jack Murphy womens jackets and thought for the price (85) it was worth a go. I am most impressed. I like the fit, the hood is big enough (although a string to tighten it in windy weather would be useful), it has plenty of pockets (although I do miss my breast pockets which my other coat has) and its about the right warmth at the moment. In the very cold I can add a fleece. Ive not had chance to test it in the rain but the quality of the fabric is very good. Oh and its the right length. I am tall and it comes mid thigh on me. A nice looking coat for a great price.

So I am a size 10/12. 5ft 7 and 9 st 7. I got a medium and it is a nice fit. Bit of room if I needed a jumper. Fabric is expensive looking a light stripe twill effect beneath surface. The zipped pocket above the main pocket is almost a mock pocket but the two main pockets are deep and warmly lined.
The interior is quilted and very warm. Only sticking point is the the zip it seems a bit fiddly. I am going to try if with out the label but it is a two way zip and needs a bit of lining up. I can see this coat being very useful as we spend more time out doors socializing out doors
I’m very happy with this jacket – reading all the reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m usually a UK 14 (top) and UK 12 (bottom) so I went for the L as it was a couple of inches larger than my actual measurements and that’s exactly what I ended up with – enough room for wearing extra layers underneath if needed but it doesn’t feel too big without. I wanted something warm, waterproof and to see me through dog walking in winter, whatever the weather, and have room for added layers. The waist can be pulled in with the inside drawstring to give more shape as you need it. I’m 5ft 4″ so the length for me comes to lower mid thigh which keeps the top of my legs warm. I’ve worn it in light/med rain and fairly strong wind, over the last couple of days – it’s great for blocking the wind and kept me perfectly dry after being out in it for about an hour (will test it out in heavier rainfall in due course). It’s comfortable and snug to wear with warm and useful pockets – the temperature control is good – not getting too hot when walking a lot but still keeping nicely warm and dry. The dual zip (top and bottom opening) is always nice to have and there’s also an option to open the back vent button, if you need extra stride. The hood is also warm – I wouldn’t say it’s overly large as some have suggested but agree there isn’t anything to hold it in place or tighten it, especially if very windy (you can easily wear a hat inside when really cold, which could help hold the hood in place better, or maybe add some ties inside?). I also found the sleeves to be a good length having average length arms, I think!? The fabric is really nice and the finish on my jacket is good. I bought the brown one – lovely shade and overall, I’m very happy with it!
Gleich mal vorweg: diese Jacke hlt wirklich sehr warm! Ich Friere normalerweise sehr schnell und mit dieser Jacke berhaupt nicht.
Bei ungefhr 1-2 mit einem Strickpullover darunter, musste ich sie sogar aufmachen damit mir nicht zu warm wird. Ich trage eigentlich die Kleidergren S oder M.. je nachdem wie die Sachen ausfallen.
Da ich Jacken aber eher enger anliegend haben mchte, entschied ich mich S zu kaufen und darauf zu hoffen, noch einen dicken Pulli darunter anziehen zu knnen, falls sie doch nicht so warm hlt (bevor sie ankam war ich sehr skeptisch wegen der Wrme)
Was soll ich sagen? Unter die Jacke htten 5 Pullis gepasst! Sie war viel zu gro und sah auch wirklich sehr unfrmig aus. Also ging sie zurck und das Ganze nochmal in XS bestellt.
Nun bin ich mehr als zufrieden! Sie passt wunderbar, schaut schick aus, betont die Figur und hlt warm. Leider konnte ich sie noch nicht bei Regen testen.
Wrde aber jedem Raten, die Jacke zumindest in der Passenden Gre zu bestellen. Keine Nummer grer fr die dicken Klamotten darunter! Die passen auch so ganz sicher unter die Jacke!

Love my coat altough not yet tested in pouring rain ….I would still wear a jumper undrneath and scarf keep warm but fits perfectly . Hood little big but always had that issue.. got xs which was the smallest option .

This is a really good jacket and has already become indispensable wear.
The first one came with a faulty zip but replacement was quickly organised.
Am a size 10/12 and purchased Medium on reading the reviews. It is an excellent fit, just right for me but if you are 12/14 would definitely be too small. Cannot understand comments on sleeve length as I have fairly long arms and the sleeves are plenty long enough; the storm cuffs are great and come to base of thumb so wouldn’t want any longer. Some people refer to a faux fur strip on hood which can be unzipped ? No fur (thank goodness) and no zip on mine !
Also would comment that the shape is exactly as portrayed, waist fits well (and has a drawstring to tighten) and the jacket is a well fitting and good length.
Very warm without being over bulky and have tested in fairly heavy downpour and was completely waterproof..Texture of jacket is not slippery and has a matt, ‘weave’ type finish which makes it pleasant to wear (unlike some waterproofs) and also reasonably smart for town and country use.
I walk miles in all weathers and am delighted with this jacket – exactly the replacement for an old faithful.
It is rather long and well fitting for cycling but there is a reverse zip function which should mean ok if you want to horse ride.
Only niggle is hood which is quite big , tends to blow back and rather obscures your vision. This is a minor point and a common problem with hoods I find (my Barbour is the same)
Tolle Jacke!
Jacke ist nach 3 Werktagen angekommen.
Habe sie anprobiert mit einem dicken Pullover drunter, da ich las, dass die Jacke zu klein ausfallen wrde.
Mir hat sie perfekt gepasst, nicht zu gross nicht zu klein!
Die Jacke knistert ein wenig, was mich aber nicht strt.
Wenn man die Jacke komplett schliesst, kommt man in die Kapuze sehr schlecht rein da sie klein isr aber das ist kein Problem ich mach da eine andere dran.
Ich bin 1,60 gross hab sie in XS also 34 bestellt sie geht mir fast bis zu den Knien.
Sehr schöner Kurzmantel
Habe den Mantel heute erhalten. Er sieht wirklich sehr schn aus und auch wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Wie warm er ist kann ich noch nicht sagen… wird jetzt erst getestet. Der Kragen geht schn weit hoch, sodass man gut eingepackt ist. Ich habe Gre XS bestellt bei 1,60 Krpergre. Passt optimal, allerdings wrde ich bei einer greren Oberweite eine Nummer grer bestellen da er sonst obenrum zu eng ist – bei mir hat’s genau gepasst 😉
Einziges Manko, finde ich, sind die Knpfe der Taschen. Da sind mir Druckknpfe immer lieber, da man schneller ans Innere der Taschen kommt. Wenn man sie offen lsst die Taschen sieht man die Knpfe nicht mehr was optische nicht so schn aussieht. Aber denk damit kann man leben.
Ansonsten kann ich die Jacke empfehlen! Passt sowohl zu Sneaker aber auch zu schickeren Schuhen. 😉
I had been looking for a coat, that fits well, for months and months and finally bought this as could not find one in the shops.
It fits perfectly (bought size 8) – as though tailored for me! Felt tight when it was new but definitely became more comfortable as I wore it everyday.
It feels very light yet is very warm and the windproof features have been handy. Worn it through the cold February month.
The pockets are great.. there is a mesh one inside and to my pleasant surprise, I found a secret one with the opening next to the main zip! The zip can be undone from the bottom after having it done up, if it feels restrictive when driving or sitting down.
Really pleased with my purchase and have received lots of compliments.
