Great pump. Easy to install and maintain and economical too

Works very well for very low wattage.
Shocked that no plug attached. Every pump I have every purchased had a plug and warning warrantee void if cut off.
Main cable is 4 pin making it very difficult to extend if your controls are a bit away from the pond.

Fantastic features, soft start, debris handling, does what it says on the box.

Perfect flow. Worked out of the box. Easy to set up. Low cost to run. I’m using it on the 15 watts per hour setting which is 50 watts per hour less than my old 30 year old Blagdon pump it replaced. Has been running faultlessly since purchase.

Had a few pumps over the year some good some not so good but what l like about this pump is l can control everything without getting my hands wet easy to regulate from a digital control unit dropping power consumption down to 30w but still giving out a lot of pressure to To run my water feature sooo pleased outstanding quality outstanding price

    Outstanding quality

17w setting gives about the same flow rate as old 50w pump. Easy to adjust rate. Only downside is the clips to remove frame (for cleaning) are very stiff. Please with the pump.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWell I wanted to see how long it would be before it collapsed or stopped working.
Mine powers a waterfall and rotary filter. so pumps up hill over 1.5 mtrs and probably 10mtr pipe length.
Initially set it on high until the pond was clear then turned it down to 32 watts. Couldnt tell the difference in flow but way cheaper to run. The fish seem to like the clear water too

Great pump, works well even with murky water. Pumps more water than i expected, I have it on minimum power most of the time

The design and digital display make this pump ideal for my medium sized pond with water fall. Any faults are displayed and can be rectified.

Great pump very powerful so I sill had to use a valve inline, set to lowest rate of 40watts

So far so good, my first pump so I have nothing to compare it with. I really appreciate the power readout, efficiency and pressure achieved.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave been running this pump 24/7 for several weeks. It performs as described. I only need to run it on the lowest power, 17watts but it turns over double the flow of my old 40watt pump running a fountain and waterfall through an external gravity fed three tank filter. Assuming this continues I would have no difficulty in recommending it. I probably could have got away with the lowest power model

Had to replace my existing pump and after looking at several alternatives found this to be the best value in terms of running costs. Fitted this a few weeks ago and i have to say i am very pleased so far, this new pump is doing a great job of clearing the algae and waste in the pond. So much better than my previous pump, the water is almost clear now.
I like the fact you can adjust the running costs by lowering the wattage when required and so easy to maintain.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought this Blagdon IQ 3000 – 6000 pond pump to use in a disappearing waterfall and stream water feature we built in the back garden. We chose it because it has variable power settings and has a small footprint compared to other similar pumps which meant it would fit into the pump sump along with its associated plumbing, and can be mounted in any position (ours is laid on its side.)
The water reservoir is approx. 300 ltrs capacity which is ample to ensure the streams and waterfalls run realistically which they do thanks to the variable power settings of the pump. Set at 17 Watts the feature is soothing and gentle yet still achieves reasonable flow throughout.
Set at 35 Watts the feature gushes and gurgles as if a spell of heavy rain has swollen a natural waterway.
We haven’t had to maintain the pump yet as it has been running on and off for only eight or so weeks, however, before we installed the pump we tried to open the case as per the rather murky instructions without success, so, when the time comes to clean or maintain it arrives we will probably need to call the support line.
Also, somewhat disturbingly, when, and only when, the pump is running, and the control pad is operational (it’s mounted on the wall outside the back door) it markedly interferes with radio reception (esp BBC Radio 2) AND it also causes the igniters on our gas hob to activated sporadically – so much so that we have had to switch off the power to the gas hob. We are currently waiting for an electrician to investigate this but we tried running the power in several different ways to eliminate any other likely cause and the only conclusion was the pump and or, more likely, the control unit to the pump! (Watch this space).
Otherwise we are delighted with it so far and not withstanding the above would highly recommend it.

I love it. This pump TELLS you when there is a problem with it. No more sticking your hand into the gloomy depths, feeling through sludge. Howf!

The pump itself is impressively powerful. Whoosh.

The digital read out tells you what’s wrong. Nice

It really is a better pump for your pond

This is a good piece of engineering. The important things for me are that it has protection against a low water level, which can damage some pumps, and that it produces a strong head for a relatively low power input. It runs at a maximum of 35W which will cost less than 10p a day, and this can be reduced down to half by running at lower power. I also like the range, with different strengths and features clearly set out to match individual requirements (click on “see more product details”). Overall a good choice.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe were very pleased to try this as we were unhappy with the pump we had. This is a nice quality product, heavy and well made. Comes with easy to follow instructions ( so my husband tells me lol) and the set up was also easy. Comes with plenty of cable so no having to buy extra as we did before. It has a scroll display so very easy to see if you have a fault what it is. Considering its so powerful it seem energy saving although we would need to test it over the months to really say it is. I have to say my husband was impressed by it and I am sure I will enjoy it in the summe

Easy to setup, pumps well easy to read LED screen, cable length is long enough, waterfall effects are soothing to the eye, not had it long but so far excelle
