- Is this product suitable for my Android phone? Can I use Android AUTO?
This product only supports wired CarPlay to wireless conversion, only supports IOS, does not support cellphone other than IOS, does not support Android Auto.
- Do I have to sync the adapter every time I use it?
Not required! Once set, your phone will automatically pair each time you drive.
- Does the product have to use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth? There is no Wi-Fi in my car.
Our adapter has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects to Bluetooth, sends Wi-Fi credentials to the phone, then disconnects Bluetooth. From now on, connections will only be made via WLAN.
- Can it be used on my iPhone?
Yes, it works on all iPhones from 5 (with iOS 7.1) to the largest 13 Pro.
If I have two phones, which one will it be connected to?
You can use two cell phones at the same time. If both are in the car, they will be connected to the last paired phone.
- Does it come with instructions?
Yes, it includes instructions in English. As a plug-and-play solution, Carlinkit 3.0 is very easy to install. Turn on the phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks, and remove the hands-free connection from the phone and car system settings.
Plug the adapter into the CarPlay USB port.
Wait for the user interface to appear on the screen, then click the Search button.
Select the phone you want to pair with the adapter (or connect via Bluetooth which will appear on the screen).
When the notification appears, choose Pair on the phone.

Sinceramente all’inizio sono stato titubante per via del prezzo un po’ elevato, ma appena salito in auto si collegato immediatamente, molto stabile nella connessione, ringrazio lo staff per la disponibilit nel risolvere un piccolo problema dovuto all’aggiornamento dell iPhone , ottimo acquisto .

Plugged in and set up was simple. It loads and self connects really fast. Yes it takes longer than it used to when I directly plugged the phone in but this is so much simpler. I have had no disconnection issues while driving. Once it took a long time to connect but it did connect without the need for a reset. I’ve owned this since mid June and it’s now the end of July.
2018 focus ST
Works flawlessly in my 2018 Ford Focus ST-Line-X..hidden away in the centre arm rest which has a usb socket.
Much more stable than 'mini' version, works well with PCM 4
Brought to replace a carlinkit mini version which continually crashed and disconnected, glad to report this is super solid and no-drop outs when connected to a Porsche with PCM 4.
Adds wireless CarPlay to my Seat Leon. Now the wireless charging makes much more sense.
Does exactly what I wanted it to and is usually connected and up and running within 20 seconds. It seems to be as reliable as the head unit and I’ve only noticed a couple of crashes or lock ups since I’ve been using it. It seems to be as reliable as the wired connection so I’m more than happy with my purchase. As as said in the summary line it now makes the car completely wireless and makes much more sense out of using the wireless charger the car came with.

Ausgepackt, angesteckt und es hat sich sofort ohne Probleme verbunden. Fr mich war es das Geld wert den ich habe schon lang nach sowas gesucht. Jetzt kann ich endlich die blde Kabel zur Seite legen 😉 und mein caddy 2017 ist auf den aktuellsten stand Car Play ohne Kabel zu nutzen 🙂
Tut was es soll besser als erwarte
Nach anfnglichen Problemen muss ich nun nach einem etwas lngeren Zeitraum sagen es funktioniert nahezu problemlos! Man kann alles machen wie fest angeschlossen! Da ich im Kundendienst unterwegs bin steige ich diverse Male am Tag ein und aus ! Also perfekte Lsung fr mich !
Works on 2017 Vauxhall Astra SRi - Update the firmware
I’ve been after something like this for a while, as when my phone is wired to the car, I sometimes leave my phone in the car. When I first connected the device, I didn’t think it had connected, so I contacted the seller via WhatsApp. They replied quickly and told me to try a couple of things. What I hadn’t realised was that the device was offering WiFi with an SSID of VAUXALL03.
I connected to that, upgraded the firmware and then my head unit saw the device for what it was and I was able to Bluetooth to the device and use CarPlay just as if the phone was wired.
I’ve not used it much, but it’s worked every time. Car controls for audio and voice activation work as expected. I haven’t tried a phone call yet, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work.

Dopo aver letto diverse recensioni sul prodotto ho deciso di acquistarlo e l’ho installato sulla Peugeot 308 SW di mia Moglie. Il pairing con l’auto stato immediato ed abbiamo connesso un Iphone 11 ed un Iphone 7 senza riscontrare problemi. Solo in un paio di occasioni ha dovuto staccare e riattaccare il cavo USB perch il dispositivo non partiva ma per il resto dopo pochi secondi dall’apertura dell’auto (e quindi dell’attivazione dei 12v sulla USB) la connessione si stabilisce.
Per ora sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto, integrer eventualmente la recensione pi avanti se sar necessario in caso di problematiche maggiori riscontrate durante l’uso.

Not a lot to say other than it works perfectly. Connects really quickly on startup. Doesn’t glitch. Very happy customer. Using it in a 2020 Porsche 718.
En mi caso se conecta muy rpido, en apenas unos segundos (iPhone 11 Pro Max y un Peugeot 3008 Hybrid de 2021) y si hay un poquito de retardo al pasar canciones es tan ligero que prcticamente no es apreciable o no afecta a la experiencia de usuario. Es una gozada sentarte y ver cmo por fin se conecta solo al telfono sin andarse con cables ni historias.
Es ms caro que una mortaja, pero la comodidad tiene un precio! An no lo he probado con llamadas, pero por el momento todo es igual a la conexin con cable. Jos! y encima puedo utilizar la carga inalmbrica del coche. Si es que es todo un win/win!
Flawless / 2017 VW Passat BiTDI
Lightening port is going iffy on my phone and causing disconnections when using a wire, so thought would give this a try.
Arrived well packaged but the instructions seemed a little light on detail for my liking. However, there was no need to worry as it was super simple and set up could have been done without the instructions. Updated the software also – literally just point your camera at the qr code.
All in all, absolutely spot in. Box is hidden away in arm rest and connects automatically every time.

Works in a 2020 Mazda 6 GT Sports NAV +
As my car didn’t have the wireless car play, I thought I would give this device a try after doing a bit of research. I’ve had it over a week and it’s been working brilliantly so far, with a couple of occasional issues. Once the device crashed and needed to be unplugged and replugged back into the USB port. The other time the device rebooted itself. Having said that, it may just need a software update.

installato sul infotainment di una Hyundai i10 2020 dotata di carplay di serie.
il ricevitore si comporta molto bene, mi sar capitato forse 2-3 volte che non si sia connesso automaticamente al telefono su un totale di circa 120 accensioni del veicolo in due mesi.
Si sposa bene con l’infotainment della i10 in quanto il sistema si avvia silenziosamente non appena si sblocca il veicolo con la chiave quindi in quei secondi che si perdono per avvicinarsi all’auto, posare zaini/giacche sul sedile posteriore e girare la chiave nell’avviamento ci si ritrova quasi subito nella schermata di carplay.
Qualche volta pu capitare che il sistema mostri il men principale della hyundai o la schermata di informazioni inerenti ai dati raccolti da carplay ma basta premere su “carplay” o su “chiudi” per avviare immediatamente il sistema apple. Ho notato sporadicamente un leggerissimo stutter durante la riproduzione musicale, mi sembra che coincida con la fine di un brano e l’inizio del successivo ma quasi impercettibile e dura un istante. La voce durante la navigazione puntuale e in generale i comandi al volante sono ritardati di circa 1 secondo.
“Hey siri” funziona correttamente e la qualit delle chiamate non risente di alcun problema.
Anche lo switch da modalit/mappa chiara/scura avviene senza intoppi ed perfettamente sincronizzato con l’accensione automatica dei fari.
Nel mio caso specifico non sono incappato in difetti visivi, o in overlay di selezione probabilmente perch riconosce correttamente che il mio infotainment dotato di touchscreen che in ogni caso rimane abbastanza reattivo (non fluido come il carplay cablato o come l’interfaccia di serie del veicolo ma non frustrante utilizzarlo)
Ho anche eseguito tutti gli aggiornamenti del firmware disponibili per il carlinkit ma ha sempre funzionato bene con tutte le release, anche con la versione preinstallata.
credo che con questi dispositivi l’esperienza d’uso cambi drasticamente da infotainment ad infotainment e da veicolo a veicolo. In linea generale mi sento di consigliarlo a chi dispone di un carplay cablato di serie, su un veicolo abbastanza moderno e dotato di interfaccia touchscreen (pare che con i rotori a selezione abbia un p di incertezza).
insomma, promosso su hyundai i10 2020 che tra l’altro anche dotata di culla di ricarica Qi.

Ich hab mir das Gert geholt weil ich auch bei kurzen Strecken nicht immer das Kabel anschlieen will. Ich muss sagen das Ding funktioniert bei mir ohne Probleme bisher. Ich nutze es mit einem iPhone 12 Pro Max sowie Pioneer AVH-z7000DAB.
Positiv ist auch. Ich muss mein Gesicht nicht mehr ins Telefon halt nachdem das Kabel eingesteckt wurde 🙂

It works (with Audi Q7 2018)
Nine times out of ten, it automatically connects the iPhone wirelessly to the Carplay system.
But from time to time, it cannot find the phone, and nothing helps establish the connection.
It’s a bit annoying that every time I stop the engine, the car says,” Your mobile phone is still in the vehicle.”
It’s a bit pricey for the thing it does, but altogether I am satisfied with the product.

So far so good. Found it didn’t connect on a couple of occasions so removed my phone from paired Bluetooth devices on my cars settings and it now connects every time.
There’s no delays or lag. Pretty much works exactly the same as it would when connected with a cable.

Does what it’s supposed to! Easy to set up! Impressed!
After a 160 mile test run …it works.
The only reasons for the dropped star are:
1. There’s a 1 second delay between forwardreverse music tracks and it actually happening, and the same happens when navigating – the Nav delay hasn’t made me miss a turn yet though.
2. The WiFi signal strength icon displays a “not connected to the internet” asterisk (as can be seen in my Nav image uploaded). I know wifi isn’t connected to the internet because it’s connected to this adaptor (needed for this to work in almost real time)! But I still have internet from my service provider, so that’s annoying to see – even though it’s technically Apple’s fault.
I didn’t get mine from here because I sourced it cheaper elsewhere, but it’s the exact same one. If you have any issues connecting, you may have to remove your car hifi’s wifi connection from your phone! but as it’s connected wirelessly, your phone will provide all the internet it needs.
It takes around a minute or less to fire up from cold, but connects automatically after the initial install.
Set up within seconds - literally
After trying another version of this product shipped direct from China (which sadly was faulty and had to be returned) i was hopeful but not optimistic this would work in my A3. However my worries were unfounded as it connected to the car within 30 seconds and was ready to pair with my phone which it did seamlessly.
Connectivity looks to be just as good as with the cable, but it’s early days so watch this space – so far so good
Ich muss gestehen ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch, ob des Preises und auch der Verarbeitung. Wenn es denn funktioniert, warum ist der Markt nicht so gut bedient? Das Kabelproblem sollten ja mittlerweile einige im Auto haben und nach Lsungen suchen. Ich habe es dennoch bestellt und wurde sehr berrascht!
Nachdem ich mein Fahrzeug bereits mit einer induktiven Lademglichkeit fr mein iPhone nachgerstet hatte fehlte nur mehr wireless carplay. Nach vielem suchen und lesen bin ich immer wieder auf dieses Gert gestoen. Da Amazon Prime mir die kostenfreie Rcksendung des Produktes garantiert, habe ich es einfach mal bestellt, ich war ja abgesichert. Gleich nach dem ersten, wirklich super einfachen Verbindens, war ich berzeugt. Die Performance, Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit und Funktionsumfang sind absolut berzeugend. ich persnlich merke keinen Unterschied zur Kabelverbindung, auer das mein Fahrzeug aufgerumter wirkt! Es verbindet sich beim Fahrzeugstart automatisch mit dem Telefon, sollte ein weiteres IPhone in der Nhe sein wird kurz gefragt welches angemeldet werden soll, dann funktioniert auch das hervorragend.
Ich bin wirklich sehr begeistert und freue mich ber den dazugewonnenen Komfort. Kein lstiges Kabelverstecken mehr.
Ich verwende das Gert in Verbindung mit einem IPhone XS, einem IPhone 8 und einem IPhone 6 in einem Volvo V90.
Ich kann das Gert uneingeschrnkt empfehlen, bisher hatte ich weder Aussetzer noch anderweitige Probleme! Tolle Lsung und den preis absolut wert!
Works well in Focus
This unit works well in my Ford Focus with sync 3.4. Connection to the phone takes around 10 seconds from starting the car, and all functions work including audio, maps and steering wheel controls. There are frequent firmware updates for the device to fix any bugs too.
Works really well most of the time
So far so good with this wireless CarPlay adapter the odd time it freezes on start up maybe one in every 30 times, but to be fair I’m not sure if this is the car or the adapter. Steering wheel buttons all work and sound quality pretty good. Perhaps a future software update will sort out the random freezing and then I’d happily rate as 5 stars.
Great little device! Let’s me use a wireless charging mat in the car and still use car play. No longer do I forget my phone and leave it tucked away in the armrest plugged in!
Easy to set up, and works every time. Haven’t noticed anything untoward except perhaps the steering wheel buttons are ever so slightly delayed but no biggy.

Mit gemischten Gefhlen gekauft, angesteckt, Update aufgespielt und luft seit der ersten Inbetriebnahme der Preis ist zwar etwas happig aber der neu gewonnene Komfort ist mir das ganze wert ! Benutze diesen Adapter in meinem Hyundai Kona , wenn weiterhin neue Updates erhltlich sind um auch mit dem iOS 14 und folgenden funktioniert gibt es von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung
Great idea but it just doesn’t work as well as it should. Playing music is the problem, there are skips and stutters and then after about 4 or 5 mins the audio becomes distorted and an unlistenable mess. I’ve updated the firmware to the latest, the problem persists. Right now if the issues aren’t solved by the time it’s eligibility for return runs out I’m going to send it back.
Update: the latest software update has cured the problem and it now works as you’d expect 🙂
