Meine dritte Promaster innerhalb von 20 Jahren. Ca. Alle 10 Jahre geht sie so stark nach, dass ich mir eine neue Uhr kaufe. lwechsel beim Uhrmacher kostet ca. die Hlfte des Neupreises.
Dopo anni che lo osservavo in vari video e recensioni, finalmente l’ho preso. E sono rimasto molto sorpreso dalla qualit e dalla bellezza di questo diver.
il secondo Citizen che acquisto, e sono sempre pi soddisfatto di questo brand.
Finiture, precisione nei dettagli e senso di robustezza, ne fanno un Daily Watch, per eccellenza.

Ottimo orologio con rapporto qualit prezzo imbattibile. Le dimensioni sono adatte anche ad un polso medio e l’orologio non risulta esageratamente grosso. La ghiera non ballerina e precisa nel movimento e il cinturino, pur non essendo di qualit eccelsa, ben fatto. Non leggerissimo ma, comunque sia, confortevole. Indici e lancette molto luminescenti. Non metto 5 stelle perch mi aspettavo la confezione nella bombola gialla, peccato.
Sieht gut aus, Krone durchdacht angebracht, Band lsst sich fein einstellen OHNE es zerlegen zu mssen. Was mir nicht gefllt, die einzelnen Glieder des Armbandes werden nicht durch Stifte verbunden, das macht die Anpassung fr Laien wie mich umstndlich und kompliziert, meine Meinung. Aktuell habe ich das Gefhl, dass die sie doch ber Gebhr vorgeht, beobachte das.
The watch wasn’t as big than I expected, I’d heard it was a compact diver from other reviews, but it wears smaller on the wrist than I expected. This was good as I have slimmer wrists, around 6.5 – 6.75 inches.
Build quality is good, on mine the bezel lines up perfectly and has no loose play. The finish is good.
As others have said, the bracelet is awful, I’ve put it on a Nato strap till I get something better.
Accuracy is pretty good for an automatic with this movement and price, mine arrived gaining around 8 – 10 seconds per day.
Edit — I got the watch regulated (most watch repair shops can do it) after having mine done it’s gone from gaining 8-10 seconds a day to +/- .5 seconds which evens out at 0 seconds. It’s only been a few days but now it’s performing very accurately.
I registered it for the extra years guarantee on the Citizen UK website and the process was easy and quick.
The watch is what I expected for the price, I’ve no real complaints, it’s well made, I like the look and so far the only negative is the bracelet it comes on (especially if you have hairy arms.)
Mine came with the 8204 hackable movement.

Consiglio questo orologio preciso ed affidabile al mare, da usare senza troppe preoccupazioni in acqua.

La qualit del prodotto molto buona tralasciando il bracciale in lamierino, ma per il resto ottimo rapporto qualit/prezzo. Devo dire ottime proporzioni, un 42mm ma calza molto bene anche sul mio polso da 16,5 cm. Consigliato!
This watch is excellent value – compare it with the high street price of 399 – but, as others have said, the bracelet is terrible. Its the cheapest folded link bracelet you could imagine, no solid links, but it is expandable to fit over a wet suit. My solution was to buy a watch with solid links in the clearance from TKMaxx for 19.99, throw away the watch and just use the bracelet. Its still a bargain.
Une vrai plongeuse prcise lgre bonne visibilit des aiguilles la nuit et le plus le mouvement Miyota 8204 avec le start 0 pour les secondes je ne peux que recommander cette montre qui n’a vraiment pas rougir avec ma seiko sk
Leider ist das gefaltete Stahlarmband wirklich schlecht. Die Art von Armband, die bei Aliexpress fr weniger als 5 Euro zu finden ist. Unwrdig fr eine Marke wie Citizen. Auch hier schneidet Seiko deutlich besser ab, selbst mit seiner Seiko 5-Reihe. Schade, denn dadurch wirkt die ganze Uhr sehr billig. Aber ein Armband ist leicht zu wechseln (Breite 20 mm). Habe also ein gutes Gummi Armband montiert, das letztendlich besser geeignet ist.

… decisamente troppo dura da avvitare/svitare. Se non fosse per questo inconcen sarebbe un orologio da 5 stelle! Rimane un subacqueo iconico, leggendario.
Orologio bello , con cassa e quadrante curati nei dettagli. Ghiera con scatti precisi e senza gioco , fondello e corona a vite danno garanzia per uso in immersione.
Bracciale in acciaio semipieno gradevole anche se un po’ leggerino.
Nel complesso molto riuscito e valido.
Premetto che sono un appassionato di orologi meccanici ed automatici, questo Citizen Promaster con colorazione CocaCola la versione 30esimo anniversario di questo modello, disponibile sul sito europeo della Citizen.
Arriva a casa con la scatola originale senza bombola, evidentemente riservata al solo mercato italiano. Sulla spedizione Amazon non si discute.
Il funzionamento perfetto, riassumo brevemente di seguito.
Pro:
– precisione del meccanismo
– silenziosit di funzionamento
– riserva di carica abbondante
– numeri e lancette davvero molto luminescenti al buio
– vetro eccezionalmente trasparente (sembra che non ci sia)
– design davvero accattivante, bellissimo
– misura del quadrante azzeccata
– impermeabilit totale (l’ho provato a mare)
contro:
– cinturino in acciaio un po’ leggero
– datario piccolissimo, senza lente di ingrandimento
– giorni della settimana a scelta in inglese oppure in tedesco (no italiano)
Acquistato al prezzo scontato di 188 euro, non si pu chiedere di meglio. Citizen un colosso giapponese dell’orologeria, con marchi blasonati nel proprio gruppo come Bulova, questo segnatempo la sintesi di 30 anni di esperienza, a mio parere non si pu trovare niente di meglio in questa fascia di prezzo.
Sono davvero soddisfatto dell’ultimo arrivato e consiglio vivamente l’acquisto.
Watch is everything i expected and more! Came with the 8204 Miyota movement (that hacks) instead of the 8203, also runs -1 sec in a day which is almost perfect. Not the best bracelet but comes with a diver extension, that is unheard in this price point. Overall excellent purchase and would buy it again!
Difetti: bracciale leggero, rumoroso e tira i peli, posizione della corona scomoda per gestire data e ora, vetro zaffiro non presente, indice ore 6 leggermente disallineato di qualche micron sulla corona, confezione non arrivata con famosa bombola gialla ma scatola di cartone Citizen.
Conclusioni: se si cerca orlogio automatico diver 200 metri certificato per uso quotidiano, leggero e affidabile con budget 200 impossibile trovare di meglio.

Cercavo questo modello che fosse dotato del MOV.8204 con hack e solo Amazon me lo garantiva. Il datario Inglese/Tedesco non era un problema cos come la scatola di confezione al posto della bombola gialla (anche perch ne ho gi 3). L’orologio mi arrivato in 24h. Perfettamente imballato,pellicolato e fornito di garanzia ed istruzioni,con tanto di cartellino attestante l’8204 per altro stampigliato sul fondello.Precisissimo come gli altri miei Promaster e di ci non avevo dubbi. Grandi sub testati fino a 500m.dalla Marina Militare. Grazie Amazon.
This is a sporty, agressive-looking watch. It’s a great choice under 200 for people looking for something a bit different in their collection. Great look and finishing, and the bezel action is solid, with spot-on alignment.
Caliber: mine came with the 8204 caliber (as indicated by the hang tag), which means it hacks. That’s awesome, and really delivers even more value for money. If I’m seeing it right, the version with the 8204 caliber comes in a normal watch box, not the plastic oxygen tank that many of these Promasters are delivered in. If this is the tradeoff for hacking, that is MORE than fine with me. So far, I measure +10 seconds a day.
Lume: I read a lot of reviews that the lume on this watch is not “Seiko good,” i.e. somehow a bit below the quality of Lumibrite. I think the lume on the Promaster more than holds its own, period. I LOVE the blue shade on the indices, combined with the green tone on the lume pip. The lume is still legible early in the morning, which for me is the true test of any lume, placing it on the same level as Seiko’s Lumibrite.
Conclusion: If you’re looking for a cool-looking diver that brings something different to your collection, and that won’t break the bank, this watch is definitely worth a look.
– It is a well known brand with good quality, it has decades of proven history and tested by the military (Italian), now it is the updated version (new color designs and movement – depending on which version you get)
– Personally I love the design, it is very comfortable, sits nicely on the wrist, not too tall. It is quite light without the metal bracelet and goes well together with any band type / color
– Crown does not protrude / does not dig into the wrist
– Packaging was OK, nothing special, just a paper box
Mine says movement 8203 on the dial but there was a label in the box that it is in fact the Myota 8204 inside which is also upgraded with hacking -> nice bonus which I did not know when ordering! All the more value for the money!
Lume is great, I can see the time on the dial when I first wake up at 6:00 AM and it is still dark outside. It has blueish color.
Bezel is perfect, has a nice feel to it. I don’t mind that it is only 60 clicks.
The bracelet is nearly impossible to size at home – I am still struggling with it and I am not sure if I will be able to do it without permanently damaging it – probably need to take it to shop. But I am not sure if I will use it anyway 🙂
Based on the first days the watch seems accurate but I can not judge this yet.
All in all – this watch is great for everyday use.
I don’t dive with it – just love the sporty elegant style.
It is a 42mm case diameter so slightly larger than advertised but the crown position compensates for that in my opinion. Overall good size though.
Comfortable enough to wear every day.
Luminosity isn’t as good as Seiko diver’s (for example) but good enough as the time is visible in low light.
I wouldn’t swim with a watch personally so can’t vouch for water resistance.
Glad I bought this and would buy again if need be.
Was ich nicht so toll finde, ist die Verklammerung der Glieder des Metallarmbands. Das Prinzip (den Verriegelungsknopf nach unten und gleichzeitig nach auen drcken) ist zwar klar, aber doch sehr schwer umzusetzen. Doch das ist auch typisch fr Citizen-Uhren. Ich habe die Uhr letztendlich zum Uhrmacher geschafft, obwohl ich sonst die Metallbnder meiner Uhren selbst krze. Selbst der Uhrmacher schaffte es nicht auf Anhieb und ich mute am nchsten Tag nochmal kommen, aber jetzt sitzt die Uhr gut am Arm.
Die Taucherverlngerung des Armbands ist leicht zu bedienen und bei Divern dieser Preisklasse nicht selbstverstndlich.
Unterm Strich erhlt diese Uhr eine Kaufempfehlung.
Nun zur Uhr. Die Uhr war in der schwarzen citizen Box ordnungsgem und sauber verpackt. Die Tauchflasche wird scheinbar willkrlich oder bei gewissen Modellen verwendet als Verpackung. Strt mich ansich nicht. Hab den Koffer meiner moonwatch auch nicht aufgestellt.
Die Uhr selbst ist sauber verarbeitet, besitzt blau leuchtende Markierung und an der Lnette ist die 12 mit grn hinterlegt. ber das Leucht Verhalten hat jeder andere Ansprche. Luminox verwendet eben Radon und das leuchtet eben anders als diese Uhr hier. Ich finds ausreichend soweit ich das bisher beurteilen kann. Die skx von der Konkurrenz ist nen kleinen taken wohl besser. Was solls.
Was allerdings nicht geht, ist das edelstahl armband. Klapprig, Scharf kantig, unbequem und laut. Auerdem reit es mir alle Haare ab am Handgelenk. Wird also ersetzt durch ein wertiges aus dem Zubehr. Aber damit kann ich gut leben. Die Uhr ist im Gesamtpaket ein tolles Teil und fr den Preis eine echte diver mit nen Traktorwerk absolut zu empfehlen.
