Small detail is that the cable management is a challenge

Did expect to find this product for a bargain. I am happy with the purchase.

Well built sturdy case. Great quality in the overall product. Easy to install all internal components. Its not a small light weight toy by any means. But I love it. I am not a fan of RGB LED fans. But I love the ones came with the case.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHi all
I will say first I don’t normally leave reviews as I have been building now for well over 20 years but now and I only build very high end pcs but I think this case needed a review.

    Here we go.
The case it self is a really nice looking case and I don’t build Corsair due to prices but when this come up at a bargain price I thought it was time to give Corsair a go.
This was quiet easy to build at the front with no probs at all but when it come to cable management at the back this was the most challenging case I have ever had so many prob with the cables.

Who ever thought of the Way to set this case up at the back was a good idea was so wrong and prob needs to understand pc building.
The cable cover is way to small for everything that needs fitting unless you leave the case empty just looking good on a computer stand then the cable cover works well.
There is no possible way of have 4 fans the Corsair cpu cooler and 4 Corsair led strips plus all the pc psu cables fit in the cable cover unless your good at magic or even Harry Potter.
Your prob thinking ok leave the cover off that will sort it out, No you do that where the back has glass it looks terrible and most of the time it won’t even shut due to all the wires.
I did read people saying about the commando pro being fitted in a ssd bay which to be honest not many people will fit 3 ssd drives plus m.2 drives not that was not a problem at all.

So anyway you can see in the photos I did manage after a fair few hours to get this all fitted which I had to be mussel man to push that case cover shut and lucky not breaking any wires.
Now it’s all done it does not look bad at all but please if your a new building go for another case to start with or risk stressing out and prob putting a hammer through it.

Well now it’s all done and all the stressing it’s not bad and does look good if I say so myself but please please think before buying.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to build in this case.

    This is Must read review

This is a premium midi case with loads of space for installation of larger components. The case is very well protected for transit and looks and feels high quality when opened. The easy access glass doors are superb and are removable for when building the PC. The case comes with 3 intake lol rgb fans, a fan/rgb commander and a lights controller. I purchased 3 additional fans and the controller lets you coordinate the rgb lighting and fan speeds via a software download. Apart from the high quality and looks I needed a case to accept the huge Noctua D-15 air cooler and this case has plenty of room for that. There are 2 caddy’s for ssd drive and regular hdd mounted on the sides of the case so as not to interrupt air flow. Cable routing is easy as there are plenty of pass through points all protected by grommets. I am really happy with this case and trust that it will last me many years.

I am in awe! This case its amazing! First of all the ventilation is amazing! The 3 fans on the front of the case really do the job of keeping you pc cool!
The case it’s all glass so basically you can see through! There is a lot of space to mount the radiator on the top of the case and to unleash your creativity with leds and light! It’s a bit expensive but it is worth all the money you spend.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am in awe! The best mid tower ever!

Great case, managed to fit a 240mm rad on top and a 360mm rad in the front for a custom loop, it’s tight!
Was expensive and I think I would go for a case with no fans next time as the supplied LL120 fans look great but are not very good for radiator cooling (I assume they are ok for air cooling) I have replaced with ML ones which are better.
The cable management is tight in the back of the case and why the back side is glass I have no idea!

    Great case - expensive though

It’s a nice case for my atx build. It looks fancy and it’s pretty lightweight. The two panels make it easy to work on the pc and the dust filters being so easily removable is also nice to have

Easily the best looking PC case for RGB build available, however back panel is hard to keep proper cable management due to small amount of room. Doors are magnetic closing though so it should seal tightly. PSA – motherboard scews for the case are inside cardboard box inside the back panel!

I really like this case, I always had problem with heating with my cases so i would often remove side panels but this case does wonders keeping temperature low even for amd processors.

I got this case as an upgrade from a lower end (much smaller) corsair 220T which made my system appear more cramped than I was comfortable with. The price for this case is fairly high but I was able to justify this through the inclusion of 3 LL120 RGB fans, a commander pro and an RGB hub – the cost of buying all these items, which I required anyway, individually would set me back over 100 on top of the cost of a new case.

There are many positives I found when working in this case, it’s larger size made it much easier to actually build in as well as having well thought through and convenient mounting mechanisms for radiators on the top and front of the case. This made mounting my 240mm radiator to the top of my case quick and convenient for someone building alone. The case itself feels to be made out of high quality materials and seems to be robust. Aesthetically, the case looks great. The LL120’s look far better than the SP120’s usually provided in corsairs lower end cases. The hard drive bays are easy to get to and remove as well as there being plenty of slots for SSD’s too. I also found the magnetic front panel to be extremely convenient. It also has magnetic dust filters on the front and top which are a great touch that makes cleaning easy.

I did encounter some negatives while building, mostly centred around the magnetic closure of the back panel. Cable management in this case isn’t the easiest thing but was still much easier than in my old 220T, the thick power supply cables have to be managed well to not cause the back panel to be prevented from closing and even after trying a few different things I wasn’t able to close it securely enough for my liking. It was an issue easily fixed through the use of some provided 3M glue stuff (as long as you aren’t intending to open your back panel up frequently of course). right angled SATA cables are also interesting to work with in this case.

Overall this is a great case with plenty of room should you need it for water cooling. if you are willing to part with the higher cost of this case I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome case. As an entry level PC tinkerer this was so easy to work in, the cable management can be troublesome as the tempered glass door on that side will pop open if any cable weight is against it but once you sort it out it’s fine.

    Came with:
    X3 Corsair LL120 RGB pre-preinstalled.
    Lighting Node Pro.
    ICUE Commander Pro.
Front, top and bottom removable, mesh dust guards.
Lower PSU shroud with asy access via cable managed side.

You will need to buy rear and top fans separately, these click into the Commander Pro (with some cable manoeuvring) and are picked up via the iCUE software immediately.

There is an option for vertical GPU mounting.

The LL120 fans create an excellent blast of cold air over your components, I chucked a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro in there too and my temps are frosty.

Overall, looks great, loads of customization room and great airflow.

The two tempered glass side panels look amazing with RGB.

This case is just brilliant. The tempered glass panels are fantastic, although the one at the back really isn’t needed but it hides your cable management well enough. It is so easy to build in, really spacious and so easy to cable manage. Plenty of space for a push/pull configuration with a 360mm rad at the front and i couldn’t be happier with it. Great value for money as it comes with the commander pro and rgb fan hub already, making it super easy to add more case fans into the Corsair ecosystem. iCue software works brilliantly with this case.

    I love this case

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhat a sight to behold when it’s all built and functional. It’s really spacious and easy to find your way around. Both side panels swing open, and can also be removed by unscrewing a screw in the hinge. It’s quite heavy, but I don’t see that as a bad thing since I don’t move my PC much, only for cleaning every month. It comes with a Commander Pro, RGB hub, and 3 LL120’s, which is a great deal considering the fans alone are upwards of 60.

I had one small issue. I bought a H150i to go with this case. I installed the radiator at the front of the case, making use of the 3 LL120 RGB fans included with the case. It was fairly straight forward, however when the time came to route the wires on the other side of the case, the large bracket that is used to hide the majority of the wires no longer fit due to the excessive space the wires took up to hook everything up. While this isnt a huge concern, mainly because you can barely see through the glass anyway, it was a little disheartening to not have everything assembled properly. I wouldnt put this down to the case though, I definitely could have routed them a different way or took more care when saving space, but as it stands everything works and is stable so thats how its staying.

TL;DR – It’s good, you should definitely buy it if you can afford it and want a premium case.

Corsair really know how to make premium cases, not cheap but it looks stunning and makes builds much easier with cable routing holes and brackets, also has 3 included fans for the front.

    Would recommend

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great case i had the 570x and upgraded to this mainly fot the doors that open which makes doing anything inside easy to do being upgrades or just a clean.Yes theres cheaper cases out there but if you look at the cost of a pack of 3 ll120 fans and a commander pro it makes the case a good price in total.Very easy to work in and fit your bits long as you do good cables in the back all should be fine. The glass lifts off with 1 screw to undo so its easy to clean and looks great with the lights. The ll lights mainly put light out not into the case so if you wanted the full rgb led both ways it might be better to upgrade the fans to the newer ql models. All in all i think it is a worthwhile look at if your looking for a new build case yes you pay a little more but corsair are great with the warrenty if it needed to be used within the 2 year time.Going to get a 1000d next now they are on offer as it will take e a lot more drives. No 5.25 bay for a dvd writer but external ones are cheap enough these days and this has the more modem look .

This is a very nice looking black tempered glass case, that looks very sleek and high quality – once you turn out the disco lighting.

Bit of a shame there’s not a tempered glass version without the added cost of the garish rgb fans nonsense, although the fans are good quality and very quiet.

Also, i found it a little tight to build in, particularly the cable management round the back and around the psu shroud, to plug in connectors to the psu i had to unscrew it from the case.

Lastly, the magnetic dust filters are excellent. Easy to remove and clean, and keep the inside of the case spotless, and that’s with a cat who likes to sit on the pc!

Lovely case.... once you turn out the lights

One draw back is that there is no rear exhaust fan. Adding one helped keep my CPU cooler.

Great case with great RGB fans, looks really good once you have everything installed, cable management is good but didn’t have a little trouble getting back panel to close at first as only about and inch or so of space and the back panel is magnetic so can’t just crush it down and slide case panel back on. Overall though a quality built case and the commander pro and light node make connecting RGB fans super easy and customisable.

I personally had to make a couple of slots to get sime cables seated better but all in all im pleased with it and the mods look fine

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was looking for a case that would look as good in the living room alongside the HiFi as it would as a gaming PC. This definitely fits the bill. With all the lights turned off inside, it looks like a shiny piece of hifi furniture with mirrored glass sides (wife-friendly). Press a few buttons in iCue and it looks like the gaming beast it is 🙂 I’ll post a few photos once I get the last few bits of LED bling that I need to complete the case. FWIW: Nice roomy case that is easy to build within and keeps all my components nice and cool.

UPDATE: I’ve had this for a while now and I must say it is getting better by the day. It’s a very high quality case (all edges extremely smooth). The side opening doors make it a dream to work with … easily accessible components that you can upgrade quickly. Having spent a little while getting the cable management right I find that everything is almost plug and play. Add to that things like magnetically connected dust filters. I highly recommend this case as a quality piece of engineering.

    Just what I wanted

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI’d have given this a 9 out of 10 but 4 out of 5 stars will have to suffice.

    Positives:

Looks fantastic, I added an extra fan and some light strips and it all looks great with the smoked tempered glass. The glass makes it a very sleek looking case and I love the lighting effects that are manageable via the iCue software. If you’re a fan of RGB this case will not disappoint.

Plenty of space in the main chamber, I would like to fit a custom water cooling loop at some point and after watching plenty of videos this seemed like the best choice for me, especially as I’m interested in Corsair’s Hydro X and keeping all the lights in the case in sync via one piece of software was the preference.

It comes included with the Commander Pro and 3 LL120 fans, when you price those on their own they come to about 130.

Very well made case, the quality of materials and build is immediately apparent.

    Could have done better:

I’d have loved to have seen them make this case a few centre meters wider as the rear cavity for cable management is a bit on the shallow side, especially with all the drive bays being on the rear. I swapped from a HAFX-M which was only slightly wider than this but had so much more room to work with for keeping cables tidy and closing the opposite panel.

The metal cover to go over the cables could have been a bit wider, also it only has one cut out for cables on the left hand side, would have preferred to see 2-3 giving more options.

The tape the Commander Pro is held onto the case with is insane and an absolute pain to get off. Decided I was going to drop to one HDD and keep all 3 SSDs from my build and the Commander Pro was stuck to one of the 2.5inch drive bays (at least it wasn’t the door like some users have reported), and took me ages to remove. Had to resort to a knife and a hairdryer to get it off in the end. They do provide more double sided tape but I already had some strong velcro tape so opted to use that for easier removal in the future.

    Tips:

Tip one – Don’t use right angles SATA cables. After I finally got the cable management to the point where I could shut the door, I managed to break the SATA plug connected to my HDD. Removed and used a straight one and had no issues.

Tip two: Get a modular PSU. I had a non modular and put the unused cables in the cavity in front of the PSU but that did not give me the space to get the other cables where I needed them so bought a HX580i.

Fantastic looking case, cable management a bit tricky though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst things first this case loses a star simply because a witless oaf had the idea to stick the commander/node pro down inside the case with 3m foam, although they were in sensible places I unfortunately don’t have a sensible pc, with 3 ssds I wanted all three caddy’s available with good cable routing options which is impossible with the current placement in the case meaning hours spent trying to remove the devices without destroying the case paint or breaking the admittedly flimsy feeling devices, the case also came in a sorry state with piercings all over the thin films applied to the glass panels, luckily no damaged glass but you may not be so lucky. However the case itself is excellent great build quality and price (183) when you think about everything included the fact it looks great is a bonus. Shipping was timley as usual with Amazon prime.

    Great case awful shipping standards.

But I am loving that beautiful Case

This is a really well thought out case it has every feature youy could imagine you would need, however I found trying to squeeze my Corsair HX1200i power supply into its shroud a bit of a squeeze. An extra 3-5 cm of room all the way round would have been ideal. Please keep in mind this is a huge power supply though. lol.
Also upon looking on the corsair website, there is a full inventory of pretty much every single part of this case should you lose or damage any of it. The dust filters work brilliantly, no more cleaning inside the case for me.
    Highly Recomended.

The fans are well renowned for being some of the best RGB fans on the market (if a tad expensive) but what you’re getting value wise from a full metal and glass case, with 120 of RGB fans and the connectors/hubs included, you really can’t argue at the price if it is within your range.

Cooling inside the case is great, always feels cool whenever I stick my hand in randomly, even under extensive high load.

Can’t fault the case! It’s heavy, but that’s because it’s quality!

This case is identical to the 500D standard apart from some extra features involving the inclusion of a Commander Pro, 3 ll120 RGB Fans as well as the controller for said fans and a tempered glass front panel.

A word of warning, however, the adhesive on the front glass panel is Very Weak. The adhesive on my case at the bottom seemed to be nearly nonexistent, there was little there, to begin with, and you could easily manipulate the front panel. this, however, can easily be fixed with a small adhesive pad which is what I used and the front panel now stays there securely.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood looking and functional case, my only problem with this is the cable management compartment. The cable management compartment will be a pain to close unless you remove all your hard drives. The drives themselves need to come in in a certain order as if not you will find it hard to screw it in.

Once you finish the assembly however, the case looks really well specially with some light inside the case.

Big and spacious, water cooling is great, removable dust filter is a plus,

Space for three 2.5″ and two 3.5″ drives.
space for six 120mm fans, 3 front, 2 top, 1 back or for 140 (front and top) and one 120 at back. all will fit both fans and radiators
