Great setup. Modular and plenty of room to run a clean setup. Air flow with a 360 top mounted AIO cooler is among the best I’ve used and despite the glass covers on the top and front wedging airflow to the sides, airflow is still excellent.

Single downside: I was able to vertical mount a 2080 ti which was awesome. Looked good and helped with the cooling on that older card. Recently replaced with a 4080 Super and this card will not mount vertically. Not a huge deal but this was one of the main reasons for getting a full size tower at this price point. iCue RGB controller and fans are top notch.

Arrived next day shipping. Shipping box was a little worn but upon opening product it was in perfect condition. Many different fan options to choose from and plenty of room for everything. Easy to work inside of case during parts installation. Only minor drawback was moving the front 3 140mm fans to the top. Fan cables were routed through the partition to divert air over mobo. Had to cut a zip tie that was difficult to reach to remove fans and then secure cables again. Bigger and more detailed instructions would be helpful to a beginner on how to disassemble the parts in the case. Would like to have had covers for some of the larger openings on the cable side of the case with rubber grommets like the other cable routing holes. Corsair needs to put out a very easy and descriptive chart regarding Commander daisy chains for multiple fans. 15 fans installed and was a bit of a guessing game on how to set up for power/rgb. Overall very happy with aesthetics, quality of build, ease of access and large door panel removal/installation. Case keeps temps about 5-7c cooler than previous Lian Li 216 mid tower. Definitely recommend.

The case is super nice! Lots of room. Good cable management ( wish there was a little more room in the back for your cables my case came and the hinges for the doors are defective. This case is very heavy empty. So once full (be ready to work your muscles). White looks amazing with all the rgb! Would highly recommend if your wanting to expand your PC and also get the maximum air flow.

If you’re building your first computer or maybe your second I would recommend this one for one reason and one reason only. SPACE! This thing is massive, huge, gigantic!
Lots of space for putting your components in and also lots of space on the side for beginner cable management. You will not run out of space, can handle my threadripper and dual 4090’s while still having space to put an entire custom loop in with a over sized tank.

Only negative I can come up with is the width of the wire management area! No idea why there was not made deeper to help with tiding up the wiring

Gengend Platz fr alles, was eingebaut werden muss.
Mehr gibt’s fast nur im D1000 welcher aber auch das doppelte kostet.
Dieser hier ist schon sehr gro also braucht er unterm Schreibtisch viel Platz um nach oben und hinten abzulften.
    Waks sind hier kein Problem.

Lots of glass! The only issue i have with the case is why they didn’t make it 1 inch wider. The side where the wiring is tucked is way too cramped, and that door, wth were they thinking? anyhoot.. it looks expensive, and it’s quite a visual masterpiece.

Drive cage is rather wobbly, and since since this is a case for big hardware you’d think they’d design the PSU space to be able to take big PSU without having to remove drive cages, for the price this few thing should not have been an issue but not bad after all.

I wish I had of made the switch to corsair gear years ago…..
This case has made my life so much easier for my latest build.
There’s like a small apartments worth of room inside for all sorts of activities…
If ya wanna do a water loop I’d recommend this case to build in.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of the 5 is they don’t supply a riser cable for the gpu.
The corsair one bought separately is about 16.3 miles long and other suppliers cables don’t align with the corsair cases mounting holes.
    My search continues…
Other than that a mint case…

Case is nice one. Actually in this set you get good deal. 4 140mm RGB fans and command controler which cost quite a lot.
This case looks way better than airflow but is a bit on loud side and warm inside.
It’s easy to fit all things in there, but in the other side, cable management is quite hard to manage if you don’t take out little metal doors.

It has lots of room for all types of new pc parts (especially the new graphics cards that are getting bigger and bigger) The only thing that I would mention (that wasn’t and issue for me) make sure you have lots of room for this case because it is very big. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst of all, great looking case.
Nothing to assemble but trying to take off the cable cover was a bit trying on patience as well as the PSU shroud extension cover (the two plastic tabs underneath can be a pain to unhook).
Putting in an AIO radiator was a breeze with the removable top.

I didn’t notice on installing my E-ATX board that it covers up the rubber cable routing holes.(pix)
I don’t understand why, if this case can accommodate this type of board, it doesn’t provide another routing solution if wanting to use fans on the side of the case(without the cable cover).

I will have to Dremel out at least two rectangular holes in the small gap between the fans and where the case backing is in order to have any type of clean cable routing.

The ATX power cable should be easy enough to route this way but the 2 USB and 1 USB-C cables will have to bend quite a bit in order to do what I want.
I don’t think angled cables will work unless they extend out a bit from the board.
Maybe the right third party extensions will do the trick.

Other than that gripe, beautiful looking case.

    EDIT
    After Dremeling.
I fixed the straightness of the black and red cables later(pic).

    E-ATX users beware

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirstly, pictures do not do this case justice, it is very sleek/modern looking. It is big but most looking at this case will see that as a plus, just make sure you mock it up in it’s intended location before buying so you have an idea how much room it is going to take up. Highly recommend this case for those doing a mainly Corsair build or a custom water cooling build. Right now Corsair is nailing it with the controlling of RGB if and it’s a big if, you buy all Corsair compatible RGB components. I went with a 12 QL series fan configuration and some extra RGB strips (LS-100 X2), I got two of the starter kits because they went on sale at 50% off during the holidays. So with 12 fans, 2 X LS100 kits, and AIO I went with two Commander XT’s for controllers and works great.

C’ poco da dire, bisogna tenere il case davanti ai propri occhi per gustarne la bellezza, la grandezza, la sua possenza.
Dopo aver preso questo case non ci saranno altri dopo, non c’ di meglio in tutto, veramente fatto bene.

I’m not a pro builder by any stretch but out of all the corsair cases I have built in I had most fun with this. The only thing that really annoyed me was the side radiator mount would only hold 120mm fans which would spoil the aesthetic of all 140mm. So had to cable tie the side fans in place. Otherwise amazing, airflow is great plenty of space to build in, even makes my 3090ti look small!

Heavy but a pure joy to build i

  32. KayleigSkertchl says:

This case has BAGS of room in the main compartment, so much so that a typical ATX build might feel too small. Plenty of space for custom water cooling loops and / or custom pc mods like stat panels and such. This part was a dream to build in.

The rear of the case, not so much. The cable management is very tight and with 10+ rgb fans, there’s A LOT of management to do. This compartment could have done with being even 1cm deeper, it would have helped dramatically. That being said, after spending some time planning out, grouping and routing cables, it’s done the job and has multiple routing channels built in to the chassis, complete with velcro cable ties in the main channel.

The included fans are pretty good, nice RGB and fairly quiet on low RPM but capable of pushing a lot of air through the case. The Commander Core XT that was included was also a nice touch, and coupled with the Commander Core that came with my h170i AIO cooler, allowed me to install 11 RGB fans in the case with a port for a 12th fan if desired.

The tempered glass appears to be tinted but once the RGB is shining, it looks incredible. I find myself zoning out and staring at the internals often. All 3 of the tempered glass panels are magnetic and easily removable if necessary.

My only complaint is that, being a full tower case, laden with steel back panel, the thing is heavy. The box it arrives in warns that it requires two people to lift and carry – though this will depend on how strong you are. I was able to carry it in by myself, but absolutely appreciated assistance carrying it up a flight of stairs.

It’s also worth noting that the case is not exactly cheap compared to competitor cases – this case comes with a hefty price tag. If money isn’t a concern, or you can pick it up on a good discount, that would be the time to do it. I got mine on a discount and I don’t regret it whatsoever.

If you plan on frequently moving the system once it’s built, perhaps this is not the case for you. However, if the system won’t be moving all that much once assembled, I highly recommend this case for a full tower choice. It was by far the best case I’ve built in to date, even with the slightly awkward cable management in the back.

  33. KathieFroude says:

     United Kingdom

Easy to assemble, very intuitive. Beautiful and solid. Wires that came with the case (for power button/front usb, etc) came cable-managed within the case. The only thing to watch out for is that you will have to move one of the HDD towers out or away from underneath the case as it won’t give you enough space in the back or under for the cables of the PSU and others. The back end hidden away is surprisingly tighter than expected. All in all, great case and as someone who doesn’t need another stack of HDDs, it worked out fine with me. Those that will need the extra HDD tower will have to place it on top of the other HDD tower instead.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCase full tower molto spazioso, vuoto pesa attorno ai 20 kg.

    Allego foto e video.

Really enjoyed building my gaming PC using this case. The only gripe was that if you fully populate it with fans the main RGB hub doesn’t have enough ports. Also would have been useful to have more tie-off points for cable clips in the wiring bay as you can end up with a lot of RGB cables and it’s not easy to make them tidy.
Otherwise I love this case, It looks amazing.

The amount of room they left for cables is ******* ridiculous. The back keeps popping off and won’t click shut. Considering this thing can hold 11 fans you would of thought they would make more room for cables.

Had to get a bigger case when I upgrade to a XFX 6800XT as it barely fit into my older Corsair case, plus the thermals were horrid. It is a big case, but ok for my space. Attached photo shows the comparison to my previous. Whilst not my initial first choice, I couldn’t be happier with it and glad I got this one. Big pros are the 140mm rgb fans (though I did add 2 more 120s to aid the cooling) the included Corsair commander, the huge amount of space, the cable management and the ability for future expansion. Only drawback is the weight I’d say. This thing is heavy, especially once fully built, but not really an issue as who typically regularly moves their PC any great distance anyway? Solid build and well thought through IMO.

You’re gonna need a bigger case

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ll keep this short as we all know people don’t want to read an essay in Amazon reviews, you just want to know if the product is worth buying or not before moving on, and that’s fair enough, we all have time limits in our day.

This is a pretty good damn case, although to be fair it better be for the price. As per usual if you’re buying Corsair anything its probably costing you extra to get the quality product and all, so if you’re looking to save a bit of money somewhere in your build budget you might want to consider looking elsewhere. If you want a top tier case though, this is a pretty damn solid place to start from.

The fans as shown are all already pre-wired and the wires are setup cleanly behind the back panel which is concealed by an internal door inside the main outer layer of the case. You might need to re-arrange some of the portions of that back panel if you add say, another large cooling system such as a water cooling setup with 3 fans, as the inbuilt corsair commander or whatever it is called for this model only had 6 total slots, and 4 will be occupied with the default setup of the case.

Wiring up the motherboard can be difficult if you have a lot of parts, as the back area where the PSU goes isn’t the best for total free space, but the case looks incredibly neat when you’re done, which is the end goal you probably want if you’re looking for a case at this price.

It is in a pretty big box for delivery, and it will be marked as heavy. Personally I had no issues moving it around but that doesn’t mean it’ll be the same for you, I know the guy doing delivery didn’t want to handle it alone so it might be a piece you’ll want a friend or family member around to help manouever into position if you’re not so confident in strength or the like.

If you’re comfortable with the idea of potentially paying this much for a case, I do think its worth it – but if you’re trying to find places in your system to save money, the case is one of the few areas you can do so without an immediate performance dropoff (though an inferior case setup might result in worse thermals)

  44. Anonymous says:

Great case from Corsair, the 7000X. Similar to the 5000X, but with 140mm fans rather than 120mm ones. You do pay a premium for that though, almost double the cost! Recommended if you want a build that has both good airflow with TG panels to also show off your RGB build.
