Can be used on Dell desktop PC
Bought a refurbished docking station for my Dell 3891 desktop PC which had only 1 HDMI port for 4K , its working perfectly after I realised I had to download the software for it (available at Dell), lucky the latest version fixed a no display bug for the two Dell S2721DS 4K monitors I am using, you also have to keep one of the HDMI cables connected to the PC for the monitors to display.

This product has a very high quality, sturdy feel to it. The primary requirement for this purchase was to attach dual monitors to my laptop which does not have a USB C socket. The item is supplied with the cables for the USB A connection and the set-up is very straightforward. It took only a few minutes to have everything functioning properly. The item is exceptionally securely packaged, which is an indication of the high quality of the product. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Excellent product and selle
Very nice quality product from Dell which has enabled me to seamlessly switch my twin HD screens, webcam, keyboard& mouse and stereo speakers between a Microsoft laptop and Lenovo desktop. I could find no definitive statement over whether this would be possible so this purchase was a bit of a gamble but I can confirm now that it works entirely as hoped. Very pleased with this purchase
Good product, simple to setup
Just be aware as the item I bought only include the Dock. None of the ancillaries needed to use were included, so needed to buy separately, bumping up cost.

Great second hand buy, provided you read the details ahead of time and knew the limitations. Item in tip top condition, easy as pie to install and working fine. It came quickly and well packed… what more can you want?
Good quality
This docking station is expensive but it is worth it. It has every port you need.
Easy to set up, uses usb to connect and works well but does not charge the laptop so you need to plug it in as well.
Bought to upgrade my home office and connect multiple displays. Came in very good package with easy to understand instructions although I didn’t use them as the installation process is very easy and not much you can do wrong honestly.
The only drawback is that it doesn’t charge the laptop which for the money I paid i would expect to have this feature.
Nevertheless its a good product, just be aware if you are looking to charge the laptop you may be disappointed.
Also it will be nice if in the product description is explained it does not have the functionality to charge the laptop.

Took a bit of effort but found the software and drivers online without having to somehow use the DVD's/CD's that came with it. If you've got a DVD/CD player then no problem.

Works with 14 inch M1 Macbook Pro
Works perfectly on my M1 Macbook, you just have to install DisplayLink and give it permission to record your screen. I did replace the cable it came with and got a USB C to B cable, so I didn’t need to use any adapters. The dock even worked with my Samsung S21 Ultra.
PS: This dock does not charge your device.
Great cross platform dock
So far so good, I have both a Macbook Pro and Dell XPS 13 for work. I needed an easy way to switch dual monitors, peripherals etc between the two.
For Windows, quick Display Link driver install from Dell and everything was tickety boo.
On MacOS, it needs a bit of tinkering. Display Link driver install, and the application “Amphetamine” was needed for it to work with the lid closed (“clamshell” mode). Display Link devices don’t work with some Macs when the lid is closed, so the additional “Amphetamine” app prevents the screen from turning off when used in this way.
Everything’s working great though, very happy.

I have two monitors hooked up via hdmi and still have a display port input where I can add a third if I want. I replaced my hub with this as well and gained back a USB port in the process. Decent quality dock
Just works added in the display link driver and all was good, throughput on the network interface lost it a star though 230 mb/sec on 10gbe backbone slightly disappointing as the wifi is faste
If u want to keep ur desk clean this is the one to go for. Just connect all devices to this hub down below and u just have one usb cane going to ur laptop

Einfach klasse
Suchte eine Docking Station fr einen Laptop fr 2 Bildschirme. Megageiles Teil, inkl. Netzwerkanschluss. D. h., 2x HDMI Bildschirme, externe Festplatte, Funksender der Tastatur und Maus, alles in der Station und nur noch 1x USB zum Rechner und es luft. Schnell und ohne Verzgerungen. Einfach klasse. Und an der Frontseite zustzlich 2x USB fr den ein oder anderen Gebrauch (z. B. Stick). Allerdings auch hochpreisig. hnliche Stationen mit 1x HDMI und 1x DVI Bildschirmausgang fr den halben Preis.
Also, selber entscheiden, was man braucht. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und habe den Kauf bisher nicht bereut.
Excellent produit qui permet le dport des crans mai aussi des ports USB.
Fonctionne trs bien avec un poste Windows.
Disposant aussi d’un Mac, il faut tlcharger deux applications pour utiliser pleinement le botier:
– Displaylink pour le dport d’cran
– Amphetamine pour utiliser l’ordinateur avec le capot ferm et donc viter que ce dernier se mette en veille.
Pour info: sur l’outil amphetamine, si il apparat en langue Chinoise aprs l’installation, il faut modifier les paramtres de prise en charge des langues pour les applis dans les paramtres gnraux IOS du Mac.

El docking funciona bien, lo he probado tanto en Windows 10,11 como en Mac OS, es necesario descargar un driver en ambos sistemas operativos. El punto negativo que le doy es en cuanto al consumo de batera, que este sube muchsimo sobre todo en Mac y que el precio pudiera ser mejor. Por todo lo dems cumple su funcin cuenta con mltiples salidas usb, hdmi, ethernet, display Port y auxilia
Struggled to work properly with my work Dell laptop
I had a job earlier this year where they provided me with a Dell laptop. Ironically, this Dell dock did not like that Dell laptop. The wireless mouse connected to this hub was slow and not very responsive. The screens go missing frequently. It was not easy to get it to work consistently.
I had a far more pleasant experience with a MacBook Pro but I needed to get an adaptor to convert the USB A to USB C.
