Its really easy to use.
Surprisingly not a lot of effort is needed to use it either.
No instructions included but then if you need them, don’t buy this tool… Lol
It comes with tones of eyelets so you’ll have plenty to play with whilst leaning how to use it.
I needed this so I could make classic car carpet samples for some of my trader clients.
I laser cut them out with a 6mm hole, and then pressed in the ring. so simple and quick and looks professional to boot.
Would I buy again? Yes but as such little pressure is needed I may opt for a hand held one, but now I have this I don’t think it will need replacing for years.
The cutting dies didn’t cut carpet but I didn’t expect it to knowing my carpets backing construction but it cut cloth, card and even some thin plastics, so all is good.
Gets 5 starts coz it does exactly what I wanted it to do and it does it well.

Love using these machines for Grommets & Eyelets. This one is a pretty blue. For me, I get much better & consistent results with this type of machine as oppose to the plyers or the kits that come with eye/grommet setting tools with which you use a hammer. I am a hobby sewist, so probably don’t use the machine as much as someone who has a home business, but for me it was still a good investment. Just want you to be aware that the hole punch is the sort of punch that pushes a hole in your material (see image with circle round the description), as oppose to a hole cutting die. Either way on dress/craft/woven fabric, both tend to be more efficient with just one layer.
Good press, which also works with press stud / snap dies which i bought off if aliexpress, and it leaves a good finish too far better than those free hand dies which come with some sets
Wanted to use for banner eyelets but can not punch and eyelet at the same time, however if you punch the hole then apply the eyelet it works just fine no problems. These eyelets are not magnetic, it could be the hole punch that isn’t, which is what we were using but because you punch the hole and then apply it doesn’t matter.
Just received this, so pleased I paid extra for the larger stand up version rather than the hand held ones much easier on the hands. Do watch the video that’s on the item description as no instructions in the box. I also liked the choice of 3 x grommet sizes which makes it very good value
Just what I needed as was getting daft trying to use the little tools you get with the other grommets. This makes life soooo much easier.
So much easier than the manual method of punch and hammer. Works every time. Easy to use. No pressure needed.
