Ideal for my need to protect the floor of the back of my van. Fits between the rear wheel arches of a VW T5 combi perfectly.

You can’t expect it to be as good as the mats in a gym but its a decent substitute for your home or garage. Comfortable to stand on, easy to assemble, durable enough so far.

More than thick enough and does not break easy, used for gym and baby area.

Wouldn’t put anything heavy on it for long periods of time as this may encourage them to rip or get holes in them but other than that they’re very good wouldn’t use for gym equipment as I think that would be too heavy and you’d just end up with uneven equipment good for just plain flooring when not wanting to walk straight on the gravel or to hold a hot tub overall okay can’t expect much more for this type of material

I used two tiles which, having cut them to shape with a knife, I glued to the underside of a square metre of 25 mm plywood to be used as a tap dance practice board by one of my granddaughters. The foam mat tiles are of an appropriate consistency to give sufficient resistance to impact so as to provide comfort and protection to knee and ankle joints when the the board is being danced upon. Delivery was quicker than I anticipated and I am absolutely delighted with the transaction.

Arrived promptly and were easy to put together. Not had long enough to test durability as they are just foamed rubber and may not wear that well. Time will tell.

Couldn’t make all the squares fit together perfectly after buying 12 squares. 3 packs. But they fit well enough to be used under hot tub. You would maybe need to do a small bit of trimming if you were using these to walk or workout on. If you only use 4 at a time they fit together as intended.

I have been using these a small home gym for a few months. verdict:
I think they have a good feel underfoot and good for people training with lower weights.
I would only recommend these if your barbell weight is below 60kg. If you are going between 60kg-100kg you will quickly and permanently scar the mats more with each workout. You could use 2 layers of mats, but then that’s getting really expensive and you might be better off with harder more substantial mats.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought these for my 4 man hot tub the gazebo base is 8ft x 8ft initially bought 3 packs which was enough for the tub but bought extra pack to cover rest of floor, so easy to fix together and cut I never write reviews but had to with these I would 100% recommend they maybe a little more expensive but you won’t be disappointed hope this helps a+++++++

I bought these foam mats in lockdown to protect my conservatory floor as I changed it into a workout zone. They are easy to assemble and are just the right thickness. Very good price. Quick delivery. Works a treat.

Used this outside under a hot tub. Needed 3 packs so was expensive but it is a quality product and gives good cushioning on an uneven patio area. Looks to be durable, better than kids play mat as this is 2cm thick. Is also easy to cut if you need to fit whole area.

These mats are lighter than the thinner ones I had used but are easy to assemble, more comfortable to use and as I store them on their side are more stable and don’t bend as the thinner ones had done over time.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThese are extra thick compared to all the other tiles I looked at. They were also a good size abs interlocked well.

I bought 2 packs to go under a 4 person hot tub.

Note that if you want to happy to leave your “tiles” intact and visible, this won’t be enough!

I’d go for 3 packs in those circumstances and you could use the extra tiles to add a bit more cushioned space round the tub.

They look very smart and are slightly ridged which would make them good for being round a pool. I can see they’d look great for a gym environment.

But we wanted to trim the (square) mat so it wasn’t visible under the (round) hot tub. So we simply cut one tile in half diagonally and that made 2 packs sufficient.

We then trimmed around the edge to make it circular, like the tub. If you want to take this approach then bear in mind that these are lovely and thick. Normal kitchen scissors will struggle.

Once under the hot tub, these tiles were perfect. The extra thickness provides extra insulation and comfort while protecting the base of the tub.

Very happy! And I think they are well worth the little extra for the thickness.

Ideal for exercise and resting apparatus on. Was originally very annoyed with Hermes as they did not deliver despite timeslot allocated and being a Prime customer which I found difficult to accept. Apologies to seller not their fault and the product is qualitative and will purchase again.

Definitely worth the extra money. Bought 12 and works out perfectly 3×4 (so 180cm x 240cm). Recommend purchasing a non-slip roll to go underneath as mine is on a hardwood floor. Delivered super quick; very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is quite good. I use half of mine (two joined sections) outdoors for skipping/jumping rope on. It noticeably reduces impact on shins, knees and hip joints. Jumping direct on a hard surface cause my joints to ache pretty quickly, but using this mat slows the onset of achy joints. It is lightweight and easy to store. After daily use for a couple of weeks I am yet to see any wear at all. I recommend it for jumping rope or any other activity that requires a reduction in impact on joints. Worth the money.

Really love this product. Originally ordered two packs but then sent for a third pack so check the measurements of the area you wish to cover carefully. Very thick with good cushioning. It has made it much more comfortable to work out in the garage.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersWe used these for underneath an inflatable hot-tub, and now it is getting colder, it makes all the difference.
Before we put these down, the bottom of the hot tub would be cold to sit on, but now this isn’t a problem.
It has also made the bottom of the hot tub more comfortable to stand and sit on.
Getting out is also more comfortable as you don’t need to step out onto cold patio.

We opted for these over thinner ones, which I’m sure would be okay, but I’m always happy that we went for the thicker ones.

    Great inflatable hot-tub base

Unusual application! We have a cube garden furniture and as the glass is recessed on the table the waterproof cover collected pools.
4 of these tiles is the perfect fit for the perimeter of the table. Made up the recess between the glass and the tiles with redundant polystyrene packaging and we had the perfect base for our waterproof cover. Slight slope on the patio and the rain water drains away nicely. Problem solved!

Working well so far. I use it on the grass to skip. My weight is actually creating a dent in the soil but at least the grass isn’t getting ruined by the skipping rope

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this matting for under my treadmill. Really easy to assemble and don’t unlock too easily when moving around which is good. Quality is surprisingly good for this price range and dampens noise and vibration under our treadmill. Wouldnt hesitate in buying more for indoor gym use for something to drop weights on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good for this price range

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersWow!! Brilliant mats. Ok they’re dearer than their 10 mm cousins but holy cow does that extra 10mm make a huge difference. They have great shock absorption qualities and are really sturdy. I do Les Mills Grit workouts on these every morning as well as yoga. Really comfortable and stable- your feet don’t sink into them like some mats. I bought 4 packs but think I need another 1. Really easy to assemble (approx 30 mins) and don’t move when you exercise. Some people have commented that other tiles have a strong chemical smell but I can confirm that there’s absolutely no smell from these ones. Thoroughly recommend these.

Good quality product. Thick enough to cushion when exercising. Fits easily together, can be dismantled just as quickly and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break when doing so. I don’t have the space for it to be a permanent fixture so for me this is a plus. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is far better than I thought it would be and those extra 4mm more than other designs are well worth it. Can now work out bare foot which I had hoped for. But best of all I can even do burpees and the impact of landing on my feet after the jump is also padded enough. EXPENSIVE yes but really worth it for working out on.
