It works like you would expect it to. I’ve had great success with Elgato hardware, even if it is a Corsair product, which seems to have gotten “cheaper”.

Able to connect my Nikon Z7ii for streaming via HDMI mini to HDMI.

Really great streaming tool; connects and displays Consoles and DSLR cameras with ease and in excellent video quality. Easy to set up and use. Comparing cost, quality, and design to other similar devices, you’re getting the most for you dollar here.

wow In super impressed with this card . I was struggling with my live stream @MyRClive in you tube . because I use multiple cameras and was trying to use USB hdmi cards and they kept conflicting with one another. with this card I get four individual HDMI inputs!

I bought this to use at my church for our live stream. We have three cameras and one computer. While the unit was easily installed, I have had some issues. Very occasionally we lose video from one of the cameras, but it quickly comes back on. There is no lag between the cameras, and it is indeed a plug n play device. It seems to work fairly well for our application, and we enjoy having the ability to mix four sources at once in OBS.

Insanely quick to install, zero compatibility issues with any of the software I’ve used to access the attached devices, and the zero-latency passthrough is a godsend.

This card is a lifesaver on making sure your stream cameras or what ever you might be using to educate or entertain your audience might be. I highly recommend this card over buying HDMI to USB converters.

Super!!

I got this due to a buddy of mine having it and I plan to have multiple cameras eventually. This is an internal car so it make it easier for less usb. It’s simple installation, there is no updates it’s just plug in and go. ONS picked up on it right away.

Haven’t tried it with OBS Studio yet but the quality seems very good.

Worked perfectly fine, even though my system is slightly below the minimum requirements, it suprisingly still worked for my live stream setup.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRe: review

I’ve bought it second time just to test it. Can confirm now that after updates from Elgato, it now supports DSLRs (sony 6400 and sony 6300) and input resolutions other than 30fps; it works in 4K at 24, 25 and 30fps. Compared to decklink quad HDMI that supports 4K60fps and is many times more expensive, it does everything decklink does, but cheaper and one good thing is that it requires pcie3.0 4lanes slot, instead of 8 lanes camlink needs as not many motherboards have another 8x pcie slot. so if you don’t need 4k60fps, this is better option than decklink. image quality is the same and it works in OBS and VMix. it even works in razer core external GPU connected to my laptop (lenovo legion 5i) over thunderbolt so now i have portable 4k HDMI capture card with 4 inputs.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI picked up one of these to replace a gaggle of capture cards running on USB 3 connections.

This Elgato card is much more reliable; once the drivers are installed, OBS immediately finds each camera input, (Labelled conveniently HDMI 1, 2, 3 and 4.) -Much easier to work with than single USB 3 capture cards which all just appear with the same name, making it a guessing game when it comes time to select a device.)

The only problem I had was that my computer’s low-end CPU just wasn’t up to the task, and as a result, video feeds would drop frames and experience ugly hiccups. So I upgraded the CPU to a Core i7 processor with 4 cores, meeting the minimum specs listed on Elgato’s website, and the problem was solved.

If you want to run a zoom call on top of OBS, you’ll need an even more powerful computer; minimum specs don’t quite cut it; I was getting a few dropped frames when Zoom was running.

I bought this for our church live stream setup. We were adding multiple cameras and no longer able to use a single external capture card. The elgato was easy to install and works wonderfully for our two camera setup, and gives us plenty of room to upgrade in the future!
