Work in conjunction with my Nest thermostat to zone certain rooms in the house.
Can be noisy enough to wake you if installed in a bedroom.

I use these in conjunction with my Nest thermostat. They can be set to follow the thermostat to ensure individual rooms don’t get overly hot, which I use. I also use timer functions to only switch on bedroom rads when they will be occupied. App is intuitive. Slightly fiddly to fit as you need to use the correct spacer ring (mine needed no rings), but they do the job and the batteries seem to be lasting fine. Highly recommended.

Funcionan correctamente. Buena relacin calidad-precio. Las tengo funcionando con una Raspberry pi 3, mediante la shield “Energenie Two way Pi-mote” del mismo fabricante (comprada en Amazon.co.uk por menos de 30). Como software, engMQTTClient, y sobre ello HomeAssistant.
Como pega, el protocolo es algo lento. Envias una orden y tarda unos minutos en enterarse, y una vlvula tras otra. Para el uso normal va perfecto, es decir, ponerle temperatura objetivo. Pero si quieres cerrar todas las vlvulas por ejemplo, puede tardar 10 minutos en hacerlo.

Encantado de haber optado por esta opcin en contra de las carsimas Z-Wave. Eso s, requiere conocimientos algo mayores que Z-Wave para hacerlas funcionar.

Respecto a la fontanera, aseguraros que vale con vuestras vlvulas con la info de su web. Con mis Orkli me vale por los pelos.

Although these were not suitable for my home heating setup I have to give them a five star review for the support from energenie. I had several emails a day correspondence with the company and they were fantastic. Unfortunately with my home setup I was unable to integrate them into my home . I still have my enrrgenie controller and plugs and I intend to grow my home automation setup with energenie.

With Amazon’s 30 day money back guarantee I would recommend you try emergencies products . there app is fantastic for controlling your home automation but even more important the support from the company is second to no one.

Just purchased Jan 2015.
Have to say very impressed, unlike the previous comment I have had no trouble whatsoever. I’m able to dial in a temperature and the room pretty much moves to that temperature. Obviously the real benefit comes from being able to adjust individual rooms to a preferred temperature or completely off by using your android device or iPhone without the need to move from room to room manually adjusting TRV’s. Additionally each valve can be controlled by programming automatic on and off times with preferred temperatures.
The days of heating your whole house to a central core temperature driven by one thermostat are gone and this device allows you to do so with very little cost and an easy DIY approach to installation.
So far 10/10!
