If you’re like me and want to know key metrics of: step count, heart rate, sleep and distance travelled there isn’t a better tracker available. Smart to wear and an excellent battery life paired with a super fast charge time .
Didn’t really want a fitness watch but was persuaded to get one. Must admit I’m quite addicted to it now. I reviewed a lot of fitness watches/trackers and this was well rated. I like how I can track my sleep pattern and it’s actually made me more active as I get a buzz when I’ve surpassed my goals. The battery life is very good- I charge it every 9-10 days and the colour is lovely.
I have tried alternatives to this (cheaper ones and an Apple Watch) and nothing came close to this. I love it! The colour is lovely, it is completely comfortable to wear day and night (even on my small wrists) and I often forget I am wearing it.
The set up is easy, the app is simple and it can do as much or as little as you need it to (I only use mine for tracking steps and being notified of calls.) The battery life is fantastic too. No brainer for anyone looking for a fitness watch!
Fitbit tracke
Bought as a present for my mother it was easy to set up with great battery life she loves it as it’s simple to use and see all the stats.
Not for childre
Great watch, colour and functionality.
Not for children: beware that you cannot set this up for a child. We managed to get around this to some extent as we had a spare ipad we could link the watch and app to. If your child has their own smart phone, again not a massive problem. But if you only have your own (parent) phone it gets messy as watch will receive calls and notifications from your phone although you can turn these functions off. I’d recommend sticking to kids versions for under 16’s
Long battery life
Bought this as a upgrade from my Fitbit Inspire HR , it’s a lot bigger than my old Fitbit , I was hoping with it bring bigger I would be able to see the screen better, but I can’t , and the colours of lettering do not help. It looks massive on my wrist , would have sooner had a smaller one, but the battery live is very good , most of the time it lasts 10 days .
Fitbit Inspire - good upgrade
Bought this to replace my work horse Fitbit Charge 4 after the strap clips broke and couldn’t be repaired.
Less information on smaller screen but in colour and longer battery life of 10 days instead of 5.
Well worth the outlay.
Does everything I want it to
One thing I didn’t like was the strap, so have changed it for a fabric one.
Fits great on my wrist, screen is clear, can’t tell I am wearing it.
If you carry some weight around your wrist then the sensors on the side will switch the screen on, not good for when you are sleeping. I have switched the Auto Wake off but still switches o
Love my fitbi
Bought to replace my old Fitbit that was a few years old. Couldn’t see the screen in bright light on old one and this one is much better. It has more features and battery life is excellent. Love the colour too.
I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 as it’s not perfect.
I love the feel, the app, the ‘find phone’ feature and the programs included with the phone.
Sometimes the ‘turn wrist to show time’ feature turns itself off when the watch resets. That annoys me but it’s a minor complaint as I can just turn it back on in 10 seconds.
The premium app feature are so good that I was blown away when I first got the watch.
Overall, pretty decent and good value for money.
Best purchase of 2023
I never thought I’d be one of those people to buy a fitbit but on a whim, I did. I love it! Honestly the best thing I’ve bought this year. It tells me everything I need to know and has really motivated me on my staying fit journey. I’m more aware of when I’m not moving especially in these times where everyone office based works from home.
I also got 6 months premium free, which was amazing. I’ve been really using the features such as the free workouts.
Dont even think about it and just buy one. They’re actually life changing.
Does everything I wa
I was after a decent basic fitbit. It’s fine. Don’t have to charge often (I generally top it up 10 minutes every other day). There’s no subscription required for the basic features, which is all I need. Not having had one before, I found set up and operation a little complicated, but OK. Now that I’m used to it, the features I like are easy to access.
I particularly like the fact that it communicates with my phone to display emails and messages. Handy when I’m travelling and don’t want to take my phone out.
This watch is great and I love the colour but I had the previous watch version two and it seems to me that this watch doesn’t hold the charge as long as the previous version.the face the very clear and I do love using this but you will need to c charge the watch more often if you were used to the previous style
Got this as a replacement for my Fitbit1 as it was the only one that can be used as a clip on as well as a watch. You just have to remember to set it to ‘clipped on body’ mode if you want to use it that way.
Much better battery life than my previous Fitbit which means I don’t have to take charger when I go away. It’s also not bulky as I have a narrow wrist so doesn’t look ridiculous. Reasonable for the price
I’ve tried a couple of watches just lately, but sent them back. Although there isn’t much to choose from in colour, I’m already pleased with this one. Nice and light, you don’t realise you are wearing it.. does all I need it to do, so far seems accurate on my steps, so all good
Perfect for small wrists
It perfect fit a big front screen comfortable to wear durable big enough time display track my sleeping steps and everything as advertised very happy with purchase recommend to anyone who likes fit bit but only wants a small one
Bought this to replace my ancient Alta as the battery started needing charging every day. The battery charge on this watch lasts 10 days so is great. Also I couldn’t see my Alta in bright sunlight but can see this one. I like the lilac numbers.
I just wanted a reliable watch which could encourage me to move more and keep an eye on my steps and heart rate . I recently started exercising more and pleased to see my heart rate stats improving. The watch does so much more, most of it wasted on me. So it does what I need and feels comfortable and is reliable and I like it.
I wanted a fitness tracker without features that I didn’t think I needed. The battery life on this is really long and it tracks steps, activity, heart rate and sleep. It came with Fitbit Premium that has loads of workouts and recipes included. Great value and high quality.
We got two of these for my wife and I. I’ve had no issues with mine but my wife’s was dead on arrival and had to be exchanged. The replacement then started having Bluetooth connect issues and required a full reset.
The app gives good data and we generally find the tracking of steps to pretty accurate, along with easy tracking of exercise.
The tracker is light and comfortable on the wrist, with none of the rash issues we’ve had with earlier straps. You get both a small and large strap in the box, so no need to select your size on ordering as you had to with previous models.
The main gripe is the text size. The watch face can be configured to fill the screen, but whereas previous devices enabled you to tap through the data such as steps and heart beat at full screen size, the config here only allows this data to show as sub text at a much smaller font.
For my wife this was a major gripe as she likes to check her heart rate during exercise and found it hard to see it on the screen.
Overall, as we didn’t want a full watch-sized tracker, this fits the bill and is one of the few of this type of tracker still on the market. Our previous Fitbits have died after a couple of years, so time will tell if this model is any more robust.
Light and not obtrusive, it’s easy to wear. The bpm reading seems to conform to another device I use. It doesn’t always pick up the step I do on a step device in my gym. It’s fine and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly if it were a bit cheaper.
It’s actually really good for tracking your sleep schedule and minutes of exercise via heartrate. I’m trying to take my health more seriously and this is great, I only need to charge is every 11 ish days so I can just sleep with it and wear it all day and night. Shame about the subscription thing. Kinda hate the paywall for software. This is excellent for tracking sleep though because you barely take it off and don’t have to remember to log your sleep in different apps I’ve tried. It may seem a little expensive but it’s worth it to me
The colour and quality material are perfect. It doesn’t pick up my activity very well . When I do the weights sometimes it does not recognise it or it thinks I am swimming. It is the best for running and walking not for other exercises.
This is quite a good fitness watch , I was disappointed that unlike my old Fitbit it doesn’t count flights climbed. The screen is easy to read and quite strong, my other one became cracked but still kept going in spite of that.
It’s much easier to read outside which is a bonus.
I like how compact and minimal the design is. Although it isn’t the best for step count due to it thinking certain arm movements are steps, the bpm seems to be fairly accurate so combined with the gps from your phone it will messure your walks or run data pretty well. I imagine it’s good value for money as FitBit do have experience in developing decent products, and I’m sure this model will be using the same algorithms as the more expensive ones for data collection.
Also you can receive texts if it’s connected to your phone, which is useful if you have a Job where you can’t have your phone on you all the time. Just means you can see any urgent messages from people which is pretty handy!
Would recommend for people who want to track their exorcise, diet and weight, but don’t want to spend loads.
New year, new me and a beautiful Fitbit Inspire 3 to help me on my way.
Being the obsessive I am, I researched every tracker out there and settled on this little beauty.
It’s slim, the yellow/orange band really stands out and contrasts great with the black of the device
Set up via the app was simple, I activated the free 6 months Fitbit premium but won’t keep it beyond that as it not really worth the price.
I was a bit worried the screen wound be too small, it’s actually a good size, great clarity and very responsive. Anything else that needs to be done is very simple via the app, adding exercise, updates, changing faces etc.
Great accuracy of steps, heart rate, sleep patterns, workouts and being able to see what you’ve done that day does spur you on.
Battery life seems good, I’ve only disabled the always on display and left everything else working and 6 days after a full charge I’m still sitting at 41%, so the estimate 10 day life seems accurate.
The package you receive is, device, one large, one small strap and the charger, warranty and quick start guide, download the app, charge it up and away you go.
It’s definable worth the money.
Really lightweigh
Purchased this Fitbit when my Alta gave up after 6 years. My only complaint would be that although the screen is much better and the time is really large and clear, the other details such as steps and heart rate are very small! Other than that, all good, really like the coloured screen. The strap is much better.
Brilliant devise
I did a lot of research on which Fitbit would suit my needs best, I was only interested in steps, calories, heart rate. Fitbit versa 3 has exceeded my expectations. I receive texts, calls, track walks, sleep, swim, activities etc. also comes with 6 months premium which has work outs, calm, yoga , meditation, de – dress, breathing techniques etc. once 6 months is done this is only 7.99 per month if needed.
i am very happy with my product – thank you
At my advanced age (77), I was a bit sceptical that this would be worth buying for me: it certainly is. Paired to the app on my phone (which was child’s play) it tells me all about my exercise, distance walked daily, pulse rate, oxygen level and sleep pattern (etc., etc.). It encourages me to walk more and helps me to see where I am on the scale of activity. It is very comfortable to wear even at night. The “reports” that you get back online are very professional and impressive. I never though I would even consider getting one at my age; but I am delighted that I did. There are more features than I need but they may well be just what you want. It is very obviously well made.
I wanted to be able to track my basic progress wrt to heart rate, recovery times, etc. etc. I wasn’t really interested in a Smart Watch … I find those physically too big when working out with free weights and weight machines.
My main criteria was it had to :
1/ Be comfortable and non restrictive when working out
2/ show the time (clearly)
3/ have a mobile app to track progress/show history
4/ track/show heart rate
5/ track sleep pattern
6/ long battery life between charges
This Fitbit Inspire 3 met all my requirement and a lot more – it is really comfortable and definitely doesn’t get in the way while working out… and I hardly notice I am wearing it at night.
I find navigating around the actual Fitbit very easy – swipe left/right, up/down and tap for action… my only minor observation is only about 60% of the shiny 1 inch front display is actually used/functional – I would imagine the physical size of the Fitbit is due to the battery size, just a shame they couldn’t have utilised the physical size to increase the display size of the screen… but it’s not a bit problem for me.
Overall, I find the Fitbit Inspire 3 absolutely perfect – does exactly what I need (and A LOT more), great mobile app for tracking/showing history, comfortable to wear, waterproof for swimming and a long battery life between charges.
At 69.99 (January 2023), I would say that is good value and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for decent activity tracker (remembering, this is NOT a ‘Smart Watch’, this is a a activity tracker only).
I bought this as a replacement for the Inspire HR and its an improvement and more accurate. It still does not seem to get it right over when I am asleep at night or awake. I also find there is now so much detail on the screen and it is so fine, it can be difficult to read with my aging eyesight.
Basic functions are ok – steps sleep etc. But options such as alarms, reminders to move, notifications & exercise are all limited to being set on the watch. It’s a small screen and it’s difficult to see what’s what – I specifically chose this Fitbit for it’s size. The functions could do with being on the watch and the app. I am not likely to buy another Fitbit because of this
Does everything I want it to. I will add that it’s a replacement for the Fitbit I got just over a year ago. The battery life on that one diminished to the point where it was unusable. I googled it and discovered that most Fitbits become like this in a 1-2 yr lifespan. The company don’t offer a refund. I’d therefore recommend this product with the proviso that it’ll last two years tops.
Sleep patterns and exercise
Loved that it knew I was swimming but now it doesn’t always know it puts me down as walking or bike and the lengths don’t always add up as the same love that it lets me know about my sleep patterns
I absolutely love my Fitbit Inspire 3! It’s the perfect activity tracker for someone who wants to stay motivated and track their daily activity. The tracker itself is sleek and stylish, and it’s comfortable to wear all day long. I love being able to track my steps, distance travelled, and calories burned, and the Inspire 3 even has a feature that allows me to track my sleep, which has been really helpful for me to understand my sleep patterns and work on getting a better night’s rest. I’ve also found the motivational reminders and challenges from the Fitbit app to be really helpful in keeping me motivated to stay active. Overall, I would highly recommend the Fitbit Inspire 3 to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish activity tracker.
