Good compact machine
I have had a previous machine for many years
And i was so pleased with it that I bought an identical one.
The only problem i had with it was that there was a split in the handle when i received it which i tried to report to Amazon but was unable to contact them. Please pass this message to them. Thank you.
Does a very good job of cutting the grass
Easy to use and no effort to use the mower very pleased
Have had several Flymo mowers and they always seem to cease working after just over two years.
This model has a nice addition on the handle allowing you to wind the cable there.
I find it efficient but cumbersome. Lighter models can be swung round when mowing but this one needs to be pushed in straight lines.
The large grassbox is an advantage but it doesn’t drop in place easily. It needs wiggling to properly insert it.

So easy to set up, works like a dream. I’ve got 3 lawns and I do then all every week. Perfect for me
Does the job well!
Great value, works perfectly. A tiny little note, which may just be a slight fault. When assembling, 2 hooks are supplied that you have to bolt onto the side of one of the bars. The would be to wrap the power cord around neatly. The holes to allow the screw through were only done properly on one side of the bar – I’ve just wrapped the power cord around the two poles instead but just in case anyone has the same issue.
Easy to use and easy to handle
I found Flymo easy to use and minimal to assemble. After use clean up is a bit clumsy but the handling is very easy. I will recommend this to anyone fear of gardening work.
Poor desig
Had to return this item. Bad design with cable over fan needing to be manoeuvred into place each time to ensure it did not affect grass box sitting correctly in position. Orange grass box lid did not sit correctly and did not latch or click into place so could easily have come open and grass spewed out – not sure if this was a faulty machine or just a bad design fault with the flimsy plastic. Not the standard I would have expected from Flymo having had their lawnmowers over very many years. Disappointing.

The most annoying thing is the fact that the bolt holding the blade is plastic and was very difficult to remove without breaking . Not a very good design idea.
