Q: Why is my microphone unavailable/no sound?

A:The microphone part is detachable and can replace the button/boom microphone, so please check if this part is inserted tightly.

Q: Why are my speakers volume low?

A: Different locations of speakers will cause differences in volume, please install the speaker as close to your ears as possible. If the distance is too far, the volume will be reduced. You can use the thickened pad in the package to achieve it.

Q: Why is the volume of the intercom really low?

A: Please note that both the volume of the intercom or the volume of listening to music can be adjusted with the volume +- button, if you think the intercom volume is too low, you can press “+” button to increase the intercom volume.

Q: My friend and I both use M1-S Pro, why can I hear his voice, but he can’t hear me?

A: 1. It may be that his speaker is defective. Please ask him to connect the phone and play music to check if it is the speaker problem.

2. It may also be that your microphone is defective and he cannot hear your voice. Please replace the soft/hard microphone to check if it is the microphone problem.

I ordered 3 for me and my parents to be able to chat to each other, they work brilliantly and sound quality is amazing. Only issue is that the instructions are wrong on how to connect the devices together, so recommend using a YouTube video on being able to do that. Other than this it’s been brilliant and great fu

Spent ages looking for a sensible priced intercom that connects to my phone and glad I found these. So far no complaints and everything works as stated. Great produc

The speakers could be louder. I have a Schubert C5 helmet and at speed above 50mph I can hardly hear anything from the speakers. The helmet is rated for 82db at 85mph so it’s not a wind noise issue.
I will be utilising my CARDO from now on.

My husband and I reviewed so many motorcycle intercoms for hours, but narrowed them down to these ones. We both ride so needed one each. We didn’t want to spend a fortune so these were a great price. Easy to pair (hold for 5 secs not 3 as we found out when setting them up) we never lose signal whilst riding lots of chatting made easy! Really happy with our
    first experience with intercom systems!!!

So good quality but speakers to thick, pushing the ears badly.

Really impressed with this product. Placement of headphones wasn’t too easy to get right (blame goes to my crash helmet design) but overall very impressed. Two mics supplied, boom type for faceless helmet and regular lavalier type which was my choice for fully closed.

Bizarre to actually have full functioning maps / music / phone calls / the ability to chat locally with pals on a ride via Bluetooth all in my helmet now albeit the music playing I think will not be for me on a concentration while riding level.

Very good system so far and would certainly recommend

Having researched various brands and products for a couple of weeks. I decided to buy these for myself and my husband. So glad we did! The sound quality is perfect, the battery life is amazing, I’m yet to charge these and we’ve used them for well over a week so far. Admittedly we haven’t used them as intercoms yet as I’m enjoying being able to listen to my music as I ride. We did try using them accepting a phone call and I could hear everything my husband said and vice Versa. Not got one bad thing to say about this product so far..if you’re not looking to spend then I would definitely recommend these.

Bought 3 of these, they work well together when riding in a group. It did take some playing to figure out how to switch between phone and intercom, but once figured out, works fine. Brilliant value for money if you are not looking at spending a fortune on these.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe sound is good and the intercom hasn’t disconnected once, a charge seems to last forever. I’ve gone 6 hours of constant intercom usage and they only took about 40mons to charge back to full.
These are so simple to use and extremely reliable.
I’m not really sure why someone would spend 500 when this version is so good! I’ve used these for two months now and only had one disconnection when we were about 1km away from each other, they connected automatically when we were in range of each other.
The sound quality is more than acceptable and I have burmester speaker in my car, it’s almost like having a concert in your helmet.
It would be nice to have music and intercom working at the same time, however you just have to switch the intercoms off and the music starts straight away.
But you have to ask yourself, if it worth paying an extra 350 just for this feature? For me the answer is no 🙂
My friends with headsets nearly ten times the cost are impressed with these units. If you get these you won’t regret it 🙂

Having used loads of budget intercom systems I was doubtful if this would be like those not very good.
But no these are great easy to use easy to set up easy to link to your phone and great sound quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI found this really easy to install in my GIVI 1.6, works great with the GPS on my phone, good communication between this unit on my helmet and different make of unit on my friend’s helmet, worked very well out on a ride, we were at times around 500mtrs apart but comms were good.
Had this unit for a few months and it’s working really well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good for GPS and rider to ride

Great sound quality from this device, it is great on the bike for sat-nav, some background music, or communicating with my friends on other bikes.

It’s a bit of a pain that the volume buttons don’t work with the iPhone, so you have to set it up prior to setting off, so I dropped a star for that.

Build quality seems good and in general it’s a great product and does what it says it will do.

    Would recommend.

I tried to use button mic in my full face helmet but it was picking a lot of noise. Though my helmet does not have a chin curtain. I would suggest using the open helmet mic or add extra sponge over the button mic once installed. Other than that I think it is great value for money. I used it for 12-14 hours a day without a problem. Almost max volume all the time as I was with ear plugs. Charges to full in 3-4 hours after that usage.

Me and a friend did a trip around wales on the bikes these things were amazing. They made the ride more fun and were so easy to use. The batteries on them lasted 12hours solid no problem. Only thing that could be better is when you’re travelling over 70mph (which none of us bikers do) it gets a bit hard to hear the other person with the wind noise. Other than that these things are definitely worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo, bought this last week to put into a Shoei full face helmet and link to a Garmin Zumo XT Satnav and Samsung phone. So far, really pleased.
Helmet fitting: This was the part I was worried about but just took about 30 mins. Helmet had foam inserts where the ear speakers go, which I didn’t know were there, so just removed them and used the supplied sticky pads to insert the speakers. With my set up they don’t press against your ears but still quite audible. See below. The supplied bracket slipped fine between the helmet shell and the padding to attach the actual unit. The semi-rigid microphone fitted fine under the helmet padding and is placed inside the chin guard. With this helmet, all the wiring could be hidden under the removable interior padding.
Instructions: OK to follow and the quick guide is useful.
Controls: Buttons are quite accessible, even with gloves on, but TBH would pull over to the side of the road to do much more than adjust music volume.
Sound Quality: Surprisingly good for music (after using hardwired buds for years). You can still hear the bike engine revs’ and there is some some wind noise but you can still hear the tunes with a good bit of bass. Admittedly, I’m listening to rock / metal which probably helps. Satnav instructions are a bit CB Radio but I suspect that’s the satnav more than this piece of kit.
Battery: had a brief 80 mile / 3 hr run tonight with it switched on and it recharged within 30 mins so looks OK.
Bluetooth connectivity: once powered on, no issues and tells you that.
All-in-all firmly recommend. All the connections look waterproof but haven’t tested that yet or the inter-bike connectivity as I tend to ride solo.

Great connectivity, great sound and fits full face helme

I bought this because my riding buddy on an upcoming trip already had one, so this was less about research and more about necessity. However, I’ve not been disappointed. The set up was very easy (luckily I had a helmet with the cut outs already available for installation) but there are lots of stickers and configurations for different helmet types). Relatively quick to charge, the one thing I was very impressed with was the battery life. We were riding out on 8-9 hour trips and had these on most of the time. Generally they lasted the entire day. I think we ran out of charge one day on a particularly long ride. It was also subject to the Scottish highlands weather in October, so a fair test of its resilience in that respect, and came through fine. Audio quality is very clear, and the volume can be turned up pretty high if you’ve either got a helmet that isn’t particularly sound-proofed or, like me, don’t have the greatest hearing on earth. Like I say, I’m not sure I’d have gone straight to this brand if buying blind but I’ve been super impressed with the kit.

Got these a few days ago. Easy enough to install into the helmet but takes a bit of time. Recommend that time is spent getting the wires behind the lining properly and that the speakers are as close to the ears as possible. Do not put the speakers under padding as it’s difficult to hear. The sound quality for the price is really good. Music playback via Android smart phone was easy to set up and nice and clear even at 70mph. The intercom was great at low speeds but at 70mph was a little bit too quiet/wind noise being captured by the microphone. Never lost connection to the other rider over a 100mile run. The buttons on the unit take a while to get used to and there is a lot of different sequences to go through to pair them etc.

For the price this is a decent unit and would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good product for the price

A great price for a fantastic bit of kit, I bought the pair set for me and my partner on pillion and bought a single set for a mate to pair with us when we ride.
Price – excellent a pair will cost less than a single unit of a “big” brand. Does the same job at less than half the price.
Sound quality – again excellent, had a ride out covering city streets country roads dual carriageways and motorways whilst listening to music, crystal clear sounds on all roads.
Microphone pickup – great, I called my missus while riding a mix of 30 40 and national roads with the visor up and down at random intervals across all speeds. she reported the call quality as crystal clear and said she couldn’t tell I was even on the bike and that if I hadn’t been saying speed and visor position she would have thought I had pulled in somewhere.
Fitting – very very easy to fit, less than 5 mins per headset, quicker if you’ve done it before. Updating the unit is easy as well, connect to laptop, put into upgrade mode and launch upgrade file on laptop.
Overall I would deffinately recommend these units.

Easy to install but I did watch several videos beforehand. Good sound and volume from the speakers. The soft button mic didn’t work at all and I had to use the boom moc which isnt a huge problem but I didn’t want to return all of it just for that. I honestly can’t see how paying ‘s more for a Sena will get me a much better unit.

I bought a pair of these in 09/2019 and they have been used about twenty times. I can’t fault them really but I have not used top brand ones to compare with. They work fine and I can easily hear my wife even with earplugs in (have on max volume with plugs). We don’t travel at high speeds but they are fine at 60/70mph and do not distort. The only problem is my wife’s helmet is a retro style full face and isn’t the quietest so I do hear a bit of wind through her helmet…
I have used my phone through it a couple of times and it’s easy to use and crystal clear. Being a bit of a technophobe I have not used voice control but the option is there.
Setting it up is easy and it took me about 10/15 minutes per helmet. This will depend on how easy it is to fiddle with your lining, if it comes out, fitting is a doddle. It comes with a boom mic for open face and a stick on mic for your chin guard on full face.
One of the sets has just had a battery fault (8 months) and I was expecting hassle with the seller. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong, unbelievable customer service, even answered my email on a Saturday. Agreed replacement unit after sending a photo of it on the same day and it arrived on monday!
    Good quality at reasonable price.

Bought this to go with my Navigator VI for the 1200RT with some apprehension as the first sat nav experience on a bike. Fitting the system in the helmet went more smoothly than I expected. I took my time to make sure everything was well done. I didn’t need to damage the helmet lining in any way, and locating the position of the earphones was clear from the layout of the lining. On the road, the system linked easily with the Bluetooth Sat
Nav. However, although it could be understood well enough – even at speed – the sound quality was not brilliant.

We got these because a couple of friends and I had started riding out together because they passed their license recently. 2 of us used this intercom and my friend used his Sena. After a bit of fiddling we managed to get them all talking to ome another. The range seems pretty decent, sufficient for our needs. The one complaint I have so far is the none existent fodsport software support. In the end I found Dimton M1s pro software updates for it. They now say blue rider on start up instead of fodsports.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an excellent product, easy to use and great sound quality. It enables you to play music via your phone and is easy to alter the volume whilst you ride, you can pause the music whilst refuelling, as the music continues to play with you phone on your bike whilst you go into the petrol station! Bluetooth 4 has great coverage.
The best thing for me was the comms with my biker friends, with 4 of us having these units we were able to talk the whole time we were riding. – If you have done your research you will have read that if you go out of range with the friends then this system won’t automatically reconnect – BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE! They do re-connect, sometimes a single press of the comms button is required, sometimes it does it automatically after it short beep!!
It’s just brilliant – and the initial connection is as simple as pairing it with your mobile.

Got this mainly so I can talk with my son when on the bike, and this works really well with good sound.
The wind noise cancellation is excellent and when using/making a call via Bluetooth travelling at 50 mph it is still clear and no wind noise.
Headphone quality is OK and great for what I need. When listening to music the bass is a little quiet but that is not a problem as I am not expecting it to sound like a pair of dedicated headphones when travelling. Listening to podcasts and radio are also no problem.
Now I have got used to the buttons I can operate it easily.
Also used these go-karting and it was great chatting while racing…

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersJust used these on a 2 day, 260 mile trip with 3 bikers riding off road and the headsets have performed fantastically!

    Setup:
The head set hardware (microphones/speakers etc.) are really easy and quick to fit. Probably a 5 minute job. We fitted ours to 3 different brands of helmet with no problems.

Pairing the three devices again was quite simple and just took a few minutes.

    In the field
In use the headsets provide very clear and reliable comms between all riders in the group. The range is fantastic and I only notice the sound quality start to degrade when the gap between riders extends over about 600 metres or so in off road terrain or when separated by obstacles like hill sides/rocks etc.

On road the range is even better and I only noticed a slight difficulty to hear each other when hitting speeds of 60mph+ This is pretty good considering we were riding noisy dirt bikes.

Charging the headset takes around 2 hours and the performance of a single charge is more than enough for a full days riding. I used mine with my group continuously for about 10 hours without switching it off on one day and did not experience and low battery warnings
About half of this time I was riding in constant rain and the unit held up fine so the water resistant part of it is also excellent.

Another good feature is that if one rider in the group goes out of range an looses contact, the head set automatically reconnects as soon as the rider comes back into range meaning you dont have to stop and re connect manually

Ive not tested this for an extended period of time so cant comment on reliability but so far it has proved to be very good

The only thing that is not so easy is to set the volume up button while riding
other than that this is a great headset that id definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI was looking for a set of intecoms for rider to passenger but also that i could use rider to rider but which didnt break the bank. After reading lots of reviews across many different intercoms i decided to purchase these. My son likes listening to music so he can do that whilst riding pillion and as a rider i can receive gps info whilst riding and both of us can also communicate with each other, or a thrid person on another bike. However when i first purchsed the items we found that the sound quality was terrible and inaudible at anything above 40mph due to wind noise. We ride with full face helmets and a decent screen on the bike so wind noise is not what i would call excessive at all at those speeds. We could still actually hear ourselves via our own voices better that the intercoms at 40mph. Also the bike itself is not overly loud and is a standard bike. After the first trial i was extremely dissapointed after the reviews that i had read and was ready to send them back in discust. However after looking at the manufacturers website i noticed a download section which incorperated sofware updates for the units. So before sending the items back i decided to update them. There are about 6 software updates in total so returned the item to the first version of the sofware and then installed each one after the other to make sure nothing was missed. Hey presto, what a difference. We can now talk at 70mph, all be it there is wind noise mixed in there but at that speed i wouldnt expect anything different and find it an acceptable downside of motorcycling. The kit itself is relatively easy to install and the instructions can be a little bit vague in places but once you get the hang of it, its easy to use. Buttons are large enough to use via gloves once you have familiarized yourself with its layout as obviously you cannot see it once you have your helmet on. Battery life is also very good and we have no problems communicating on a full days riding without loss of power, and we are bikers who do more riding than tea/coffee stops. For anyone thinking of purchasing the item, i would recomend it and already have done to other riders.
