This set is ridiculously easy to set up and use. It’s almost “plug and play”. There’s a small amount of input required, such as setting the time – it’s not automatic 🙁 – and pairing the handsets to the base unit, both easy to do, but after that you’re good to go. Changing the clocks is easy, through the settings menu, once input on one handset, the others automatically update. The answering part can be switched off if you prefer to use your supplier’s voicemail. It’s all very intuitive.
Sound quality is very good. There’s a calendar function, call log, missed call log, address book and missed call alert (red flashing light).
    I bought the 3 handset/answerphone version.
I’m excessively pleased with my purchase!!

Very easy to use and set up

Easy to set up, and looks very smart. Sound is good tho I always wish I could up the volume on any phone. Tho Im generally very satisfied.

Pretty straightforward to set-up. Easy to use the basics and have hardly consulted the manual at all. Love the clock display when its ‘resting’. Less impressed with the poor choice of ring tones; not very obvious for folks with poor hearing when there is background noise. Way more features than I will ever use! Nicely designed. Only had them a few weeks so have not comments re. longevity.

Far superior design to BT offerings. Work well and options that are useful.

I’ve been after a trio set for some time as my giga set had come to an end. These sets are stylish and guests have complimented them. Features are good and at this price, was a bonus. Nothing negative to say!

Nice phones but instructions are very basic so download the more comprehensive instructions on line. I would avoid buying the warehouse phones unless the saving is substantial. I did this to save 8, the phones came without belt clips, batteries, instructions and proper packaging. I sent them back and ordered full price ones. I have got 6 of these phones now and, once I’ve learnt how to use them, they will be great.

Only problem I have found is your ear piece volume cannot go higher than the max volume by the manufacturer which when you have hearing issues could be a problem other than that a real quality Product.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHad an odd issue with anonymous call blocking but after repeated resets and setting updates the issue went away. Since then, the phone has been great – decent functionality and performance, and a good price.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought these for VOIP use with a Gigaset Hub, setting up the handsets is really easy and what I like is that once you have 1 handset set up with all of your contacts you can easily send the list to the other handsets, also renaming them is a breeze. Love these phones, good sound quality AND you can plug a hands free kit into all of the handsets – a real plus! Couple with the Hub these are an awesome addition to the house, excellent wireless range even through 4 walls! Superb value.

I’m sure I’m not alone in barely using my home landline these days – with unlimited mobile calls and my broadband provider having changed my landline phone number so I no longer remember it, my mobile is my general ‘go to’ these days! However, having said that I have one old friend who only ever calls my landline and I occasionally prefer to use a proper handset when dialling a freephone number.
This set of 3 phones and an answerphone deliver for the fairly rare occasions when I use them – nice looking and functional. My only query really is whether people would choose to buy ‘Gigaset’ (a brand I’d never heard of previously) over a couple of other very well known brands who provide something similar, cheape

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe good:
    – Look great. The matte finish is very nice.
    – Easy to set up and use.
    – Clear sound and loud ringer.
    – Choice of clock displays in standby look good.
    – Plenty of useful features that don’t complicate use.
    – One touch call to built in or network answer machine / voicemail just like your mobile.
    – Synchronised phone book between handsets.
    – Missed call and messages flashing indicator on each handset (but see last point below).

    The not so good:
    – Only one or two decent ring tones – the others are gimmicky or jarring.
    – Only two screen colour schemes – and the orange on the dark screen looks a bit old fashioned.
    – Orange LCD type numeric display on the answer machine base looks dated. (I’ve switched the answer machine off and use network voicemail instead).
    – if you answer on any phone other than one in this set, this set logs the call as a missed call.

However, the Pros for me outweigh the cons as the cons are minor things really and I’m really happy withbthese.

They have replaced a set I had been using for about 10 years, and other than the orange display and lights these look far more modern yet understated.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA good set of phones for the house. One main base – including the answering machine – and two smaller charging bases.

We have one dpwnstairs – the main base – and two upstairs. It is very easy to set the rings, brightness, volumes, bleeps etc. and the ‘ringing’ can be set to loud enough so that it is heard no matter where we are in the house.

Once I had put in the phone numbers to base one, it was nice nad straighforward to copy them to the other two handsets = basically the touch of a couple of buttons. I was hoping that once the time and date was set onone handset this would sync with the other two, but not the case (unless I’m missing something) Still, just a wee things.

The sound is nice and clear on calls, the speaker function works well, and the message recording – both for leaving anansewer message and for recording incoming message is great.

Nice, clear screems, with the choice of a couple of screensavers – analogue or digital clock.

Good phones, working very well so far. Only need to attach the main base to the landline socket (or router socket in our case). You can seet the rings to the same on all handsets or individually for each one. you can also set the main base unit to ring differently.

I love them. Easy to use, working well. No complaints at all.
