It is a brilliant product and l use it for a good shave
Premium product that shaves close and makes you feel closely shaven. What more do you want or need? Unfortunately it won’t make you coffee or give you a back rub nor tell you bed time stories but it will give you a damn good shave.
Finally received my razor and wow it’s built nice feels properly made and doesn’t feel cheap at all the rubber over moulding is grippy even when wet and the whole thing feels great I followed the start up instructions let it charge for an hour then use it then recharge it for the full 6 hours but using it was great it defaults to the higher heat setting which in my opinion is the perfect setting nice and warm on the skin and retains its heat when when run under water lovely bit of ki
It’s more of a luxury buy than a necessity one. As been happily using pro glide 5 for past few years can always warm up the blades with hot water. And if it broke after the 2-year warranty then would have worked out 50/year not including the super expensive replacement cartilages! So yea, it’s pricey!
What matter in this case is, I noticed had I hot up the blades with hot water would also destroy the lub strip ultra fast forcing me to change perfectly sharp blades too soon. With this heated shaver I’ll not have that and can enjoy a hot shaving.
Just charged it up and used first time, set at orange heat in bathroom and really enjoyed it. Shaved well and had to say probably the best / smooth / clean shave I’ve had. Some might disagree or felt it’s gimmicky but worked for me. Not sure if it’s brand new but it heated up quickly, room was about 20’C I waited less than a min.
Would be an indulgent but if you like hot shave this might be for you. I would update if anything worth adding / changing after a few more use but so far I love i
The blades are bigger and feel a lot sharper than other Gillete blades. On first use I set it to high heat by holding the power button in until the light changes from dim orange to bright orange. Shaved as normal, stuck it in the water before I started and was surprised by the heat it produced when I started to shave. The highest heat setting isn’t too hot for the face and gives a great feel when shaving. The heat helps the razor glide over the face by softening whatever is on the bar and the cream on your face. The heat feels great and the razor has a blade on the back for under the chin and nose.
They say a charge lasts 20 minutes but even after not shaving for a week the battery did not fail, I had heat through the extended shave and the blade dealt with the longer hair without a problem. Charging isn’t a hassle either as your not going to have one shave directly after another so I just stick it on the charger and forget about it. The travel case comes in very handy if you do travel, it keeps the razor fully enclosed and protected. To charge just sit the razor in the case close the lid and the charging light on top will come on. (When connected to a usb power source) I just use a phone power bank and that works fine.
I was in the forces for a LONG time and hated shaving in tepid water first thing in the morning in the middles of a freezing wood. This razor would be very handy for forces personnel who know what I’m talking about, stops the cold on your face and skin going very dry when doing this for weeks. Could be easily charged vis a vehicle power outlet or power bank. The soldiers amounts you will appreciate it.

This is a great razor but comes at a price. I find the heat does make for a nicer shaving experience ( on high) and the blades do provide a very close shave. Travel box is a nice touch for travelling as always struggle to know where to put my shaver in my travel bag. All this comes at a price and a high one. Is it worth it? Some will say yes others no, guess it comes down to how much is a nicer shaving experience worth to you? I don’t regret the purchase now I’m using it so have my answer.
Yes it’s a bit expensive but it gives such an amazing shave it is totally worth it. Really is the best shave I ever had!! Without a question would recommend it!
I ordered this as a gift for my husband on Saturday. He’s very pleased with it, however I noticed today that the price has dropped by 24. Bit upset I didn’t wait.
Bought the product half price on Christmas deal,definitely best I’ve used so far,however I wouldn’t of payed the full price though, takes bit too long to charge up for my liking,go for it if you can afford it.
The best thing I have chosen is Gillet it is worth the money

While I use a Braun Series 9 for much of the time the real luxury is when I treat myself to a hot wet shave with this Gillette heated razor. Absolutely smooth finish that even my Brain can get nowhere close to achieving.
Was a bit expensive to purchase first but it’s a great idea the heat from the razor lifts the beard to offer a clean soft cut and easy to charge
I bought this as a present for my other half, he absolutely loves it, said was closest shave he’s ever had leaving his skin so smooth, and very easy to use, he would definitely recommend this.
Great product to have as adult male. Struggled with in growing hair as an adult male. This was my final solution. It was a longer time coming. I am now 65 years old. It was worth the wait.
Bought this and as a Gillette razor this is simply the best there is the shaving performance is way above any of the current Gillette cartridge systems it delivers a shave dare I say it ……….. as good as a 3 pass DE shave this really is an enjoyable experience the warming bar feels nice on the skin and the razor glides with ease causing no irritation at all(I have sensitive skin), it’s comfortable to hold and feels well balanced, the razor head rinses well too the blades seem slightly more spaced than a standard fusion cartridge allowing it to clear more effectively. Now with a reduced price of just under 100 I’d recommend this to anyone looking for the best cartridge shaver out there.
At 115 it’s expensive it started out at 299 on initial release!!
The razor and magnetic stand are fantastic quality an feel the business, travel case is handy and can charge with my oral b travel tooth brush.
This for me is better than any other gillet razor, the heated zone takes 5 seconds to become warm, it is not life changing but it’s an added bonus to feel the warmth.
I shave my head as well as face so and this is the closest shave I’ve had at home as well being the most comfy! But for the high price of blades and razor I would expect this. Good product! I think the next version will include the vibrate function!

Shame the travelcase doesn’t have a battery in in like a sonicare toothbrush (just charges from the wall. That said will still recommend you get it as it’s the only way I charge mine.
It really is a wonderful everyday luxury to experience a hot shave! Their last innovation was the vibrating head, so I was kind of expecting this to vibrate and heat but maybe that wouldn’t work. Either way it’s the best shave I’ve had at home and feels fantastic.
Don’t bother with the travel case edition, it feels cheap doesn’t do conductive charging, and they really should have worked harder on it, as it feels out of place compared to the rest of the package.

To charge the razor there is a solid disk base on which the razor stands attached by a magnet. It’s simple, clever wireless design give you the impression that the razor is floating.
The razor has different heat settings to provide a comfortable level of heat. The heat seems to open the pores and provide a more pleasant shaving experience. The head smoothly swivels to adapt to the contours of your face providing a close shave.
I feel that this razor has given me a shave similar to a hot towel shave in a barbers, it seems to have been gentle on my sensitive skin and has caused less irritation.
I feel that the cost of the razor is quite high and the cost of replacement blades is excessive however, I feel that the benefits this has given me with my sensitive skin out weighs that cost. I would recommend this razor particularly to those with sensitive skin.
I have tried many different shavers over the years and this one is one of the very best. The heated element means that it feels much more comfortable against your skin so enables a much closer and comfortable shave than a standard razor. It’s easy to set up and charge and comes in nice packaging so could make also make a great gift. This is a premium product and is worth every penny.
The product certainly looks premium when you receive it – unboxing it is on a par with getting the latest mobile phone. Both the razor and the charging dock are sturdy and well-made, and look the part. You need to charge it for about an hour before the first use, so bear that in mind when getting it out for the first time!
There are two heat settings on the razor – the heat makes for an especially smooth and comfortable shave, and is pretty instant once you’ve turned it on. It’s definitely a feeling I’ve not had from any other razor, and it’s much better than a standard Gillette razor. It appears to give a slightly closer shave as a result.
Once fully charged, you can get a few shaves out of it before having to charge again. This means that the travel case, which holds just the razor and not the charging dock, is fine for a trip away of maybe up to a week, depending on how often you shave.
While it gives a great shaving experience, the biggest sticking point is the price – you’re paying over 100 more than a standard Gillette razor in order to get a heating function, with replacement blades costing twice as much as, for example, a Fusion 5 razor. But overall, this is a great product, and could make a fantastic Christmas present for someone.
It is firstly, super easy to charge and very portable to get around, with a carry round case, meaning that it is ideal for travelling.
Upon using, the heating option for the razor feels amazing. It genuinely feels like a hot towel with every stroke. Like with all Gillette razors, the quality of the actual razor is second to none and I feel assured that given this is a durable product, it has a long life and will pay for itself over time. Post shave my skin was very smooth with no irritation. All in all would recommend.
If there was one thing I would argue could be improved, it would have been good if there was maybe some additional shaving foam or a shaving bag perhaps, as you are paying a premium for this product, so an extra to reflect this would have been nice.
Overall I am really happy with this purchase and it definitely has the feel of a luxury product which I was hoping for.
I absolutely loved the box and the packaging. It made it look premium and very elegant. The colours on the razor were very eye catching. The product shape and size were very masculine. It made me feel like I had a power tool in my hand!
I will be honest, it took me quite a while to set it up and it was a bit faffy but once charged, the heating element was very soothing. I hate shaving normally but using this razor has made it quite enjoyable. The warmth on the skin is very appealing and really helps to get a close shave.
It is quite expensive but I do think it’s well worth it. I am sure it will last me a very long time and it saves me on going to barbers for a hot towel shave which will save me money in the long run.
My one gripe is the charging socket only has 2 pins so I had to go and buy an adapter so I could charge it in a UK socket.
Quite a niche product but after first use you can see why some people would love this. Contrary to other reviews I did find that it feels quite hot on the face and really does feel different to the normal shaving experience. Though a strange sensation at first touch it does feel pleasant once you get used to it. The only downside is the lack of a trimming blade since I used this regularly on my fusion razor.
The shaver is well made and has some weight to it, looks and feels like a premium product. It charges in about an hour to charge on the cool stand; you can also charge it in the travel case, which is handy if you are away. I was unsure bout the heating element, but after a few uses I quite like it, and it gives a great close shave. The travel case is handy, but it would be great to have some extra room for the plug and razers for an extended holiday.
The only problem is the Price of both this and the replacement blades currently on Amazon for 42 for eight, I have been using Harry blades for about a year now, and although this product gives a better and closer shave, I don’t think I can justify the extra cost. I hope the cost of the blades comes down and I can use this more.
