Just got this in today. I opted for the 1/8″ side attachment, as I had some very thin strips to cut on the table saw. It comes in pieces and you have to assemble but worth the assurance of knowing that my hands stay away from the saw blade. Great product. I hold it in high regards as to safety. It worked very well and am glad I purchased the product prior to some 13/32″ cuts on my table saw. I would highly recommend if shop safety is an issue.

Overall I’m really happy I bought this, I don’t want to take any chances when it comes to safety in my workshop, especially with a table saw that will easily take off your fingers before you know what’s happened. The ripper gives you much more control when performing a cut on the saw, particularly when cutting smaller pieces or strips of timber.

It certainly takes a little bit of time to set up before a cut, so if you’re being paid by the hour this might not be ideal for you, but for me I have no issues spending 30 seconds getting this set up before the cut and feeling more in control and safter because of it.

It’s a solid and well thought out design, but I can’t help but think it’s a little expensive for what it is. In my mind I think it would be a no-brainer at half the price, but at full price I think it’s starting to get slightly hard to justify. But in context I would much rather the pain of spending a little bit more on this, but keep all of my fingers!

Even at this price, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend, and I would buy another one. Highly recommend!

Je pense que pour le prix du produit, le kit devrait tre inclus.
Aprs la scurit n’a pas de prix
Je vous conseille fortement ce produit pour viter que la pice de bois vous chappe et risquer l’accident fatal avec une scie sous table.

Do to a bad experience in college, I don’t like removing the safety guard, but it was essential to do the work I needed to do.
This made me feel very confident and secure that I could control the wood over the blade and get no kickback!

For the price you would have expected to get the MICROJIG Gravity heel kit with it, but having said that it is a must for a Table saw &Router table

Initially may seem pricey but it’s worth every penny. You can make ridiculously narrow cuts safely and effectively which would be impossible without it. It’s easy to adjust and the green grips hold firm even on smooth MDF. Gives you a level of confidence in the table saw (even though the thing still scares me!) to be able to make the cuts I need.
Really worthwhile purchase and so glad I got one.

Well made and accurate but not particularly good value at 42.00 which is about a third of the cost of a magnificent, extremely well designed DeWalt Rolling table saw stand which is just abut the best value of anything I have bought in recent years.
The cheaper copy version is 29.00 but when the carriage of 7.00 is added you might as well buy this one for the small difference in price.
Came with the best printed instruction book I have seen for a long time.

I jumped and brought one and am genuinely happy with it. It is sturdy and strong plastic and really does grip both parts of wood that get cut. I feel much safer using it, would recommend.

I disliked the price a lot, the Stateside price is so much lower. The Americans wouldn’t buy it at this price in dollars.!!
The item itself is excellent and, you can’t put a price on safety.!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a very useful tool which, if used correctly, makes using large workshop tools (table saw, table router, jointer, etc.) LESS dangerous – they will always be dangerous. It is well made and functions very well. However it is very expensive for what it is and particularly if you want any of the upgrades or need two of them. There are alternatives that can be made from scrap wood which appear to be effective (see Steve Ramsey on a certain video streamer – unfortunately I saw it after buying my gripper).

Keeps hands and fingers away from cutting edges. I haven’t used it a lot but seems that it will do the job ok .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUndoubtedly the best push block out there in terms of effectiveness and design. But by god is it pricey for a few bits of 3D Printed plastic and rubber pads.

The design allows you to open the block up to let the blade pass under (if on a saw) which is helpful and safe.
The rubber feet pads give good resistance when pushing stock through allowing for pressure forward and against the fence at the same time. Which is what is so good about it.

I have two now but buying each ome made me flinch at the price. Could be cheaper but then why would the company reduce the price if they sell as well as they do?

I had been pondering whether or not to buy one of these for a while now, as I was concerned it was a little overpriced. Having finally taken the plunge though, I am very happy with my purchase. I can now use my table saw much more safely and make consistent reliable passes, securely holding the material. I would recommend this to anyone who knows (like I did) that they could be using their table saw more safely.

This product is sturdy and well designed.Unfortunately to achieve the full potential use of this pushblock you need to purchase the Grak-404 advanced kit. The items seem rather overpriced, but just enjoy using this excellent product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery good mouldings. Well thought through in terms of assembly with admirable supporting documentation.
Not a cheap product – but that is known prior to purchase.
This feels a safe product to use – and I have no desire to have my fingers accompanying sawdust on the garage floor.
As a born again woodworker after a spell of many years ‘off the job’ would recommend this product.

Every YouTube video I watch has this item in when someone is using a table saw. Expensive but provides a flexible and stable way to support wood.

Without a doubt I would recommend on the basis I still have all my limbs.

Good piece of kit but will not cover all scenarios of cuts on a table saw The main thing that let’s it down is it’s price. So only 4*

It’s lost a star, as although a great bit of kit on the whole, you really need 2 if using larger material, and it’s very expensive for what it does.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAn absolutely brilliant and safe working tool everyone should have in their workshop.
Easy to set up and use. It grips the wood unlike anything else I have ever seen and is a gem when it comes to safety and getting your fingers cut off. Worth every penny. Don’t delay guys and get one of these now – I guarantee it.

Haven’t used it yet but from what I know of it from quality tradesmen it is a great tool as far as safety is concerned there is as we know no shortcuts. The tool provides just that safety on table saws.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI just got this and tried it out…its really robust; the price is a bit high but haveing lost the tip of a little finger to a saw I dont want to loose another…in the next few weeks if its as good as it seems then I shall buy a second one.
Update… I have I a second one for over six month now and I find them both well worth the money…I would advise anyone who worked with a circular/table saw to get these

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersPush sticks are fine….. but until you’ve experienced kickback, you won’t fully appreciate how good the GRR-Ripper is. It clamps the work piece and the off cut at the same time when using a table saw and it is 100% stable. I’m a member of a woodworking community and I’ve seen the results of several accidents. Missing finger tips don’t look like fun. If your wood catches the blade and spins, the best result will be a piece of wood hitting your stomach at 100mph. The worst would be it jerking your hand towards the blade and you losing a finger or even slitting your wrist. These aren’t cheap in England but I can’t put a price on safety and neither should you. It’s not like you’re buying a new one each month because it’s brilliant design means that you can grip your work safely without having to make sacrificial cuts into the GRR-Ripper. I get paid by the hour. One visit to the hospital for stitches would be more costly than buying one of these.

This product is great and allows a much safer environment around the table saw. It does come from the USA so delivery is a little longer but the price includes all import and duty so no worries there.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersIf you use a table saw, router etc then this is a must purchase. This product is very well made and easy to put together. it allows the work to be pushed though the cutting tool with little to no risk of kick back (table saw). Obviously this isn’t fool proof and normal safe working practices should be adopted. This is better than any other push stick device I have used. There are lots of you tube videos showing the uses of this device and many makers use them everyday. Yes its at a high price point but I think its worth the money given the control and safe operation you get with its use. Look youtube to see it in action and make you decision. I don’t think you will regret it. But be safe with any cutting machine you use. Here ends the lecture!
