Good value for money.
Lovely tv
My kids like that it switches off and into standby mode by a curtain affect – blacks out from both sides and meets in the middle.
Good sound
Good picture
Second attempt at pickup
I had previously arranged a return of faulty item and it wasn’t done so I rearranged pickup yesterday and it was collected earlier today that’s a good service just awaiting my cash refund now
Bracket needed
This was bought to replace my Daughters main tv in her living room it looks good & works well but unfortunately didn’t fit her original bracket so had to get a new one
Purrrrrfec
Gr8 TV at a gr8 price for this size. Can go to all the channels I want immediately – Netflix, Disney, prime etc etc. Brilliant picture and sound. Recommended for all rooms in the house.
It’s super thin, sound is really loud at 20 god knows how loud 100 is ! Picture is incredible! I only paid 300 for this tv and was surprised that everything is already installed like Netflix prime Apple TV Disney ratoken all the players such as itv 4 bbc 5 all installed simply click scan the QR log in with your phone took less than 20 mins to take it out the box and set it up! What an absolute bargain and Hisense is becoming popular in my household! Superb
At 65 inches, it’s imposing. But as they say size matter…
For under 500 you get a big screen, a pretty decent picture, sure it’s not the best on the market but that’s why it is priced as it is. It has HDMI Arc so attaching the sound bar was a breeze. Lot’s of smart features, apps but NO Spotify which is a pain. The remote is slow. There is a noticeable delay between pressing the button and anything happening. The instructions are a bit pants but if you work your way through the various menu options, you will work it out and setting it up out of the box was a breeze
But those are the only 3 criticisms I can think of and for the price, I can live with them.
Definitely recommended if your in the market for a decent, large TV, packed full of features at a sensible price.
Great affordable TV
Really pleased with this TV. Great picture and sound. Delivered quickly in excellent condition. Using the TV with Sky Stream and enjoying the channels and features of the smart TV.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good value
Excellent picture and sound quality.Very good value for price
To our surprise
For general viewing the picture quality is good, sound excellent and contrast sharp. We’ve no complaints at all and are very pleased with our purchase. Ordered it on a Friday, told to expect it on the followinf Tuesday and to our surprise and delight it turned up the day after we ordered it. Marvellous.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing
Picture and sound quality is really good. Can’t find any downsides yet!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for the price
Great Tv , good picture and sound . Highly recommended. Easy to set up and use
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tv
Great tv at a good price, would highly recommended you will not be disappointed.
I have a samsung entry model in bed room. Wanted to buy a samsung again. But see this more affordable one, so changed my mind. I was worried I might regret before it arrived, because I never purchased Hisense before.
Once I open the box, I am happy with the looks of it, with the thin edge, the front doesn’t look like a entry level TV.
Both picture and sound quality are noticeably better than the Samsung in the bedroom.
Only downside is delay of game, my son complained about delay when he played online game when connected to it. For this price, should not complain about it with delay. For serious gamer may need a better one. For watching TV, Netflix.., won’t regret buying this.
5.0 out of 5 stars be aware
love the tv but make sure you have the right bracke
Love i
Got this tv for my dad as a replacement- it’s great picture quality is good and he is loving the sound as he is slightly deaf – he doesn’t need it as loud which is great so far so good
This is our 3rd Hisense and it wipes the floor with more expensive brands in terms of quality and reliability. Went for the 65” and it’s truly amazing. Run entirely as a smart to via the broadband. Has all usual apps installed. We switched from Samsung to Hisense few years ago. Forget the brand snobbery, incredible value for money in comparison. Highly recommended
Well my Samsung was outvofcdate with no upgrades available to keep pace with the constant marketplace. So took a risk and got the tv at half the price of a Samsung replacement. So far 3 months on and am glad I took the risk. It was easy to install and setup and biy does it deliver. I am now a converted buyer good bye Overpriced big names and hello to good quality competition. Get in before they go the way of other companies and charge you for the brand not the product. Regard to all.
The picture and sound are excellent. It’s just the remote is a bit sluggish and the channel it’s on has frozen a few times. I had to switch it off at the mains for a few minutes to get it to work again.
4.0 out of 5 stars Hisence
Bought 50 inch hisence TV .have also 43 inch which has a better picture than the 50 inch
Very good tv
No issues, picture quality is sharp, maybe the smallest gripe would be the volume isn’t the greatest, its not bad, but not like maybe a Sony … other than that it’s a great TV
Although it’s a nice tv it does pixilate a little at times and sometimes losses BBC tv & radio channels
Excelle
Brilliant picture quality and sound. Really defines everything and no colour mixing.
Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend.
Great Tv
I never really do reviews, but felt that I needed to for this amazing TV. I also realise how brain bending it is searching for a TV and being bombarded with so much info!!
What can I say, the TV is everything I had hoped for.
I was studying all the spec on TV’s 65″ around this price point, receiving mixed reviews, many people have suggested that the sound quality wasn’t that good, oh wow the Sound is Great.
Previously have owned Sony, LG & Samsung and I can say the sound is great & volume very high much better than the others.
In addition the Picture quality is awesome, high def & 4k looks breathtaking and just draws you in.
We have quite a light lounge during the day and the TV performs great, previously had a high spec LG and the picture was barely visible on sunny days and having to shut the curtains, not ideal!
Seriously your search is over and save yourself a fortune on this amazing TV..
Good value
For the price a good bit if kit.
Picture is not as sharp as I had hoped even when pulling UHD through sky. But for the money I can’t complai
65inch - Best purchase to date
I am very happy with my purchase. It was worth saving for. Picture quality is great!
Brillia
This is a fantastic fb for the money. Would recommend to anyone
Brilliant tv for the price definitely recommend
Brilliant tv for the price, easy to set up, would definitely recommend
I didn’t receive a stand with my television and when I purchased the item I should have had one
Absolutely amazing tv for the price , frameless design looks really nice , speakers are not that great but i did not expect much as i have a sound bar , truly impressive picture , loads of options to mess about with in the settings and the software for running apps is fast and very responsive
Got this to replace my 43inch Toshiba.
Better picture quality, blacks are black with no funny blurring.
Sound is good as well.
Lots of apps and easy to select Amazon, Netflix etc.
You can even plug in a satellite dish, though tuning takes ages and you get multiplied channels (8 versions of itv), the schedule view is lousy as well.
Cons are: manual is onscreen. The booklet that comes with it basically says turn on and follow onscreen guide. Trial and error got it going quite well.
TV guide and choosing to view, record or timeshift is not very intuitive.
Update: BBC HD channels showing instead of SD.
Stuttering picture on start up but this goes after few seconds.
Sound delay on changing channels.
Watching at an angle is not so good, washes out colour.
Awesome size , loafs of settings for sound and picture , and general things I never new you can do , connected to WiFi easily , picture and sound is imax quality when I watch movies, it’s awesome
I bought this for my bedroom, I was looking for a 4k screen tv that also played MP4, MKV etc videos from an external USB flash drive and it plays them no problem. Picture quality is good nothing brilliant but it’s fine for watching in my bedroom. Dolby Vision doesn’t compete with the Dolby Vision on my LG OLED tv but it does the job. I like the fact that it has an option for night mode in the sound setting so as to not disturb neighbours or other family members. It has a good range of apps Disney plus, Netflix, Prime video, Youtube etc and connects wirelessly no problem. I would recommend this tv for a spare room or bedroom and it supports 4k.
I brought this TV purely for the Ps5, gotta say with game mode on it looks fantastic, speakers are okay but could of been better, as I said though great for the price if your just looking for a gaming Tv.
Having got rid of my 65 inch Toshiba fire TV because it was simply utterly useless, I bought a 65 inch high sense and I have to say it really is the best TV I’ve ever had, delivered on time and really easy to set up, believe me if you want an easy set up Buy one, 10 out of 10
The price is affordable, you can watch a lot of TV programs, all kinds of TV channels, and you can link the keyboard and mouse to use the web page like a computer.
Picture: Average. It’s clear and bright but the blacks are grey so the contrast isn’t amazing. Still, it’s great for the money.
Audio: Get a sound bar. The treble and mids are clear and not scratchy. The bass doesn’t exist, at all.
Parental Controls: Simple to set up and effective. Entering your PIN once unlocks it for the session. Switching off the TV locks it again.
Apps: The selection is fair, and relevant for the area.
As for the part that surprised me: I put in a 256gb NTFS formatted USB stick and… it worked (TCL Android didn’t recognise it). Not only that, but it supported most of the media (some .avi files didn’t play). It also found and used the subtitle .srt files.
So, if you want a basic TV with good parental controls and good support for external media, I wholly recommend this, just buy a sound bar.
My first 4K tv, shows & games look considerably better.
Although I am struggling with black levels, some dark scenes in the new last of us show for example, are just a mess. Overall its a great price for a decent upgrade coming from 1080p.
4 stars for the tv, minus 0 stars for the delivery organisation, that was very very irritating to be honest. went for the 58 instead of the 55 just for the small bit of difference. Size is suitable if using in a room where view space isn’t to far. Sound is ok not as bad as reviews say but There is a slight feed back with sound at times but nothing major. set up was fine and connected to my Alexa quite easily although not necessary as the remote has voice control functions. As a gadget person I would definitely recommend this tv, I have a well known brand screen in another room and quality is very similar apart from the sound thing. Also handle with care Front screen feels like wate
Had it for a month then i couldn’t get bbc1 or bbc2 screen in them channels went green and fuzzy but bbc1 hd and 2 hd were working just fine so that told me it’s a fault with TV .was really happy with it until the problem .got my money back asap now waiting on a 65inch Toshiba coming tommorow fingers crossed it’s ok and not faulty
very good transaction was delivered perfect two days earlier than stated as for the tv i’ve had a few hisense tvs in the past and this is by far the best quaility i’ve got mine mounted on the wall it went up great the picture is good sound is good a lot better than you would expect from this price point i mean a uhd smart 65 inch flatscreen for under 500 is great value and i would highly recommend.
Good picture quality, tou need to play with the setting to switch off auto dimming and stuff but once you configure it to your need it’s quite good.
A couple of criticisms. Basic remote and no setting preset programming. You cant just click one button on remote to change settings, you need to do this manually each time. Playing videos from USB can be a bit buggy (although useable) when you play videos via USB they sometimes say it doesn’t recognise the file and you have to reset to factory settings to make it work again.
Theres no way to forget connection info without restoring to factory settings.
Power consumption is high. It’s an F rating in UK.
Appart from these litte snags it’s quite a good TV. Some people are complaining about the sound but sound is suitable it you live on a semi with next door neighbor’s.
The refresh rate is good for gaming. The colours are vivid.
For the price tag, this is a steal.
Update: the TV hangs a lot. Had it less than a month and it keeps freezing sporadically for a few minutes befor working fine agai
Now, as a reviewer of many items, I like to test products thoroughly and see how they fare over time during real-world use. I’ve waited for over 6 months to review this 55″ Hisense 55A6GTUK 4K TV so I could thoroughly put it through its paces and give a fair opinion on its overall performance. I have to say, it’s been a bit of a bargain that hasn’t disappointed me after prolonged use and has been well above my expectations.
It provides a clear quality relatively vibrant viewing experience that we have just about set up perfectly for our preferences through the easy-to-navigate onboard settings. The sound is surprisingly good and provides a decent tone and a nice hint of bass, making it great for movies and music, but just as useful for gaming where this TV has performed very well. Being a smart TV there it is packed with features and apps etc that enhance the viewing experience and this is where the TV comes to life as it’s a fast, smooth operating system that doesn’t have that slow clunky feeling that many smart TVs often have. With prime Video built-in with plenty of 4K movies to view, it’s a joy to watch and shows images as intended with bright whites and deep black tones that add real depth. Add a 4K Firestick and it’s an even more joyous affair as the TV’s remote and settings are geared up to function and run smoothly with the device, making it feel like an inbuilt app and not a standalone bit of kit.
Gaming is fun and there is no discernable lag or ghosting with a Series S at 4K though I play at 1080p 120hrz as the difference is night and day in terms of gameplay, particularly when playing FPS games etc. It’s great fun.
In summary, at this price, the 2021 version is a steal and one that I would highly recommend as the last 6 months have been a pleasure with this bargain of a TV.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.
All the bes
Only thing I think could be better is the sound.
It’s ok but i love more base. When changing the equaliser settings to increase the base it sounds worse.
I stuck to the theatre mode but think i’ll buy a sound bar.
