Comfort is no joke, and the audio is quite exciting
I bought these headphones for their comfort alone (as I usually use a pair of earphones for their amazing audio quality), but was amazed at how amazing they sounded.
Though the booming base of other gaming headsets is still somewhat present, these headphones still give amazing sound quality at other frequencie as well, without sacrificing details in between.
The comfort is second to none, with leather (or cloth, which come with the headset as well) memory foam earcups, these headsets almost float on your head, to the point where the only reason I was aware of them being on my head, was the preasure from my glasses on my ears). The clamping force isn’t too high either (even for my massive head).

Great sound, really comfy to wear, Great value for money, I’ve had quite alot of headsets, these are the best so far for the money.
Almost perfec
These would be perfect if they had a single audio output. They come with 2, one optimized for calls and the other optimized for gaming/music/videos. The ‘gaming’ output is terrible for calls and the ‘calls’ output is terrible for music. This means that if you want to listen to music and get calls frequently, you have to remember to switch the output (on Windows) every time which is quite bad.
Other than that, sound and mic quality is amazing.
Sound Quality is excellent, Is better than Cloud II. However microphone is average at best.
The microphone could be better, although i never found any issues, I can be too quiet when speaking among other gamers. Cloud II had better microphone, but Cloud Alpha s has better sound and also alpha s has better surround 7.1. Most important is has better imaging which means you can locate noises location better, This is 100% true, It is excellent at sound location for gaming.

Fantastic headset for a great price
Fantastic headset for the money, I used to own the hyperx cloud 2 headset until they gave up on me. It’s a good upgrade but not worth it if you already have a working cloud 2 headset. But other than that the sound is fantastic and very comfortable for long periods of time.
Good produc
Seeing as they are permanently attached to my sons head I’d say they work very well and that he’s happy with them. Especially now he can’t hear when he’s being asked to empty the dishwasher!!

By far the best headphones that I have used and in my opinion the best headphones for 119.99 and below. Extremely comfortable, cancels noise very well and the 7.1 is the ultimate best feature, Well worth the money

Great headset, 100% worth the price!
Great headset. Amazing sound quality, and I love the included cloth ear pads as I like to be able to hear some surroundings. The mic monitoring feature is also useful so I can stop myself from being too loud. Extremely comfortable too. The 7.1 surround sound would be good for shooting games however I would not recommend you use it for any other purpose. The bass sliders do not make a huge difference. They don’t really affect the bass it self, they just allow the bass to shake the drivers at high volume.

Bought for my husband for Chrysler present. He’s using them for working from home mainly and is very impressed. He can’t hear other things going on around he I’m T home and is working from the dining room. He loves them
The sound is mediocre. Not worth the price.
The bass is one of the major letdowns for me. It lacks quality and presence. The bass sliders seem to make very small impact on the bass. The microphone is also terrible when compared to others in this price class and considering that the cloud cores cost a quarter of the price with an equivalent mic is disgracful from hyperx. Not to mention that i prefer the deeper and more rich low end sound from the hyperx cloud cores.
Overall, this headset is not worth the price considering previous hyperx products and other products on the market. If you really want a headset from hyperx, I’d recommend the cloud alpha/II’s.
Not sure about the 7.1 but it sounds good
Not an audio file by any means. I don’t feel like the fake 7.1 adds anything to my gaming experience. Directional audio in shooters is pretty good. They are loud and clear. Fit is awesome and zero fatigue after hours of use.
