The product as it stands is excellent, as is the app that controls the lamps. But, to be clear, to integrate with Alexa (or Google) you will need also to buy the Smart Bridge that links the account that you register for these lamps to Alexa. The Smart Bridge (Hao Deng) is available from Amazon. It is not needed if you don’t need to integrate with your voice speaker. Also the Smart Bridge has a continental plug, but a converter is supplied, but this makes it slightly bulky, so you may need to hide somewhere. Note also that (as with many Smart sockets/lights etc.) it requires 2.4GHz WiFi, so you may need to disable your 5.0GHz signal (or change its SSID, so you can be sure that you are using the 2.4GHz) during setup of the smart bridge. Otherwise linking was extremely easy and faultless in operation.

Small yet very effective. Bright consistent LED lights. Love the choice of warm or cool white, dimmable, time setting, all through the app. Easy to install, ours are in our decking around the hot tub. Hope to buy another set next year.
These came packaged in a decent cardboard box, with a small amount of plastic waste.
This is a nice set of ‘deck’ lights, but of course you can use them anywhere, including indoors. As long as you have space for them to fully recess then they should be good to go.
The build quality of these lights is quite good, with strong clips to hold them in place, nice thick cables and excellent finishing. I am impressed at such a relatively low price.
As for use, you are really dependent on the specific app they require. Luckily it works with both devices I have tried. It’s quite a full app with the ability to change colour temp, brightness etc. Not perfect by any means, but better than I was expecting. Overall setup of three lights took less than ten mins, in terms of the software.
These run off a ful 3-pin UK plug, so despite the IP67 rating you will need a special waterproof outdoor socket to use them. (or a very long waterproof extension to an indoor socket). The lights themselves seem to hold up to rain reasonably well, although I wouldn’t have them in standing water.
Overall, although a generic product with many similar sets out there, I can say these work fine and aren’t expensive, so give them a try. Four stars.
I am writing this after around 6 months, as the Power adapter developed a fault, and I have contacted amazon, who were not willing to help, and ask me to contact the seller. When I contacted the seller, they were helpful, and posted the compatible power unit, which resolved the issues. Highly recommended based on my experience.
Really impressed with the finish! App wouldn’t pair initially I needed to go through the pairing process(ball ache) a couple of times before my iPhone 12 picked the lights up. Once paired these lights are top drawer, the landscape gardener who fitted them now recommendeds these for all his projects. Really impressed!
This is a very good set of LED lights which is not necessarily limited to decking, the lights have a multitude of applications, both outdoors and indoors. The pack of six we ordered came in a nice and informative presentation box, which contained the light units, an LED controller, a power adaptor, four small screws (for mounting the controller and adaptor), and an instruction manual. The components have a waterproof rating of IP67, which is more than adequate for outdoor use, but bear in mind that the power adaptor comes with a 3-pin plug, which is only suitable for use in a waterproof outdoor socket (unless using indoors and running the cable outside of course).
37.99 for a pack of six lights may seem expensive, but considering the overall quality of the components included, and the fact that you can simply plug in additional light units, the pack then becomes more reasonably priced. However, it might be worth working out how many lights you really want before ordering, because the bigger the pack, the cheaper it works out per light unit, and if you have some left over it’s always handy having a spare or two.
These light were surprisingly bright and have a nice polished silver effect which makes them look very stylish and modern.
They will be going into the decking once the winter months give in, but for this review we hooked them up to test them. Now we cant wait to get them into the deck!

They are simply a plug in a go style with minimal effort. The remote works well and the Bluetooth connected first time. App allows you to adjust the brightness accordingly to your desire.
The lights themselves are a bit smaller than they look in the picture, however this will work out a lot better for us due to only having a small deck area. I reckon they would also look great in the house perhaps in the kickboards in a kitchen.

I used these as accent lights in a media wall I’ve built. Perfect for my needs as they are small but nice and bright. Very easy to install and set up, work great with the app.
Having long admired the lights on my brother’s decking, I figured I could do the same. I really like these lights as they are particularly small and dainty, which is super for my small decking area. They appear well made and fit together well. Easy to install, with a delicate finished look which I really like. If you want a bigger, bolder and brighter experience, these might not be for you, unless you place them closer together.
Before I get onto the lights themselves I would like you to stop and think for a moment. Think about what “Deck Lights” mean to you. I can almost guarantee that the 1st thing that sprang to mind was a a patio, wooden decking, garden and lights. Now think again and think of kitchen or lounge with laminate flooring. Think of how cool the room would look with floor lighting, shining upwards.
These lights are very much mistaken for external use only and yet they can be great indoors as well. All it takes is a little imagination and these lights can be suitable in many places that you would never have considered.
Now for the lights themselves, the first thing to note is that the spring clips are strong so these lights shouldn’t become loose once they are installed. At this point you need to note that it is very important to follow the instructions and make sure any holes bored are exactly to the dimensions mentioned. The reason being that for outdoor use, many people complain about similar lights taking in water. It is not the lights nor the fittings that cause the problem but the installation itself. The connectors for these lights are very good and if connected correctly and the covering caps are screwed tightly there should be no issue with water getting into the connections, even during downpours. The same with the bored holes, if they are bored correctly no water should get in. However, if water issues still concern you it is a simple job to seal the connectors with some insulating tape or a bit of silicon adhesive. Silicon adhesive around the lamps will also prevent any water seping through the hole.
The images that I have attached should give you a good idea regarding the quality and the power of these lights. The clips show as being as strong as they are so they can hold the lights in almost any type of material, strongly. You can see all the light that is being released around the units and you should be able to imagine the unit being completely sealed and all that energy being directed upwards only.
The bulbs are bright and floor lighting, shining up, creates a great relaxing light. It is common to only think of lighting as wall, ceiling or hanging lights but floor lights are not commonly thought of and yet they are really good.
These Decking Lights will also look good on balcony rails, for those late summer nights. Have a few friends around, a few beers, a bit of wine, some nice snacks, a bit of background music and a bit of low lighting coming from the balcony rail make a great end to a warm night.
These lights are not overbright nor are they too dim, they are just right for relaxing times.
With the Bluetooth and the App you can increase or dim the lights so you can even lower them enough to see and yet still see the stars, if you are lucky enough to not live in a city and have too much light polution.
I am recommending these lights as they are so many options for their useage, they are well made to a good standard. Looked after, these lights will last many a year so they are good value.
These decking lights work in series with one another, so each one links to the next. It’s pleasing that it has a a normal plug on the adapter, which makes it easy to install in an outdoor waterproof socket. Most outdoor lights have an adapter in the plug, which is too big to fit in a sealed external socket.
I must point out that these are far smaller than I expected. The picture gave the impression that they would be as big as drinks cans, however they’re barely bigger than my thumb.
These are easy to wire up and, to the credit of the small size, it does make them easy to drill holes to install.
It’s currently too wet out to install these in my garden, however they will be going out when we develop our patio are later in the year. They’re small enough to fit on a vertical raised wall that we’ll be building to raise the patio up.
Definitely recommended. Just be conscious of the small size when ordering.

We purchased this to finish off our decking installed in the summer. We are pleased with the lights and use them most evenings.
Easy to install, just a case of drilling the holes with a hole saw and then pushing the lights down into place. Cables then interconnect to give a daisy chain of lights.
The app that you can get for your phone is easy to use. You can set a number of preset and then easily switch between them. The setting to pulse with music is pretty fun for those BBQ parties.
Love these lights, they are very easy to install into the decking but we have real trouble connecting to them on the Hao Deng App, you have to be really close to the mesh box of the lights. Also we can’t connect them to alexa echo dot, we have the smart bridge connected but in the alexa app it won’t connect, it says power is off when opening the name of the lights….. can anyone help as this is the whole reason we bought the smart bridge, so we can control lights via alexa……

Look really nice when installed but I needed about 8 1 meter extensions And 2 3 meter extensions, these are pretty cheap just make sure you have enough. I don’t use the app etc as I just wanted them to be either on or off.
These are lovely little ambient lights. Just 4.5cm across – they’re very neat and unobtrusive, adding enough light to see our path by without blazing into the night and being intrusive for the neighbours (we live in a rural area with no street lighting. I didn’t install these quite as shown hard mounted into surfacing, because we don’t have any decking and our patio is a recent addition so I didn’t want to dig anything up in order to add these. Instead, I used the gravel channel along the edge of the patio and loose set these. So far, they’ve presented no problems for not being firmly fixed. If this hadn’t worked, I was thinking about adding them to the sides of a raised bed (if I’d done it this way, I’d have bought a wide drill bit to get the regularity of hole size needed). Gentle, warm white colour that has a cosy and appealing effect. I have a different-sized set from the same brand and would ideally have liked to connect them up – the end connectors make it appear physically possible – but since I wasn’t sure if the different power ratings of the LEDs would cause resistance problems for the electrics (and there was nothing to indicate whether this is safely possible), decided to err on the side of caution and keep the sets separate.
Work really well in the decking. Really easy install, just plug in and go. Ensure that you have power to the area.
Alexa integration only works with the additional smart hub.
Brightness can be changed and timers set to customise to your preference
A little care needs to be taken to ensure the tiny plug pins line up correctly. Otherwise a fantastic product. Easy to install in 35mm holes. We are really happy with the look, ease of fitting and cost.
Fitting these along a kitchen wooden kickplate (including hollowing out recesses for the lights) took just half an hour. The lights are easy to fit and can be easily controlled using a mobile phone. Colours are bright. The lights can even be set to keep time to music, giving an old-school disco effect that went down well with some of my friends, although it’s probably a setting to use sparingly or it could become annoying (unless you like the idea of living in a ’70s disco). Excellent value for money. Decent build quality. A good range of colour schemes and timings. No issues at all.
At last, I’ve had the chance to complete my decking project … lighting was pretty much all I needed to do and these RGBW Led lights (along with some additional kits) were perfect for the job.
As I already had wiring out there and a waterproof junction box it was a simple enough job with a hole saw (35mm) and at a meter apart, I had good spacing.
Using the app it was easy to adjust levels and colours and the fit and finish are very good. As for waterproof-ness … sods-law we haven’t had any rain since I fitted them but there is no sign of condensation.
Apparently they can be controlled by Alexa or other such things but being a Luddite I don’t have one.
Straightforward no fuss installation thanks to the design of the lights, cabling and connectors. I like the way the cables fit with snug fitting socket fittings then a screw on tightener that’s part of the structure so you don’t have to fiddle about with lots of fiddly little parts. In fact that’s true for all the parts there’s no odd loose little bits to fix on or mess about with the lights and cables are complete links in a chain you simply connect together and then connect with the power unit.

Great decorative lights ideal for outdoor use. First impressions are the lights are well made and all the seals are of good condition. Being IP67 rated these lights are waterproof and will withstand the strongest of storms. Although this is only a pack of 6 lights, you can easily expand this by buying another pack and joining the light cables together. Very versatile, easy to install, and good value for money.
Works great. App really needs to include Warm White in the custom patterns you can create. Currently working as plant illumination in my front yard. Tons of light output for how small these bulbs are!

There is also a with function and the lights can be dimmed or brightened too. The app is easy to use and very effective.

I’m really impressed with these LED deck lights, they’re just what we’ve been looking for and I love the flexibility they have with the downloadable app, such as timing patterns and brightness control. Ideal for me as I’m photosensitive so the ability to dim the lights is important.
The lights are a doddle to set up and fit. All the fittings between power cable and control are push fit and have a screw collar to ensure they stay put. The push fittings means that these are also expandable with the the same power cord and mesh controller.
To fit they need a 35mm hole drilling and then push in, you need access under the decking during fitting to out all the electrical wiring in place as you need to push the light in and then connect. The light fitting itself including the metal ring is approximately 4.5cm with the bulb area being approximately 3cm, so they’re quite small and unobtrusive. When fitting the lights themselves need to be less than 3 metres between bulbs and between the first bulb and the controller, so plenty of scope for a good and decorative fit.
The app is easy to use and the lights connected to the app first time and was very straightforward to do. All in all this is an excellent product which offers flexibility in use and offer good value for money for the functionality. We love these lights, so recommended from our family to yours.

Packaged well and presented in this stunningly, kaleidoscope style, box. The contents include the 6 led lamps. One plug, one led controller, screws provided also and instructions.
I love the design of these. They’re made well. They’re made from anti corrosion material. I really like the design. I like the flat, smooth head on top. They’re easy to figure out how to work too.
Each item attaches to the next via a connector which pushes and screws in place. The plug connects to the led controller box, then this connects to the first led lamp and then each one connects the next. This is slightly fiddly but not hard. Both the power box and controller box can be screwed and mounted onto the wall. These are waterproof, dustprood and moisture proof. They’re nice and small so they do not stick out too much.
These led lights can be put into most things like decking, laminate flooring, majority of the garden. Each light has to be at least 3 feet from the next one. The depth these led lamps need to go in, depends on the size you have, it will say in the instructions. This covers a good amount of distance. They’re extremely bright, lighting up any area easily, even the darkest of places.
These did come on straight away as soon as I connected and plugged them in. Each one working perfectly. They can also be turned on and off via the app. I struggled to find this app. They can also be connected to the wifi.
These are really stylish and modern looking. Making my entrance down the side of the house, from dreary because of the winter, to classy! The lights are really bright. This helps loads. They’re easy to install and put together. They seem very durable. Each connecting wire is brilliantly strong.

I wanted some nice deck lights that would work with Alexa but also have an app and remote to control them as well.
these fit the bill perfectly, easy to install and set up, app is ok and does what it needs and the little remote means there are plenty of options to control them.
Plus the fact they have a massive selection of colours is a nice touch for when you fancy a change
In the box are the lights, a 12V fully encapsulated power supply, a Bluetooth interface, screws, a blanking cover, and sets of instructions. The parts daisy-chain together with screw-together waterproof connectors; the lights can be positioned about 1 metre apart. The lights are controlled with the Hao Deng app: I downloaded it from the Play store, registered and searched for the lights which it found very quickly but then refused to connect. I reset the lights by turning them on for 5 seconds, then off, and repeated 5 times until the lights flashed, this time the app connected and I was able to control colour, including cool and warm white, brightness, flashing modes and various other modes as well as timers etc. Bluetooth connection seemed solid and the lights were quick to respond. The lights appear to contain 3 LEDs and given a uniform colour and brightness, construction seems robust and they are well sealed against water. The screw-together connectors contain an O-ring to prevent water ingress, the Bluetooth receiver is well sealed and the power supply is encapsulated. Installing the lights look straightforward. Good quality, versatile decking lights.

Very nice product. Simple to install. They are completely flush so they aren’t raised in any way.
Overall these sets of lights would be good as a start for most patios or can be used indoors as I’ve tried to set it up in my room.
They are small, so don’t expect to illuminate the whole garden, but they’ve got the rifts amount of wiring to cover one side of the garden usually.
The instructions while a bit basic were not difficult and with a bit of trial and error I managed to get it working with my iPhone 8 Plus.

Also we can’t connect them to alexa echo dot, we have the smart bridge connected but in the alexa app it won’t connect, it says power is off when opening the name of the lights….. can anyone help as this is the whole reason we bought the smart bridge, so we can control lights via alexa……

Look really nice when installed but I needed about 8 1 meter extensions And 2 3 meter extensions, these are pretty cheap just make sure you have enough. I don’t use the app etc as I just wanted them to be either on or off.
These are lovely little ambient lights. Just 4.5cm across – they’re very neat and unobtrusive, adding enough light to see our path by without blazing into the night and being intrusive for the neighbours (we live in a rural area with no street lighting. I didn’t install these quite as shown hard mounted into surfacing, because we don’t have any decking and our patio is a recent addition so I didn’t want to dig anything up in order to add these. Instead, I used the gravel channel along the edge of the patio and loose set these. So far, they’ve presented no problems for not being firmly fixed. If this hadn’t worked, I was thinking about adding them to the sides of a raised bed (if I’d done it this way, I’d have bought a wide drill bit to get the regularity of hole size needed). Gentle, warm white colour that has a cosy and appealing effect. I have a different-sized set from the same brand and would ideally have liked to connect them up – the end connectors make it appear physically possible – but since I wasn’t sure if the different power ratings of the LEDs would cause resistance problems for the electrics (and there was nothing to indicate whether this is safely possible), decided to err on the side of caution and keep the sets separate.
Work really well in the decking. Really easy install, just plug in and go. Ensure that you have power to the area.
Alexa integration only works with the additional smart hub.

Fitting these along a kitchen wooden kickplate (including hollowing out recesses for the lights) took just half an hour. The lights are easy to fit and can be easily controlled using a mobile phone. Colours are bright. The lights can even be set to keep time to music, giving an old-school disco effect that went down well with some of my friends, although it’s probably a setting to use sparingly or it could become annoying (unless you like the idea of living in a ’70s disco). Excellent value for money. Decent build quality. A good range of colour schemes and timings. No issues at all.
At last, I’ve had the chance to complete my decking project … lighting was pretty much all I needed to do and these RGBW Led lights (along with some additional kits) were perfect for the job.
As I already had wiring out there and a waterproof junction box it was a simple enough job with a hole saw (35mm) and at a meter apart, I had good spacing.
Using the app it was easy to adjust levels and colours and the fit and finish are very good. As for waterproof-ness … sods-law we haven’t had any rain since I fitted them but there is no sign of condensation.
Apparently they can be controlled by Alexa or other such things but being a Luddite I don’t have one.
Straightforward no fuss installation thanks to the design of the lights, cabling and connectors. I like the way the cables fit with snug fitting socket fittings then a screw on tightener that’s part of the structure so you don’t have to fiddle about with lots of fiddly little parts. In fact that’s true for all the parts there’s no odd loose little bits to fix on or mess about with the lights and cables are complete links in a chain you simply connect together and then connect with the power unit.

Great decorative lights ideal for outdoor use. First impressions are the lights are well made and all the seals are of good condition. Being IP67 rated these lights are waterproof and will withstand the strongest of storms. Although this is only a pack of 6 lights, you can easily expand this by buying another pack and joining the light cables together. Very versatile, easy to install, and good value for money.
Works great. App really needs to include Warm White in the custom patterns you can create. Currently working as plant illumination in my front yard. Tons of light output for how small these bulbs are!

The lights are a doddle to set up and fit. All the fittings between power cable and control are push fit and have a screw collar to ensure they stay put. The push fittings means that these are also expandable with the the same power cord and mesh controller.
To fit they need a 35mm hole drilling and then push in, you need access under the decking during fitting to out all the electrical wiring in place as you need to push the light in and then connect. The light fitting itself including the metal ring is approximately 4.5cm with the bulb area being approximately 3cm, so they’re quite small and unobtrusive. When fitting the lights themselves need to be less than 3 metres between bulbs and between the first bulb and the controller, so plenty of scope for a good and decorative fit.
The app is easy to use and the lights connected to the app first time and was very straightforward to do. All in all this is an excellent product which offers flexibility in use and offer good value for money for the functionality. We love these lights, so recommended from our family to yours.

Packaged well and presented in this stunningly, kaleidoscope style, box. The contents include the 6 led lamps. One plug, one led controller, screws provided also and instructions.
I love the design of these. They’re made well. They’re made from anti corrosion material. I really like the design. I like the flat, smooth head on top. They’re easy to figure out how to work too.
Each item attaches to the next via a connector which pushes and screws in place. The plug connects to the led controller box, then this connects to the first led lamp and then each one connects the next. This is slightly fiddly but not hard. Both the power box and controller box can be screwed and mounted onto the wall. These are waterproof, dustprood and moisture proof. They’re nice and small so they do not stick out too much.
These led lights can be put into most things like decking, laminate flooring, majority of the garden. Each light has to be at least 3 feet from the next one. The depth these led lamps need to go in, depends on the size you have, it will say in the instructions. This covers a good amount of distance. They’re extremely bright, lighting up any area easily, even the darkest of places.
These did come on straight away as soon as I connected and plugged them in. Each one working perfectly. They can also be turned on and off via the app. I struggled to find this app. They can also be connected to the wifi.
These are really stylish and modern looking. Making my entrance down the side of the house, from dreary because of the winter, to classy! The lights are really bright. This helps loads. They’re easy to install and put together. They seem very durable. Each connecting wire is brilliantly strong.
I would recommend these. I think they’re great. I would definitely have more around the garden. Nice, bright, classy and stylish.
I wanted some nice deck lights that would work with Alexa but also have an app and remote to control them as well.
these fit the bill perfectly, easy to install and set up, app is ok and does what it needs and the little remote means there are plenty of options to control them.
Plus the fact they have a massive selection of colours is a nice touch for when you fancy a change

In the box are the lights, a 12V fully encapsulated power supply, a Bluetooth interface, screws, a blanking cover, and sets of instructions. The parts daisy-chain together with screw-together waterproof connectors; the lights can be positioned about 1 metre apart. The lights are controlled with the Hao Deng app: I downloaded it from the Play store, registered and searched for the lights which it found very quickly but then refused to connect. I reset the lights by turning them on for 5 seconds, then off, and repeated 5 times until the lights flashed, this time the app connected and I was able to control colour, including cool and warm white, brightness, flashing modes and various other modes as well as timers etc. Bluetooth connection seemed solid and the lights were quick to respond. The lights appear to contain 3 LEDs and given a uniform colour and brightness, construction seems robust and they are well sealed against water. The screw-together connectors contain an O-ring to prevent water ingress, the Bluetooth receiver is well sealed and the power supply is encapsulated. Installing the lights look straightforward. Good quality, versatile decking lights.
