An alarm sound when you need to turn the food over half way during cooking would be useful. Otherwise it does a good job though I haven’t used half the options such as dehydriate etc.

I love this air fryer. Just upgraded from a small ninja. It took me ages to decide but the reviews persuaded me. Last night I did a small shepherded pie on one side and a rhubarb crumble on the other. Perfect!

Definitely a good size but will need to buy extras that’s needed for it I got 2 draners for the bottom of the drawers so as the fat is away from food that was it nothing even the instructions is a leaflet size 4 page book but on using it I’m impressed Definitely good item

Having had an Instant pot for well over 8 years and cooks most days in it, when it was time for an airfryer I decided on an instant. It is easy to use and clean, Im new to airfryers so can’t compaire but so far a great little oven. I normally use a small table top oven but since getting this I havent use it. The pre set setting are all good and easy to adjust to what you normally cook.

Buying an Air fryer is Life Changing.,So more more versatile and cheaper. These machines are ok for general stuff, I doubt you can cook a full dinner especially for more than two but you can cook most in the AF and odd veg on the cooker. HOWEVER… the chicken breasts, the roast potatoes, the chops and bacon just smash it out of this world. This particular model is amazing, from Air Fry to Roasting I am gobsmacked. Not tried Bake or the other settings yet but having two baskets, makes it a doddle for general meals for two.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and far cheaper than a Ninja.

Brilliant Air Fryer, easy to use and clean. Cooks really well, but remember to turn the food – especially if using tray liners. The only downside is the top of the machine is a fingerprint magnet and scratches very easily.

After trying to contact support and leaving numerous messages. Finally came across the correct support email address for the uk. [email protected]

Don’t bother using the US one as no one responds.

After finally using the correct address. My issue was resolved immediately.

Its so easy to use, the food comes out perfect and tastes way better than using a frying pan or the big oven. I wish I had bought one sooner. The double basket is a must if you want to cook two things at the same time like burgers and fries or onion rings.

I love this! Being a one person household it means quick hot meals without turning on the oven. I particularly love it for baked potatoes and the sweetest, tastiest corn on the cob I’ve ever tasted. Still learning new meals and wondering why it took me so long to plunge into the air fryer revolution.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this as I had a ninja single drawer and found it great but too small. I like that it is recommended by good housekeeping too.
First meal easy to use. The salmon wellington from Lidl fits in this and cooks up a treat. I can also sinc the broccoli and asparagus to be ready at the same time. Dinner fo four people sorted.
Best feature is the window and light inside so easy to see what’s going on without opening the drawers.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLove this air fryer, I use it most days, has lots of different functions, can roast, bake, airfry, dehydrate and grill. You can also sync the endings when you are using seperate draws which is very helpful, and cook on different temps in the different compartments. My favourite function is that you can remove the middle section to make one large draw, very versatile, easy to clean.
My only gripes are that the draw is a tiny bit too shallow for larger chickens/meant joints, I’ve misjudged it before and had the meat touch the element, taking out the bottom tray does help if this happens, also it’s not that much faster at cooking than my oven, my prev air fryer I would have to reduced the cooking time but 10/15mins as things cooked very quickly, this air fryer less so but I would still recommend this air fryer.

This Vortex Plus Versazone (8.5 XL) model is very versatile, has great smart features and is fantastic value at the current offer price. Being able to cook one big item (pizza, roast joint) or two smaller ones (at different settings) is very clever!

We use this almost every day. Love that you can put the light on to see what’s cooking. Cleaning by hand is better than DW (oil bakes onto drawer in DW). Gives out a lot of heat from the back – it melted a plug socket. Overall we absolutely love this

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI thought I wouldn’t use an air fryer – how wrong was I! Since buying this I haven’t used my big oven or my grill at all. Heats up incredibly quickly and cooks food faster too. Makes the best ever cheese toasties! Drawer is big enough for a small chicken which is perfect for me. So impressed I bought one for my daughter and she loves it too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased the air fryer for my wife back in April and have had no issues with it since we bought it until last week (11/09/23) when the draw began to not slide into the draw space properly.
I’m just waiting for the manufacturers to get back to me with the reason its happened and hopefully rectify the problem.

Once you’ve downloaded the basic instructions in the user manual and gone through all the information – it’s a sort of try and see situation.
I downloaded the lists of different cooking options times and temperatures for reference and printed them off before laminating them.
Really pleased with it so far.

    Cooks fast and well.

But it’s a bigger beast than you’d expect. It’s bigger than my microwave. Maybe my microwave is smaller than most – who knows…

The controls could be a bit more intuitive, but they can be figured out with practice.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHave been using this for a little while now so can make an informed review. I love this air fryer, the fact that I can see how food is cooking without opening the drawer is a real positive for me, it’s quick, efficient, convenient, energy saving and I wouldn’t be without it! I hardly use my big oven anymore, don’t need to as this machine cooks most things perfectly in record time, no waiting for it to heat up, literally ready to cook in seconds and cleaning it is a breeze, it’s non stick so no need for a dishwasher, it’s also cheaper than other leading brands, what more could you ask for?! Highly recommended!

The large basket is why it’s the best and the divider in there so I can cook small amount or different things at the same time and I cal also sync the cooking time. I’ve baked cakes, cook whole chicken and make chips. This air fryer can easily replace your oven. Love this air fryer so much.

We have had one for 6 months and love it so much that my in laws decided to buy one.

The best feature is having 2 separate draws.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ll start with the only complaint it was not obvious how to change from one zone to two zones. The best bit it cleans really really easy and I’ve done belly pork, things that spit etc and warm water with a bit of fairy and hey presto clean. I hardly use the oven now. The warm up time is a couple of minutes compared to 30 for my oven and that saves time and money. I’ve baked bread, apple crumbles etc. heated food up in it. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt must be the best airfryer on the market with so much space even with the divider in the tray two small points
stop me giving this a five first the light on the control panel is far to dark and also with the divider in some juices will go underneath which is pain if you are cooking different foods

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersMulled over getting an air fryer for a long time, reading reviews and watching videos online and eventually decided on the Instant Vortex and I’m so glad we did. It is so versatile, you have the best of both worlds either two separate cooking areas or one large area, it’s absolutely brilliant I haven’t used my cooker since it arrived. The large cooking area was the main reason we chose this one over the Ninja, I cooked a whole roast dinner in it with the dividing panel removed. This included potatoes, carrots, parsnips and mushrooms placed around a 1.7kg chicken. Don’t hesitate this will not only save you money on your electric it will change the way you cook.
The only minor criticism I have it comes with no instruction manual or recipes, instead all you get is 3 QR codes to download.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this after doing alot of research of dual drawer air fryers, it get used every day. Very easy to programme once you have got your head around the instructions. I did go on line and print out the full instruction book as I am a person who prefers to read instructions rather than look at them on my phone or watch videos. We have cooked all sorts and used the different functions as it doesn’t just air fry, it bakes, grills, etc. The only recommendation I would give to the manufacturers is to put a full instruction booklet in the box as not everyone has access to be able to print them ou

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had an air fryer for many years, my last was an Instant brand, which was great but i had to rotate and add food to be cooked together. I then saw the new version with no separate drawers that limit the size of what you are cooking, if you want this advantage.
This air fryer allows you to either cook a large quantity of food but also to divide the cooking sides and sync cooking times – I love it for convenience and the ability to cook different types of food to be ready at the same time. The website can also advise on dual cooking but the operating instructions are quite simple.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo far this has been a fantastic product. The 2 zones enable a complete meal to be done in a much reduced time from the oven using less energy in the process and creating less heat. The “timetable” guide is a useful start for timings/temperatures but Google helps when working out how long to air fry items for.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI literally reviewed air fryers to death and did a poll on social media before I even thought about buying this beauty. I realised all my friends had tried an air fryer but thought they needed another or a better one only a few weeks in. So I asked ” what type of air fryer would you suggest I buy so I don’t make the same mistake as every one else” seems the main answer was ‘go big, and instant came up several times and as I was not prepared to pay Ninja prices and I was not disappointed! To be fair I’m still getting used to it, but everything I’ve done so far has been great! If I have one gripe, it would be that, personally, I would have preferred a manual with it. It’s not easy when you are desperate to start cooking and you aren’t sure of timings to then have to download the manual.

The fryer itself is good. It is just I would have prefered one with two baskets with separate cooking times. Not really a fault with the fryer, more that the dropdown options available on the Amazon app were a little confusing.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI have been using this air fryer for 3 weeks now and am very pleased with the cooking results. Only used my regular oven once since receiving it. I find the option to have one large chamber or two smaller ones excellent. I prefer The option to choose your cooking mode, temperatures and time than having set modes that many others have. Being able to synchronise the double chamber is also great. The draw is very easy to clean. I do feel a bit concerned about how well I can keep clean the upper part of the chamber where the elements are. The fryer is not overly noisy or blasting hot air.
Food is so lovely and crispy when you want it. Toasted sandwich is a must. Worth opting to have a cooking thermometer just to check meats are cooked. The pre heat has made the cooking time feel longer than I expected, so I just need to get into the habit of starting it up during prep of meals. Much faster than your regular oven.
I have absolutely no regrets at buying this item.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMost air fryers focus on piles on food in a basket. We mostly wanted a spread out layer of food, so the versazone, with its ability to be one large or two small baskets, seemed like the right choice for us. So far we really like it. The display can’t be read in a bright location, but its fine where we have sited it. Its easy to control. It produces consistent results. The only downside for us so far is we have failed to find silicone basket liners that are safe, to really simplify keeping the machine clean.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersAfter having a ‘single’ air fryer for a while (and absolutely loving it), I’d started to look at dual ones. When cooking sausages and chips, I’d cook the chips for a bit, then put the sausages on top and continue cooking, but this was less than ideal as the sausages didnt brown properly and the end result was slightly disappointing.

I will admit that I chose this model primarily for the interface! Every other model has a single display for both the temperature and time. I much prefer separate displays, so I really liked the look of this model.

This thing is brilliant! Not only can I cook sausages and chips separately, I can have them finish at the same time! This is actually much more convenient than it sounds. I had taken to grilling the sausages whilst air frying the chips, and timing them both to finish together was tricky at best.

The control panel initially took some getting used to, not helped by the fact there are no printed instructions. You do get a QR code to scan, however, and this will supply you with both a quick start guide, and a detailed manual.

If I have one complaint, I wish the display was brighter and the beeper louder (actually that’s 2 complaints!). The beeper reminds you to add the food after preheating and also to turn during cooking, a great idea, but difficult to hear from another room.

I really like this, and I am getting used to all the different functions, I’ve used air fry for the aforementioned sausage and chips, and also roasted pork and gammon, both of which came out great.

I highly recommend this air fryer, you won’t be disappointed.

    Thanks for listening.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersFriends had been telling me for months how good air fryers were but never took any notice. Then looking on Amazon one day and see a deal for this with 50 off so i jumped at the chance. And although i have not used every setting available on this fryer so far i am very pleased an a convert. It’s a great way to cook. I’ve seen mixed reviews when it comes to using air fryers but so far with this Instant Vortex Plus cooking has been a breeze. Chips especially come out cooked amazingly, frozen or fresh. Although depending on where you look, cooking times do vary so they may need tweeking depending on your preference, but i have never had such crisp and fluffy chips ever. If you season them during cooking they come out even better. Sausages and fish also work out well, and the good thing i’ve never used any oil. This Instant Vortex comes with air fry, bake, roast, grill, re-heat and dehydrate modes. Only used the air fry and bake so far but am looking forward to trying the dehyrdate function to make dried fruit crisps.
This unit does not come with any accessories so also got a set of steel cooking racks and some silicon cooking baskets that come in handy. The dual drawers have windows so you can keep an eye on the food and each draw has its own light. It has a touch control panel except for the one main control knob which is great as it’s all just wipe clean. The unit i bought is the 7.6litre version, so 3.53litres per draw and they cook independently. One draw has enough room for one small chicken. Quicker cheaper and cooks well.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersFollowing years of avoiding purchasing an air fryer, due to adverse comments on the chemicals emitted on the digestive system, my husband strongly persuaded me to invest in one of these and he chose this one. It’s a man thing. I wasn’t convinced at first wanting a smaller model but he mentioned that what will hold a lot will hold a little, a Lancashire maxim. I am more than pleasantly surprised after only one week although haven’t used all the functions yet. I cooked butcher’s sausages previously frozen from fresh in the air fryer on the air fry setting in compartment one and good quality cherry tomatoes in the other. I forgot to press sync but I managed to time the food. (I’m 64 and have been cooking for 50 years at least without one of these. I wish I had one when my lads were small.) I must say both sausage and tomatoes were absolutely delicious, to my delight and amazement. The large tray is great and separator is a practical gadget. All is easy to clean using kitchen rolls initially then hot water and a little washing up liquid. I can’t wait to try a full guinea fowl or chicken in the large pan. If you enjoy food and cooking in general you will appreciate one of these models if you have the room. I have a small kitchen so have whizzed my deep fat fryer. No, I’m giving it to charity. Make space for one of these if you need to and be prepared to be amazed.

Golden Review Award: 36 From Our UsersI’ve been eyeing the Versazone air fryer for months now, and when the price finally went down on Amazon I just took the plunge and… Oh my, where has this thing been all my life?? As a busy working mum, this really is a LIFE SAVER. One of my kids’ staple meals is oven-baked sweet potato chips (made from scratch) + a protein-based side dish (fish fingers/ halloumi/ chicken nuggets). With the Dual Finish function, I can cook the chips in one basket and the protein side dish in the other, and set them to finish at the same time. Although it doesn’t have a delay start function, I can just set it to start before picking the kids up from school, and dinner will be ready by the time we get home!!! I don’t have to wait around for the oven to heat up anymore, nor wait for it to finish cooking to turn off the oven!!! This seriously saves SO MUCH time and makes dinner prep so much less stressful.

In a bid to convince that we DID need another cooking appliance (LOL), I made teriyaki salmon for the first time in years in the Versazone. Dumped some frozen sweetcorn cobettes into the other basket to make a complete meal (got leftover rice in the fridge as the carb). Both the salmon and the cobettes were cooked to PERFECTION. And it was soooo easy!!!!!

For me in particular, I find the air fryer really really convenient for cooking frozen vegetables. With fresh vegetables being so expensive these days, I am so pleased to have discovered a simple way of cooking cheap frozen vegetables that requires virtually NO PREPARATION – I’ve tried Brussels sprouts (1 kg for about 1 pound from Iceland), pre-cut Mediterranean vegetable mix (maybe 2 pounds for a bag; I get 4 portions out of it) and sweetcorn cobettes (4 for 1 pound from Iceland) so far and everything tasted absolutely amazing with just a few spritzes of oil and some salt and pepper. No cutting, no defrosting, no washing needed!!! WOW!!!!

Oh, and I’ve already baked a cake and a batch of cookies in it too. It all tasted amazing and took less time than the oven!!!

Honestly, SUCH a game-changer… It IS bulky, but soooo worth it!!!! I would honestly recommend this to anyone who cooks regularly and wants to save time and money.
