I liked these EarPods better than all EarPods I’ve had so far. Excellent noise cancellation, great buttons, very clear hearing!
What still bothers me is that the noise cancellation is only when I’m listening to MP3 music files, but when I switch to phone call mode, the noise cancellation doesn’t work, I couldn’t change it.
But i really recommend this product!

I only give half a point off as the battery life isnt as long as others BUT I didnt find that much of an issue at all.
Noise cancellation and sounds is great. I love that you can control so much from the ear buds thsemselves like skipping songs, adjust volume etc.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsing these earbuds for my workouts, and for my first pair, they’re doing great. Quality-wise, I’m genuinely impressed. Some folks complain about the control buttons being challenging as they are not touch-sensitive, but I’ve found a workaround — using my nail tip makes it easy and hassle-free.

The sound quality is surprisingly good, and the durability lives up to the hype. The battery life has been a pleasant surprise; it’s holding up better than I expected. Pairing with my Samsung S22U is a breeze — fast and seamless. Overall, these earbuds have proven to be reliable workout partners.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThese are now my 5th pair of wireless earbuds and my second set of Jabra earbuds. The first thing you notice with these buds and seems to have become the standard for the electronics industry is the minimalistic packaging with the box being as compact as possible.

The buds themself were relatively simple to connect to my phone, and at first glance seem to be quite similar to other earbuds.

One of my main issues is something which is common amongst all in-ear earbuds and that is the silicone ear gels provided done fit that well in my ears and provide discomfort after wearing them for a short period of time and that I have to resort to custom ear gels from a 3rd party seller.

The buttons on the buds are quite sensitive and sometimes catch accidental movements or will sometimes pause which can be more of an issue when out running. One thing to note is that like with any buds it will take time to get to grips with the controls and the various touch patterns

The quality of sound was comparable with some of the more premium earbuds on the market but do require some finetuning before they are useful for both gaming and music.

Overall a decent set of earbuds at the price point but nothing particularly special

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing fit, very comfortable, annoyingly short charging cable. I have love using these headphones, I initially worried about the size of the earphone being quite bulky, but found they actually feel smaller then they look and don’t feel bothersome as I thought they might. My previous ones of a large brand were good but wouldn’t stay in my ears for long before getting squeezed out and I found that with the small size ear bud of these they are SO comfortable and don’t budge one bit, even whilst gardening and moving about lots. The background noise reduction of these are also amazing. I found the charging cable an annoyingly short length though, so struggle with propping them up on something whilst charging, and found their carry/charging box a very average design (I always throw them in the front pocket of my bag and the box is already scratched). I would ideally like the charge to hold a bit longer, although I never ran out in a single day, I felt I have charged these more than my previous pair. I use headphones for phone calls a lot and these are fab, great sound, great mic. Overall I love the design of the headphones themselves, but think the accessories are very average.

Amazing fit, very comfortable, annoyingly short charging cable.

I was a little sceptical about having wireless earbuds, as I was always convinced that they would fall out. As a first-time user of earbuds. I am very pleased to announce that this is not the case at all. With 3 sizes of ear bud to choose from, you can find the perfect size for you, and they are less bulky than I had imagined. Whilst I probably wouldn’t recommend sleeping in them, it is feasible, and the sound quality is incredible. I was absolutely blown away by the noise cancelling function, and the ability to switch between that and “hear through” at a touch of a button. I don’t know how it works, but it is an incredible feature and works really well. With hear-through, you can still hear background noise fairly clearly (TV, conversations, traffic) which is great for road safety and awareness, but once noise cancellation is activated, all background noises almost completely disappear!!! Incredible!! I’m also really impressed at the battery life, as lasts far longer than anticipated. I’ve used them for several workouts, train journeys and even to block out a snoring housemate throughout the night with no problems!! The charging cable does seem really short, but I only plug it into my pc so it’s suitable for my needs entirely, and doesn’t take long to fully charge. The case is compact and seals with a satisfying magnetic closure and fits easily into a pocket or handbag. Overall. I’m really glad I bought these and would definitely buy them again, and highly recommend them to everybody!

    Great wireless headphones!

The Elite 4 earbuds sit in the sweet spot of Jabra’s comprehensive range of earbuds. Offering an excellent balance of features for the price point, these “every use case” buds impressed across a range of challenging environments. Given the advertised sporty nature of these buds (Inclusing sweat resistance) I took them for a spin in a cycle class. Their form and size allowed them to sit snuggly in my ears and they delivered plenty of volume and bass. They also shine when on long journeys, and it was a joy to be able to rely on the long battery life and quick charge times. The active noise cancellation further helped to improve the experience, however the superb fit meant high levels of sound isolation even with ANC turned off. As can be expected with any Jabra product, they are excellent for taking calls in the office or on the go. My impressions (and those for whom I was speaking to!) Is that they significantly outperform similarly peiced rivals for the clarity, isolation and minimal delay. The experience is rounded out by Jabra’s well thought out and feature rich Sound+ app. Here again, Jabra has seemingky thought through almost everything and yet while enabling the end user the option to tailor things as they see fit. This includes a high degree of personalisation, such as sound profiles, editing of button controls, and utilising the lost earbud features. While I was initially hesitant to like these earbuds, they’ve quickly become my go to buds for any and all situations. My previous (more expensive) pair have been consigned to the office drawer!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersSo I have owned the last 2 versions o Bose and B&O earphones. Now to be clear the B&O are king of sound and the Bose NC is industry leading but these Jabra’s are a very close second and the sound quality on phone calls even in busy environments is peerless. The sound quality is excellent , the fit is brilliant ( I have awkward ears for earbuds) and these fit perfectly. There is the odd occasion they start to come out but a light tap and they are back in spoils for the rest of the day. The controls have a “click” feel so you know you have communicated an action and the response is lightening fast! Very easy ti use in the run or in during a gym workout as the functions work FIRST TIME you try even to activate Siri! Oh and they are comfortable to have in for at least 7 hours (my longest wearing them back from holiday) and zero war-ache

I decided to give these new Jabra Elite 4 earbuds a try as unfortunately I lost one of my previous Jabra earbuds and the price point on these is great. The packaging is good, not loads of excess packaging and all recyclable. Out the box they are a nice compact design, I went for the dark grey as I carry them with me all the time & work outside so felt like one of the lighter colours may look grubby (I do love the look of the lilac though) The case is nice & light but feels sturdy. The earbuds magnet into place so no faffing around they pop straight where they should be. They paired with my phone immediately, I already had the app downloaded from my previous pair but it was easy to update and add these. To be honest for the price I wasn’t expecting them to be amazing but they are great, I wear earbuds for a few hours every day listening to music & podcasts, these were nice & comfortable throughout the day. The sound quality is good, my only real gripe is the bass could be better. It’s great that you can turn the hear through on with a touch so that you don’t have to pause your audio to hear when someone is talking to you. I love the fact that they have a two year dust & water resistance warranty as I work outside a lot so that’s a great plus point. Overall for a pair of earbuds for everyday use they are great, price is good for the quality & they look nice. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was very excited to try these headphones and so was on a mission to use them daily to test its durability and wear!

Firstly, they are one of the most comfortable pair of headphones I’ve tried. Usually, I am a medium size in ear buds and accept the headphones would never be super secure as the small earbuds are usually too small. I tried the small earbuds and they were a perfect fit. I’ve never worn in-ear headphones and felt I could do many active things in them for fear of them falling out of my ear. I’ve worn these to the gym, whilst running and also whilst trampolining and they’ve stayed in place perfectly.

The sound quality of the headphones is great, and this is helped by being able to customise your audio specifications/preferences using the Jabra App. The only thing I would say is that the noise cancelling feature for me personally, could be a bit better. I still feel like outside sounds are seeping in, and even thought the first time it hadn’t been activated – but that’s minor.

The use of the headphones is very straightforward with answering and hanging up calls, and pausing, playing as well as skipping songs.

Battery life is amazing! I charged them fully when I first received them and two weeks later I’ve only just had to charge them again recently – and I have been wearing them daily for 45 mins – 1 hour every day.

These are my first pair of Jabra headphones and I am definitely impressed with the app, ease of use and battery life – I would definitely look at purchasing more of this brand in the future.

    Pleasantly surprised!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you’re looking for a pair of wireless earbuds that offer great sound quality, comfort and battery life, then you need to check these out. They fit snugly in your ears, with 3 interchangeable silicon fittings, making them super comfortable, lightweight and ergonomic, wearing them all day is easy on the ear!. They also come with a sleek charging case with up 28 hours of playtime. One great feature is the customizable sound, I enjoyed playing around with this and finding the perfect balance. Using the app it’s easy to adjust the equalizer, choose from different sound modes and activate features like HearThrough and Sidetone. HearThrough lets you hear your surroundings when you need to, while Sidetone lets you hear your own voice during calls. And if you lose them – no problem. you can use the app to find them again! Another great feature is the ANC, or Active Noise Cancellation, this is fully customisable using the app, meaning you can personalise everything you can or can’t hear. And with the simple single buttons on each bud, it’s easy turn on and off. The best feature by far though has to be the ability to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Switching between a call on your laptop, and music on your phone is seamless and easy, you don’t have to disconnect from one device to connect to another – this is revolutionary in my line of work! That being said, they’re not perfect. One of the drawbacks is the lack of wireless charging – you have to use a USB-C cable to charge the case. Another downside is the battery life, the earbuds themselves only hold around 5 and a half hours of charge, and if you’re a heavy user like me – they don’t last the day. The final negative point is the audio quality when on calls, while it’s fantastic for music there is an echo, which can be distracting. Overall, they are a great choice if you’re looking for affordable, comfortable and stylish earbuds. They have a few minor flaws, but nothing deal breaking. And to be honest – I love them!

My order Jabra Elite 4 earbuds arrived in a nice little box which included: a manual, instructions to download and launch the app, USB cable, EarGels in 3 sizes (this is very important as I have relatively small ears), Earbuds and Charging Case. The earbuds charge quickly and this is a big advantage because during the day there is not always time to do this. At first I used earbuds without an app, but the fun only started after I customised them in a dedicated app. The possibilities offered by the app are enormous and everyone is able to find what they want from the earbuds. The sound is clear, the Active Noise Cancelling works well when you want to cut yourself off from the world and find time for yourself only. The battery is long-lasting and the bud Mono Mode is useful in some situations. Operating the earbuds may seem difficult at first, but anyone can quickly figure out the functions. In my opinion, the price of earbuds is reasonable for the quality and their capabilities. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI wanted to try these earbuds as my other wireless earphones always felt like they were falling out during a workout and the design of these ones made me think they would stay in better. I loved the fact that the packaging is all recyclable and as little waste as possible. They fit perfectly and using the other sized tips my daughter discovered they fit her perfectly too! The sound quality is fantastic and the noise cancellation definitely works well as my daughter now never hears me calling her. In all seriousness, I can use these at the gym, use them in the car as my hands free and then my daughter will use them all night all on a single charge. The case is light and discreet and charges fast. They feel secure when I’m wearing them even when jumping about and are easy to use with the touch buttons and the Jabra+ app. These have definitely become my favourite and I plan to buy another pairmaybe in a colour that my daughter won’t steal.

These headphones are a great value for money item with some special features that set them apart from budget and basic wireless headphones. The ANC and Hear-through functions are welcomed and work well to ensure you can listen to whatever you are playing whilst being aware of your surroundings or to block out external sounds/noise. Since trialling these headphones (I have used them over a period of 15 days for 40-60mins), I have only had to charge the headphones once, where I have used the headphones daily. They are easy to use, and are comfortable once in with varying sizes of earphones to ensure the fit supports the audio experience when in use. The microphone works successfully and again, is user friendly and functional where answering calls offered clear tones (using the sidetones feature) with minimal outside noise being sent back to the receiver. The navy blue headphones are fashionable and go with anything. The headphones have good Bluetooth reach where my device never cut out or got disconnected from the headphones. These headphones do not fall out! Tried and tested whilst playing sports and at the gym. They only come out when you take them out of your ear. Get yourself a pair of these headphones, they are value for money without breaking the bank. A good all rounder that you won’t regret purchasing!

Bargain headphones but not at all basic!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOn opening the Jabra Elite 4’s, I was impressed with the lack of excessive packaging, to where I found the headphones within the small sleek charging case. Along with these were a charging cable and different size ear tips. The ear tips come in three sizes and the cable is a standard usb to usb-c. Connection to my phone was straightforward and I am aware I have the option to connect to more devices should I wish. FIRST USAGE I first used the headphones, with the medium ear tips, for a phone call. They were clear for both myself and the person I was speaking with. No connection issues. Secondly I used them for a run. As soon as I set off, I could feel and hear wind creeping in, creating a slight distortion to the music. A short while into my run and the right headphone fell out. On returning from my run, the ear tip on the left headphone was stuck in my ear. Despite the above, which I am initially putting down to being a first time user of wireless headphones, the sound quality was spot on, a lot clearer than other brands of wired headphones I have tried. There was no connection issues and no time delay on changing songs. I will look to try the headphones with the other ear tips as I believe the medium size may not have been the best for me.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis is my first pair of Jabra earbuds and I am so glad I got them! I used them mainly to workout at the gym and I noticed a massive difference with my previous earbuds who used to slip from my ear very easily (so annoying!). These earbuds stay in place even when I am sweating which is great and I don’t really have to worry about them falling off! The sound is great and the noise cancellation works really well. They work really well when I am in phone calls too. I use them both with my phone and my laptop and I was surprised to see how easy it is to switch between different devices. Last but not least, you can connect to Spotify just by tapping twice on the left earbud (which is amazing!). Overall, a great pair of earbuds that perform really really well!

This is my second pair of Jabra headphones, after trying out the Jabra Elite 5. The first impressions right out of the box are great: it’s well designed, the packaging comes with everything necessary and is easy to recycle. The app is also easy to set up and get going, and has a number of handy features. In terms of the ANC, audio quality and the connectivity in general, these headphones do a great job. The battery lasts as long as is advertised. The ANC is effective, particularly so when the correct earbuds have been used. Notably, this model is quite a bit cheaper than some of the others. This is reflected in the slightly-less-premium feel of the materials used for the case and outside of the buds, and slightly reduced functionality. However, this seems a fair trade off, especially since the audio quality feels just as good as the more expensive model. All in all, if you’re willing to spend a little more a pair of earbuds but don’t fancy shelling out for the most expensive models, this is an excellent choice for you!

TWS earbuds have been around for a while now and so you would expect the technology to improve through each iteration. What i often find is that while many brands on the market offer lots of features, the main one – Bluetooth stability, is often lacking and you get random drop outs, disconnects or static which make the user experience very poor. Not these Jabras though, they excel at consistent performance time after time. The user setup was very slick, download the app, pair the headphones and the device was connected. A firmware update was available, and after installing that, the devices rebooted and i was able to try them out for the first time. What surprised me was just how quickly the buds reconnected to my phone after a reboot or when taking them out the case. I tested the buds using my favourite music playlist. The sound was pleasing and clean, and the in app EQ allowed me to tweak to my preference for different genres of music. I then tried the buds on calls. I tested both at home in a quiet environment and also on the roadside walking along and both times the calls were clear, crisp and without interruption. Users on the other end reported clear vocals and so this was a big plus. So far so good. Battery life is very good, if not class leading, but the case recharges them quickly and i find that its more than enough to see me through a few days before i need to recharge. All in all i think these are extremely capable earbuds, with a very reasonable price and comfortable fit that make them a winner.

I’ve been after some new headphones for a while and decided to give the Jabra 4 Elite a try. I’ve used budget headphones for a while and opted for something a little more expensive without breaking the bank. I have my headphones in most of the day for calls and listening to music as well as streaming films. Setup was simple and straight forward and downloading the app gives you everything you need including a manual if you need it. You can also control the noise cancellation and it has an equaliser. I like my music with good bass and this helps boosts it without any distortion. These headphones are the most comfortable I’ve ever had and haven’t fallen out or come loose at all. I changed the gel tip for the large which fit my ears perfectly. Mediums come pre-mounted. The noise cancellation is a nice feature to have too. Whilst it doesn’t completely eradicate all noise, it does a good enough job that means I don’t need to increase the volume further. Using the right tip helps seals your ear so trying the different ones is definitely recommended. The battery life has been excellent regularly getting through my day without going flat. I always pop them back in the case whenever they’re not in use. The case will fast charge them to 60% in 10 minutes so if like me they’re in constant use then this is a great feature. You can also use each one individually which my previous ones wouldn’t, you always had to use the right side which was annoying if you wanted to use the left and listen to the person sitting on your right so a big plus for me. Call quality is fantastic too. People often commented using my old headphones was I on hands free or couldn’t hear me but not one person has noticed that I’ve been using these to make and receive phone calls, even cutting out wind noise when I’ve been outside. Overall I would say these are an excellent pair of headphones especially given the relatively low price point, you won’t be disappointed if you opt for these.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFrom first glance the Jabra Elite 4, looks sleek, durable and lightweight. Instructions on setting up the headphones seemed simple but took a while to sync/pair on the app. The sound quality is very good, nice low end bass and I liked how you could personalise the sound quality or use the presets. It took a while to figure out how the noise cancellation worked, but once I played around with the app and realised it could be personalised, it worked perfectly.

The charging cable is very short, I expected it to be at least a metre long. When charging the earphones, I have to place them on the floor, which isn’t ideal. The headphones can be a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long time, not sure if that will change over time or if I have to change the earphones tips. Learning the controls takes a bit of time to get use to, navigating the volume, forward/reverse play ect, but overall, I’m generally happy with this product and would recommend it.

    Decent earphones

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased these earbuds to replace my buds i currently have, which constantly fell out while jogging or running due to their oversized fit, even with the smallest ear tips. Thankfully, these new earbuds fit like a glove and provide outstanding noise cancellation. While these earbuds lack the ability to move back and forth between tracks on Spotify with a tap of a specific bud, the app allows you to set it up so that tapping on the left bud will take you directly to Spotify. The Jabra Sound+ app also offers incredible customisation options, allowing you to tailor the sound to your exact preferences and conveniently manage all of your Jabra sound devices. This made setting them up with my work headset a breeze. One of the standout features of these earbuds is their impressive battery life. I’ve tackled a full house cleaning, an hour-long workout, and even run errands without needing a recharge. And when I have charged them, the process is remarkably quick. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend these earbuds to anyone looking for a perfect fit, impressive sound quality, and long-lasting battery life.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI looked at replacing my existing Jabra Elite 75t Earbuds which have started to fail after 3-4 years of constant use.
The Jabra Elite 4 wireless earbuds offer the same impressive audio performance, comfortable fit, and a sleek design as my old pair, but with some new features added into the mix. Straight out of the box they were easier to setup and were good to use in a few minutes, the app was easy to connect to and do some bespoke set up if i wanted to. I liked the fact they automatically connected with my spotify and phone, rather than having to search for the device to pair with. There was options to change ear pads in, but i didnt need to change them.
The ANC is just as good as my previous pairs, with a touch of the left hand ear bud changes between the sound options – denoted by a small noise, i preferred the previous versions, where a voice told you what sound mode you are in, ie hear through, ANC or off. But thats just my preference. You can tell the difference between the modes.
After using them out and about for both dog walks, listening to podcasts, and taking phonecalls, the sound and call quality is great as i now expect from Jabra. Top marks all round with no issues at all. I havent used the function yet, as the battery life is great, but the option to just use one ear bud is great. With my current ear buds, one is fully functioning, which means both dont work, at least with these, i can just use one if needed to extend both battery life or if i need to keep one ear free! A per my previous pair, the USB-C charging case is a useful accessory, charging them back up after a few minutes, and is great feature.
The feel of the product and the quality of the buttons isnt on par with the higher elite series i have, the buttons arent as responsive o pressing, however, at around half the price, its a small sacrifice!
I generally wear these walking to work, or walking the dog, so out in all weather, they appear to be a bit more resistant to rain compared to my previous ones, which is a massive bonus!
The app is the same as the previous versions, and allows you to tweak the sounds to your own requirements. I dont bother really, but i may do in the future.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 4 earbuds are a solid choice for users seeking high-quality wireless earbuds without an outrageous price tag, like my previous pair, i would highly recommend these ear buds!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese Jabras are the cheaper version of their other ‘Elite’ models and by and large it holds its own. The bluetooth linking is really easy and frictionless and the soundsquality is decent. It has all the main features of the more expensive Elite versions and use of the app is pretty sttraightforward. I used it on a long, sweaty run and they didnt fall out and had plenty of battery left, which is a key feature for me as I train for an ultramarathon.

Where it isn’t quite as strong is the ANC isn’t quite as good. It still works but there is a little more noise pollution. I suspect this may be because the fit in the ear isn’t quite as snug (I’ve tried using the different gel bud sizes but that didnt help) The other issue is the buttons. You have to press them quite hard and deep to get them to work, which makes it tricky when you’re double/triple tapping, especially when running. Thankfully I dont have to do it very often but the other Elite models worked better for this.

All that being said, for the price, I think it’s a pretty decent package and you’d probably have to pay close to double that amount to get a handful more features.

    Decent for the price

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe Jabra Elite 4 wireless earbuds offer impressive audio performance, comfortable fit, and a sleek design, making them an excellent mid-range option for users seeking a high-quality audio experience. With well-balanced bass and an immersive soundstage, the audio quality is excellent for earbuds in this price range. The cushioned earpads and lightweight build ensure a decent fit, and the IP67 rating makes them highly resistant to sweat, dust, and water.

The Jabra Sound+ app provides a streamlined setup process and allows users to customize their noise-cancelling experience, while the USB-C charging case is a useful accessory. The earbuds’ battery life of around 4 to 5 hours of continuous use with ANC on which somewhat disappointing and a hindrance on the enjoyment of the product. Some users may find the eartips to be of a slightly lower grade than what should be available for the price tag, although, the earbuds did come with three different sizes of eartips and whilst running they did not come loose. Overall, the Jabra Elite 4 earbuds are a solid choice for users seeking high-quality wireless earbuds without an outrageous price.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe Jabra Elite 4 is a good upgrade from my ordinary in-ear headphones. It has active noise cancelling and you can immediately see how the music/dialogue feels so much clearer despite the gym music / gym machines’ sounds all around you. The device itself is quite sleek, well designed and well packaged. It fit my ear easily with the ear buds that came as standard, even though there are further sizes provided. While using it in the gym, it didn’t look like the earphones would fall off – even though I admit I did check a few times to make sure it’s fitting snugly. I haven’t had it long enough to comment yet on the charging, but it looks like it should last a few days of continuous use. The charging process is not market-leading. I’d have expected wireless charging, or at least a plug of its own. Instead, this comes with a relatively small USB wire, which is a let down given everything else is so good. Overall – for the price paid, I think it’s a nice replacement for any older models you may otherwise have.

    Good upgrade from ordinary headphones

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersUpon opening the compact, discreet case and taking the earbuds out of the box, I could tell I had invested well in a top-quality product. I have been a fan of Jabra and already use their headset for video conferencing purposes, which set a great expectation and to no surprise, the earbuds did not disappoint.
The sound quality is superb, well-balanced and clear with the bass and treble notes. Combined with the app, you can tweak the sound to your liking with preset equalisers or your custom setting. The added functionality of Active Noise Cancelling does an excellent job of enhancing the sound further. Additionally, with the HearThrough feature, you do not need to pull the earbuds out of your ears to hear externally, you click once and will ‘pass through’ the sounds around you.
The fitment is fantastic, this specially designed shaped earbud slots snugly into your ear comfortably and without the worry of them falling out. Perfect for any active lifestyle. The connectivity is excellent, very quick to pair and connects immediately when taken out of the case. You can use a single earbud also, without any specific configuration, you take one out and use it as you would usually.
The call quality was clear and there were no concerns about background noise or anything unusual from those on the other end of the line.
I cannot fault the product, excellent quality materials, is easy to setup, has fantastic audio, comfortable fitment, look nice and fits into the case very well thanks to the magnetic charging connections and snap-shut lid. I am thrilled indeed!

Jabra don't stop failing to deliver!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe Jabra Elite 4 headphones are remarkable. The audio quality is excellent, with a well-balanced bass that delivers a punchy sound, while not being overwhelming. The sound stage of the headphones is great for their price, while giving a great clear & immersive experience.

The headphones are also incredibly comfortable to wear, with soft cushioned earpads and a lightweight. With their small ergonomic size, they sit very well in my ear and can handle a lot of movement without
moving or falling out which is great and that made the fear of losing an ear bud go away very quickly.

The Jabra Elite 4 are rated at IP67, which makes them sweat, dust & waterproof allowing to use them at home, at the gym or outside for your commute.

The Jabra Elite 4 headphones not only perform well, but they also look sleek and stylish. The design is modern and minimalist, with a slim profile and a matte finish that gives them a premium look.

The Jabra sound+ app made the out of box experience a breeze to setup the headphones the way you like, and it included a personised noise cancelling tuning experience. The noise cancelling can handle a good amount of noise before any outside noise bleeds in. I would have liked a few more EQ music pre-sets.

The Jabra buds don’t have the longest battery life, around 4 to 5 hours of constant use with ANC on. The charging case has a USB-C connector, but the cable provided is too short to be useful.

My verdict is the Jabra Elite 4 headphones are a firm contender for the mid-range price point. They pack enough features, great immersive audio and great looks in a tiny package that’s easy to fit in your pocket or purse.

    Small but mighty headphones

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersThe only reason I didn’t give this 5 as the pairing didn’t go too well though the app. I ended up just pairing though the apple Bluetooth which worked fine then I was able to access the software settings to adjust the other features. This my first time using wireless earphones. Primary use was for work and having a wireless option I jumped to it. The reason why I picked Jabra as I already use a headset from them and have not had any issues before. I always find the voice and speaker to be an excellent quality. The other factor is that I was picked by the Insiders.net to review this item in return for a discount on this product which is why I thought it would be an great opportunity to go for. The earbuds feel secure and fit snuggly in the ear. While wearing I didn’t experience any discomfort. I look forward to many more uses and was surprised to see it comes with a 2 year wear and tear warranty.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThe 65t has been my go-to set of earbuds for a few years now. They don’t last forever and the mic went on my last set so I decided to buy a new pair. Since Jabra don’t do that model anymore I ended up buying the Elite 4 which is roughly the newer model equivallent. There are a few things that I miss about the 65t, it always said “connected” in a loud clear voice whereas the Elite 4 gives a discrete little ding that is easy to miss. The volume controls are different as well but I’ve gotten used to them.

Certainly if you are used to the 65t then you should RTFM straight away as the controls work differently. I spent a few days of frustration because I assumed the Elite 4 controls would work the same as the 65t. They don’t, I wouldn’t say they are better but they are not worse either.

What I do love are the way these snap in and out of the charging case. Little magnets make it literally idiot proof and give it a really satisfying click. The lid is nice and snappy too. A big improvement. They have a slightly shallower profile as well, and for me they nestle inside of the ear quite well.

I’m always pleasantly surprised when a company releases a newer model of one of my favourites that I don’t actually hate. Usually they get all excited and forget what made the original model so popular but I think the Elite 4 is a good replacement for my trusty old 65t.

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersI had a pair of jabra 65t for over 2/3 years using at the gym for 2 hours/4 times a week. They lasted fine till bout last month where I was only getting 1 hour max play after a charge.

These will probably go the same way as I use them almost everyday above my gym routine. They are great for the price and the magnetic click when you put them in charging case is a little bonus.

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our UsersBit pricey but decided to get premium brand earphones to not have to replace them every 6 months.
These are absolutely worth the money.
Their battery life is almost unmatched, and certainly unbeatable in the super small profile earbuds. Nothing comes even close.

Sound isolation is fantastic and my wife hates it.
Audio quality is great and I can’t tell the difference between them and my wife’s airpods pro.

And lastly what most people care about with the “Active” versions of Jabra’s earbuds. Let me put it this way: I went for multiple 10k runs and they haven’t fallen out once. Several 1.5-2h gym sessions (which included runs on the threadmill too) and they haven’t fallen out yet. They really do stay in your ears like they are glued.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI think the Jabra Elite 4 are a decent pair of earphones although overpriced at their current price. Whilst the earphones are extremely comfortable and lightweight, there is a small trade off with the sound quality — particularly when compared with competitors at a similar price point.

At their default settings, the earphones have a very ‘flat’ sound. The Jabra Sound+ app is essential to modify the EQ to get the most out of the ear phones, and they are certainly capable of generating plenty of bass. Unfortunately the sound stage is quite limited compared to my Anker earphones; I suspect this is due to the the ‘smaller’ 6mm drivers.

Sound isolation is excellent even in the absence of active noise cancelling (ANC). The ‘HearThrough’ functionality works as intended. Battery life is average. I also like the fact the Jabra app provides an indicator of battery reserve for each earphone and the case. Lastly, the fit is excellent and remain in my ears despite working out.

Ultimately I think the Elite 4 Active are a good pair of earphones for everyday use or exercising. I suspect most people will find the sound quality good enough for their needs although unlikely to cater for audiophiles or enthusiasts.

    Update June 2023:
The sound quality is improved after ‘breaking’ the earphones in. However, the mic qualtiy has a lot left to be desired. It’s a shame, because these are the most comfortable earphones I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Most of them give me ‘fatigue’. I’ve replaced them with the EarFun Pro 3 – whilst these do not sound as good, the microphone is much better for audio calls.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and comfortable, however terrible mic quality.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersHaving received the Jabra Elite 4 Active in good order I was immediately presented with an opportunity to test this device on the go whilst visiting London on the train. I have experience of another manufacturer’s Bluetooth earbuds (not a particularly mainstream brand at a slightly lower price point) and was disappointed, particularly in-call. Whilst I haven’t specifically tested in-call yet, in every other respect my experience with the Jabra Elite 4 Active has been decent. Right off the bat the fit was excellent – extremely comfortable; insert and a small twist sees the earbuds sit nicely in the ear. I noticed little movement or slip, even when chewing. Jabra support these earbuds with an App which was relatively easy to follow, although I recommend activating “Find My Jabra” which seems to make them pair more readily following initial set-up. The options are just right, with both a equaliser and options in relation to noise reduction to achieve the perfect setting. Sounds quality exceeded my expectations. The bass was deep but not over-powering and I noticed myself picking up components of tunes I’d missed using my previous device. The noise reduction obviously helped here immensely – on a noisy train I could literally here nothing else (although there is a pass-through option too). The only negative for me was the case in which you store the earbuds and which offers a charge. Compared to my other experience I found the finish a little lacking and the hinged top somewhat flimsy. I can imagine this getting squashed out of shape in a pocket or bag. However in general my initial impressions are very positive and I had no hesitation in offering 4/5 stars at this stage.

Golden Review Award: 65 From Our UsersWhen I opened the box these little things looked great came with three different sized earpieces, that suited me fine as I have small ears, the smallest fitted fine for a day then they started falling out, the sound quality was nothing great seemed to be better on the right side than the left for some reason, the only good thing about these is that they are compact in my bag, easy to charge, look good, but that’s it if you want good sound on the move with earplugs that won’t fallout these are not for you.

Golden Review Award: 64 From Our UsersI was a bit sceptical about these buds, especially for running, but have to say i was pleasantly surprised. The fear of them falling out was always on my mind especially with the off road running i do, but well, they stayed in my ears no problem. They are also comfortable to the extent that you forget they are in ! Sound wise, not bad at all, the bass is not amazing however the noise-cancelling does work well. Easy to set-up , decent battery life and not at all hard to change the volume whilst running.

Golden Review Award: 80 From Our UsersI wanted a product that I could use while I worked out – either a run, or at the gym, or any other physically demanding activity. As with all Jabra products, connectivity is easy. Open the app and it just takes a few clicks. Sound quality is good as you’d expect but I didn’t notice step up from the Active 3. I was also hoping for some smoother use of the earbud buttons but they required a hard press for volume control – not great when you’re sweating away during an activity. And double tap for next track? Forget it. However it is still a Jabra and was great during my morning walks to block out the excess noise.
