Best Bluetooth speaker I have ever brough
Being a bus/coach driver it’s come in very handy when you want to listen to music when you’re on break or driving. Bonus that you can plug your usb in and charge what you like. Definitely a great produc
Way better than I expected
Sound quality is impressive for a small speaker. Good bass clarity. Bluetooth connects super easy and doesn’t drop out. And the battery seems to last forever!! Even when you charge your phone from it (which is an awesome feature by the way). Definitely good value for money.
Sound so good, I bought a 2nd one :)
This is actually the 2nd I’ve bought. Bought the 1st for outdoor dancing events. Occasionally if someone else had a JBL speaker we would pair them and I loved the difference, it already sounds amazing just on it’s own. Got a new computer setup so needed speakers, decided on a 2nd JBL Charge 5. Can now enjoy home cinema experience (have a projector) or great sound outdoors.
The JBL Charge 5 is about the same size and weight as 2 bake bean cans end to end — really not huge considering its impressive volume, solid bass and apparently long battery life. Sound quality wise I have few complaints with it having a rich warm sound and good separation of bass, middle and treble. It is a mono speaker, which I think makes no difference in the context of a speaker designed to fill a room with music but do appreciate this will be an important consideration for some. It handled everything from modern jazz to music such as P!nk’s Never Gonna Not Dance Again. At high-volume it did struggle with Sam Ryder’s Space Man – hence my rather mean hearted 4-star review.
Aconselho a todos a baixarem o app da JBL portable e fazerem a atualizao do software porque melhora consideravelmente a qualidade do udio e principalmente o grave caso vocs fizerem a equalizao que eu fiz, e que recomendo tambm.
Realmente essa caixa no para se usar o dia todo no volume mximo, e isso deixa um pouco a desejar do produto, mas fora isso qualidade extraordinria da JBL como sempre.
I bought this speaker back in February and a few months later bought another (elsewhere) to make a pair of speakers – they work so well together although pairing them can be a bit fiddly (essentially you don’t pair your device to one of the speakers and the one you are paired to communicates with the second speaker). Getting two of the speakers was very worthwhile.
Bass is deep, and sound quality superb. The speakers are a bit bigger than some but still portable. Have ordered a protective case. When operated as a pair the stereo sound is really good. Together they are better than the sum of their parts.

Calidad de sonido brutal, (insuperable) tal vez hecho de menos un poco ms de volumen, pero a todo volumen el sonido es impecable. Resistente a polvo y agua. Tal vez un poco caro
Ottimo il suono, anche se a volume alto si attenuano i bassi.
Mi ha convinto subito il suo sound… ma era difettosa in ricarica, non ha mai caricato del tutto la batteria…. resa, ma la ricompro sicuramente non appena ricever di nuovo i soldi!

Great decision !
Took me ages to decide on this speaker.. so many choices out there. I initially was thinking something bigger like the Xtreme 3.. also toyed with the much hyped X600. I predominantly wanted to use this on my desk whilst working at home.. SO glad I chose this.. the sound is awesome, even on low, i like everything from classical, country, electronic and have found it all works really well. Its a lovely size to be just convenient and the sound is awesome ! Really happy with this.. I might at some point add a second one to try for a wider stereo feel.. no brainer.. get this one !

Calidad y precio
Buen sonido, excelente duracin de batera y calidad en los materiales. La nica pega que puedo ponerle es que no tiene mucho alcance del bluetooth o a menos me esta pasando con mi iPhone 13 Pro Max. Que a unos 5 o 6 metros hace interferencia. A ver si con alguna actualizacin se corrige.

I waited for a good few months before writing this review to give it time to fully check this little beauty out.
So for me it’s about sound first, connectivity and then battery and size.
The sound is amazing for the size, full bass and well balanced mid and treble. I use it for Amazon HD and Spotify Premium and its absolutely great
I have a reasonable sized garden and it’s more than loud enough (even my neighbour commented on the sound quality )
The battery lasts for ages. I haven’t timed it, but I rarely charge it and use it daily. Now I listen to my music at a fairly low level, so if you are partying and have it loud, it may last less time. But you’ll definitely be happy with how long it lasts. Charging time is reasonable as well which is a bonus.
Bluetooth connection to my Samsung Note 10 and Fire tablet is quick and has honestly never dropped. I’ve actually gone into my house while the speaker is in the garden and still hear it playing flawlessly.
It is definitely more than worth the money, and I have stopped using my other Bluetooth speakers as its just so useful and great sounding.
I did pair it with a friend’s Charge 5 for stereo and it was awesome. So now I have to decide if I can justify another to get the stereo going in my garden lol

Ummed and ahhed over buying this or the Sonos Roam. Did my research, looked at reviews on here and weighed up the pros and cons – of which there are a few.
Ultimately I made my final decision based on the reviews and I’m really pleased I did. Great looking speaker that’s well made, sounds superb and connected to my phone in a matter of seconds. Yes, there’s no voice control and I can’t use WiFi with it, but these are minor factors when ultimately I want a punchy sound, reasonable price point and the option to charge my phone which the JBL gives you. Battery life is exceptional going way past the stated 20 hours and still going strong. Get the JBL portable app and you’ll be able to update software, tweak the sound through the eq and easily add other JBL charge speakers if you wanted to. Enjoy that sound

This speaker has a very pleasing sound quality. It’s a balanced full sound with plenty of attack, the bass is very good for a speaker it’s size but obviously doesn’t extend that far down. It is very loud, you could easily fill a good size living room at high sound levels and you could use it in a small hall for, say a dance class with enough volume to get the job done. It will fit in your backpack, not in your pocket and the battery lasts for many hours! Bluetooth connection seems pretty solid.
It charges using a USB C connector and a USB C-A cable is included, which is handy if you’ve got chargers lying around for your phone/tablet/laptop. It doesn’t come with a separate charger. There is a charge indicator so you can see how it’s getting along.
There is an app that you can download – JBL Portable. I’ve tried the Android version only. The Charge 5 speaker is astounding and does not need this app to function. The app gives you a 3 point equaliser (bass/mid/treble) and a vague battery indication. It also has the PartyBoost feature which you can use to group 2 or more JBL speakers. The app works well, can be used to update your speaker’s firmware, and seems stable. However, unless you want to use one of these features it’s superfluous.
Overall an impressive speaker especially for it’s size and price. I am enjoying listening to it.
I am writing this review after using this product for three weeks. Here are a few things you should consider while buying a Bluetooth speaker and where the JBL speaker stands in these parameters.
1. Sound – The sound quality of this speaker is extraordinary compared to its size. The sound is crystal clear at the highest volume, and the speaker performs well in delivering mids and highs. JBL signature Bass is the USP of this company, and this product is not an exception. However, it would be foolish (and unreasonable) to expect a home theatre experience from this product. It has a 30W speaker compared to more than 60W speakers of a typical home theatre system.
2. Battery – It delivers what JBL claims in its advertisement. The battery easily lasts for 20 hours when the speaker is used at 50% volume (loud enough to shake a small-sized room). Even at higher volumes of 80-90%, the speaker lasted more than 14 hours during my test use.
3. Build Quality – The speaker weighs around 1 kg and has a solid build quality. It feels sturdy and premium and has got a very good quality finish.
4. Power Bank – This speaker can be used as a power bank to charge your device in need. A handy option if you are in dire need of fuel for your phone (obviously when you are travelling).
5. Other features – Add-ons like water resistance and dust resistance seem to work based on my current usage with this product.
Cons – The only downside of this product is not being able to produce stereo sound when multiple JBL speakers are connected. It delivers mono sound (which is fine as the company doesn’t advertise this product as stereo sound speakers. The difference between a stereo and a mono sound is that stereo audio is capable of producing the perception of sounds coming from different directions, whereas mono audio can not produce this effect.
Overall Review – This is a great product for those who like to party on the go. It’s highly portable, has got great battery life, build quality and brilliant sound with JBL signature Bass. I am certain nobody is going to regret buying this product.

J’ai achet cette enceinte car je fais de la musique sur mon ordinateur, et je voulais un rendu qualitatif autre que mon casque de production.
Les points forts :
– Bonne autonomie de la batterie
– Bien tanche, seulement aux claboussures, en revanche je ne sais pas s’il est possible de la plonger dans l’eau
– La qualit de son est vraiment bonne, ainsi que le volume sonore qui peut tre assez lev.
– Fait office de batterie externe
Pour conclure je suis vraiment ravi de cet achat, qui offre un plutt bon rapport qualit prix
Awesome sound - and can pair with other speakers
Great sound with plenty of base. Unlike other speakers, the JBL Charge 5 can link to other Charge 5 speakers either to make stereo sound (L/R speakers) or to get the party started!
Portable y buen sonido
Me cost 115. Es un altavoz pequeo que te puedes llevar a cualquier lado. El sonido en exteriores es suficiente para que se escuche. La calidad de sonido para este tipo de altavoces es buena, no se puede comparar con un equipo estreo o home cinema, como es normal, no est hecho para eso. Es un altavoz para llevarte a la piscina, parque o alguna fiesta en un local, para este tipo de cosas es muy til. S quieres escuchar msica con calidad en una habitacin o ver una pelcula en la tv desde luego no tendrs esto, tendras algo dedicado a eso, y mucho ms caro. Por este precio y para lo que est diseado, es perfecto, se escucha bien y no distorsiona.

I love this speaker for its looks, clarity of sound, easy to set up . I bought the red one and the one little niggle I have is that the controls + – are in red too , I have a sight problem so I have just used a black permanent marker on them but they would have looked good in black! Great rubber lines on the cover so it can’t roll over . I love it .

Excelente produto; equalizador original JBL(somente aps atualizao) simplificado mas bem eficiente, bateria utilizei por 8 horas no volume mdio e consumiu 35%.
At existem produtos de tima qualidade com custo menor, mas JBL no momento insupervel.
Si trova tanta roba a meno.. ma per un motivo o per l’altro dopo che ho acquistato questo JBL, in famiglia tutti lo usano.. lasciando i loro a buon mercato “zitti” a prendere polvere..
Excelente qualidade
Excelente custo x benefcio. Graves perfeitos e volume excelente. Uso na faixa dos 30-40% e j faz “muito barulho”. Em duas semanas precisei carregar apenas duas vezes. Uso cerca de 4 a 6 horas por dia.

Gostei muito do som bem encorpado com graves fortes e agora com um equalizador de som deu uma leve melhorada no som, pr mim a parte negativa e sobre o carregamento que exposto tem que ter um pouco de cuidado nessa rea sobre gua,enxugar bem antes de colocar pr carregar.
Simplesmente fantástica! Recomendo!
Acredito que o acrscimo de entradas para pendrive, P2, carto SD e proteo no que tange a porta de entrada de carregamento de energia, completaria de forma brilhante o referido projeto.

Muito boa, o nico porm que no tipo de msica que eu escuto, no volume mximo os graves ficam abafados, vai aparecer mais o tweeter.
Em qualquer outro volume, top, som sem igual.

Mi piace la qualit del suono, ma non mi piaciuto il fatto che non avesse nulla per il trasporto a mano, come un gancio o una piccola maniglia cos come presente nella versione piu piccola da 15watt che gi possedevo! Io lo uso per fare animazione!
