Ordered because tired to wash the floor after our dog. We have laminated kitchen area and hall. Not too big area, but still our labrador make a mess all the time. So this electric mop works really good for such kind of floor. Was trying in a bathroom with tiled floor and it is not so good. Itis more handy than regular mop in use and for me more faster too. Probably if you don’t have pet at home you will be more happy with result, because I see it helps me to mop the floor fast during the working days, but still on weekend I prefer to use my old mop. So I think if you need few times mop the floor during the day, this device is great, but to wash floor perfect this electric mop can not. So I remove 1 star for this reason. Also the price is quite high, ecen this is famous brand, but it doesn’t make work perfect. Still I am happy to have it, it save my time on busy days. Recommend it.
Ok bought the CrossWave about 4 years ago from Amazon. It broke a few months ago, just stopped pumping water. not going to say it’s a bad machine for that but it would have been nice to be able to find the part to fix it online somewhere. Firstly if you are the sort of person that will drop 3 eggs on the floor with a pot of jam and run to grab a mop (like some of the reviews show) then get the CrossWave. If you generally hoover (sorry – vacuum) the floor first before mopping then read on. Anyway it broke so went back to the trusty spray mop for a while which works but generally hides marks by spreading the dirt evenly across the floor. Then after a couple of weeks spent 4 hours on hands and knees scrubbing the floor with bowl after bowl and decided to look again at mops. Karcher looked no where near as sophisticated as the Bissell and despite my love of tech and clever design bought the Karcher on an impulse (from Karcher direct, was a little cheaper than Amazon that day). Had it a month now so can’t say anything about long term reliability but in my opinion cleans the floors better. It gets more water back up from the floor, ok the dirty water tank is small and fills quickly but at least it does fill up and because it picks up more water the floor isn’t left as wet and dries quicker. I find the machine easier and quicker to clean afterwards. It cleans the floors quicker, some reviews of the Bissell complain that it leaves streaks on the floor which can be true unless you go slowly with it. The Karcher cleans to the edge which the Bissell doesn’t. Karcher a bit quieter to use.
Bissell easier to charge though, charges on the dock rather than having to plug it in. Battery live not really noticed any difference I’m doing about 80 square meters of laminate and both managed that. Neither machine is perfect but for me between the two it’s the Karcher.

I took one star of for the price it is supply two extra rollers (already bought) and what is with the tiniewinchie bottle of cleaner…. really!! Bought a litrr of the stuff as it says not to use this that and the other. But that size is kinda ridiculous.
Easy to use…. Works well. The cover on the chamber to fill is a bit stiff to open.
Brought this last week and can’t stop using it.our floors have never looked so clean.very good piece of kit.

Love this..cleans the kitchen tiles perfectly so satisfying…dirty dog constantly bringing in muddy paw prints in this weather..very easy to use when you get the hang of it..not complicated and makes cleaning the floor a pleasure..only one down side it doesn’t hold its charge for long so its constantly getting charged after every use
I have replaced a corded steam cleaner with a tri-angular head. Kercher safer and easier to fill but does not leave a shine and unable to get round toilet bowls etc.

Only niggle is the clean water tank is so much bigger than the dirty water tank so if using on large areas the dirty water tank can over flow. Best using in short bursts.
Also give a good fifteen minutes to half an hour to dry afterwards

there isn’t another hardfloor cleaner out there that gets up to the edges.
Cons you have to clean the dirty water compartment out quite often but it’s quick and easy to do so not really a problem
It isn’t as powerful as the fc5 but no cordless item is as powerful as a corded one
Overall it cleaned my floors well and I am happy with the machine
But did also purchase the 3 year insurance (13.49) as my fc5 broke twice in 2 years
The floor is dry in seconds. You can put nice smelling floor cleaner in it and also I love the fact that you can wash all floor parts under the tap to make it all nice and clean again.
Lightweight and nice quality, well pleased with this Karcher floor cleaner. No doggy smell in my house now I use this.
Whether or not this is worth the cost will really depend on the floor space that you’ll be looking to clean with it. For a two-bedroom house with a mixture of lino and laminate flooring downstairs (like ours), this is perhaps a little more than we need, but for three+ bedroom houses, commercial properties, or anything that has a lot of solid flooring, it’ll likely be a great addition.
Out of the box, there’s almost no assembly required just the attaching of head to handle, but you will want to ensure it’s fully charged prior to use. The mop itself is solid in the sense that the handle isn’t extendable, what you see is what you get and that could be an issue for older or shorter people.
While being quite a chunky looking thing, in operation it is lightweight and surprisingly mobile. The motor makes for smooth corner to corner mopping, and it actually cleans the floors as well as mopping. It’s a lot easier than manual mopping with the floor not being a soaking mess at the end of it like it often is when using manual mops.
While you do save a great deal of time in the mopping, you do lose some of it in setting the mop up before use and cleaning it afterwards. Storage is also an issue as the unit isn’t collapsable and ideally needs to stand on the base after use to let everything air off.
This Karcher wipe floor mop arrived in its own box and was neatly packed inside,
Having unpacked all their components of the electric and the instructions ( although there wasn’t many ) I found it quite easy too assemble as it was all self explanatory,
This is another well made probe Karcher, it’s battery powered and has a charging indicator window on the front that tells you when it needs to be charged
When fully charged it is very simple to use, just remove the water tank, fill it with water straight from the tap, add some cleaning fluid ( a small bottle is included with the mop ) then replace it, press the start button and away you go
This Karcher electric mop certainly takes the hard work out of washing your floors as it actually works on it’s own, it washer’s the floor going forward and sucks the dirty water up when you pull the mop back
On completion of washing the floor you just remove the front cover too locate the dirty water tank so you can empty it and give it a clean, the rollers also come off for cleaning they can also go in a washing machine if they get really dirty
I found the noise from the motor was quieter than our vacuum cleaner.
This is a well made, first class product by Karcher a bit on the pricey side but worth the money

I was able to get the entire kitchen and two bathroom floors mopped without it dying on me. It cleans very, very well. The pads were pretty dirty when all was finished. Thankfully the cleaning process is dead simple too. The rollers just pop out and the crevice below that just pulls out as well. My only complaint is that the liquid cleaning container is a bit small, so I had to refill it 2 times. This wasn’t a huge issue for me but I was doing some intensive cleaning with it.
I have used this on a variety of surfaces like hard floors, laminate and my mum even used it on here old tradition stone Flores. It seems to do a very good job a buffing up the dirt. No matter the kind of dirt on the surface the rollers do a good job and tackling them. You may have to go over it a couple of times with more stubborn stains but still. Very impressive.
The space saving design means I can have this in the corner of my outhouse, out of the way. Stood up neatly. Charging is done via the cable provided. They could have installed some way of having the base integrated with the charging cable so you could just pop the mop on without having to wire it up, but nevertheless the stand is very helpful.
The roller pads are microfibre making them hygienically and easily cleanable. You can clean them in a washing machine at 60 degrees after use so you haven’t got to worry about manually cleaning them. Overall I’m very impressed by the quality of this unit. They have made sure It’s very versatile and easy to use for the average consumer.
