Great sound, good look but that volume controller is a nightmare. Slightest touch and it moves. Needs a ratchet with a clicker, Don’t know how this got past design stage like this but great sound so 5 stars

This Logitech 2.1 system has an incredible bass output which is so pure with no distortion even when maxed at 120 W, The treble output is crystal clear. The system is very sturdy and pleasing to the eye.
Setup is extremely simple and the volume controller has a slider to increase/decrease bass and treble.
At the price, it is astoundingly good quality that I would fully recommend buying.

Absolutely great speakers. I’ve had a few different ones and some at twice the price. All returned due to connection and sound issues, but now I’ve finally found a good set. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBeautiful Speaker system for my Work Desk . Good quality , Nicely manufactured and looks well . My only criticism is that as per usual Logitech as usual sells it products short with very poor instructions as per usual , and I have Keyboards , Mouse , Web Cam – 920S , even a Blue Yeti USB Microphone , and typically of all of these LOGITECH doesn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction , because if it did it would produce better instructions to accompany good equipment . So Buyer beware

These speakers offer very good bass and plenty of volume. They should suit most computer users, I think. They are easy to set up and look good also.

Upgrading this from a creative t3150 2.1 (no longer in production) I can say this is a beast. This thing if it wants to boom it’ll give you boom. Enough to make your neighbors call the cops on you. This is a good upgrade for me. Recommend. Sound quality is good.

I have been using Logitech Z533 for the past 3 years and I cond not have hoped for more. Even at low volume, the sub is sublime. You can feel every single note throughout your body.

If that is not your thing, you can just turn it down, with a slight move of a finger to whatever suits your needs.

good quality and value for money. Spot on for the price, only gripe is that the leads come out of the sides of the sub woofer, so you cant hide them, you just have the ugly sight of them trailing out of the sides rather than out the way at the back

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWhenever I buy things off amazon I always read the good and bad reviews just to get a balance.

But I felt compelled to right a review based on the bad ones.

A woman claimed the sub woofer was so sharp she was in danger of cutting herself, if the woman was 3 years old I might have given it some thought.

Another person moaned about the hardwiring and if it broke it would cost too much money to fix, come on firstly the hardwiring is really well made nice and thick and who gets a pair of 89 speakers fixed? if they are not under warranty just get a new set for gods sake.

This one was funny, the volume control is so sensitive it goes up and down with a slight knock, I have might secured safely on my desk using double sided tape in an area where the volume control does not in any way get disturbed.

Ok now that sillyness is out the way heres my opinion.

I have bought 2.1 speakers for 20 years now and the best I have had so far was the logitech Z230 but they are not made anymore sadly, so my choice was narrowed down to the Z533 or the Z623.

What drew me to the Z533 was the multiple audio inputs, I wanted to hook up my echo dot to them as well as my computer which is much better than using a Y splitter as you lose no sound quality.

The sub woofer is nicely made as well, yes it is hard wired but the quality of workmanship is excellent, the size is nice as well not to bulky also it has a fixed grill on it so if you keep the sub under the desk accidently kicking it will not damaged the cone.

The 2 desk speakers are surprisingly small for the sound they produce and have no problem filling a standard size room with loud sound.

I actually love the volume control, its like a hockey puck with a bass adjustment lever on it and a headphone jack and a 3.5mm input socket.

For the price these speakers have surpassed my expectations.

Any reasonable person will be extremely happy with these speakers so don’t let the negative reviews put you off.

Exactly what I wanted, at the right price point for me.
I was struggling to find a decent 2.1 setup for my gaming rig for (what I consider) to be a decent price given that in not an audiophile.
This product fits that bill perfectly and I really like the large volume control.
Only point for improvement is that I would have liked to see a USB audio input for more versitility and higher quality audio.

Easy to set up, sounds really good for all types of music. I listen to a lot of Nightcore, techno,Indie, country and rock/metal. It sounds amazing no matter what song i put on. Really loud, i put them on 20 percent and they still sound so loud. Bass is really good, you can change bass with a slider on the controller. Wouldn’t use them for DJing if you was looking for dj speakers. With the controller its hard to dj with them. Amazing sounding (i cant stress that enough) Bass, mids and high hats sound so good. Vocals sound clear and distinct. 9/10 would buy again!

The bass will make the two speakers move so keep that in mind. The bass kind of distorts the sound a little, it gets a bit fuzzy when you have it on max. But it’s great and loud if you want to play music in your room.

  14. Anonymous says:

The sound quality is great and the bass is amazing for the price. Let down by the sleep mode so you have to turn the speakers off then on again before you can play music and also the hardwired sound controller so you have to bend the cable to get it where you want it to go.

This was purchased as a cheap alternative to a blown active base speaker for a cinema 5.1 surround sound system. Certainly does the trick. Amble Bass to complement the other speakers running off my Cambridge Audio surround sound system.
Nice touch to have the remote unit, so I can power the bass speaker off when not in use without having to reach behind the TV and other systems.
And I have two spare small speakers that I have yet to find a use for.
Bargain! And almost half the price of the cheapest alternative.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this as an immediate upgrade from a Logitech Z213 which I realised was not up to the job! (avoid this and the hassle of a return stomp up another 35 quid and buy this!) Ok this is double the price but even though its made in China its simply amazing value. Forget all this nonsense about short flex frankly if you can’t be bothered to work around that well (3.5mm extension cables on amazon for under a fiver!)… ok I agree it is not really possible to reach the floor for the mains cable, but how about an extension cable for that too? 3 quid in screwufix. The sound, to an average listener of music like me is just amazing. Don’t go mad with the bass control it doesn’t seem to need it, half way is enough. I am an olde fart from the 80s listening to Trance etc and its really hammering this sort of music, lovely sound. One small user warning but not an issue really as mentioned before by another reviewer, the controller that switches speakers on is also controlling the volume. So if you have found the level of sound you want once you turn it off it loses the volume position – but look before you go and its simple to find it again. I read that if you whack the volume up to max on the lets say a CD player then use the speakers controller to increase overall volume then the sound seems to have even more depth and a really strong bass – lovely, god knows what the next level up is like but I doubt I would ever need it! they are built in China, hopefully without a virus!

This sounds really good but perhaps not quite as good as you’d should expect from its price tag.
The volume control/tone control is a nice idea but falls flat in that the cable is pitifully short (Bluetooth would be cool) & the tone control while increasing/decreasing the bass also boosts the ludicrous deep low end that, on films will punch your windows out every time there’s a lightning strike, but will also make your cutlery rattle if an advert has the merest hint of a tumble dryer rumble.
If you use the control to remove this ‘low end’ you remove the comfortable bass as well & you’re left with just twangy treble.
A more comprehensive set of tone controls would have been nice, or at least the ability to turn off that infernal low bass until gaming or a suitable film is on.
Other than that… it’s well made & cool.

Amazing sound quality. The included subwoofer provides stunning cinematic bass that makes watching those Apple commercials a jaw-dropping experience.

Th stereo speakers itself are a bit on the ugly side for my liking but this wasn’t an issue for me as I knew they would be hidden behind my monitor. They provide extremely clear and loud audio quality.

The circular volume control is a lovely module. You can control volum and adjust bass. It also looks really classy on my desk. It also feeatures 2 aux 3.5 mm Jack ports.

Only problem is that I wish it shipped with Bluetooth built in.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing set of speakers at this price point. I use them as PC speakers for music/films/gaming. The sound quality is great; crisp with nice highs and lows, especially for this price range. They’re also very loud, I tend to keep them at about 25% with PC volume at 100%, adjusting as needed with the volume knob.
The knob for volume adjustment is professional looking, smooth and works really well. Although the cable to it is fixed, it’s long enough for my needs, just be aware it comes from the subwoofer, as do the connections for the two satellites.
There is a quiet hum when they’re on with no input, but it’s not particularly distracting and easily fixed by turning the volume down or turning them off, which is easy with the knob.

Overall, would recommend these for day to day speakers.

I accidentally pulled the wire out from my laptop output that goes in to the back of my speakers they are in a difficult position and the wire and plug managed to vanish just thought had these speakers for a long time and they must have packed up. Got onto Amazon found these speakers ordered for today, while waiting for today’s delivery realised what I had done got my old speakers working, oh dear new ones on the way well they arrived and I set them up happy happy happy, look I am fussy about speakers I hate going to places and find the speakers that look the business are awful, I did think about adding these to my tv but after puting them on my laptop I don’t think my neighbours are going to like me? but I really want another set! and I do love the remote bass and volume control really good idea, and it does look smart with the LED to show it is on.

I have been using these for a few months as TV speakers. The static buzz is there but because I don’t sit close to them it does not bother me. I switch them off when I switch off the TV.
For movies and general use are great. Not bad for music, but the highs are not as they should be, just lack the thrill. I guess it is because the speaks don’t have a tweat. Therefore not so good if you listen to instrumental music or certain type of music.
The Subwoofer is good in my opinion, it is there without killing the other sounds. In movies the subwoofer makes you feel the bass.
The price of the system is the strongest point (bought mine for 47). I wonder if I can keep the subwoofer but replace the speakers with better once at some point.
I hope all this makes sense (English is not my first language).

Really can hear what I couldn’t before. Deep bass, shakes the room if too loud, the satellite speakers (2 on the sides) offer very clear audio. I tested it with a few songs, the bass is clear, the treble and clarity of other instruments becomes apparent too. If using with a PC, I updated my Realtek audio driver to the latest one and turned ‘Smart Headphone Amp’ to level 3. This brings out the full audio range of the speakers. Older Realtek drivers don’t sound as good.

Volume control also has a bass slider which is always useful. Also has an AUX port and headphone jack, the AUX port works simultaneously with the PC so you can hear 2 songs at the same time if you wish. This brings many uses, like playing a voice recording through your phone via AUX while your PC plays a soothing song. It will mix them both together flawlessly.

The entire finish of the design looks very good on my setup (all black). The copper/gold accents and driver on the satellite speakers just gives that high quality finish

My advice would be to make sure you have the right audio driver. If you want the best sound you need a good driver, if you use a dedicated sound card then no problem there.

Replaced my logitech Z323 as i stupidly cut through the wire by accident and could never get them to work continually without losing the cut wired speaker.
Very well made but deep down felt the old system had more “grunt”. These are very good and bass levels are controlled better but somehow feel the smaller old speakers where better. Love the roller volume / bass attachment thats a great improvement.
Would i still recommend for the money – yes.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought these to replace a quite old set of Advent speakers and sub woofer. They are now attached to my pc and are of much better sound quality and appearance, and the remote control for volume and bass is a Godsend. Previously I had to keep pausing what I was watching to bend down to adjust the volume and bass of my old speakers, yet now, the remote sits on my pc table and is quite at hand, don’t even have to pause anymore, just reach out a tad and adjust as I watch. For the outlay they seem a good choice, not your B&O performance but very good non the less.

As someone that loves to watch movies in the cinema, my test for audio equipment is the VUE cinema intro, where they show off the bass capabilities of the cinema speakers, as well as the surround sound. This speaker system will make your floor tremble with fear, and your ceiling lights shake in anticipation, I cannot describe the absolute power of the subwoofer on this system. But I can say at 20/100 on the arbitrary television volume scale with the speaker volume on max, even my almost half deaf self could hear a pin drop in the movie I’m watching. If you’re looking for PC speakers these are overkill, in the saucy, sexy good way, as for a TV, they are perfect for an apartment, in a house you’ll want to get a proper surround sound system. Enjoy, friends!

If you put the speaker too close to your pc it may have a common issue – a small sound of hissing, as I replaced the order and check it again don’t have a solution for this issue. but put it in an appropriate distance is fine, it will difficult to notice the hissing sound in a quiet room since a high watt speaker may have this issue especially low/middle price range product I think.

Pro: Subwoofer is excellent, 60W RMS feels like in cinema, the bass is no complaint.

Con: potential to get a noise complaint from my neighbour if I turn the volume higher than 35%

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersExcellent piece of kit. Good sound quality for games and for music. Easy to set up. Very useful having the bass control, aux 3.5mm input and a headphone socket on the desktop control where you can get at them easily, rather than having to scrabble under a desk to plug things in. Its easy to fit RCA/phono extensions to the desktop speakers if you feel you need extra reach although for most standard setups the built in wire will be fine. It would be more convenient if the desktop control was not hard wired to the main bass unit as it would be simpler to feed a cable rather than the control itself.
There have been several review reporting mains hum issues. I haven’t had any problem. It may depend on whether you have mains cables close to audio cables.
However, very minor criticisms aside, it’s proved to be a highly satisfactory purchase so far and I have no regrets.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNice speaker and amp, sounds great. Minus 1 star as the cable that goes into the little control thingy only outputs 1 channel. I tried the cable on another system and it does the same so it’s defiantly faulty. Apart from that (Which only cost 75p to replace) this has got a nice sound quality that doesn’t distort at high volumes and good bass. I love the little volume and i/o puck that negates faffing about on the floor changing volume or plugging in headphones.
Build quality seems very good, the main box is quite weighty and the puck just feels quality.
Would I recommend this? Yes, for plugging into a pc or phone it’s great. Only things missing are Bluetooth and an optical input.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersReally good. I’m so happy to have chosen these over the cheaper Z333 model that seemed to have some slightly negative reviews on quality. You’ll probably struggle to find better quality for less than 100.

The bass is very rich and the desktop speakers have a crisp sound. I really can’t imagine needing more sound and volume than this on a desktop in a study really – if you do then probably best to spend a few hundred pounds or more on a proper hifi and link your computer to the aux port.

The gold colour of the speakers really compliments my gold 12″ MacBook, which is a bonus. 🙂

The controller is really smooth and feels professional. Both volume and bass level can be controlled from it. It also has a headphone socket. The action of the controller really allows you to smoothly deploy the full power of the unit or conversely reduce the power as needed.

The unit arrived next day on Prime and came with all the cables I needed to connect via a 3.5mm jack to the headphone socket on my monitor or on my computer. The setup was really easy.

Can’t really say anything bad about these the sound quality is great (for the price) also they are a decent size nothing massive and easy to add to a desk setup. Cables are nice and long however it would be nice if the volume and bass controller was detacheable. Would definitely recommend these for there price and if you can get them on sale then even better. If you see these being sold for more then 100 then do not buy them. Worth 75 of below. This will be a big upgrade in quality for anyone who is currently using old speakers.

(The Hum) I have noticed from my experience so far that there is a sort of electrical but it is no where near bad and hardly noticable unless you focus on it. Take note however you’ll only hear it when no audio is playing and with the speaker on. You can turn the speaker off when not in use by turning the volume all the way down till you hear the click. The click switches the speakers off and stops the hum if it is annoying you. Do not be put off buying these because of reviews saying the hum is very bad it really isn’t many are probably exaggerating and the hum is typical of most speaker systems. It does not ruin the experience at all.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m no audiophile, but I like to hear my sound clearly. These are a much needed upgrade from my creative t3100’s which were no longer sufficient and were having issues with reliability. The design of these are stylish and look great! They go very loud and sound very clear. Bass from the subwoofer is very pleasant and sometimes enough the shake all the walls in the house. Can also be used at low volumes and still produce clear sound. Volume knob is also very useful!

These still sound great even with slight tweaks on my EQ, long as you don’t be silly and maximise bass etc. It’ll sound great.

As for the complaints with the hissing noise, it’s only noticeable if the volume knob is all the way up and there is no audio playing, even then it’s barely noticeable and that’s coming from someone with great hearing. If anything it’s quite pleasant to hear when it’s faint, could honeslty sleep with it.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThink about what you are buying. If you are an audiophile, you aren’t considering these and so there is no point in purchasing and then being disappointed when they arrive.

For literally everyone else, these speakers are absolutely fantastic. You’re getting a subwoofer and 2 satellite speakers for literally a fraction of the price of other similar quality products or setting up a custom system. The bass is strong, the volume is great and the sound is crisp and clear. I have used these for my home office/gaming setup and they have been able to reproduce great quality sound for classical-kpop-hip hop – grime.

In regards to the hum: There is an audible hum when left idle, but you can turn off the speakers using the freestanding control wheel. Just turn the sound off when not in use. It isn’t difficult at all!

Very very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI have had these speakers for almost 4 months now, I previously had Creative Inspire T3300 (2.1) High performance Speaker System with Down Firing Ported Subwoofer and Wired Remote Control and needed a new set, I spent quite a while researching which speakers to get and I didn’t want to spend too much, as money is fairly tight and they were mostly to be used when i have guests over and occasionally listening to music (i usually use headphones). I picked the Logitech Z533 because reviews seemed decent and the price had just gone down to 49 pounds.

These are definitely superior to the Creative T3300s, i’m no audiophile but the sound is nice and balanced, the bass is punchy, overall there’s a good mix of clarity and heft. I will say that occasionally on certain bass frequencies there’s some rattling which is annoying, these speakers aren’t perfect. I’ve fiddled with equalizer settings (thanks to reading a couple of online tutorials), and now i’m generally very happy with the sound, although still occasionally have to make adjustments to the bass level on the remote.

There is a faint hum when the speakers are plugged in, regardless of whether they are turned on at the remote control or not. This doesn’t bother me, i have them switched off at the socket when i’m not using them, but just something to bear in mind.

The cables for the aux input and the remote control are not excessively long, approx 170 cm, which is fine to reach from the subwoofer on the floor up to my laptop on my desk.

So overall i DO think these speakers are very good for the price i paid. If i had spent significantly more, i’d still be OK with them, but i would suggest there might be better options (although having spent a fair while researching speakers on Amazon, it’s remarkably tough finding a set that get overwhelmingly positive reviews..). But for in and around their price point they are, at best, great. At worst, they’re still solid.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst time I’ve reviewed anything in years. Had to drop one for this set of speakers.

I honestly didn’t expect much for the price, I was going to drop 130 on the Z623 Logitech speakers as they were getting really good write ups but I had to refrain from that size of investment for a 2.1 setup for my PC. I read up a bit on this set as an alternative and decided to throw down on them as they were getting really good writes ups, by and large.

I have to say, I’m amazed at the quality already after just listening to some music for around an hour, these things are amazing for the value. One of the major kickers was a variable control for the bass and an AUX input within easy reach and this delivers on both counts. The bass is deep and luxurious and can rattle your rib cage if you’re into that kind of thing and the ease of just firing my MP3 player in via the AUX input is just so damn convenient for listening to my extra playlists.

I urge anyone that’s considering purchasing either these or something a bit more expensive to go for this set if you’d rather not spend too much, these are something special in my eyes, was very glad to pick them up.

Oh and they can go loud, very very loud.

    Happy listening.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA flatmate bought one of these for the flat kitchen. I liked the sound so I bought one myself. Between the two sets we have had a number of succesful parties.
This thing does chuck out a lot of bass although I have a sneaky suspicion that the adjustment knob on my set doesn’t work. Even so, it doesn’t seem as if the balance is out: the bass isn’t washing everything out. The volume dial is very convenient.
Overall a lovely 2.1 set. However, they do whistle when the dial is off and when it is in standby, something to consider if you want to put it in the same room you sleep in. The whistle does go away when the speakers are switched on and active.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally great value when I got it for 68~ and looks better than alot of speakers out there. Some complained about the volume controller cable being fixed into the subwoofer but I didn’t see it as a problem.
Sound is great! However, close to the speakers you can hear a dull quiet buzz which you won’t hear anyway if sound is played out. When turned off via remote, the buzz becomes a high pitched squeal which has to be fixed by switching it off at the mains.

These speakers just arrived today and I’m so happy with them. It, as expected, blows all the other cheap Bluetooth speakers and tower speakers that I’ve previously owned out of the water.
The sub is fairly large and hefty but still compact enough in the small space between my monitor and my wall, but boy does that thing kick hard, currently listening on ~50% volume and my keyboard is shaking. From an audiophile’s point of view it might not be the clearest or crispest sub in the world but it more than does the job I wanted – Loud hard kicks that shake the walls.
The two satellite speakers are really nice both in sound and looks. In fact, the satellites are the main reason I don’t crank the volume up full as they could do some serious damage to your ears if you’re sat close to them and playing something with sharp high-hats or something similar in pitch – But this is essentially still a positive!
The volume control knob is really nice, very intuitive and looks great.
As some others have mentioned some of the cables are a little messy and unsightly, but I just bundle them all behind my monitor so it doesn’t really bother me. The high-pitched noise is present, but is very easy to solve so doesn’t detract at all from the product for me.
As a final point, I’m not sure if this is even possible but these might be too loud? I’m scared to turn the volume to 100% because it hurts, my room is only small and I honestly cannot cope with it above about 75%! I bought these to use on my PC for games, music and movies, but also to use in the kitchen for parties or drinks with friends and this is more than suitable, the kitchen is only small and I feel like this would blow out the windows when max volume!
All in all a great product, definitely a good buy for the price too (75) I would wholeheartedly recommend this if you’ve got the money!

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersAfter spending countless hours researching and looking at the best 2.1 speakers I could ideally buy for under 100 I found myself deciding between these and the Trust Tytan 2.1 Bluetooth speakers. Although I knew the Tytan’s had a lower frequency response (supposedly 45Hz as opposed to the Z533’s 55Hz), my research suggested that the Logitechs performed better in reciprocating the mids and highs. Even though bass is a significant aspect of my preferred music genres (Rap, Grime, R&B etc.) I still wanted the most balanced sound across the board so I opted for these.

I previously owned Logitech LS21’s which had a RMS of only 7W so I knew the Z533’s were going to provide a whole new dimension to my music. While unboxing the speakers I was glad to feel that both the subwoofer and satellites had a decent weight to them (4kg and 525g x2 respectively) which is always reassuring. Setting up the speakers was very straightforward, anyone with any experience with PC speakers likely wont need the instructions but for anyone who does, the instructions on the box are clear and easy to follow.

After turning on the speakers and playing some music from a variety of sources (FLAC, MP3s & Spotify Premium) I was immediately impressed by the sound quality delivered. I’ll admit I’m no audiophile but I still possess a desire to hear my music with as much clarity as possible (within my budget). The Z533’s easily fill my university dorm room with clear, balanced sound at half volume. Even when pushing it to the max volume on the control pod and at the music source there is no distortion. The bass response from the subwoofer is punchy and satisfying, even at half capacity which is where I usually leave it to avoid annoying my flatmates and people living below me too much haha. Whilst I am completely satisfied with my Z533’s, If you have a large room or desire a great deal of bass I’d still recommend you opt for the Z623’s or the Z901’s for 5.1 surround and THX certification.

My main con with this system so far (and with most Logitech speakers) is the that the cable from the control pod to the subwoofer is non-removable. This can hinder your ability to setup the speakers in the exact location you may desire. It also means that if that cable becomes damaged, you’ll have to go out and get an entirely new subwoofer. Bluetooth connectivity would have also been handy with this system, although this can be achieved through buying a bluetooth audio adapter separately (I know, more money…).

I hope my review has been helpful! I have also included a few pictures of the system and size comparisons next to my LS 21 subwoofer and satellites. If like me, you have been researching into a good 2.1 system, I can tell you look no further. 🙂

**Edit: January 2017** The Z533’s are still going strong with absolutely no problems, I am still completely satisfied with my purchase. Using EQ software has allowed me to fine tune the sound stage to my liking. I have however since bought the Logitech Bluetooth adapter which functions perfectly with the speakers, allowing me to be more mobile with my devices while experiencing no noticeable loss in audio quality as opposed to wired listening.

Great sound, great quality. highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersIt took me a while to choose the speakers for my desk looking at review after review. I came across these by mistake as I didn’t really want a subwoofer. I’ll tell you now, I’m so glad I did.
The sound it very good and not tinny at all. Very clear and doesn’t distort even with volume turned right up.
I’ve tried all types of music, YouTube videos and games.

Gaming is were these really shine the sound drags you into the game play and is crystal clear.

It’s very easy to set up. A plug to the mains. The 2 speakers into the sub, then the 3.5 jack to the source you want the sound from tv, monitor, PC, IPod and even your phone.

It has a very nice turn volume control which just feel right and somehow makes you ask why aren’t all volume controls like this.
This control unit itself also has a 3.5 jack output for your headset if you need it.
It’s also got a base control on the side of the volume control unit. This is perfect if your playing a fps and your wife is shouting to turn it down as she can hear the bass down stairs hahahah.

The speakers come with lots of cable as well so should be good for most large desks.

They look very sleek and minimalist but have a nice gold cone in the speakers itself.

It does however have that shiny piano black finish which is a total dust and finger print magnet which can drive you potty if your a neat freak like me.
Saying that it’s a very small negative with a whole lot of positive.

I would wholeheartedly recommend buying this to anyone.

With the UK plug, this set of speakers has done exactly what my wife wanted.

Lights are clear and un-distorted, lows are clear and not too over based. The woofer, wow…. packs one hell of a punch, even on low.

essentially, one of the best speakers for the money you can buy…. gamer, music buff, even movies… all of them sound crystal clear on these.

Also, I know one review said they buzz at night…. well, our set are in the bedroom and I don’t hear anything and nor does my wife. I would imagine they got a faulty pair and should return them.

For us, great speakers and may be MY next upgrade for my PC as well.

For 79.99 these speakers are amazing. They sound like they could easily be worth five times that amount! The sub woofer creates a great amount of bass. The built quality and design is great. Another point to mention is that they go SO LOUD! You will not believe the volume these speakers produce until you hear them yourself. They go so loud that it’s unbearable to listen to for more than a few seconds (impressive!). At the time of purchase these also came with a free Bluetooth adapter, which is great because now I can connect my iPhone to them to play music. One last thing to point out is that with the Bluetooth adapter, I can use these speakers as an output for both my TV and my music simultaneously! This is great as I can easily switch between music/movies/gaming without having to manually change any inputs. If you’re looking for a cheap set of speakers (that do not sound cheap) then you’ve come to the right place.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was bought to replace a great Trust 2.1 set of speakers that started to fall apart on the 3,5 jack end. Meaning it changed channels more times than the Tilbury Ferry and that was it’s only fault.
Just to let you know that the volume/bass control is about palm size and I had to find a new place to put it as I couldn’t get it to sit on my desk anymore.
The speakers are smaller than the Trust ones and the bass speaker is thinner but at least it allows for cable management better than the last boom box.
The sound is tiny on certain media aspects but handles the tempo and beats very well when playing about with the volume controller.
I will update in a few years time like I did with the Trust speakers.
Time will tell, but so far, a good buy.
