Aspect qualitatif.
Facile installer, MAIS les 6 vis fournies sont longues et en filetage partiel !
Pas de problme au niveau du rebord de la portire qui est plus pais mais ncessit d’acheter des vis courtes pour fixer sur la tle.
Nice item, fitted to 2 sheds to up security.
Bolts are very long so you may need some wood to use as spacers on the rear.
Just be aware these are useless on sheds unless you fit security screws to the door hinges too, the one way type screws are best but once in you wont get them out.
This is a strong and heavy lock for my Van. Seems to be a good buy. Only minor niggle is the heads of the bolts showed signs of rust only a couple of day after fitting. Still leaving a 5* review as it now blends in with my van.
Robusto
Ha quedado muy bien puesto en la furgoneta puerta lateral y trasera, se ve muy fuerte ,espero que sea suficiente para disuadir a los cacos, lo nico malo que en la primera lluvia se oxido un poco
Van lock
Bought it for the campervan easy to fit just that the screws are a bit too long other wise good
Looks good
I love this lock. Fitted easily on the back of my Renault 3.5 horse box. Looks good. Unlock and use the door – plus lock up again – simple and quick.
Very strong
A good layer of protection. These are much heavier and solid then you would think. They weight a ton. If you do not have the perfect space for the bolts like myself, you will have to use alternative installation methods. I had the driver and passenger door on a van that is offroad. Some local people from the YMCA started to use it as a night shelter among other things, broke the window etc. I put up cameras and these bolts. Some of the bolts fit, the others did not. I used heavy duty bonding sealant on them as well as on the sides of the doors to make it hard to try and open the doors. Works fine as the druggies are not well equipped or intelligent. With cctvs pointing right at the van at all angles (solar powered) it all adds to the layers of security. Layers matter.
Value for money!
Thought at that price it wouldn’t be that sturdy but it was really study and substantial.
Very well made.
Fitted to my new shed now like Fort Knox!
Had to get different bolts for my shed because the supplied bolts have a waste on them so not threaded all the way up, I needed to cut them and there wouldn’t have been enough thread left, not a fault of course just my situation needed shorter bolts, these locks are great quality very strong I decided to paint them brown to match my new shed plus hopefully they won’t rust, they do come with since plating which looks pretty good but I painted mine just so it doesn’t stand out so much on the shed, these are a great solution tamper resistant much better than traditional hasp and staple set up and reasonably priced for Amazo
Shed lock.
Used this as a cheap and secure lock for my old wooden shed.
I bought the shed used and it had an old (and insecure) staple and hasp on the outside. (However it did have a series of heavy duty bolts on the inside?) I dont know what my shed did in its previous life but now its exciting ‘locked from the inside days’ are over.
This lock worked out cheaper than a new staple and hasp, padlock and set of coach bolts as everything came supplied.
If there comes a time when I want to upgrade the internal locks, I’d have no hesitation to get 3 of these.
Will be ideal for shed doors etc, I bought this for my van doors but haven’t installed it, back plates are a bit rough so may take paint off, could do with a thin rubber backing really, also the shackle lock has a bit of loose play so would rattle on a vehicle, as I said though, this would be perfect on shed doors etc
Good, sturdy and cheapest on amazo
This is the cheapest i found on here so wasn’t sure if it was going to be any good. Once it arrived i opened it and to my surprise it’s built really well, lock is nice and sturdy and overall feels premium. 100% best value for your money.
I am going to fit this to the inside of my rear doors on my van as I don’t like to advertise I have something I need to protect in my van. It looks and feels very tough so more than happy with it. I’ve had some advice which I’m going to follow and that is to get rid of the paint and use tiger seal/no nails to attach it to the door as well as bolts/tek screws. Anyone with an angle grinder can get rid of the head of bolts in seconds but somthing glued on as well will make it tougher for the little bastards
