Very made well but pad lock a bit poor very thin key and not easy bolt locking system very sticky.
Looks great and easy to install but poor locking system .
I replaced pad lock for a more secure type .
Decent bit of kit for the price
Easy to install, required a bit of digging out of the drive but it was not a problem. You don’t need a great deep hole. Once in place got some quick drying concrete.
Despite not being very deep in the ground its very sturdy.
Even the provided padlock is good.
I have it at the rear of our camper van to deter thieves. It even prevents the rear doors being opened as its quite tall.
Overall very pleased and looks the part!
Has a construction worker I recommend that you prevent the concrete from get into the hinge I made a gap, provide a soak-away and give the hinge plenty of lubrication and grease to prevent rusting.

Just what I needed to comply with insurance requirements. Easy to fit and look good. Came with locks included.

Simple economical visual deterrent to lowlife. Basic DIY skills needed.
Good detera
Post substantial enough but latch flap which holds it in place very thin and would not take much to cut through. Fitting Easy if going into new concrete drive but less so if you have to dig out after the event. Not sure how it will fare after time in the ground as it appears to be painted mild steel which will rust. I will be sealing the space around the post and socket to stop the ingress of water with custom made rubber. It would be good if it came with something like this. Lock provided OK but you might want to invest in something more substantial.

Postivitly Secure
Good strong post to prevent theft from the drive. Quite easy to install into blocked driveway, I drove extra steel bars into the hole at angles to insure it could not be pulled out easily.
Brought 2 of these to protect driveway, both cars and people from using drive to turn around on, very sturdy came with padlocks which gave up after a couple of months but purchased better quality ones, overall an effective crime deterrent. Easy to set into concrete make sure you put gravel underneath bottom of bollard before concrete otherwise no drain for water filling up bottom off bollard.

Strong
I used this to stop a very large gate from being opened so hard the hinges would be ripped off.
This is a great product easy to cement in and very easy to use
Security at home
Needs digging a hole and cementing in, but when done simple to use. Came on time and has made driveway more secure for my car. Highly recommended for the price.
Sturdy
This is the second one I’ve purchased as the first one bent making it difficult to remove probably hit by a vehicle,so with this one I have inserted steel bars to make it sturdy
The post it’s self is pretty good. Unlike some other post that just bolt to the floor it is a stronger design with it being semi sunk into the ground.
However unlike some others the post has to be taken out and left to the side, where as some other designs the post can retract into the ground making it much easier to live with on a daily basis.
The post is good, the lock is questionable and looks a little weak, but it’s an extra security feature that’s either going to make the robbers move on to the easier vehicle down the road, or slow them down in the process giving you more chance to stop them. And if 35 pounds saves your expensive pride and joy it’s worth it to me.
Installing the post was fairly easy, I’m not a ground worker and watched YouTube videos to learn how to install posts.
With a lump hammer, chisel and spade I dug the hole deep enough in no more than 15 minutes. Some premixed concrete and a spirt level to keep it straight and done.

Great produc
Bought this to place in front of my metal door to my workshop. Just dig the hole to the correct depth making sure that the door opens and closes properly when the post is removed then concrete in. it works perfect impossible to open the door now without removing the post, even I unlock the the door itself
I did through search for parking posts & read reviews noted from review in Sept17 (model engineer) about drilling hole n bottom of ground plate & painting the metal, greasing the post to stop rusting or freezing even a coat of clear varnish to keep yellow paint in tack. I have taken all his advice but if you haven’t got a tin of metal paint or varnish or multipurpose grease this is an extra expense but I think his suggestions had merit as my contracter concrete it in on a gravel bed so any water will soak away. Fast delivery,easier to fit & looks good & bright to keep people parking or turning on my new drive. With only a small base about ground & no bolts to fit I can easily lift out & drive on & off. Only been in 3wks so no pics
The post itself is very sturdy and will no doubt add to the security of my caravan.
BUT – AND A VERY BIG BUT.
DO NOT BUY IT TOGETHER WITH THE 10 KEY PADLOCK WHICH AMAZON UNFORTUNATELY PLACES TOGETHER UNDER THE TITLE FREQUENTLY PURCHASED TOGETHER.
THE LOCK IS VERY STURDY BUT IS TOO BIG FOR THE SECURITY POST – BUY A SEPARATE LOCK.
Top notch anti theft post for parked vehicle. I ordered My brother one of these posts as he hasn’t got an account yet an he was very much surprised with what he received for his money the pol is good quality and the security lock supplied is good quality too very cheap
Some of the reviews criticised the locks but I think they are quite good as locks go. The yellow body is larger than the picture portrays, this is a good feature. You would need an angle grinder to cut the lock of if you concrete the base into the ground with a large base area. One of the reviews on your web site suggested drilling a hole in the base of the bottom fixing plate to let any water out. I did take this advice before concreting the posts in position,I all so painted the hole after drilling the 9 mm diameter hole. I also have applied a water proof grease around the contact area of the post this should stop water ingress and stop it freezing in the winter. I was a prototype engineer and toolmaker for 50 years before I retired and I think these are well designed and good value.
ook a bit of digging out the hole, and concreting, but having said that it can be quite easy to do yourself, and now I feel that my shed is so much more secure.
Great parking security
Easy to install with a little DIY knowledge and some basic tools. It looks sturdy and the padlock provided appears to be decent enough. It certainly will stop all but the most determined with a 4×4 and some tools from parking on my drive.
