The best VR headset for the cost. Works great as a standalone vr headset or even better when connected to a pc either wired or wireless.

I had problems with blur on the lense. text or distant items seemed blurry but by replacing the standard straps the headset comes with a third party one improved this greatly by getting the headset closer to my eyes and in the sweat spot for the lenses. Would definitely recommend replacing the straps to anyone going to buy one or who has one and struggles with blu

Bought for my son at Christmas. I feel like I’m living in a SF movie now. On some games (like resident evil 4) the visuals could be better but for the price, it’s pretty amazing.
Yes, you have to register a fb account (we don’t use FB) but it’s no big deal – just create a new email account and then a fb account that you don’t have to use.

This is a truly wonderful investment. Playing games in 3 dimensions is so satisfying. The free game RE4 has kept me enthralled since my purchase in March, fighting deranged villages and mad monks is totally engrossing with genuine scare moments, Another app I love is basically Google Streetview in 3D. Being able to wander round cities as if you were there is amazing, I even saw an iceberg in Greenland. The catalogue of games is large with some free or with free trials.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAt the original 300 price this was a good deal, not sure the deals still good at 400, after 2 months of ownership and another 50 in bought apps, have run through all the free content and pretty much use it exclusively for beat sabre (very addictive game), 10yo uses it infrequently ie 2-3 times a week, plays more of the social linked games which I’m less happy about hearing him conversing with complete strangers, but its not got the draw I was expecting, and not enough good free content, there are plenty of video’s online of the content and its as good as it looks on the screen if not better, I tried the virtual desktop to run C.O.D, but the latency made that impractical, probably good for slow paced / turn based games etc, but really wearing it the full charge time is bearable but not ideal and probably not a good idea generally, I’ve no comparison to other brands but it met my expectation 3D immersive wise and exceeded i

We’ve used VR in city centre shops before and always thought you needed an expensive computer with a good enough graphics card, storage, memory, then an expensive and clunky VR headset on top. When I discovered this I couldn’t believe my eyes. For the price, it is absolutely unreal. It’s the exact same quality as any VR experience we have had before – but now it’s in my living room – in my kitchen – anywhere!

I also bought the additional headstrap you can get which is weighted and helps with comfort as well as being able to charge as you play (I think – I’ve not fully explored and got my head around it all yet – I’m sure there’s a pun there I’ve missed…). It’s still not fully, fully comfortable – but I guess, what can I expect with a whole new world strapped to my head?!

But anyway, well worth it. And thousands of reasons to buy it. Can’t wait to let my family have a try when they are next over!

Bought for my 15 yo for Christmas. I’ve since had a go and don’t really see why it’s better than the PS4 VR, but he seems to think it’s so much better. It is a lot easier to set up and doesn’t have cables all over the place, which I think is his reason for preferring it as it means he can play anywhere, even outside. He also reckons the controllers are much better than the PS4 ‘sticks’ (or whatever they’re called). Don’t know myself as I’ve never used them. Not sure what the PS4 VR costs these days, but those extra controllers weren’t cheap, and since some PS4 games require them it does work out a little expensive. However if you’re considering buying the Oculus, don’t forget you have to buy games especially for it, i.e. to my knowledge, it’s not compatible with other gaming systems.

Bought as a present for my son & it’s fantastic. Yes they are expensive but it’s well worth the price. Only thing I’d say is the battery life on them is poor.

We purchased for our daughters Christmas present, I’m embarrassed to say she’s had to share it with the whole family we’ve all become obsessed ha ha. Unbelievably immersive make sure you have clear space and nobody to accidentally hit whilst boxing away my wife has used this excuse 3 times now as she’s clouted me I’m still not convinced they where accidents. The headset is great I can see another couple being added to the household

Never used VR before so purchased this as a starter so can’t compare it to anything else, but anyway it came with two games resident evil and beat saber. Not into horror games but got addicted to this one with some scary moments and great graphics. Beat saber is very good but my relexes are not great so need alot of practice. Love how you can mark a play zone to stop you bumping into things, lots of fun things to do, still finding my way but overall love this especially as its all wireless. Only thing I need is some headphones for it and that’s so I haven’t got everyone asking me every two mins what I’m doing. Was expensive but was the cheapest on Amazon.

I’m not really someone who played games, but I’ve always wanted to try VR and decided to get one on Black Friday and am not disappointed, now I find myself allocating 30mins every night to play on it.

Very pleased with the meta quest 2, its easy to use, comfortable and alot of fun.
Some people have complained about the slight gap in the nose bit, you can see it at start up but once you start gaming you can’t see it, not a concern tbh.
I would recommend this item to anyone that wants to experience next level gaming.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSo I have been desperate for one of these for a while now. Finally got one and I am blown away by the full experience, functionality and quality. It feels like something right out Minority Report! The games are amazing, the VR content brilliant, and in particular apps like prime and sitting in a cinema as you watch your favourites, well the experience is phenomenal!

My only gripe. Before I purchased this I looked for content. There was so many apps that said they were free and a lot I wanted. Educational and historical type stuff. When I setup my account suddenly the cheapest thing was 7.99 with others higher. This was all on the meta store so kinda confused me.

That said, there is multiple sources for apps and games that do have great content free, or reasonable cost. Tbh even on the meta site you aren’t breaking the bank so it’s not really a big deal. Just to give people a heads up. This won’t put you off and you will love this thing! Already planning another for the other half. Can’t wait to see what meta has in store in the next few years!

It’s crazy if you’ve never tried VR like me before a mate introduced me your in for a treat and the Quest 2 is a brilliant bit of kit so bought one for my son lol think I got to buy a third for the other so
