Very good performance for gaming and high refresh rate screen 144hz.
Also big screen size is one of the advantages.
One thing that you need to know before purchase is the shape of “Enter” key is US keyboard shape unless you use a separate keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersContext, I’m from England just in case it runs different in different countries. And I managed to get this bad boy for just under 800!!!

So, this is my first couple of impressions. As, I’ve only had it for a couple of days.

( The looks ) Not a beautiful laptop. But … not ugly either. Just completely black. With the red rgb keyboard. The overall quality is good. And the size of the screen is great! For this I would give it a rating of 4 out 5 in this department.

( The screen ) If the laptop is lacking in one department it’s this. The colour of the screen is not bad. Actually pretty good for a gaming laptop. But with that said. The brightness is just lacking. Sometimes I think is this on full? Then to check it is. So, yeah little dark for me. For this I would give it 3/5 in that department.

( The performance ) Well, I was surprised on just how well it handles it’s self. Especially with the fact it has the lower end rtx 30 series GPU. Everything just looks unreal. I can’t believe on just how well it managed to have the highest settings with high frame rate. So, yeah to say it was a surprise.

I thought i might regret the 3050ti. But, definitely not. So, for this it’s getting 4.5/5. At the end of the day it’s not the highest end gpu. But yeah for the price I’m not complaining.

( Other things to consider ) The software that comes with this laptop is to say the least terrible. Just, hard to use. Not what I want and overall lagy. Just a complete 1/5. I don’t think it’s a massive deal. But, thought I’d let you know.

Now also the keyboard is good and very usable. I think it’s a little different from most. But, your get use it. 3.5/5 for me.

One last thing is the heat of the laptop is great? I’m a little confused. As a lot of people who review the laptop on YouTube say it gets too hot. I used to have a old gtx 1050ti laptop. And this thing runs so cool compared. Just gets warm to the touch and warm air blows out. Never hot. So, I find it weird why people say that. .

( Overall ) I’m happy with it. Very happy. I think for the price I got it for you couldn’t get better. I would have paid more and still been extremely happy.

If I change my mind on anything I’ll let you know. Hope this is helpful.

So not the best on the market but to step up will cost about 1000 more. The screen is huge, looks amazing. Good light up keyboard. Very very fast. And the fans aren’t too loud. I bought this to work with my Meta2 which it does very well. I’m not sure my router keeps up, but with a 3 metre usb c, superb.

Games on the kit, I’ve yet to find one that slows down.

It’s pretty large and pretty heavy, but if you want a pad, buy a pad, I want something hyper fast. (Note to those with a partner, the sound comes more out the back than the front, great sound, just can annoy others.

I also like the lit up keyboard and that you can turn the light on or off or tailor how bright it is.

Really good for the price, it’s loaded with power, hyper fast and has a very nice graphics card. I’m impressed, it’s everything I wanted.

Purchased for 900 which to me seems insanely good value compared to the alternatives.
I have not spent anytime real time using it yet however what I can say is…

    Everything works as it should.
    Build quality seems great.
    Runs really well.
First thing my kid done, was install Fortnite. I was surprised to see it run consistently over 200fps @ 1080 epic quality settings.

I cannot comment on any other factor as of yet other than very happy with it.

My only criticism would be the red backlight for the keyboard is horrible (boils down to personal taste though) any other colour would be better in my opinion. I knew this before I purchased though so it wasn’t a nasty shock for me.

It’s all about the settings with this version of windows and this laptop’s battery life.
If you are just surfing the web and doing light work and have the settings on best power efficiency, then the battery last’s quite well 6 hours plus. But if you are playing a game on best performance settings, the battery only lasts about an hour or so. Basically, if you are playing games, then you need to have it plugged in. When it is plugged in, it is very good.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI’ve been looking for an upgrade from my 6-years companion for a while. I’m a designer and my new laptop had to match some specific criteria to run software’s like AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc. After extensive research I settled for this MSI device, and I am glad to say I was not disappointed.

The laptop comes as powerful as expected. Tested a few games like DOA6 and Cyberpunk2077 and the performance was impressive (you may need to tweak some settings in the games to make them run effortlessly). AutoCAD runs without hiccups, and I was also able to run some projects on Davinci Resolve with no stress.

The screen is not super bright, but I don’t find it as an issue as I mostly operate the unit indoors. The battery life is not the best, but I suspect it has a lot to do with the processes the laptop runs (the fans, the backlit keyboard and so on, which by way can also be tweaked to have a longer lasting battery experience). The build is plastic, and honestly, I was expecting the worst but upon arrival I was really surprised. Its sturdy to the touch, hardly catches fingerprint marks and overall has a clean look.

The best part for me is that is future proof and upgradable: the memory can be upgraded from a maximum of 64GB, the SSD can also be expanded.

I was also expecting the laptop to be quite heavy, with its 17.3″ screen, but I honestly is not any heavier than my previous laptop that has a 15.6″ screen.

To cut the long story short, if you are on a budget but still want high performance, to suit your needs, you might want to consider this one. Not the best on the market, but for the price is definitely one of the best options out there.

    High Performance on a Budge

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have a pretty impressive desktop machine for gaming but needed a new laptop I could take to university, but also wanted something that could run the games I enjoy playing the most – saw this on the amazon early access sale and it ticked all my system requirements.

My only gripe is that the amazon specs list it as a 4.7ghz processer speed, in reality it’s 2.7ghz. That wasnt as surprise for me as I am familiar with the I7 however may be a dissapointment to others.

Some of the other reviews are really harsh on the battery, which I think is pretty unjustified. If you’re looking for a laptop that can run top spec games for eight hours at a time without a charge – what youre actually looking for is a desktop computer. High end games, drain batteries and there are very few situations I can think of that would result in you being stationary and thus playing games for prolonged periods of time, without having access to a plug socket.

The machine lasts me all day at university with multiple programs running, gaming and youtube during any downtime and gets plugged in when im back at home.

Another minor thing to be aware of, even though dimensions are specifically stated, its a big laptop. I knew 17.3 inch screen was going to be larger than usual but even then I was still surprised at the size (its still light and thin enough to be portable).

This is a really good gaming computer, I’m able to play any last gen games with excellent performance and no issues. However, it first came with the wrong charger and I had to send it back to the MSI in Poland, which took 2 weeks of my first experience with it.

Managed to buy this one on offer, and boy was it worth it. Very powerful laptop (and Windows 11 is wonderful). The battery life leaves something to be desired, but when it’s plugged in, it runs superbly. The screen is larger than an average laptop, and unfortunately the keyboard is *always* red, but beyond that, it runs smoothly and without any issues. I’ve always been a desktop user, but needed a laptop for work and travel…this one fit the bill and then some, and can stream, game and work really well indeed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was very hasty about journeying into PC gaming with a laptop but I’m glad I did. I bought this during prime day and I will not look back, the laptop is fast and runs games smoothly providing it is plugged in, which is to be expected due to the hardware built in.

It can run games from as small as Hotline Miami all the way to Payday 2 and Ready or Not on the highest graphical setting.

I would highly recommend this product, especially as you get a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

If you do decide to purchase this, I highly recommend looking into an external fan mat to help preserve the life of the laptop itself as well as an external hardrive for bigger games, especially if you plan to mod them!!

Pros: excellent graphic quality, runs most games really well, operates smoothly and pretty hassle free laptop overall.

Cons: battery doesn’t last very long and needs charged frequently, touchpad a little awkward for my personal liking
