Great accessory. As first time parents it gave us some added piece of mind. Allowed us to get better quality sleep which is worth a lot as new parents. Got it on a deal price and haven’t bothered paying for the added insights subscription as already does what we need.

Really handy and easy to setup. We bought an IPad mini separately to use as a screen for the nanit which last for a good couple of days before needing a recharge. Works well on our iPhones as well which is handy for checking in when we don’t have our iPad to hand

We love our Nanit camera and love that we have the portable stand to take every time we stay away! Having the app means that both of us can always see our baby wherever, whenever! A big spend but really worth it for us!

We have previously had Motorola monitors but the last one was such poor quality we returned it. The Nanit is in a different league, the quality of the video, sound and ability to record and monitor over time is second to none. One thing I didn’t realise when I ordered it was that it doesn’t come with a monitor and instead you use your mobile phone or tablet, it means you have better quality but you might want a spare phone for this purpose.
It also offers a split monitor capability so we can watch both children on the same app, very few offer that functionality.

Pros – We like the high camera quality & activity updates that notify & record when there’s sound / movement. Also like the temperature reading on the camera for baby sleeping. Cons – temporary camera cut out or slight lags. When you speak into your phone to the camera it is super loud & wakes baby ; music / sounds also really jarring & loud – not sure if there’s a volume control?

Love this camera. Even though it is expensive, it does so much for the price. I can monitor my baby’s sleep patterns and work out the trend and areas of improvement etc. love i

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove the features of the Nanit.
Our daughter has loved the white noise and wind noise to help her sleep.
Built in night light is very useful. Nanit app is very easy to navigate and is good for tracking baby’s sleep and wake up times to summarise how long they have slept for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use and set up

Really enjoying this baby cam! It’s our second child and wish we had this with the first one. She is a bit of a fast one and starting rolling at 3months old so the breathing sensor gives us some peace of mind- I still wake up to check on her once a night. The app gives useful tips and sleep insight which is really good for trying to get baby into a routine. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

It’s pretty accurate, very clear image and trustworthy. Quite annoying when doesn’t load as you need to close and open the app various times for it to work. Not paying the premium membership but with the basic is more than enough.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have only been using the Nanit for 4 days now and so far so good in terms of camera quality, breathing monitoring and the dashboard. Only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the app.

    -my temperature sign doesn’t work.
-the sound is low and I can barely hear anything in the room.

If I didn’t have the above issues then it’s 5 star all round.

The Nanit camera with breathing band has worked wonders for my anxiety. I’m an overly worried first time mum and I used to stay up watching my baby breath so this has helped me get some rest at night (now that baby’s sleeping is a bit better).
Pros- camera, night vision, app set up are all great and exactly what you need, including helpful features like temp checker, nightlight (which I love) and white noise.
Cons- these are cons I feel the company should look into fixing but I’d still recommend to a friend.
The Velcro on the breathing band is really loud to remove, difficult when you put it on to tight or loose and baby is asleep and you have to re do it.
The stand doesn’t adjust in height which I really wish it did as we have a lot of area in our bedroom that sets off the motion detectors, which don’t need to be visible on camera.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks like a dream! The picture quality is flawless and it’s easy to use, so no complications for first time parents. All the insights it offers gives us such a great understanding of how well our little one is doing! Top notch and state of the art, can’t wait to learn more from it as we go along. Recommend it highly if you’re looking for the right monitor!

Just got hold of the Pro (moving from the Plus) and we have noticed improved picture quality, more so with night-vision but we still find the picture a tad grainy for “1080p”. It is just a shame manufacturers do not focus on picture quality.
Nanit do provide the best overall package of all the baby monitors, when you consider together the camera, app functionality (breathing monitoring, measuring, intercom, light, music, background sound) and ease of use (intuitive app and prompt notifications). Insights seems a bit hit or miss but we assume that is because we are still using the Snoo (bassinet) for our LO, only time will tell.
