I got this one and now its useless. It doesn’t even connect my phone to the wifi. Its always turned off even i set it up to 24 hour parking mode. I wasted money. Do not buy this
This camera set up is fantastic!! IT was an incredibly easy set up, the app works flawlessly, and their customer service is absolutely amazing!! I had a problem with the camera... the Nexar customer service team was so quick to talk to me and resolve my issue! There are few companies left that will treat customers like this... but Nexar is certainly one of them! Buy their products, you will not be disappointed!!

I really love this camera. The mount is super easy to use this easy to plug-in. The app is super friendly. The picture is amazing. It’s nice and clear even for a 1080 HD.. and I loved the price I was able to get it at Amazon pricing

This records all my drives and I feel safe and secure knowing i.covered in any event of an accident. Before I bought this I was always wanting one but never came to my senses...I was recently in. Car accident last week while at a stop light and the car In Front of me reverse and hit me. He denied everything. So I finally made it appoint to buy for both of my vehicles. All I have to say is I'm so glad I purchased them. And the Install is so easy!

Easy to use and set up. I just hope it's never discontinued because I have two now. I bought an expensive camera before that ended up useless because our was discontinued

Easy to install the only downside is that if u have multiple cars you need to pair the dash cam every time or if you have multiple driver you need to do the same thing I just wish it would pair automatically, other than that it works great.

This camera catches all you need from interior to exterior footage of any interesting things or accidents. I have used this dash cam faithfully and fortunately, have not had to record an accident. Knock on wood.
The camera can record to your phone with little to no interpretations to Bluetooth. You may have a glitch here and there but most of the video remains in tact.

Really liked the features and quality of this camera specifically night vision, Has front and interior facing camera also can be use as back camera. App can be improved more better.
I like that it’s so easy to see the videos on my phone. Videos are good during the day but I wish nighttime videos of vehicle interior were better. I like that front facing camera can be hidden behind the mirror. I work Uber on weekend nights and like that people don’t notice the camera. Very good camera for the price.

The camera quality on this is decent. 1080p is plenty for making out Reg plates (if there’s not a huge amount of glare).
Unfortunately I was involved in a collision with a stupid biker a few days ago. Without this cam it’d of been here-say with the insurance companies. Thanks to Nexar’s intuitive app, hard brake detection and auto & manual clip generation I now have the muppet dead to rights as going into the back of me. Which is clear as day from the interior camera. Which was a pleasant surprise. Shame there isn’t a rear mountable camera too but angled correctly the inside camera does catch views from the rear and side windows
Few side notes I don’t really enjoy;
– I had a day of 4 hrs of driving. The 2nd 2hr leg over-wrote the previous journey as my allocated phone storage was set to 50% on the app by default. Therefore I lost a lot of footage. I’ve been on with the Nexar team via emails and they said I can up my allocated storage. Hopefully that problem is now solved.
– I can’t say much about the night vision. I’ve not tested it.
– I highly recommend buying a 3rd party 124GB SD with this camera. They are a lot cheaper separately.
– The app can be tetchy but on IOS is does run well 99% of the time.

Everything about this product is sleek and nice, including the packaging that comes in. But there is one deal breaker. I transport non-emergency medical patients for work and have been required to record and keep all footage of rides while transporting those patients. I am still trying to figure out how to keep 10 hours of footage every day while I am transporting people. I reached out to the company to be told that you can only record “Clips” of rides but not necessarily keep the entire recorded ride. This is decidedly inconvenient because the whole reason I bought the camera for myself and my husband was to be able to save everything right to the cloud so we did not have to mess with Uploading footage from SD cards onto the computer every day after work. If anyone has tips on this it would be helpful to know.

However, even short clips are too large to share via email which defeats the purpose if you need to provide proof to someone, like police or a lawyer. Also, interior views are not immediately available. You have to either download them from the SD card, or find them on the cloud which, so far, I have been unable to figure out how to do. Incidentally, the adhesive clips for the wire are completely useless. The first relatively warm day and they all lost their adhesion and left the cords hanging all over the interior of my car.

Wow , but today … it’s not recording the road, but recorded the routes… they have online support, it suggest me to turn on the button “ I drive an electric car” ( even though I’m not ) , will see if it records the road tmr. Online support has real person trying to help me, but few hrs after I sent my questions ( but I’m pretty glad they actually replied) oh and the lady told me there’s SD card as a back up, even though I might not see the video on my phone, it’s already in the SD card. It will be awesome ( 5 stars) if this one can work with CarPlay bette

This is my third Nexar DashCam.
Not that the first two were trashed and no good. But this is good enough for me to buy one for each car.
Price might be a bit much, but it is priced right for me.
This is my first with rear facing second Cam. So I could see front and rear. Not. The rear facing is for cabin recording, not rear windshield recording. I will need to test if I could use extension to move the rear facing cam to the rear windshield.
I don’t like Nexar different type of mounting system. The first two I purchased were ball mount, and this third is slide mount. I mean the connections from the DashCam to the suction cup mount on the windshield. Why don’t they, all Cam companies, just choose one type.
Quality is good for day recording, but night recording is not as clear. I mean like license plate, which glow and not able to see the letter and numbers.
Nexar doesn’t have LCD screen. It has MicroSD to record in a loop. I am using max 128GB chip, which should last more days. For real time viewing, I need to connect to my smart phone with app and watch driving on the phone screen. Also, hope you are good with setup. Because sometime the app start recording automatically and sometime it doesn’t. For me, now I just connect to my app before I start driving to make sure it does recording on my phone. But you could always get recording from the MicroSD card if you don’t need to see while you are driving.

Most would require one to jump through too many hoops to view and many would require you to save the image to your phone. I don’t want to have to sit for 10 minutes setting up my dash cam every time I’m wanting to go somewhere. This one is the closest one to plug and play that I have tried. The rear camera shows a view of the car interior and occupants with a view of the outside windows which is great for Uber but I would like a little more quality of the image outside the back window. If it’s too bright one just sees a very bright rear window with minimal image although the side windows are adequate. I am more concerned about the car coming at me from behind. Clarity could be improved. I think they wanted to focus on the passengers which is excellent but I liked my rear camera on another manufacturer better. I would rather have the plug and play feature overall so I have to give and take what works for me. Overall I like this one the best so far.

Worth the money
Installation: very easy. Takes about 15-20 minutes if ypu take your time and want it to look sleek without the cable showing.
Video quality: amazing for the price range it is very good. The most impressive part is the night vision quality. It is extremely clear tobthe point where license plates are readable.
Compatibilty: for the first 2-3 weeks the gps was not picking up my mph, it just told me my mph for the firat 2-3 minutes of my drive and then would just say 0mph. It is now working fine. Only down side is I have a Galaxy s20+ and its not compatible with the app so some of the funtions do not work. Like I cant put phone on landscape mode while it is recording or the app closes.
Overall it is great for the price and am glad the mph ia now working. Since driving a sporta car, always have a problem getting the police’s attention for “speeding” but with the dashcam it is now easy to get the tickets dismissed… that is of coarse if im driving the speed limit at that time lol
