After many years of using a manual and not wanting an electric toothbrush ~ gave in and bought one on dentist recommendation ~ great product and teeth never felt cleaner. Easy to charge, powerful brush and great asset to clean teeth
Adds polish
I liked the option to avoid connectivity, weight, and balance, and it’s reasonably quiet.
Essentially, it enhances the cleaning experience and reaches awkward places that manual brushing struggles with.
The charge lasts at least 14 days, and the battery warning is a useful feature that allows at least 3 days more use.
Running costs are worth noting when choosing, as heads are where the money is.
Good at the reduced price, but who pays £200 for a brush??
The one it replaced had a display showing brushing time (and the time of day when not brushing). This one does not talk to the old display, which is annoying and one has to use an app on a mobile.
My main issue with both brushes is that there seems to be no way of switching between users so that the saved data cannot be split between his and hers (or his and his etc). Perhaps with the app on two phones it will do that, but it is not evident.
European instead of UK charger as the title states
I wanted to “Contact the seller”, but this option is not available for this item for some reason, so I have left 4 out of 5 stars.
My attempt to contact the seller is because the charger is European instead of UK as the title states.
The battery appears fully charged (three bars) so luckily I can use the brush today and tomorrow.
If it was not, I would have waited until the weekend when I can go to a local supermarket or shop in order to buy an European to UK plug adapter and charge the brush.
The item’s title description should have stated clearly that an adapter will need to be bought separately by the customer for charging.
Best on the marke
Was advised by a member of the family to buy this toothbrush as all his family use one. Bought ot for my son then again for my husband and myself when I need a new one. As good as mine if not better and it was twice the price.

We had an electric toothbrush each, both Oral B, but old. This one looks nice, and the travel case is handy too.
We bought this when it was on a special price and now both use it.
He has his toothbrush head, and I have mine. Colour bands on heads so no mistakes.
The timer is useful, and so is the ability to change the pressure from normal to 3 other possibilities. The different heads provided are available for use with the changes in pressure, if you want to use them.
Battery life is about a week for us as we both use it twice a day.
All in all, I would recommend this toothbrush, indeed, I have done.
Excellent quality for the price
I needed a new replacement for my old electric toothbrush which was losing charge easily. This one is great, really powerful. I like it came with a hygienic carry box for travelling and 3 spare heads. My partner loved it too so I bought him one too.
Mixed view
Love how it cleans and report from dentist back’s up result of using the brush. Was looking forward to seeing the tracker but disappointed that it only tracks when you go into app and press start. Even though bluetooth set up on brush, if you don’t open the app it doesn’t link or record the brushing.
Excellent at cleaning teeth very please in that respect with multiple settings and made the family teeth feel
“squeeky” clean.
Works with an App on your mobile which is my only gripe — who wants to take a phone into the toilet potential disaster written all over it .

This model replaced the Braun bottom of the range model. It seems much faster and stronger. God knows why there’s an App to download for it!! Nice case for when travelling.
OK - Amazon Repair Service Exceptional
Yes its a good toothbrush. But after a few days the “hesitation after 30 seconds” stopped working. I tried several times to get Oral B to fix it. I had a few sessions/emails with them – they called me a few times. FINALLY I sent it to the AMAZON repair centre and got a new one back a few days later.
Wrong plug
Item seems ok, the only thing so far is a EU plug sent with item, even though it’s says type GB which I assume is for Great Britain. Item ordered from Amazon to delivery in Ireland. So had to buy 3pin plug adapter to charge the brush. It’s a small thing but still disappointing. Tried to contact customer service, it’s nearly impossible to get through in writing. Only phone calls.

However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The accompanying app, while fun at first, feels a bit trivial in the long run. It’s more of a novelty than a necessity. I find that I don’t use it as often as I thought I would.
Another small issue is the battery life, which has shortened slightly since I purchased the toothbrush. While it’s not a significant problem, it does mean I need to charge it a bit more frequently. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning.

I brought this, as I have had my older brush for a long time and I noticed the older one takes ages to charge. This brush charged very quickly and appeared to clean at twice the speed of the older brush. I love the travel case, very useful and my old style brush heads fit this new model (so I have a spare toothbrush). Same charger as the old version. Shame there isn’t a case for the charger, but I can confirm that it easily did 2 weeks of cleaning on holiday.
Did not connect bluetooth, as I am not bothered by this. Agree with other reviews about the bright light at the top. Not really necessary for me, as I have a light on when I clean my teeth.
Can register the brush on Oral B website for guarentee, but need to print off receipt in addition to certificate of warranty. As my last brush has been working for 7 years and is still working (albeit slow to charge), I am hoping this will last beyond the 3 year guarentee.
Teeth felt cleaner using this on due to more powerful cleaning speed.
Not as light as my previous sonic toothbrush, not easy for my hurting wrists. Very loud too. Doesn’t stop after 2 minutes, has to be manually turned off. Good pressure sensor.

I got this because my previous brush decided to stop charging.
It was a good upgrade. They have finally incorporated linear drive technology, so you don’t get vibration speed reduction when the battery is low.
I like the battery charger indicator, it’s good to know when you are getting closer to needing a charge, so you can charge it up before going away for short trips without needing to take the charging stand.
I’ve only had it two weeks so can’t tell how long before it runs out of battery, should be at least another two weeks I think.
The only thing I don’t like is the annoying bright light at the top of the handle. Did they think people were going to brush their teeth in the dark? It’s unnecessary, especially when I brush my teeth with my mouth closed so toothpaste doesn’t splash everywhere.
I don’t use the Bluetooth functional, it’s pointless.
As I mentioned in the title, I think this toothbrush is very thorough in cleaning, so thumbs up from me.

I have always used Oral B products
I have always used Oral B electric toothbrushes and you can feel and see the difference.
I have used Oral-B electric toothbrushes for 30+ years, and this is the best I have had, so far! The others have all been good, but this one is better by far.
The diameter of the body of this toothbrush seems to be slightly larger than my old Oral-B toothbrush, but I see this as a benefit, as it suits my hand better, and I find it is easier to hold.
The highest speed mode, (which I think they refer to as ‘ultrasonic’), is undoubtedly the best mode for me, as I feel that it does give a very effective clean to the ancient nosh nibblers!
The whitening mode did not make any obvious change to the enamel colour, of the old choppers, but I suppose this depends on the toothpaste used, (I don’t use a whitening toothpaste), and the natural basic colour of your teeth
I did try the Bluetooth app, but for people in their advanced years like me, it is just a gimmick that I will not bother with – good for children though, as it will be helpful in showing them if they are brushing correctly, and not missing any places!
This is the best Oral-B electric toothbrush I have ever used – if you’re looking for a new one, buy this!
The toothbrush is ok the features are unnecessary but a nice touch if that’s what your looking for. The toothbrush itself just feels the same as a 30 one. Definitely do not pay over 50 for this..
The toothbrush itself is great, my teeth feel lovely and clean after using, I like the sensor that tells me when I press too hard and the battery life is much better than my previous toothbrush. However, I’ve still not been able to connect the toothbrush to the app. I’ve followed all guidance on the app and website, and it still won’t work, so that’s not ideal.
Comes with a 2 pin plug so unless you have one you will need an adapter to charge it using a standard 3 pin UK plug.
Still after I think 2/3 years this brush is still going strong. I wouldn’t go back to a manual one after owning this. The 30 second brush reminding you to switch then a final 2 minute one to let you know your done is really helpful too!
Don’t bother with the Bluetooth though, more of a gimmick. No need really, brush your teeth and go!
I’ve had this toothbrush now for just under a year. When I first brought it, it worked amazing. After 4 months though I noticed a big drop off in the battery performance, so much so that I couldn’t take it away on a 2 day trip without it losing power after the first day, which is kind of annoying. Would be nice to have a battery that could last 2-3 days without a charge. Other than that it’s a great toothbrush
A lovely, smooth-grip electric toothbrush from a well-known brand at a cheap price, 83 when I got it. After years of my dentist recommending Oral-B electric toothbrushes to me, I finally got one for my birthday, and I have to say it lives up to its reputation. It has every feature imaginable, including 5 brushing modes, an intelligent pressure sensor I never knew I needed, customisable light ring colours with the app, and brushing advice from the AI. It has renewed my excitement for brushing again and has made my teeth much whiter and sparkly over the past 2 months.
Pros:
Everything is fully waterproof as expected. I have only tried using the 3D White brush head so far, but it feels amazing. I mainly use the regular mode for a general clean then the massage mode for gums. The sensitive mode is good for days when your teeth feel a little sore, and the power+ modes and the whitening modes are good for when your teeth need a little extra shine. The pressure sensor is a rather innovative feature that prevents me from brushing too hard and my gums from bleeding. It still allows adequate strength to be applied, because when I went back to using a manual toothbrush, it feels so weak! The AI in the app analyses which areas of your teeth you should focus on more, even though I don’t really use this. You can customise the light flashing intervals and the vibration intervals using the app, including the colour of the ring light itself!
Cons:
The handy carry case is good for travel, but feels just a tad cheap and plastic. It only has space for 2 brush heads so I can’t fit the third one in. The app is just too gimmicky, even for a tech-savvy person like me. I don’t bring my phone into the bathroom with me, let alone in the mornings and evenings when I most need to be screen-free. Bluetooth connectivity has a range of around 1 metre, so quite poor. It often fails to record my brushing sessions so I can’t earn “medals” for consistent brushing. However, the app isn’t required for the brush to work. Furthermore, the battery life is advertised as 2 weeks+. This is not true, mine only lasts around 8 days on a full charge while brushing twice a day at 2 minutes each. It can be charged overnight for 6-8 hours to get to 100%.
