Works well but can bruise your skin if not careful

I love using epilators. They are the best at hair removal, once you get accustomed to it. Great speeds x3, more tweezers than others I’ve used. Not as painful when used in the bath & pores are open. Would recommend.

This replaced an older Braun silkepil and I have to admit the double heads make light work of epilating. Being able to use in the shower also makes it more comfortable. Very pleased.

A year ago I bought a Braun silk epil 9 to replace an older Braun, but I wasn’t happy with the silk epil 9. It was cutting the hair instead of pulling it so it was leaving my legs stubbly. I read reviews of this Panasonic one and noted someone else said it was better than their old Braun so I thought I would give this a try. I was so impressed, I did my legs and the hair was quite short but it managed it with ease and I now have smooth legs instead of stubbly. I also did my underarms and bikini line too without any trouble. When doing these 2 areas I started off with the sensitive cap but I didn’t think that was good so I switched to the one I used for legs, this might have suited me better than the sensitive cap cos I’ve been epilating for years. Overall very impressed with this epilator.

I really like this product, the handle isn’t chunky, like the old one that I had. Works a lot better.

I’ve been using epilators for 15 years. This is the best yet. Haven’t tried the other tools yet. I get no pain at all.

I’ve owned a waxing business for a little over 3 years now & was having my hair removal done free of charge as often as I wanted – No need for shavers/epilators ect. Since making the decision to close my business I wanted to find an affordable option & decided on this epilator…. BEST PURCHASE this year! I’m so pleased with the results, It’s the perfect tool for use in between salon visits!! EVERYYYYY woman should have this specific one! Can’t recommend enough

Every once in a while you buy something and think wow why didn’t I buy this sooner, this is one of those great buys. This without doubt performs well and pretty much catches all the hair on legs, under arms. It has other attachments but frankly you really only need two. Great that it has 3 speed settings, a light, cordless, use in the shower, painless, not like the first epilators on the market which was so painful. Three weeks after use my hair is only just coming through so it proves it takes it out from the root and not just the hair on top. I love it and highly recommend it 100%. Just remember you don’t need all the attachments but that’s my personal opinion.

looking for a new shaver as i found the battery powered one i have was contantly lacking power and didn’t realise i’d picked n epilator. really good quality item with quick enough charge between uses. think it will take me a couple of tries to get used to the way an epilator works but with the options of heads its great little set.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAbsolutely excellent epilator. So impressed. I had a epilator by another very well known brand which suddenly stopped working after less than a year. Turns out it was a blessing in disguise, because this epilator is much faster at removing hair and doesn’t hurt like my previous epilator did. So glad I purchased it.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’m an experienced epilator (!) and have used another well known brand epilator for years, which finally gave up the ghost. Decided to try the Panasonic product based on some good feedback here and on price too. Having used it only once so far, I am already very impressed. It is fast, easy and effective. Much better than my previous other-brand epilator, even when that was new. So I could do this chore in half the time. It’s great on all areas. Legs. Underarms. Bikini. It charges on mains quickly too. Am really glad I got it. Will make a huge difference to the weekly pluck!!! Would definitely recommend.

It replaced an older model by Braun. The reason I went for this one is for the extra width/tweezers which make doing my legs take less than half the time it used to. Worked really well – nice flexi head and love that it’s battery operated. Not sure what happens when the battery begins to fail but for now, I’m really impressed. Also wasn’t sure it can be used when plugged in so hopefully the battery would last for both legs!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExtremely effective epilator. Easy to hold and guide and catches even very short hairs. I have only used it dry so cannot comment on its use when wet.
After missing two salon visits it has paid for itself. A word of caution though, you must be very careful when going over areas where the skin is lose as it can be very painful if it grabs the skin.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersMy wife is always saving her legs and has always liked the idea of doing it a bit less. So when this came up for review I thought She would be over the moon. It turns out these devices are not welcomed by all who try them out. She gave it a go in the shower as it is water proof, and I think She managed about 5cm before the pain was getting unbearable. So I said it can not that bad, She had given birth so surely this should be a walk in the park for her. Seems as I’ll never be able to share that pain with my beautiful wife, I decided to share some of this experience and see what all the fuss was about. So got in the shower ready to try out this device. It’s a good looking ergonomic design and the head on it is quite wide. I fired it up which is done by the well designed switch in the front and applied the head to the lower part of my leg. SWEEET Giant shredders from hell!!! it instantly grabbed my hairs and yanked them out without mercy. I was hopping around the shower in agony rubbing my leg which was now bleeding I might add!!! How I didn’t fall over in the shower and do myself a miss justice I’ll never know. OK so now I know what pain threshold my beautiful wife has. There was absolutely no way I’d volunteer to do that again. I think maybe if you numbed your legs in ice first or something it may help with the pain a little, but to be honest if your after one of these you’ll have to have been used to having your hairs ripped out first, so that you can bare the pain!
Well done to all those brave souls out there that have no issues with these devices I tip my hat to you. But I will not be going near this machine again. As far as epilators go I’m sure this is one of the better devices out there. You get 7 heads for it for different parts of your buddy and skin treatments. It’s fully rechargeable and I’m sure will last a long time. If my wife dares to try this again I’ll update this review with part 2 of the saga but there’s no plans for that just yet.

Panasonic ES-EL8C is one epilator that will cover big range of care needs.
This epilator comes with full range of hair removal and skin care attachments from standard hair removal to ultrasonic brush for final touch. All of them seem that are made pretty good, durable and will last for long time.
Epilator itself operates a lot smoother and quieter than others I have seen and you can choose between two speeds as well. If you are used to removing hairs this way It will not be an issue, but if you’re not you will need to get used to it and at first it will feel irritating and slightly painful. However, it is made so well and with precision that it leaves your skin silky smooth.
Everything comes nicely packaged with clear instructions to follow, everything is easy to clean and it can be used wet or dry and it glides and removes hair better while skin is slightly wet which will kill the pain slightly.
At the time of ordering, model with less attachments was more expensive which was confusing but at the time of writing I can see the price has been corrected and I believe it is worth the money for any lady to take a good care of her skin and remove unwanted hair and make her man happy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFirst time use of an epilator! That was an interesting experience, which seemed to rest quite a bit on having some dexterity and a decent pain threshold – but I imagine both are likely to improve with time and practice.

The epilator appears to be of good quality, with smooth curves for an easy grip and a useful extra wide head that allows for a better reach. It also comes with different attachments to try out for comfort, such as an exfoliation head and an underarm guard (the exfoliation head, for instance, can be used beforehand to soften and prepare the skin, which it does fairly well). As a sidenote, I much prefer the T shape of this epilator compared to others I’ve seen.

While it might take some getting used to, the device itself performs well – better so far on wet skin, and on leg hair as opposed to underarm hair (which it somewhat struggled to pick up). I think for those who have never used an epilator before it would be wise to leave more sensitive areas for later. Also, it would definitely be best to follow the guidelines and use the epilator on short hair as opposed to long hair for better results as well as less pain.

Overall, this made for a decent experience on short leg hair in the shower! I would recommend that other newcomers try it out in a similar setting to be able to assess their tolerance for this sort of thing – but the Panasonic ES-EL8C epilator is probably a good choice for a first time use (and generally a well made instrument).

    Most Bearable on Wet Ski

An Epilator that is certainly worth the asking price, my partner thinks this is absolutely fantastic and won’t use anything else going forward.

Her skin, without getting weird about it, is very smooth now almost too smooth as I’m kinda jealous!

It’s a definite premium product, I don’t see this thing not being used anytime soon.

If this is being purchased as a gift it comes as a very nice retail box that would be perfect to wrap up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s been a long time since I last used an epilator; he one I had, had an attachment which you put in the freezer beforehand and its supposed to numb the skin. I didn’t find the epilator worked that well, it didnt hurt but it also didnt remove much hair!
This one is great, yes it stings but its like having loads of tweezers pulling the hairs out of your legs. So actually, not that bad (also probably helps that I have a condition that numbs my senses anyway!)
It comes with 7 attachments (one is already on), a small fabric bag, and has three different speed settings.

Panasonic make great products and this is no exception. Charges easily and very ergonomic to hold. The attachments include a brush head for cleaning and exfoliating. The epilator heads work great in the different body areas they are designed for without skin irritation. Recommended
