Great produc
Perfect for ears nose and side burn trimming. Keeps my eyebrows under control and good for tidying hairs on back of neck. Attachments really good. Very happy with the product.
If, like myself, you’re of an age where the hair from your head seems to have decided to invert, travel downwards and sprout out of your eyebrows, nose and ears, then look no further than this trimmer!
No long review needed – the trimmer feels good to hold, is extremely simple to use and purges the unwanted growth quickly and closely.
The last (non Phillips) trimmer I bought trying to save a few pounds, blunted almost immediately and was a false economy.
Hoping this one lasts as long as my old Phillips one, which was a faithful veteran of many years service.
Bought this after a disaster with a Remington one and on the back of having had a previous Philips nose trimmer. Overall it does the job but it does not get anywhere near as close as my previous Philips (it is still on Amazon but at over 40 quid!!!). There are small pointed guards protecting the blades from getting too close but I’m not sure why they are there. In all the time I had my previous Philips, I never once knicked myself with it. Anyway, build is very good and feels like it will last. It is very easy to use and the battery compartment is easy to access. Cleaning is easy, just run it under a tap once used and your good to go next time. The unit makes a typical low buzz sound but I don’t think it is too loud however some may I feel.
I would definitely recommend this over the Remington one. (Sorry Remington) It does the job well and doesn’t catch or fall apart when you use it.
Not the best design for its purpose.
Have used this a few times now and its cutter doesn’t seem to get in to the nooks and crannies that you would want it to. Good quality item, but lacks a bit due to its cutter design.

I bought and used in the past a Philips Nosetrimmer model NT1700. It was always hopeless and I find it hard to understand why it can still be bought on Amazon. A friend suggested I try the Philips model NT3650 and I was very reluctant but decided to try. It is a different design and can easily be inserted, if that is the correct word to use, into the nasal passage. I have to say the difference is remarkable. The NT3650 works a wonder and really does the job all the time.
After setting a terrible example of scissor safety for my children i decided it was time to mechanicaly intervene with my body attempting to allow me to know the wind direction from my nosehair alone. I wouldn’t turn your nose up at this if it is the full price, it is well worth the money, i however got it on a deal for a price not to be sniffed at.
Oh boy, where do I even start with this nose trimmer? It’s like the superhero of personal grooming, swooping in to save the day with its tiny, spinning blades of justice. If I had to give it a superhero name, it would be “Nose-feratu — The Nosy Barber.”
First off, let’s talk about its design. It’s sleek, it’s compact, and it looks like it could easily pass for a miniature spaceship. I half expected it to take off and explore the great unknown of my nostrils. And let me tell you, it sure felt like an intergalactic adventure every time I used it.
The sound it makes is a cross between a determined mosquito and a miniature chainsaw trying its best not to wake up the entire neighborhood. I had the sudden urge to wear safety goggles just in case my nose trimmer decided to go rogue and launch nose hairs into orbit. Safety first, right?
Now, the real question is: does it do the job? Well, let’s just say it’s like a gardener meticulously trimming a bonsai tree. Precision is key, my friends. It snips away those unruly nose hairs with the delicacy of a brain surgeon, leaving you wondering if you just had a spa day for your nostrils.
But beware, for with great power comes great responsibility. If you get too carried away, you might just end up looking like you have a case of reverse male pattern baldness — just a bare patch of skin where a once glorious nose hair used to reside. Not the fashion statement you were going for, I assume.

My previous trimmer packed up after several years of service so I was due a replacement.
The product arrived swiftly and has been put to use. It comes complete with a little carry bag that comes in handy for when you are not using it and the multiple cutting attachments are much appreciated for when it comes to keeping eyebrows nice and neat.
Inexpensive and built well I think it should last longer than the previous product that I owned.
Nose trimme
I’ve ordered many nose trimmers on the past and this is probably the best one. A bit tickly in the nose and takes a bit of time to do it. Works a treat on the eyebrows. Comes in a nice carry bag
I like this trimmer previous trimmer gave up. It is light weight and does a nice job. The attachments work fine so far this was bought as a deal and seems really well built for the money. My only complaint is the carrying pouch although a nice touch it is really cheap not going to last too long. Over all happy with the purchase
Stops those pesky nostril hairs protruding
Nostril hairs are so unsightly, this is a great tool for chopping them back. The satisfying rattle and clatter as I poke it up now nose and cut those nostril hairs. Try it.
ideal trimme
Trimmed nasal ear and eyebrows with ease, no pulling very easy to use, best I have bought. The cutter seems better designed than the rotary type ones and certainly works better.
I like just about most of it only thing I get a little annoyed with is the nasal cutting isn’t the best but I later was pointed out I still had the eyebrow number on it so took it off and it got it fixed to my red neck so I can’t take any points off or bad mouth it for something stupid as forgetting the brow trimmer guard was still on battery’s fine I’ve not had to change it and I got the set last year so good value for money
Works Well
I’m glad I bought this – and I really can’t understand all of the negative reviews about the trimmer! I can only assume that people aren’t using it properly.
It is actually much better than the Wahl rotary trimmer that I used to use, gets rid of all of my unwanted nasal hair – and I haven’t had any of the little ‘nicks’ that I used to get inside my nostrils.
I no longer have the nasal tickles keeping me awake at night. Thanks, Philips 🙂
It’s a good bit of kit for everyday use and travelling. Basically basic but gets the job done. I use it mainly for my brows because nobody wants to look like Jim’s dad, right?!
Battery life is good as its powered by a standard AA battery which is included. 2 length clips also included in case you like your brows a little longer. The days of it lookin like a spider is trying to escape outa my nose are also past me thanks to this. It makes light work of any nose hair thats out staying its welcome. Luckily I’m not at the age of having ear hair problems, but wouldn’t think twice about sticking this in the lug holes if they needed a bit of maintenance.

I purchased as my old style Philips nose, ear and eyebrow trimmer (the NT1150 style) was knocked from the bathroom cabinet and landed nose, blade side down, breaking the mechanism.
In comparison the series 3000 (NT3650) is in some ways an improvement yet in other it is not so good.
The motor on the NT3650 does not seem to struggle and the blade need to be cleaned after doing each nostril. On the NT1150 I would have to use the supplied brush to clear the blade during use or the motor would struggle.
The NT3650 does not provide as close a cut as the NT1150. Which is an issue if you want to trim the hairs on the columella (the bit in between the nostrils), as to stop them being visible you need a close trim. The attachments that come with the NT3650 make it more versatile than my old NT1150 (which at the time did not have a version with attachments). Although I personally have not used them and am unlikely to do so. So cannot comment on their effectiveness
Design and build quality is what you would expect from Philips (however not always what you get from Philips products, as you will see in some of my other reviews).
Overall they are a good set of trimmer.
