CALIBRATE. CONTROL. CONQUER.
Razer Huntsman V2 Analog
Enter a higher dimension of control with the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog—our first analog optical gaming keyboard. Armed with every feature you’d expect from a top-of-the-line design, you’ll want for nothing in your pursuit of victory.

Doubleshot PBT Keycaps – Sturdy, Textured Finish
Harder and more durable than ABS, these tough keycaps won’t wear down to a shiny finish and have labels which will never fade thanks to their doubleshot molding process.

Razer Chroma RGB – Per-Key Lighting and Underglow
With 16.8 million colors and a suite of effects, sync its keys and underglow with the rest of your battlestation, and enjoy greater immersion as it dynamically reacts with over 150 integrated games.

Magnetic Plush Leatherette Wrist Rest
Featuring Razer Chroma RGB underglow, the soft, cushioned wrist support magnetically snaps to the keyboard to relieve pressure on your wrists, so you feel less fatigued when gaming over long periods.

Multi-Function Digital Dial and 4 Media Keys
Configure them to pause, play, skip and tweak everything from brightness to volume—the ultimate convenience as you enjoy your entertainment.

USB 3.0 Passthrough
Instead of reaching over to your rig to plug in a device, you can connect it conveniently to your PC via a USB port in the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog.

A NEW DIMENSION OF CONTROL
Razer Analog Optical Switch
With the ability to measure the exact amount of light that goes through the switch stem, Razer Analog Optical Switches can detect how far a key is pressed instead of being restricted to a traditional binary input.

Adjustable Actuation – Choose How You Play
With an actuation range of 1.5 to 3.6 mm, Razer Analog Optical Switches can be adjusted via Razer Synapse to meet your preference—offering different kinds of benefits at every height.

Analog Input – Finer Movement Control
If you’ve ever used an analog thumbstick, you’ll know how intuitive and nuanced in-game movement feels —the more the stick is pushed, the faster you go or steeper the turn, and vice versa.

Dual-Step Actuation – Streamline Your Actions
Razer Analog Optical Switches can register two actions in one keypress, cutting down on the number of inputs you need to make so that your precision is cleaner and quicker.

Great Keyboard
A really nice keyboard that feels great to use and has a satisfying clicky keys. Requires Razer Synapse to always be open to use your custom lighting profiles which is a bit inconvenient if you don’t want extra software running in the background.
Went after this keyboard after getting the Blackwidow with the green switch, that one was good but made my wife really mad about the noise then went into a mechanical Keyboard with the same key/size experience but super silent.
This one here is more silent than my other membranes too, very good experience I was just expecting the product to have a unpluggable wire like the Hunstman V2 Mini does but, that’s fine.
Really nice
Love it. It looks good, led’s are nice and bright but can customise it in the app anyway, could be too loud for some people but I like keyboards loud. Really good quality. Would highly recommend.
Great Keyboard
Very good keyboard, delighted I spent the bit extra for this model
All you need from a keyboard
Nice , quiet and versatile has all the options you need from a gaming keyboard plus good RGB setting, has a good magnetic wrist support cushion, good size and easy to clean, had a more expensive keyboard but wasn’t as pleased as this one
Great little keyboard
This is a great little keyboard, I had a ten keyless keyboard for years and after having an accident with it I decided to downsize again as I pretty much only use my pc for gaming. The huntsman mini is not perfect – if you’re fussy about the sound of the keyboard the rattles will annoy you but can be remedied if you’re willing to do a few simple mods. For me it’s fine, keys are responsive, lighting is bright enough without being distracting and easy to customise and the typing experience is good
Fantastic Keyboard
I’ve been through a fair selection of keyboards in the last few years due to genuinely enjoying different types of Keyboards.
This edition of Huntsman is fantastic, the Red switches feels great. Ergonomics also feel great, a nice amount of tilt with the legs fully extended under the keyboard.
The keyboard is quiet compared to some Red Switch Keyboards, the foam definitely does the job.
All in all, a lovely, spacious option for users looking to get rid of their Numpad whilst keeping a quality keyboard. I picked this up on discount but I would have paid more because this is now, my favorite option!
This keyboard looks and feels heavenly. It’s quite heavy and has a full grained metal plate (I thought it was plastic from the images, but it’s not). The PBT keycaps are textured and sturdy. The linear switches feel lovely and dampened which reduces typing noise considerably (though makes them feel somewhat heavier which I don’t mind). The stabilisers on large keys do not rattle and stay firm when pressing across the width of the key. Very happy from a keyboard lover.
Keyboard is nice to use, a little loud but feels nice.
Lighting is very good, the wrist rest is a little dim compared, but doesn’t bother me, I’m not looking at it.
Software like with all gaming devices is the only let down, ability to like profiles and lighting to games is fiddly and missing some features that have been brought up on forums for ages but not yet fixed.
Anologue feature is ok, not the game changer I thought it would be but works ok!
Great for gaming - super responsive
Order arrived on time and package was intact and intuitive. Keyboard comes pre-assembled and ready to use right out of the box. The keycaps are OEM profile and quite rough – brightness from RGB is limited (would recommend switching keycaps). The switches themselves are excellent, though a bit wobbly.
The keyboard is quite quiet and is very responsive with the razer optical switches. (I got the red version)
This is great for gaming, but actuations feel a little bit light and mushy for typing.
Would recommend if you are a avid gamer.
Ok for a 60%
Loses stars because synapse software is not intuitive enough and stops the inbuilt RGB modes from working. Cortex that’s bundled with synapse needs admin rights and UAC nags when you’re staying safe and not using admin as your daily. Once software removed its OK but obviously has fewer features because of it.
I have barely used the analog feature, there are so many things i could experiment with. But honestly, it’s more of a gimmick if you’re not very into it. I suggest buying a controller if you want more precise controls because it’s more of a chore to program the buttons to work a certain way.
As a keyboard, very good. Probably the best keyboard i have owned so far, but the most expensive keyboard i’ve purchased too.
I’ve been using this keyboard for over two months so far, and I’m very happy with it. I didn’t appreciate how good it was until I temporarily had to use a cheap rubber dome keyboard again. Not only was the rubber dome keyboard much less comfortable, I also found myself making more typing errors. The tactile feedback of the clicky Razer Huntsman V2 really makes a difference. I have also used a different mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches, and I didn’t like it as much. I personally recommend clicky switches if the noise isn’t a problem.
The Huntsman V2 comes with ugly flickering PWMed RGB lighting enabled by default. I’m using it on Linux, and it’s supported by OpenRazer, which can turn the RGB off. The indicator LEDs also have PWM flicker, but I don’t personally use them (I rebind scrolllock, and use “setxkbmap -option numpad:mac” with Xorg to force numlock on even with the indicator light turned off) so I won’t dock any stars for that.
a bit messy but overall good
it’s a great keyboard lots of customisation and quality feeling. The one thing that is left to admire is maybe some cable management slots on the board as you can get a bit tangled from the amount of cable that’s give
it is surprised to me that several ten proud keyboard quality is same as other cheaper one.
The “enter” key’s light is not even.
Or my expectation is too high.
Remark : other functions are work well, just outlook issue.
I love this keyboard, more then a person should love a keyboard I guess, but it’s not without it’s negatives.
I find the space bar rattles a little too much, and the sound it makes is a little uneven with the rest of the keys. The key caps are also a little uneven with the lighting, some letters, and dull patches, for example the enter key and the numeric keys.
Also the function keys aren’t fully lit, with no light emanating from the play/volume symbols etc which i find a little annoying, maybe it’s just me but at this price point I don’t think these should have been impossible challenges.
All things considered though the positives far out way the negatives, and this keyboard is my favourite thing at the moment for sure.
There is a extra G where the L should be. Other than that good keyboard
The extra G key where the L should be is kinda annoying as I haven’t got a response from razer. Maybe a bit more quality control when your selling a 200 keyboard to someone in future. Shocking
It’s good bu
It’s good but I sold it for a custom keeb
I purchased this keyboard as I travel often and take my laptop with me for games and work. As someone who’s left handed I rely on razer synapses feature to remap each key so that they are reversed allowing me to play games without having to remap any button, which is why using the keyboard on my laptop is a massive pain.
With this in mind, this keyboard is perfect as it’s tiny, lightweight and has a detachable USB c to a cable allowing me to throw it in my bad without having to leave things out of my packing to make space.
Not having the numpad and arrow keys is something that I personally don’t like as I use them often which is why I keep my blackwidow keyboard on my desk and only use this when I away from said desk.
Overall the razer huntsman mini is a great keyboard for travelling with (or I guess you could use it in your day to day setup provided you take the minimalist aesthetic over practical).
I also paid 70 for the American layout instead the usual 140 for the UK layout which made this choice a no brainer.
Typing on this keyboard feels really satisfying and fun. This keyboard is perfect for me because of how small it is and how silent it is. I don’t really have much space on my desk so I purchased this keyboard and it is the perfect size. It misses keys but does not loose any of its functionality which is really nice to use. I had the razer blackwidow ultimate before this keyboard and that keyboard had razer green switches which was really loud, clicky and annoying. Compared to that this keyboard is really quite and amazing. I can also tell that it’s response time is a lot bette
I tried a few keyboards (including ones much more expensive) before this one, and this is the best.
Brilliant clicky tactile purple opto-mechanical switches mean typing is satisfying and a joy; it makes me want to type more! I much much prefer these to linear switches where you can’t hear and feel the actuation point.
Solid construction. Wrist wrest is lovely quality and magnetic attachment much better than a plastic clip as is seen on other keyboards.
Before this keyboard I ordered the Asus ROG Strix Flare ii animate. This was a tremendous keyboard and the lighting was definitely better, but the Asus software is so terrible it’s hard for me to actually explain in this review. I would go as far as saying its the worst software I’ve ever used, and it means the keyboard was unusable. By contrast the Razer Synapse software is an absolute joy to use and makes using the keyboard really enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this keyboard, especially if you enjoy a tactile switch.
Responsive
I really like this keyboard. I foiund it works well with my typing style and my typing speed as a result has noticably increased. There are lots of cutimisation options fo rthe light ing which is great and the customisation settings are easy to use. Given the combination of lighting options and responsiveness I find this keyboard is great for gmaing as well.
Fantastic gaming keyboard
This is an absolutely fantastic gaming keyboard
Very tactical
Very responsive
RGB is great and configurable via software
A+
Bought to replace my old Blackwiddow and couldn’t be happier. Love how there isn’t any inset key sections any more that only added to collecting dust and grime and made cleaning a pain. The overall feel and quality has just a more pleasant soft texture to it and also massively appreciate the soft wrist rest. As always top quality from Raze
Good gaming keyboard
My son wanted this keyboard for Christmas, and got it. Loves gaming on it, keys the right size, great key response time, loves the colours. As a parent though, the clicking is enough to drive you insane. As the child/person using it for gaming its perfec
Love the sound (quiet sound), magnetic wrist pad is the best. Price is high but I can recommended i
Seems to do the Trick!
My son, recently turned 13, demanded that I buy him this key board for his birthday/Christmas. Having no idea about the product or why it’s a gamers delight when it come to gaming I bought it for him. He was ecstatic when it arrived because of its compactness!! I have to be honest even I was impressed. He had been using it non stop and is extremely happy with it, I hear no complaints. My only grievance is the clicking and clacking noise it produces when he’s in full action. He seems to like that though and since buying a extra big mouse mat it’s helped to make the scraping noise across the desk a little more denser. All in all it’s a good little gaming keyboard.
Feels and sounds great, Looks good too.
So far I’ve really enjoyed this keyboard, it’s clicky and feels responsive, the Razer Chroma studio is easy to use and it was easy to link it up to MSI mystic light. I like the fire effect a lot. The only minor problem I have is that in the day the lighting can be a bit dim, but it may just be that my room gets really bright in the mid-afternoon.
Great, but I'd rather have my 2014 Blackwidow
Overall this is a fantastic keyboard, but compared to my Blackwidow which I rated 5 stars in 2014, I would rather have that brand new again (the 2014 version; I haven’t used a more current Blackwidow to know how it compares).
Quality—Great. I am a little disappointed that this version doesn’t have the underglow, but then I had to remind myself that I don’t care about all these lighting effects; as long as I can see the keys, I’m happy.
Sound—Personally, I’m not too keen on the very “thin” click the keys make. I prefer the ordinary sound mechanical boards make, without any deliberate click effect (i.e., orange keys, previously termed “stealth version”). That said, I’m okay with this lighter, quieter click; it doesn’t drive me insane. Objectively, these purple switches do not sound as full as the green switches do, so for those to whom it is important: you need to decide whether the optical switches are worth it for what they are, or if you’d prefer the ordinary green clicky sound.
Feel—The keyboard does feel high quality. The board is metal and the key caps are PBT. However, aside form the feel of the key caps, I have to say I prefer the feel and dimensions of my old Razer Blackwidow 2014. A point a lot of reviews mentioned was the extra stability the keys have due to the new switch design, but I didn’t notice much of a difference.
Why not 5/5?
(1) The lighting doesn’t go very bright. I think it is due to the key caps. It is perfect for me, but acknowledging that it’s a big deal for some people, it is a point to consider in an objective rating.
(2) The media keys light up underneath, but not the symbol in the middle. It’s clear which key is which by the positioning, but it just stands out as blunder to me. Why not have then lit like the rest of the keys?
(3) The wrist rest is only good for its magnet. It isn’t a nice firm rest, like all the ones I’ve had before. This one has a bit of foam, and captured air to make it feel more squishy. I don’t know what it would take to puncture it; I’m not going to try.
(4) My main gripe is that for some reason, when I put O-rings on the keys, there was no significant difference. On my 2014 Blackwidow, the O-rings reduced the noise noticeably, and reduced the travel distance to bottoming out. That was fantastic. I sought to replicate that with this keyboard, and found that: (A) the only noise reduction O-rings do for this keyboard is get rid of the metallic reverb if you are one who absolutely hammers the keys (I don’t, so no gains there); and (B) rather than reduce the travel distance, bizarrely, O-rings just raise the key cap higher on this keyboard! So typing on this doesn’t feel as good as it did on my Blackwidow which is 8 years older. That is quite a disappointment when you pay more for something newer, more technologically advanced, and supposedly better.
Omitted from the rating reasoning is the software (Razer Synapse), but it does deserve a mention. It is very good, and, in case it helps anyone—a darn sight better than Logitech’s G-Hub (I was using one of their boards for the past year and it simply doesn’t compare).
LOVE THIS !!!
Just buy it!!! I play LoL and it’s great, not loud and the fact that you don’t need press all the way for it to register makes it even bette
Gaming it’s good, typing not so much (V2 Red)
Just a warning for anyone choosing the v2 red switches. Razor have added what feels like rubber underneath the switch so I lose muscle memory of the standard cherry reds. I hope they just make a huntsman with cherry reds and remove the stabilisers per key cap. Solid build quality and looks great otherwise.
Good keyboard, get it on offer.
Good build quality, the dial in the top right is a bit wobbly but it’s not a problem. the whole base is metal so feels great and the wrist rest is very comfortable. it has 3 angles, flat, enclined and one that’s in the middle gives you a good range to pick your preference. The only problem I would say is the price, its really expensive for a keyboard so I would recommend waiting for it to go on sale or for black Friday which is when I picked mine up.
Love it best thing ever bought just wish was pink
Only downfall to this is say is its really noisy for typing. I thought for price the sound moght of been quieter too. Orher than that the rest is positive. Colours, the light feeling of the keyboard no heavy weight pressing keys.
Great keyboard for playing games
Quite loud clicks but i see it as a good thing, i play cod on it and the keys feel great and have great response. The customisable lighting looks great.
Razer Hunstman V2 RZ03-03610300-R3W1
Need a gaming keyboard? Got deep pockets?
This is Razer Huntsman V2 Analog – Premium Gaming Keyboard with Analog Optical Switches (Wrist Rest, Digital Rotary Control, 4 Media Keys, RGB Chroma) UK Layout, Black
The model number is RZ03-03610300-R3W1.
It looks fantastic.
azer is impressive for the build quality
i really like this new keyboard. it comes with keys directly mount on metal plate for easy cleaning. pbt keycap saves me 40euro for replace keycaps as i only like pbt keycaps not build with abs. the detached usbc cable is a bonus design. after plucged in looks like a normal wired keyboard as it has reserved a space for the cable to sit in so even detached cable is not loose at all as compare with nondetached keyboard.
Well made a little clicky but responsive, poor palm rest for the money
Well constructed and sturdy main unit very customisable and responsive, however Audible higher pitched clicky sound can get a little anying over time and substandard palm rest that doesn’t have enough padding doesn’t grip to keyboard strongly and is too high at the wrist base for comfortable use (personally like a triangle slope, not a squared off edge)
Almost perfec
Incredible keyboard but if I were to try and be critical of something the only thing I dislike about this keyboard which is probably a non-issue for most people is the fact that even though all keys light up, the symbols don’t. (@, !, ? %) etc. I don’t see for any reason why they don’t since all other gaming keyboards and laptops do and for the price you pay they should.
Interesting but we had issues
Overall a really good item however we had to reconfigure the keyboard when it arrived the keys didn’t match up with what was appearing on the screen. Also have some problems occasionally with the lights sequencing but it just needs reset occasionally. So really good when it’s set up but with some issues we were luckily able to sort ourselves
Fastest switches
eally good keyboard over all as the rgb is really nice and you can customise it very well the only gripe i have is that the wrist rest is really tall and its not the best for that. it is comfy but as it is as high as the keyboard it is a little uncomfortable
Grandson loves it!
Bought this for my grandsons 13th birthday. I personally do not know much about gaming so had to ask around for advice on what to buy. His face was a delight when he opened his gift so I must have got it right.
Grea
This feels like a solid product, the keys are loud so don’t consider this if you’re going to use it in an office, for myself it works great for games or for typing.
Great, true RGB keyboard
Like all Razer products this is great quality and a huge step above the previous keyboard my son had.
The opt-mechanical keys have a nice but not too loud sound and are very responsive and the RGB lighting, which is customizable via the app, is bright (or not if you don’t want it)
Not a cheap keyboard but honestly all the keyboard you ever need. You can pay more but your only adding bells and whistles which you’ll rarely use.
Haha, gaming keyboard go CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK
This keyboard makes a fantastic first impression, the box has a little gap where you can press the arrow keys to sample the ‘feel’ and hear the ‘CLACK’. This is a noisy keyboard, lets not try and pretend it isn’t – if your nearest and dearest has to put up with you working at home, imagine that plus a really noisy keyboard, just be forewarned!
Anyway, the keyboard is undeniably premium, each key feels precisely perfect, the LED lighting under each key is wonderfully bright and responsive making it great for work, and perfect for gaming!
Does it make me any better at Halo Infinite? Nah, not really – lets be honest. But I do like how some games (such as Halo Infinite) use the Corsair lighting on your keyboard in game, little things like the WASD keys lighing up, flashes of light on respawn, neat things like that. The software is…well its okay, better then ICUE anyway. If you want to play around with the lights, there are loads of options, so have at it.
The Elite version of this keyboard comes with a lovely armrest, I fully recommend this, it feels lovely and connects via a magnetic pin which supplies power to the backlight. Hm, because it rests on a table I can’t really see the light unless I lean back, but knowing its there fills me with gentle detirmination.
The media controls (three buttons and a dial at the top) are neat, I don’t really use them, but they are ‘neat’.
Anyway, in conclusion, if you can get this on a good deal, its a lovely keyboard, a noisy keyboard, a very premium keyboard. Will it make you better at games, nah – but will it make you feel better about your rig, probably yes.
Enjoy
PS – brought during Black Friday, wow 125 down from 199, fantastic! Except now its after Black Friday and its now down to 119, classic…
Prior to this keyboard I was using the Razer Huntsman TE TKL and I love that, so once the 60% hit the market I was keen to try it; although at the time the price was too much for me. Anyway flash forward to now where the price has dropped to 65 so I thought I’d try it out.
First off, you notice how small this thing is, it’s tiny, there’s so much more space on my desk it’s ridiculous. The imprint is so small now that there’s plenty of space for mouse flicks while in game etc… It’s also going to be a lot easier to clean as well.
The red optical switches are superb, they’re silent and fast, they feel smooth in game and have a semi tactile feel. The TE I have has the purple switch which isn’t that loud but compared to this is blaring.
I thought I’d struggle without the F keys but I got used to using the function key pretty quickly. There’s plenty of extra functionality including media keys, brightness, the arrows and loads of others.
Overall I really like this keyboard, it’s now become my main using the TE as a back up
Very responsive keys
The keys are very easy to press and very responsive. They also make a nice clicking sound when typing or gaming. The wrist rest helps make your wrist comfortable so you can game for longer. However the lights on the wrist rest don’t always work on the highest tilt of the keyboard but I personally don’t use it at that height. Overall a very good keyboard that has improved my gameplay.
Perfect for gaming
I have limited desk space for mouse movements and never used much of my full size keyboard because I never had a reason to, so I decided to try a 60% keyboard, I already knew I liked the keyswitchs on this board, and having such a small board has opened up a lot of space on my desk, so if like me you don’t need much of your keyboard then it might be what you are looking for, just bare in mind that many functions are under a second layer accessed by holding down the function key
Amazing keyboard
This keyboard is amazing, love how tactile it is. Great for gaming as very responsive. Great for work, when you press a key you know you have pressed it, thereby reducing keying errors (can’t help with spelling mistakes lol).
This thing is a straight up legend.
I loved every bit of this keyboard. my reasoning for this purchase was so simple, i just wanted a more quiet and smooth-feeling keyboard to replace my clanky crazy one.
As i said, everything about this keyboard is honestly the best (for me) but if there was ONE thing i would’ve asked to change, the spacebar is a TINY bit too loud for the matching of all the other keys but nonetheless, it’s phenomenal, i’m blown away.
Mixed reviews but glad I ignored.
Really like the over all size and the click is nice and not overly loud like cherry blues, my over all typing speed is around the same as cheeky blues, I feel the switches are slightly faster than my cherry blues.
Over all would recommend this, own down side for me is no dedicated arrow keys but that’s what you get with this size.
Another issue is it’s only a Aluminium plate not fully plate.
The keyboard is just High quality, the purple keys are loud but it sounds good!
The keyboard is great, it is very high quality and it feels really sturdy! The keys are very stable appart from the 3 media bittons which have a little play, but even those won’t bother you and you will use them without problems! its nice thqt you can assign buttons for everything, the media butons i use to controll the mic.
One downside is that the symbols on the buttons don’t light up, so i find myself pretty often looking for certain symbols at night.
gaming
The sounds of the clicky switches are amazing. I love how they sound and the latency is actually decent and it’s very very responsive. The keys are placed close so don’t worry about them being far.
Good - Apart from the volume knob
I’ve been using this keyboard for around 6 months now and for the most part am very happy with it. The switches are nice to type on, the chassis is solid and well made and the wrist rest is comfortable.
However, the volume knob has a really annoying issue. Sometimes when you are rolling the volume up it instead goes down, this is particularly noticeable when it reaches 100 and if you roll the wheel up the volume goes down. A keyboard at this price should not have any issues like this, so I think I’m being fairly generous deducting only 1 star.
As a side note when normally only the space bar and enter key have those fiddly hooks under them. On this keyboard for reasons unknown ALL the keys have them. I’m dreading ever removing them to clean the keyboard, which is normally quite an easy task.
Really like the keyboard, the wrist rest, few useful multimedia keys.
Really happy.
Except: they decided to put the shifted characters at the bottom of the key, which is exactly the opposite of every other keyboard in the world.
So when I need to type <, I see it at the bottom of the key and I don't shift, so I get a , instead.
From a keyboard addict :).
Smooth as butter, super quick 1.2 mm actuation (if I remember well), but even that a pleasure to type with it without typos.. (45gr switches optical).
PBT keycaps shinning to early, at least in my copy.
If you lube the switches a bit, add some foam underneath the PCB, some dielectric grease on stabilizers, wow.. this keyboard is pretty super silent and smoooooth… very….
Great for taking with you (lightweight) and decent gaming experience although for gaming I prefer more cherry/mechanical switches. is not a custom keyboard but it has earned a respectable space in my collection :).
very responsive
Really impressed with his keyboard, it’s very compact I had a Logitech Orion spectrum and that’s a massive keyboard, don’t need it that big, the keys are more responsive and feel better, my arms don’t feel so far apart while using this razer keyboard it’s great addition to the start of my razer set up, I have the Lian li pc case and the lighting syncs up nicely with my keyboard just need the mouse and head set to finish off now, thank you
If you're looking for a comfy large gaming keyboard this is it!
Love everything about it, has a really nice leather padded armrest and is just right for what i wanted. Note if your looking for bright LEDs on the keyboard this probably isnt the keyboard for you, You can still seem them but not as good as something like the blackwidow. Love the media volume keys and volume scroll wheel.
All round worth i
Amazing :O
For gaming, this keyboard is amazing. For general productivity it is still amazing. It sounds.. amazing. Great ability to change the on board lighting and add macro binds and keyboard for spam clicking in cookie clicker which is amazing. It also is amazing at response time. Very fast keyboard. My slight downside is the support on some games. This is cause it’s picked up as both a controller (due to analog built in) and a keyboard. So, on games like roblox that don’t necessarily have billion dollar support for every single game – you encounter SMALL issues with it identifying as a controller. I usually just rejoin the game. I hope this review helps!
Amazing
First gaming keyboard i got and it’s probably the best. Super sensitive so you don’t even need to push the keys in to recognise the input as you could just just touch it with the side of the finger tip and it will input that key.
Within a day, I can state that this is the best keyboard I have ever owned and I’ve a drawer full of them, different brands and all pretty expensive. Lovely action on the keys, stunning form factor, not at all bulky for a full size. I really can’t fault it. Also, having had many Razer products over the years I have no idea what people have against the software. I’ve had no problems at all with the software….ok the regular updates used to annoy me, but recently it’s become less frequent. Buy with confidence, o and great wrist rest too…..this might be my keeper to the point I may buy another as a spare…finally!
This is by far one of the best keyboards hands down. Typing feels great, the cushioned rest is comfortable and overall just looks stunning. The typing does not have the same satisfying clicking feel and sound as the first model; however, it has a nice feel with it being softer and smoother. The sound in general is not clicky like most mechanical keyboards but more of a muted click. It is however much more sensitive than the first and other models, as it is pressure sensitive and has a lower activation weight requirement, which allows a joystick option in the razer synapse software option (limited games support)
Amazing keyboard
I thought I’d seen all types of keyboards until I saw this. It’s unique feature is the analogue and configurable actuation points. This means that you can adjust how far down the key will register a press but also you can configure a second activation point, for example you could use the same key for walking while slightly depressed or running when fully depressed.
I was surprised to find that not only does the keyboard have a light strip that goes all the way round, but also the wristpad! Very cool.
It’s a very nice and simple design with none of the stupid gaming flourishes that you get on a lot of devices.
The software isn’t quite perfect and seems to be more complicated than it needs to be.
Personally, I’ve been using a MacBook Pro keyboard for years now and have come to actually really enjoy the short travel of the keys. Coming back to this more standard keyboard it feels like I have to lift my fingers back a long way in order to get to the next key. However, given you can adjust the actuation point this isn’t so much of an issue. I would say there are a few reasons to get this keyboard:
– Its very sleek and understated design. It really looks great without looking over the top.
– Its configurable actuation level and double actuation points – literally a game changer.
– The very decent lighting system that can go pretty bright.
– A generally very well build and satisfying keyboard with a very comfortable wrist rest.
Just be prepared to spend a while learning the software and setting up the keyboard.
Best for its price range
Excellent built quality, highly customisable rgb. The keys aren’t as clicky as my old mechanical keyboard but feel just as responsive. It would be nice it the WASD were textured as it’s a large keyboard. Excellent 5/7
For someone that literally never used any of the other keys anyway, this is a great addition, there’s more space on my desk, all of the keys are compact and neat, they feel absolutely amazing for typing, very responsive and surprisingly not very loud for mechanical keys. The keys you ‘miss out’ on become function macros which I like, it means essentially you have more key inputs within a more concentrated area. The build quality is premium, I like the detachable wire which makes packing it for journeys neater and probably lowers the risk of damaging the wire. The RGB lighting just like on any Razor product is spot on if you’re into that stuff. The software client is very helpful, very easy to use and navigate, has a tonne of features, offers so much customisation, one of the best reasons to go with a razor product. This is an amazing keyboard, I have nothing bad to say about it, 10/10.
Worth every single penny
I tried so mani keyboard from different manifactures and this so far is the best i’ve ever had. The response from the keyboard are fast and precise, it may take a while to get adjust on the typing but once u get confident its amazing
Great gaming keyboard
Great keyboard for gaming. Switches are quiet, but the stabilizers on each key do cause a rattle with each keypress. Actuation point is high, so I sometimes get accidental keypresses. Look out for the ISO layout if you want to use this for typing as well as gaming, unless you’re happy to get used to the ANSI layout (enter key can be hit and miss if you’re used to the bigger two row ISO enter). Compared to other keyboards, this is a little worse value for money, but it’s good compared to the custom keyboard market!
Not a bad keyboard, but there is a metal noise in every key you press
It is a good keyboard. You can control the brightness and color for each key, what is very nice indeed.
The only thing I didn’t like is the noise. Due to the fact this keyboard is made of aluminium (or at least the cover is), there is a weird noise of metal in every key you press, like it is hollow inside….
apart from that, amazing keyboard to work and gaming
Good keyboard but expensive
Keyboard very responsive and nice to type on. Not sure opto mechanical switches are noticeably faster (at least to me) than ruler mechanical switches so I don’t think you need to spend this much to get an equally good keyboard. Had to send the first one back as USB plug failed. Amazon were excellent and sent out a new one straight away. Overall I really like this keyboard but it is very expensive.
First off, what we all came for… the clicky keys, yes, they are very clicky, but moving on to the actual details about how the keyboard will feel in a few months or perhaps years…
The cable – The stock cable is VERY sturdy, can’t fault it one bit, once it clicks in, you wouldn’t even realize it could be detached. This will likely not require a replacement cable anytime soon.
The keys – the keys also can not be faulted in my opinion (or can they). Razer weren’t lying about how they can really increase your timing when it comes to pressing the keys. From my personal experience, the response time is very good and I have even clicked the spacebar by accident by just simply moving my hand across the keyboard, it’s very easy to click these keys by accident I guess is what I’m trying to say…
Size – If you don’t have alot of room on your desk then this is definitely the right keyboard for you, it’s compact, sturdy and great for all the family! (Jokes aside, it’s very small and brilliant for saving space)
The lighting – okay, this isn’t too important but definitely worth noting, from my personal experience, Logitech lighting is better when it comes to keyboards, and this keyboard is no exception. Is the Razer huntsman mini’s lighting bad? No, not at all, it’s actually good, but past Logitech keyboard users could likely spot the difference when it comes to brightness and colour transition smoothness, but will this affect your gaming? Unless you live in a dark cave, I’d say no.
Software – Synapse is the lighting software and is pretty easy to manipulate, good pre set colour cycles for you to pick from and play around with, but for a large and innovative company like razer, I’d like to have seen them allow each individual key to be coloured differently for alot more colour options, but more importantly… uniqueness!
Cortex is another software provided by razer and I love it, it optimizes your games and closes background processes to boost your frames and overall performance. This software also allows you to select if you wish to play for competitive performance or visual quality and will then suggest the settings you should have set, all while conveniently telling you what frame rate you could expect to see after the changes. I use it everytime I launch a game.
My one problem – to many this will not be a problem, but to many other people that want a solid, none wiggly/ rattly space bar… (You know what I mean )… Unfortunately this spacebar does wiggle, shake and rattle like all others. Once again, for a company like razor, I want to see a space bar that doesn’t wiggle and is just STILL and SOLID for a PREMIUM feel as that is what we want.
Overall I’m rating this keyboard 5/5 as functionality is Key (pun intended), but I definitely would like to see the changes I noted such as lighting and complete key solidity implimented.
I hope this was enough to give you your final decision to buy or look elsewhere (maybe Logitech perhaps if you want brighter and more fluid lights).
Thankyou Ladies and Gents.
Best keyboard I've owned
Don’t be scared to pay the high price for this keyboard. If you are serious gamer, you will like it. I’ve upgraded to this keyboard from a low-profile Logitech gaming keyboard which was a good keyboard but this one is better in so many ways.
The actuation of the keys feels great with the textured finish, featured with a true RGB with 16.8 million colours, nice and bright colours and dynamically reacts with the games I play. The pre-sets are nice as well and flow nicely. The aluminium frame construction makes this keyboard a bit heavier in weight, helps to keep it nice and steady on any surface without moving around when play fast and hard. There are some designated media control buttons on the top right corner for pause, play, skip and tweak everything from brightness to volume. Cool additions are a headphone jack on the left and a USB jack next to that.
The arm rest foam is such a great addition, I didn’t expect to even use it, but I started using the keyboard with it and now I feel like I can’t live without it.
I highly recommend this keyboard, it is worth the money!
Superior gaming keyboard!
There’s nothing not to like about this….OK so its expensive but if your reading this then obviously your a pc gamer on the market for a new keyboard and I have to say this ticks all the boxes for me. I’ve never tried a razer keyboard for a prolonged period but now I have I can honestly say that I will definitely spend the money on razor products when the need arises again (this is well made and solid so that won’t be for a while) the keys are responsive without being clacky like cheaper models, im still getting used to the dials but im getting there and detachable padded wrist rest really helps with my hand fatigue after an entire day gaming. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for a comfortable, well made, great looking gaming keyboard, its a top brand so you know it will be good.
There's little doubt that this is a brilliant keyboard
Pros:
Solidly made.
Comfortable to use.
Just the right amount of feedback both touch and audio.
If a disaster happens the switches could be replaced.
Cons:
It’s expensive but you get what you pay for and I doubt I’ll ever need to buy another.
Superb keyboard
So my son was so excited to try keyboard. The keyboard looks stunning when you take it out the
box you can feel its very well build and good quality not a flimsy plastic. The lights looks really
nice. The keys are something else they feel nice and they do not worn easy.It has a 3.0 usb passthrough
for a quick accessibility. The wrist rest its great you don’t feel your hand tyred after a long play.
Its a multi function digital dial making you able to stop start and even adjust the volume.
The keys don’t make much noise you can barely hear them.
Overall its a great keyboard its moving great and amazing for gaming.
I like the ergonomic design of the keyboard and I love how much more room you get from your mouse space. The brightness you can change it from the software. The software is okay but it works fine I have no issues with the software , the brightness is perfect. For gaming is very comfortable playing like CS-GO or Final fantasy 14.I’m very happy with the product .
Super premium gaming keyboard - Comfortable wrist rest - infinitely configurable
This is definitely for the most committed game is that demand the kind of analog response that you can only get from the keyboard of this quality. The configurability of the unit is pretty much endless so you can ensure that it is customised to your exact style of gameplay and key response. It is also extremely comfortable with a built-in wrist rest that ensures even the longest session doesn’t fatigue. I can see you like the simple addition of the USB3 port at the side of the keyboard which is ideal if you want to quickly connect and then memory stick or additional devices.
