This is my second pair of Recoils, I use these almost every day and have washed the neoprene a couple of times.
    I have one wish,
I wear shorts thus the pads get quite smelly from sweat and would like a removable and washable cover on the neoprene.

One other wish is to intergrate the recoil pads into a knee support without the need for straps.
That would make them ultra comfortable.

These kneepads have enabled me to carry out work I have not been able to for some time.
I have tried noumorous other brands however unsucessful in providing me with the support needed to work.

After seven spninal operations and two knee operations I needed a kneepad that would allow me to work on the floor without causing excessive pain.
Finding the Recoil Kneepads have enabled me to carry out work I have not been able to for some time.

A gift for my son, who uses them often. They look as they did the day of purchase.

excellent knee pads, perfect for all day use when tiling floors. You feel the bounce on the knee due to the springs built into the pads. Only issue I have though is the straps are short and it could do with both straps being wide. But can live with this issue as they are fantastic pads

After using kneepads for 30 years I’m hoping these are the best I’ve ever purchased because I’ve now got severe arthritis in my knees and I need all the help I can get.

So after getting bursitis for the second time in a year I needed a set of knee pads for long periods of floor work. I’m not one for wearing ppe and I’m normally in shorts and trainers all year round. I purchased loads of different shapes and price points and found for long periods on the floor these are my favourite. Iv ordered the thigh straps from there main website to try out as well.

If your looking for knee pads, look no further!!

The product is fantastic, very comfy and the support levels are like nothing else I’ve ever used before.

After going through countless kneepads and reviews “we are best!” etc so on.

I can tell you now, you buy this product and you wont look back, your just ask yourself why didn’t I get them before!!

The customer service / after care was sublime. Vicky was extremely quick to respond to emails.

To sum it very well thought out product, designed by people who have been around or in the trade them self.

Would 100% come back in the future!!!!

They are fantastic, very comfortable, only downside is they are too big to carry around.

Overall they are ok. I can’t wear them when I wear shorts, a bit big and bulky but once your on your knees they give a good level Of protection.
    Quite expensive.

I suffer from a bad knee and I attended a trade show early this year and this was on show as I was on the market for a decent knee pad i had the demonstration with the inventor and loved it very much so this is what inspired me to get it.

After being in a motorcycle accident when I was 18 and being an electrician for the past 5 years had a lot of struggle finding knee pads that help with the pains I get when kneeling. I must admit at first I was a bit skeptical due to the price but the amount of pain free work I’m able to do now is well worth praying the price if you have trouble kneeling for long periods of time

I bought these instead of the normal cheaper ones as I’m a floorlayer and on my knees all day there pretty comfortable but the velcro straps at the top are starting to give after only three weeks.would have been nice to get spares in with the price

Bought these for a renovation project that requires a fair bit of time kneeling on the floor and so far they have been fantastic. The double straps keep them comfortably in place both when both kneeling and walking. Comparing these to traditional kneepads, they feel much more stable and secure due to the flat surface but allow for easy manoeuvring due to the springs behind the pads. Since they arrived I’ve been able to get on with the job without any aches or pains, absolutely worth every penny!

Good pads, probably the best I’ve used in 25 years laying floors, the only down side is that the Velcro straps have started to wear out and come undone while working which is frustrating, and are a bit uncomfortable behind the my legs, at the price they are I would expect the design of the straps to be as good quality as the pad itself, which is a shame

I am a floor tiler and found the pads a very comfortable fit and my knees were ache and pain free after being on them all day. They are also easy to move around on too. Cons: the straps were too thin and dug into the back of my legs after a few hours and the pads slipped down my legs when I walked

I’d like to be able to write more but I had the knee pads a week and they got stolen on a job I was working on. So in the short time I had them they were ok I suppose

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my partner after he had mentioned needing knee support for work. I got them discounted in the Black Friday sale and although they were expensive compared to other basic knee pads you are paying for the technology within the equipment. My partner is very happy!

These knee pads are amazing. the minute i put them on and kneeled down i knew they would be a big benefit to my aging knees. Very comfortable to wear and keeps you a bit higher off the ground which is cool. I would definitely recommend theses kneepads.

I initially found the kneepads weird to start with however after a couple of days I got used to them. I wore them yesterday for about 4-5 hours straight painting skirting boards and my knees didn’t feel a thing. Usually in agony with other knee pads (and I’ve tried plenty) but the springs in these are magic, worth every penny!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent product with a cool spring system. Bought these for my Dad as a birthday gift. He’s a keen DIYer and spends every weekend building or decorating something! I heard about this product on Facebook and was well impressed by the story and thought this would be an ideal gift for him! He’s been using them for building some decking out the back garden and doing some painting and decorating in the house and has found them to be a massive help on his knees — no pain or sores! A practical and useful Birthday Gift that he loves! Great purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars gift buyer for a Dad that loves DIY

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought these for laying some laminate floors in my new flat. I’m a tennis player, so my knees have taken a beating over the years and so feel the strain when kneeling. I got these on a recommendation from a mate who is a floor layer and has been helping me with the job. The springs are great, they make moving about the floor so much easier, and really do take the stress off. I’ve been ripping up the floors in the whole flat, so have really been putting these through their paces. After a good few weeks of use they’re still going strong and as good as the day I got them. I’ve been really impressed with the quality and robustness, not to mention the comfort is exceptional. Ive seen some negative reviews about the straps, but to be honest, I haven’t had any trouble with them, the material is really soft, and with a decent pair of trousers and regular stretches I’m fine. I’ve been following the guys at Recoil on Facebook for a while and love the whole story of how the product came about; these guys are really trying to make a difference to their customers and their customer service has been exceptional. Great product, and great business to deal with. Would highly recommend!

    Great quality and robust!

I bought these for my Grampa. This is what he said:
“I wish I had them 40 years ago, back then we didn’t have kneepads like this and we didn’t know how important it was to protect your knees. My knees are a mess now because I didn’t wear kneepads. These allow me to work around the house and not feel as much pain as I felt before, its great”

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought these kneepads for my husband as a gift. He’s a plumber who has found it really difficult to find kneepads that are comfy and actually fit. Most on the market don’t fit great around his skinny legs. These are the best he’s tried. They fit snuggly onto his legs and don’t move out of place. He works long hours and when he gets home usually he’s in quite a bit of pain or tends to have stiff knees. He’s noticed a real difference wearing these kneepads. These really are the best we’ve found.

The straps are just like every other knee pad, uncomphtable & you have to keep adjusting them! The pads themselves do take abit of getting used to! You seem to fall out of them, you have to lift your knee rather than slide them, but once you get used to this they are very good.! & give you a lot of protection! Especially in my job as a floor layer! Very glad I got these

These are just the thing I need for my poor knees! After an extensive house renovation my knees are suffering but these take all the pressure off. They look like they would be cumbersome to wear but they are very lightweight and have comfortable, wide straps. Ideal for flooring, tiling skirting boards, or anything low down.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI got these for my uncle for his birthday and this is what he told me to write:

To put things in to perspective, I have been a professional tiler for 16 years and have had problems with my knees for about 6 years now (meniscus tear and now bursitis). Over those past 6 years I must have spent around 300-400 on different types of kneepads. The issue has been I’ve never found a set to help stop the pain when I work very long shifts on my knees (6hrs and upwards).

Thankfully, and surprisingly, Recoil Kneepads are a breathe of fresh air. I’ve been using them for 5 weeks now on some tiling jobs, and I’ve had no knee pain or swelling, I’ve never found a pair that can do that.

Yes, you get the chafing from the straps like many kneepads, but these are a lot softer so after a while you hardly feel them. I just make sure that I wear my good work trousers and it’s fine. I had to alter my normal kneeling position, but that’s actually helped my back pain too because now I kneel in a better stance. It’s a small price to pay for the relief I get on my knees.

Finally the customer service from Recoil has been superb. They have been very responsive and even recommended a pain relief gel which works great. Not often companies go the extra mile like that. Overall a great product and great people

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe kneepads are great for kneeling on any paths whilst tending to beds , previous external devices have limitations. The natural kneeling position for me is key to protecting my knees but also allows me to get access to hard to reach places at the back of the borders. The square support seems to provide a better pivot for balance on one knee whilst planting.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBy far the best knee pads I’ve come across and this is coming from someone who’s had 7 knee operations !!

The coil springs help you move across the floor without feeling every lump and bump. The knee pad moves with you as you move unlike my old cumbersome rubber knee pads that gripped the floor and my knees causing pain

    Can’t Big them up enough!!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’m a relatively new Plumbing Apprentice who’s been told by his dad to get a good set of kneepads now before I regret in years to come (his knees are badly damaged now). These kneepads are awesome! I’ve been using them for 4 months now and not once has it came to the weekend and I’ve had sore knees. Got my dad to try them on too, who has been through stacks of them and he said they’re the best kneepads he’s tried.

The springs take most of the impact when you are kneeling and because theres 6 of them, you get to move from side to side. They also look like storm troopers equipment which always catches the attention of any customers or guys I work with.

The straps are soft, and personally they could be firmer but they don’t dig into the back of the legs which is usually the big problem with straps, so very happy with that.

Overall I’d recommend these to anyone. Good job guys! One happy custome

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAs someone who has a knee problem from doing gardening work when I was younger without using proper knee pads I thought it was worth purchasing this product. Although they are not cheap they are well worth every single penny. When cheap knee pads are used when doing a job which entails much kneeling down and standing up it’s the constant jarring that damages knees. When wearing these your knees simply don’t jar and they are so comfortable. I wish they had been made thirty years ago.

These knee protectors have enabled me to resume general DIY jobs requiring me to kneel, that I,ve been prevented from doing over the last couple of years due to problems with my knees. They are a quality product, fit comfortably, and unlike others I,ve tried, don,t slip and most importantly spread the pressure evenly across the knee joint. I can work for far longer than I,ve recently been able to without increased pain other products have caused.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI’ve been a specialist tiler for 11 years now and have tried out many, many different knee pads/ergonomic tile seats/kneeling devices. However I have finally found some knee pads that actually do the trick!

I ordered these whilst I was laid in a hot bath trying to make the aches in my knees better! There is a video on YouTube explaining how these knee pads came to be designed and what they were trying to accomplish with them. Everything they mention in the video regarding features and usage of them was spot on.

I have just tiled a 220 square meter floor whilst wearing them and after 16 days of constant use I had no knee pains! (which any tiler will tell you is unheard of!)

-They are sprung so when you are kneeling your knees are almost bouncing. Which takes any impact away from the knee.
-They have a strap that goes around your lower thigh and another around calf so no uncomfortable straps behind the knee.
    – I had to do a lot of walking around/carrying/shuffling about whilst wearing them and they stayed in position without falling down.

If you work on your knees a lot then do yourself a favour and buy a pair of these Recoil pads!!!!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our Usershad a small issue with delivery, but I got in contact with seller direct and it was sorted out straight away with no issues. first impressions are they are comfy and fit good, im a tiler and can be wearing my knee pads for 10/12 hour shifts every day with heavy use, so I feel a difference, the boys I work with tried them as well and all had the same opinion, just down to durability now, hopefully they last a while, if so ill not be using anything else.
