Not that powerful
Same power as my last dryer but this one definitely is not the same strength. It takes longer to dry my thick wavy hair.
That said, it does what it says on the tin.
I don’t usually use hair dryers because it makes my wavy hair frizzy. However, as it’s getting colder, I have no choice but to get one. And I must say, I’m really impressed – especially at this price point! I really wasn’t expecting it to do much else than dry hair. But it dries my hair really well and keeps it frizz free!! My hair looks so smooth and healthy after drying!
Nice drye
I bought the same dryer as my old one but of course it’s more modern. My old one lasted years and I don’t think I will use the large extra piece as my hair is fairly short. The power is nice to experience as my old one was wearing out.

Quality hair dryer with cold air booste
It’s a great quality hair dryer and I bought it on sale as my old hair dryer needed replacing. It’s everything I needed, a good brand and leaves my hair shiny and also it has a cold blowing facility. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend it .
Has something others just don't... a looooong cable
My old hairdryer finally gave up after 7 years of use so I needed a replacement. After a long browse through all of the models on Amazon I ended up buying this one – exactly the same model as my old one. After 7 years it’s still the only one that has the most important feature of all… a long enough cable.
To be honest I probably wouldn’t notice the difference between an ionic or non ionic hairdryer, 2200W or 2500W, but I would notice a hairdryer that forced me to sit on the floor to reach the plug socket.
Notice to all hairdryer manufacturers: Give us longer cables!!
The Remington Hair Dryer is a solid choice for everyday use. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and dries hair quickly. I love the different heat and speed settings, which allow for more control depending on your hair type and styling needs. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit noisy, but overall, it’s a great value for the price. Highly recommended!
It doesn’t suck!
This hairdryer blew me away, literally! Powerful motor, good differences between the settings, comfortable to hold (not heavy) and came with a diffuser too.
Worth the money, and will update this review if my opinion changes.
My criteria for a new hairdryer were a long lead, I’m 5 foot 8 aka 1.72m tall so there is no point in getting a dryer with a 1.8m lead that’s too short, plus nowhere was the cord length listed, had to google that! The cord length on this is 2.5m which is pretty good. Not as good as my old Remington which had a 3m cord though.
Then I needed a powerful motor because I have a lot! of hair, this has a 2200w one, it also has 2 speeds and 3 heat settings plus the cool shot like my last Remington.
I used it this morning and it dried my hair nice and fast, I can now retire the travel hairdryer I was using (which took over 10 minutes to dry my hair) back to the suitcase it lives in for traveling. The price was also very good at only 24.99 on a deal. This does come with attachments too.
Hoping it lasts as long as my previous Remington.
All you need in an everyday hairdrye
With various speed and heat settings this dries and styles just as I need it to. One very, very small niggle is the location of the cool air button – I catch it every time, just need to remember it’s there

Great buy
It works well for me and I enjoy using it. Good value. I mostly use it with a round brush for blowouts with the concentrator attachment. I haven’t had any problems with it.
Absolutely great price, not too heavy and dries my (thick) hair really quickly. I’d had my old hairdryer for years and wanted something with more features. The different temperatures and speeds are fantastic, found this very handy when drying my daughter’s hair as she hates it too hot so no complaints whatsoever! The diffuser has come in handy for curly hair and also helping dry at the scalp quicker. I have trichotillomania and have found drying my hair with a hairdryer instead of letting it dry naturally doesn’t make my scalp irritable.

Wonderful for the price. Definitely dries my hair faster than my previous hairdryer and I have very thick hair. No idea how a more expensive one could do much more, to be honest!

My old hairdryer has finely died after 20 years, didn’t want to spend too much money. Only had this about a week and don’t use it everyday. The diffuser dried my thin hair in what seemed like seconds. I’m very much a utility person, I didn’t buy it for style I bought it for purpose and it is definitely fit for purpose, it’s brilliant and great value. If you had long hair I think it would give you so much body and I don’t think it will overheat you either, magic!

Really good value and works perfectly! However, it does heat up quite a bit, meaning you have to leave it to cool down before putting it away. Love that it has different diffuser heads!
I have just started to embrace my natural curls after years of having frizzy hair or straightening. I wanted a reasonably priced diffuser for drying my curls as it was taking hours for them to dry naturally. Light weight, long cord, diffuser clicks securely without falling off and it has a good powerful air flow with a choice of speed and heat settings. Fantastic price!

I have had many hair dryers all ranging between 10-250 and so far nothing beats this one! I stopped using it when I first got it as I wanted to upgrade myself but honestly all my upgrades were either super high pitched, slow drying, or a burning heat! Just got this one again as I just want a decent hair dryer and I forgot just how amazing it was! Drys my hair so quick, dosnt burn it, and really light to hold and no high pitched noise! For the price this is incredible… wish it came it more colours but purchase purchase purchase!!!

I love that it has multiple settings for heat and blast speed for different needs eg med heat and fast blow for child, low heat low blow for pet, high heat low blow for setting curls.
I might get another one just in case.
Absolutely love this hairdryer. It’s a decent size, quite lightweight and has a long cord length (probably about 7-8 feet). Although it couldn’t be described as a ‘travel hairdryer’, I would certainly take it away with me – not forgetting the European adapter if necessary! Seller very efficient – well done and thank you!
I needed a hairdryer quickly as mine died, so purchased this quickly due to past reviews and price. Didn’t need anything fancy and this works well, and dries my hair well. Not much more to say other than it works as expected.
I wanna start of the the blow dryer it self not the diffuser the blow dryer workes like it’s a very expensive high quality blow dryer it’s got a nice hot and cold temp and it is very strong
The Diffusor is also good it’s abit slow at drying your hair but it’s very good and works like good it has lasted me ages and workes as good as the first use so no worries about how it works it has a nice long cable for if your fat away from the socket
Overall it’s very good lasts long cheep works very good and ect

Really good powerful hairdryer. I had my old one for years when it finally gave up I was worried about another one but this is perfect dries well easy to hold 10/10
Lighter and less noisy than the one I am replacing, and in the days of eco concern, I understand why the drying is not quite as gast. The annoying thing for me is that I keep depressing the cool button by mistake, because of the way I have to hold it. Otherwise a good enough drier, and the attachments are a plus.

Bought this haidryer for my little grandaughter – whose favourite colour is purple! Love the sleek design. it’s lightweight and powerful. Needed a diffuser to curl up her hair. Very happy!
Good ionic hairdryer at a good price.
Works well with blow drying my short style. Haven’t used the diffuser yet though. Colour of dryer is nice. Paid less for this Remington than the previous black one that lasted for about 7 years, so I’m hoping that this one will last as long. Very pleased with it so far.
