Great value for money, best straightners yet.
Lovely. Better than GHD’s, nice to have the option for different heat settings, and even at 235 it leaves hair nice and shiny, and doesnt snag. I even bought a spare set!
Excellent - preferred to GHD
My wife loves them, says they are comparable with the much more expensive brands she has used in the past. They don’t pull at all like other brands. Definitely recommend
I have had my hair straightened by my hairdresser and never been able to replicate it once at home. Not so now! This straightner easily rivals more expensive brands like GHD and Cloud 9. I don’t mind spending money where it is required but this is a bargain for what it does. It is extremely quick to heat up and does what it says. My hair stays straight between washes. I have fine hair and lots of it if that helps you make a decision. Too much packaging is the only disapppointment.
What more can I say? When she asked me to order them for her, I thought the price was terrible until my wife showed me the cost of her previous straighteners, the market leader. She was hesitant that these might not be as good, but now she’s used them for a while she’s delighted with them. She says they work brilliantly. Her hair looks lovely and I seem to have saved a lot of money, so we’re both happy.

Heats up extremely quickly, takes no more than a few minutes to straighten my shoulder, medium thickness length hair. I hope it lasts as long as my last straighteners which I had for four years. UPDATE: now had them for over a year with no complaints. They leave my hair shiny and I’m happy as I can use them on 180 while my daughter prefers 250. Will get the cordless version for her birthday so I can get her to stop nicking these!
Never used steam straighteners before & always used ghd & cloud nine. At first I thought my new steam straighteners were not steaming because I expected loads of steam like a clothes iron but they don’t. This is the best thing I have ever bought for my hair . My hair straightens quicker, looks straighter & definitely looks healthier. I told my friend about them & she bought some as well & she said its the best money she has ever spent & we both say we dont know how we have manged all these years without them . I bought them for just under 60 & are worth every penny . Can’t recommend them enough & I’m hard to impress !

Solved my problem
Very easy and intuitive to use. I was nervous about spending as much money on something I hadn’t seen but am very happy indeed. Easy to use, heats up very quickly, and there’s a safety mat to sit it on. It switches off by itself if you forget.
Efficient, well designed straighteners
Efficient, well designed straighteners. Not a well known brand to me, but very good quality and and easy to use, effective product. Some nice features in that you can adjust the temperature [nice clear read-out], wide, smooth plates for thicker/longer hair and there is a very useful, 3m salon length cord. Very pleased.

Love these. Used for the first time and hair is straightened in minutes. Only thing I wish they had, was for the irons to clip together for storage.

Lovely tongs. I have afro hair and it makes my hair lovely, straight and smooth, even on a lower setting. Heats up quickly. Came in a lovely box great for storage. I got them for a brilliant price too.
Wow. Used the “top” brand for a few years but this blew it out of the park. Did just issue it said on the tin. My unruly frizz prone matting hair straightened and actually stayed straight even on a dog walk. Want to buy a few in case I can’t get them in the future.

I’ve been after better pair of straighteners for a while as I have never been truly happy with my most recent pair of GHDs. Tried the Remington shine therapy ones which were utterly useless and felt so cheap.
Read all of the reviews on these and thought I’d give them a go and wow! The plates are super smooth, love the adjustable temp, the shape is much thinner so can get closer to the root and my hair is so shiny!

Superb
Amazing straighteners, I have wavy, difficult to tame hair and these straighteners go through it like butter, lovely shiny finish and stays straight even upon waking up in the morning. Only disclaimer – if you’re not used to steam straighteners, use them carefully, I managed to get a little burn on my cheek from holding them too close!
Well, after years of using the ghds and finding that they take longer straightening my hair having to keep going over the same piece of hair 3 or 4 times, and I have wavy hair, I thought after seeing an advert for done that use steam I looked on here and found these beauties. Well, I have medium to thick just below shoukder hair and used the less steam setting and the heat automatically sets, and wow took me 10 minutes to do all my hair….fantastic for mornings before work…so it’s a thumbs up from me and bye bye to ghds that are 3 times or more the price….now to convince my daughters…
Very large efficient plates, with a learning curve if more used to smaller straighteners.
Once I got this product out of the very sturdy packaging. Yes, I did struggle to open a cardboard box, you may laugh, I confess felt a bit daunted by the size of plates which are longer than the ones on my other straightener. Really though the controls are quite straightforward to use and very similar to those of my other straightener. Also I like the fact that this has a nice long cable.
This heats up just as quickly as my other straightener but on the plus side it has a clearer read out and because the plates are a good size large you can be a bit quicker at creating your style.
If like me you feel a bit daunted by the size of the plates do take your time with them. Because they were bigger, I was worried that I might be more likely to drop it or bump myself with it but it’s just a matter of being careful with it as you should be with any straighteners or heated devices, in fact it’s not particularly heavy despite its size and weights about the same as my other one.
I like the positioning of the power button sometimes with my other styler I accidentally pressed the power button and switch it off because of where it’s positioned. The power button is between the tongs it’s not in a position where you will accidentally press it.

It is hard to find any negatives with these straighteners. I guess the real test is time and i will revisit this review if things go sideways with these. But as of right now. We really do believe these to be better than the GHD’s we have in the house.

The best straightener ever!
Since I was a teenager I cannot imagine myself without perfectly straight hair. I had tons of straighteners in my life but this Revamp steam straightener is the one! It is heavier than my previous straighteners but it has steam chamber. This was my first time with such an addition but my hair never looked better. I even done keratin and botox treatments on my hair using Revamp straightener and the results are much better than after my previous straightener. I also like that there was silicone heat-resistant mat included which is very helpful and protects my furniture. The settings for the temperature are from 150 to 230 degrees so basically what I need and expect for a staightener to have. It is life changing with its advanced technology and the fact that it is enriched with keratin, argan and coconut oil. Perfect! Highly recommended!
Makes light work of thick hair, keeping it straight and conditioned
While the retail price of 99.99 is high, this is certainly worth the 66.66 price currently listed on Amazon.
I had previously not heard of the Revamp brand, having instead bought straighteners from Remington, Babylis and GHD, however, these certainly hold their own and are among the nicest straighteners we have tried.
These are wide plate straighteners at 35mm wide, making them difficult to use on short hair, but perfect for long hair where it glides through the hair easier and quicker than regular sized straighteners. There is nothing where your hair can snag and get caught, which was a previous hate of mine with a set from Remington.
The straighteners both look and feel like they’re salon quality, with a matte black finish and a light blueish highlight, however it should be noted that this highlighted section is significantly more vibrant than in the listing’s photos, which makes it look quite subtle.
The ceramic plates are super smooth and, while I don’t quite understand the logic behind the plates being infused with oils (because surely the oils would run out?), it does seem to condition the hair as it straightens, which keeps it frizz-free and prevents knots.
The temperature control is quite simple and allows you to increase the temperature up to 235c, or down to 80c. They’re usable within 30 seconds or so and make light work of thick hair on the higher settings.
Both myself and my partner have very thick hair; my hair is now too short for wide plates, and while her hair is down past her shoulders, it is very difficult to curl as it always loses shape after half an hour. With these straighteners it does suggest that you can use them for curling, however we found this to be quite difficult due to the width; it would produce poor curls that would fall out in minutes. I wouldn’t recommend trying to curl hair with these and instead would recommend actual curlers for this.
I’d give these a solid five out of five if you’re buying for someone who has long, thick and potentially curl hair, as these will keep you hair straight and with a knot-free, conditioned feel. Definitely worthy of comparison to well-known brands.
Wow. These are good and heat up ridiculously fast.
These heat up super quick, the digital display shows the temperature rising at a phenomenal rate once you have turned them on. They are also very quick to straighten your hair as the straighteners cover a large area at one time. There are some really useful features such as being able to adjust the temperature up or down to suit you, and the last temperature chosen is remembered for you. The lead is good and long and comes with a velcro fastener to wrap it up and store neatly.There is a mat included to rest the hot straighteners on safely and a comprehensive instruction booklet. The straighteners come in classy packaging, so would make a great gift and look extremely stylish themselves in a graduated metallic turquoise blue and black colour. Most importantly though they work really well. I have fine hair that goes frizzy in the rain. These straighteners worked incredibly quickly to turn frizzball hair into silky straight locks whilst still retaining some volume.Very impressive indeed.
These are brilliant! I’ve always used GHD straighteners but looked at reviews and decided to change. The temperature control is great as I have fine over processed hair prone to breakage. I have been using 185, the lowest temperature, which works great. Feel like I have been conned into damaging my hair by GHD over the years as they only have one temperature – hot! These straighteners leave your hair silky, shiney and smooth and are such good value. Really worth buying -don’t hesitate – buy them now!
Steam strangers
So im in love because my very first pair of hair straighteners back in the day had a water tank option but definitely not as small n sleek as these.
You can select from a choice of 3 options. None. Low or hight steam. (I recommend the high setting if you have thick or naturally very curly hair.)
It makes your hair feel so sleek and soft like you been to the salon. Without the salon prices.
I actually like the temperature setting is inside the handle so there no change of you pressing and changing the setting by mistake while on use.
Litterly select your temp at the beginning and away you go.
Comes with a long 3m cable aswell.
Only down side is that I have to hide them as my sister keeps trying to steel them from me, and she don’t even live with me…
Classy look, Steam function, and amazing Performance
This Progloss straightener from REVAMP is one of the best I have ever tried. I used several straighteners over the years from very well-known brands and this REVAMP one earns its place within the best category.
* Design:
In terms of the overall design, this straightener features a minimalist design with a black colour that adds elegance and gives it a classy look. The surface of the straightener is very soft, but it is not slippery at all, it rather ensures a reliable grip. The weight is quite acceptable and I can use it for long periods with no issue.
* Performance:
This delivers a silky soft and straight hair in a matter of minutes. One go is enough for my hair to look shiny and sleek, unlike other straighteners that require repetitive straightening. This efficient straightening equally protects my hair from heat damage. The steam function is just amazing. It is like using an iron steamer, but a bit safer and more effective. There are different modes to choose from and if your hair is very sensitive or damaged you can go with the low heat mode which would still yield lovely results.
In addition to the above, this straightener features a 3 meter cord which is more than enough for mobility and comfort when in use.
Overall I am very happy with this straightener, it deserves 5 stars.
These straighteners arrived in a very nice presentation box which has a moulded insert to keep the tongs safe and tidy, there’s plenty of room to keep the provided heat mat and instructions in the box also. It also has a useful magnetic closure.
They are apparently Salon tested in the UK although they are made in China. They come with a handy 2 year guarantee. The instruction manual provided is in various languages.

Well my wife is extremely happy with them.
She is not a newbie to hair products and has used many different types of curling/ straightening appliances over the years. She has very fine hair and has always found it a job to get her hair to curl under properly and stay, no problem by using these on the steam option her hair stayed curled under for most of the day. So full marks there.
In use the chord, which has a useful velcro tidy strap, is very long ( just under 3 metres) and has a swivel end so does not twist up when she is using them to curl.
The straighteners also have a nice black rubberised finish allowing a firm grip when using.They are well balanced and are not too heavy to hold.
The temperature gauge is very bright and easy to read and the temperature can be selected by button press from 150c to 230c .
The ceramic plates are very smooth and glide on her hair without snaring.
The water/steam reservoir is easily accessible on the top and can be removed by just sliding a button. The steam level has a small dial for selecting the required power of steam Full/ Low/ Off. They do recommend to use filtered water to stop the build up of scale. So worth factoring in.
They can also be locked shut by pushing down tab near where they are hinged if required but she doesn’t bother with that as she keeps them in the box as mentioned.
The mat is a decent size too and easily accommodates when hot while using. They also have an automatic shut off feature which kicks in after 60 minutes.
All in all a competent pair of straighteners. The price tag is quite high but they are very nice quality and she reckons comparable to those used by professionals in her local salon.

These straighteners are very good, lovely, lightweight and easy to use. They heat up quickly to the set temperature and cool down quickly. The body is lovely soft touch, the display screen is clear and easy to read and I like the professional long cord.
I straightened my long, thick hair and I am very impressed with the results on my hair. I think these straighteners are much better than my old ones and they give a good longer-lasting curl as well.
I love the idea the ceramic ionic plates are coated in keratin, argan and coconut oil so, they make my hair lovely, soft and shiny.

Quick to use on fine hai
These stood up well in comparison to my wife’s usual GHDs.
They worked well straightening her hair quickly without any use of product first. She has fine hair and found these to be very easy to use to straighten it.

Stylish replacement for old favourites
Until recently my partner would use nothing but her favourite pair of leading brand hair straighteners. Now, having tried the REVAMP Progloss Steam Care Ceramic Hair Straighteners, the previous pair are no longer in use.
Even the packaging of these straighteners is of a very high standard giving an overall feeling of quality before you’ve ever handled the product. The straighteners themselves are well thought out, stylish, practical and made to a high standard and come with a clear, easy to understand instruction booklet
In use, the easy clip-on water tank which looks very small actually holds enough water to provide steam for approx. 6 – 12 sessions depending on how you use the straighteners. The steam prevents static build-up in the hair, eliminates frizziness and leaves it looking and feeling good. There are three steam settings, high, low, and off and a range of temperature settings from 150 – 230.
My partner particularly liked the swivel cable which, as well as being less likely to tangle up, was of a good length allowing her plenty of freedom whilst using the straighteners. Finally there were the safety features such as the silicone heat mat and the automatic cut-off after 60 minutes of non-use which are both great for peace of mind and the protection of furniture surfaces.
Absolutely amazing and the best I've ever used
I absolutely love these Revamp Progloss ceramic hair straighteners! I have really fine, heat damaged hair from straightening my hair every day for the past 18 years and also dying my hair every 6 weeks. For the last year I’ve started losing hair on the top later as if it’s just snapped in half so I have loads of short bits. My hair usually gets frizzy 5 minutes after straightening or stepping outside but since I’ve been using these Revamp straighteners my hair is in much better condition and there’s a lot less frizz. They glide through my hair so easily with no snagging. You don’t need to repeat each section even when using the lowest setting which is 150. I usually use 150 or 170 due to having fine hair. These will reach 230 and the heat control setting is between the straighteners. They will flash until it’s reached the selected temperate and it takes less than 1 minute. I like how a heat mat is supplied so I can lay them down whilst I section my hair. They also have a 60 minute safety shut off incase you forget to turn them off. These have 3 settings on the bottom for the steam. Full steam, half steam and off. I don’t tend to notice much difference between low and off. The water tank is small yet easy to fill. My hair is feeling so much softer since using these. Definitely worth the money.
Impressive hair straightener!
I honestly had never heard from this brand before, but this product definitively put it in my radar for more hair products.
The plates are huge, which allowed my wife to have her long thick hair done in no time!
But the part the impressed us the most is the tight control of the temperature and how fast the device gets to it. It starts with 180C, but you can go low, to 80C if you want and the device will remember. Once you turn it on, it gets to the temperature in seconds. I wasn’t marking the time, but it felt like 15 seconds to get from 20C to 180C. We never saw anything that fast.
The cable is long and has a rotation feature that allows it to spin free while using the device, making the process more comfortable. Also, it definitively will prolong the wire durability. Well though.
In the box, there is also a mat, where you can rest the device, assuring that you won’t burn any wood furniture with this hair straightener.
The box itself is great, a black discreet box with magnets that close it. I’m using it to store the device. Nice.
All around, a great premium product that works perfectly.
Seems like a perfect pair of straighteners
This is a nice and sturdy set of hair straighteners that have most features anyone could want.
You get the straighteners and a silicone mat to rest it on. Operation is easy, setting the temperature and just waiting 30s or so. There’s no audible beep to let you know when it’s up to temp though, so you have to keep an eye on it. Best that you do with this sort of appliance anyway. They heat up really quickly though, so there’s no waiting about.
You can lock the temperature so it isn’t accidentally changed. Going down to 80C is useful for fragile hair, and these should suit most people’s needs. The plates are quite large, so you can do more hair in one go. The oils infused in them certainly seems to make them glide over dry hair and leave it better coming out than going in.
There’s a useful shut down after 60 minutes. A nice safety feature, but unless you’re in a salon it probably could have been a lot shorter. You don’t need long with a set like this.
The best straighteners I have ever used!
Woow these straighteners are amazing! They look so sleek, stylish and very expensive! These out beat any i have ever used before! They are so quick to heat up (see video) the plates are such a good size for multiple hair types, you get a heat resistant mat so don’t have worry about where you place them, it comes in a nice box with a magnetic close lid which you can store everything in. The cable is a very nice thickness very sturdy! The on off button is on the inside it can locked to set a certain temperature. The display is nice and clear, they are not to heavy and are easy and nice to use. I would highly recommend these straighteners they are amazing!
Progloss Straighteners
It’s worth seeing these as a comparison to the big players, like GHD and Dyson, rather than to the mid-range brands like Toni&Guy and Remington. The quality is on par and it makes the price more digestible, as it does seem expensive. When we consider that GHD’s and the Dyson ones are 150+, the price point makes more sense.
The benefits of these include just being so well designed. For thick hair, they work really well. The heat doesn’t burn and remains consistent, they’re light and easy to hold, and the curves of the plastic reduce your chances of burning yourself. Overall i’m impressed with how well user-experience designed they are.
The plates are smooth and don’t seem to clog, and being ceramic they last longer and retain the heat.
Overall, i’m a big fan. They work really well and are a good alternative if you want better than the average, but don’t want to pay for the higher-end brands.

My straighteners if a certain top brand finally gave up the ghost after years of service but I didn’t fancy paying the hefty price tag to replace them. So after much online research I opted for these! I’m so glad I did they’re perfect they have temperature control which is essential for my fine highlighted not to mention mature hair. I’m thrilled with these they are easy to use and heat up quickly. Do the job perfectly.

These straighteners are quality through and through and they perform really well, even on my hair, which is not the easiest to straighten. I was a bit dubious about the idea of mixing water and electricity to make steam, but actually the little chamber is safe and easy to fill – small amounts of water involved but great effects – you can adjust the level of steam via a little dial on the body of the straighteners. One thing I really like is the lengthy cord, and the easy to manage controls, and having a silicone mat is really handy too.
Overall these look and feel like they have been designed for professional results. The plates are excellent and, because they are a good size, they are breeze to use. My hair is left shiny and straight and I find the straighteners simple and effective. I really love them and think that they are worth it.
Bought a set for the wife, her current pair is the GHD Scarlett which she said would pull at her hair. She much prefers these over the GHD’s. Brownie points for me!

Works so well and esy to use. Heats up very quickly. Can make curles is well.
i like the plates on it is well. Its quite large, so taking much less time to make your hair straight.
The temperature can be also controled, which is another great thing about them.
I didnt really see any shine effects, but I think its just because I am blonde.
Also I like the design and colour of this straighteners.
Another great thing is that cable is 3m long. Its great thing if the mirror is a bit far away from wall socket.
Overall, I think the price is great for such quality hair straighteners and surely I do recommend them to all.
Good...
Have been a long time fan of GHD’s and it would take something really special to make me retire them but these make a good attempt. They perform really well and straighten my really thick hair without too much trouble. I’m just not sure if I like the steam aspect yet or not. They’re very well made and are more than up to the job of tackling my mane, I just might need time for the steam to work it’s magic on me.
The best straighteners she's used!
These were a gift for my better half who has really enjoyed using them! The cord is nice and long which is usually a gripe trying to work all the way round your head and sitting in front of the mirror. Also they are nice and light which is a plus if your going for an elaborate style which would give you the dreaded ache with a heavier pair.
She said that they were very efficient at straightening and the results were long lasting, this was the first pair she has used which has had a steam function and although she didn’t notice much difference in the time taken to straighten with it either off, medium or high steam, her hair felt softer once after using the steam.
They heated up very fast (in about 30 seconds) and only took about 10 seconds to swap between temperatures. which was easy to do with the temperature display.
There were a couple of gripes even if they were small, one of which was the fact the heat mat which came with the straighteners was a bit on the small side compared to other mats that have come with her previous pairs. Saying this though it was good at blocking the heat as the underneath stayed cool.
The other was that the lock on the straighteners was a little fiddly to lock shut and after having a go myself its a little fiddly but after a few goes of knowing how to push it and how hard it felt more natural. It is also a little fiddly getting the steam water tank on and off although the amount of water used means you shouldn’t have to worry about this too often.
She said they are the best pair she’s used so they have to be half decent, and over all im very happy because she is! and speeding up getting her ready to get out the door is a added bonus!

Professional straighteners that don‘t damage hai
I have curly mixed race hair that breaks easily so I was very hesitant to use these straighteners. However, the fact that there is a heat setting is reassuring and helped straighten my hair damage free. I tried it out right away, but waited to review the product to see if it would cause dry, brittle, split ends, but it hasn’t! Mine would break right away so the fact that it still hasn’t means it’s a great product. I love the design and the packaging it came in as well. Made it look very professional and would also make a brilliant gift. You can also do different styles. As you can see in the pic my hair is slightly wavey. The picture was taken a day after and having plaited them over night. Usually I will have to re straighten them, but they looked even prettier this way and they didn’t go curly again. I don’t like my hair completely straight and flat anyways. I do like some volume. This was very achievable with these straighteners. Also I didn’t need to blowdry them before straightening as you often have to with black or mixed hair. In my opinion that just causes double heat damage as your hair has to endure heat for longer or twice. However, I managed to straighten them right away very quickly as well. I didn’t have to keep going over the strand. So if you want long lasting results without permanently damaging your hair these are the ones for you! Beautiful look, gorgeous design, really easy to use, but still professional!
Very effective hair straightening using steam
This REVAMP hair straightener is very stylish, from the build quality to the attractive presentation pack that it comes in.
The ability to be able to use different temperature settings is extremely handy for different hair types, and my partner found the lower 150 degrees setting to be most effective for her hair type.
The steam feature is very novel and not something my partner has used before, she always uses a conventional straightener, but she found the steam gave her hair a lovely smooth and healthy finish.

This Revamp Progloss Ultra X hair tongs come beautifully boxed and in a glossy carton sleeve.
Inside is the high quality and well-made pair of hair tongs with a very long wire cable.
At first sight and handling of the tongs, I was amazed at how well designed and using quality materials. It’s sturdy, robust, feels good and premium.
I can see and feel that there has been a lot of R&D research put into this product.
The ceramic blades work flawlessly and the tongs heat up quickly and do its job perfectly and consistently without issues. You can do your hair and get that effect without worries about damaging your hair.
The power-on button is strategically positioned on the inside which prevents accidental powering on.
There is a handy digital temperature display on the front.
I am happy with the extra-long cable to handle those plug sockets which may be far away.
The tongs hold so well in my hands.
I had a wonderful experience using these tongs and they are in my opinion the best that I’ve used to date.

Good straighteners with steam functio
These are good. They come nicely presented in a rigid, gift style box with a lift-up flap lid. The one criticism I have is that the packaging was proportionately quite large, including a double-layer plastic tray. These are supplied with a heat proof mat (unlike some of the biggest names in straighteners), so they’re safely useable directly out of the box, without needing to buy a mat before they can be put down to heat/cool safely.
The little water tank for the steam function is detachable – and comes off to be filled. The accompanying manual recommends using filtered water in the tank. If I still lived in Wales or Manchester where the water is soft, I might be tempted to ignore this and just go with tap water; but here in the Cotswolds the water is limescale-heavy and leaves horrible residue all over everything – I suspect these wouldn’t live long unless using filtered water. Power button and temperature control are on the inside of the straighteners, but not too close to the plates, so there’s no need for fingers to get too close to the heated surfaces. Steam is controlled by means of a dial with settings for off, low, and high steam. For my fine hair the low steam setting is recommended. These work well. My hair, in addition to being very fine, is naturally pretty straight, so using these is really quite quick. Am hoping that the steam function of these will prove to be gentler and kinder on my hair.
They Work For Me
As I have thick wavy hair that goes frizzy and dry, especially in damp weather, this means straightening can be a nightmare, and usually only my hairdresser can tame the beast.
I have definitely found my dream straighteners in these REVAMP Progloss Steamcare Hair Straighteners. I have found these to put the shine back in my hair and it actually stays straight the whole day. I imagine the steam was what my hair needed to fight the frizz and keep it straight and hydrated, but I’ve never used steam straighteners before, so didn’t know any better. Also the Progloss super smooth oils keratin, argan and coconut infused ceramic plates possibly (allegedly) help with the smooth finish.
I thought at first the small water chamber would need to be filled every time I used them, but it actually lasts for a few goes. The water chamber is easy to click in and out, so no problems there, and the steam has 3 settings depending how hot you want it.
You can also use them without steam if you want, which is useful. The heat setting for the straighteners is from 150C to 230C and easy to set, with them heating up quickly too.
You also get a silicone heat-resistant mat which is a good size for lying the straighteners on for safety reasons. The cable is a good long length and also for safety the straighteners shutdown after 60 minutes.
I think the price is good for a decent pair of straighteners. You get what you pay for and I’m very happy to recommend these REVAMP straighteners.
Effective
This works well. I tend to agree with the majority of the reviews so I won’t bother just repeating what they say.
This is easy and straightforward to use. It does genuinely straighten your hair and it is quite powerful.
It seems to be pretty well made and I haven’t had any problems with it so far.

Excellent straighteners. Everything about them feels good quality even the box. You get the heat may in with them as well. They feel like the ones they use at the salon, the power cord is longer, I think it’s 3m, the touch of it is that soft mat rubbery stuff that feels nice.
Heating up to 190 took around 90 seconds until it was ready which is a lot faster than our old ones and the heat plates that touch your hair are very silky smooth and with the steam really do work so much better.
You get a detachable water container that looks too small but it turns out it hardly uses any water so they last a few goes. We made a mistake and put tap water in them which worked fine but then we realised it tells you to use filtered water which I’m not entirely sure if it means just our jug of filtered water or a special bought water. We haven’t got that so have been using our fridge jug to pour it in.
The effects afterwards are so much shinier and smoother and it does feel like it’s not damaging the hairs as much, it says something about infused oils in the plates but whatever it is these are a different class to any 30-50 pound straighteners that we’ve used before.
The temperature setting switches seemed a little awkward at first but when you get used to it they are actually in a good place so they don’t interfere with holding them at all and it’s more comfortable.
We highly recommend these, can’t fault them at all and the difference it obvious once you try them.

Although the price point of these is in the mid range, we felt that the quality really shone through.
Out of the bag, they look great and even came with a safety mat to rest the straighteners on.
They do a fantastic job of straightening, the best we’ve seen (although up until now we have mostly had cheaper sets anyway).
Definitely worth the money, and very impressed with the results.
The only niggle is that it didn’t come with a carry bag – you could have made the safety mat the carry bag as well 🙂
Be Careful With Controls
So if never heard of this brand before and was a bit dubious as to how effective they would actually be. Steam function in a pair of straighteners was a new concept for me until recently but these do just as good a job with this function as my pair of Babyliss that were slightly more expensive. My only real complaint is the location of the temperature adjustments. It’s one of those things that is hard to get right. I’ve had temperature adjustments on the side and top before and unless there’s a locking feature then you can easily press buttons whilst in the process of straightening. This has a different problem of the controls being hard to get to!! They’re in between the straightening sides. Whilst this is great for the accidental pressing issue it’s not so great if you need to amend the temperature for any reason, the irons get hot and the controls are placed right by that hotness. Besides that I’d definitely recommend these should anyone ask!
Very Impressive !!!
I made the comparison between these and another 2 famous brands. I’m not allowed to type the brands in my review but one was a three letter acronym for Good Hair Devices …. and the other one was a cordless manufacturer who tend to make vacuum cleaners using cyclone technology. Anyway these are around quarter of the price of the wireless hair straighteners and work just as well. These are lighter and have a cord but the actual performance is definately as good as both their market leading brands. The plate width was excellent, controls were easy, heated p VERY quickly (watch that) looked expensive (if that matter to you) but they are definately more than capable of doing the job and I wouldn’t hesitate for give these 5 stars and RECOMMEND them.
For awhile now my hairdresser has been telling me GHDs aren’t the be-all and end-all when it comes to straighteners and that I should go out of my comfort zone and try something new and turns out .. she was right.
Comes in a sleek box, and the straighteners themselves are lightweight in feel but the appliance itself is a nice bulky size so covers more hair in less time. I like when using it that it grips my hair so as I glide through it.
Has different heat and steam options for you to manipulate based upon your hair type and also the style that you are going for. I have fine hair so being able to use a lower heat and steam stream Is essential so I don’t damage my hair.
The water chamber is very easy to fill up and click into place. I couldn’t see much steam as I had it on the lower settings but it definitely makes noticeable difference to my hair, it infuses moisture into dry hair.
Also makes my hair much shiner, this I put down to the Keratin, Argan and Coconut oil infused into the plates.
Love the long power cord, if you are limited on power outlets in the room you do your hair this is a god send. I can now do my hair in front of my big make up mirror when before I had a little make shift mirror to do my hair as my old straighteners wouldn’t reach that far.
I’d advise anyone reading this to try something new, we get caught up using the same products and brands but as technology evolves there are lots of new exciting brands with innovate products out there that we are doing ourselves a disservice by not giving them a go.

Impressive; highly recommend
I am impressed. This is not a brand I am aware of but these have definitely held their own against the straighteners I use daily at the moment.
These are easy to use – simply plug in and press the power button (located on the middle of the plates). You can then use the plus and minus buttons to choose your temperature. Initially this starts at 180 but can go up to 235, and can actually go down to 80 which is useful if you’ve got really thin, fragile hair. Already one up on my current which don’t have the option to change the temperature. The thing I was most impressed with was how FAST these heat up; as you can see from the video it didn’t take any longer than 30 seconds to go right up to 180 – wow! A bonus for busy mornings.
These have quite wide and long plates meaning they are especially good for, and easy to, use when straightening long/thick hair; making easy work of my reasonably long but thin hair – I’d done my whole head in a matter of minutes. What I found amazing was once a patch was done, it was DONE; there was no need to go over especially frizzy/wavy parts at all. These also boast keratin, argon and coconut oil infused plates (how they do that I’ll never know), whether it was that or not, I did find my hair especially less frizzy once straightened so its definitely not doing any harm!
Extras: These automatically turn off after 60 minutes. These also come with a heat proof mat, again ideal and a very sleek place for them to be kept when not in use too.
My only complaint about these is that, as the plates are quite wide, I could not use them for curling my hair – I tried but it wasn’t a goer, the plates are simply too wide for the curls to hold. You can create waves by ‘zig zagging’ but if you use straighteners for curls these aren’t for you. I think these would be the perfect match for those with naturally curly, wavy hair and wanting pin straight locks, rather than those looking for curls or volume.
Overall these are very high quality straighteners and I would definitely recommend them to someone wanting a new pair. They are well priced (cheaper than Ghds may I add) and come with two year guarantee. Also, something I’ve yet to mention, they look super cool and sleek; I LOVE the colours.
Good straighteners
I was excited to try this product. Given the price my expectations were quite high I must admit. I found positives and negatives with using this hair straightener so I will explain everything. I have long hair naturally wavy and frizzy so I have always been using straighteners. I have experience with both budget and high end straighteners.
Positives:
– Big plates so you can straighten big chunks of hair
– Finished straightening my hair in less than 10 minutes which is a huge plus.
– Finishing look was like I had a good salon blow-dry
– No hair strands getting stuck around the plates; very smooth process
– You can control the temperature and it saves your desired temperature for future uses.
– It switches off automatically after 60mins if you forget to switch it off which is a huge safety net
– You can create some chunky waves/curls but you need a heat resistant glove which is not included
– Set the right temperature for you
– Looks stylish and beautiful
Negatives:
– I needed to go through each chunk of hair 2-4 times for it to fully go straight, so if your hair is curly it might even take much more
– There was no special glow/gloss effect due to the oils as it promises
– Not good as a fine curler because the plates are big and it’s awkward; most people nowadays use their iron straighteners for both straightening and curling so you might want to look at other options if you want to curl your hair regularly
– Hair ends look quite dry the following day
– it has 2 years guarantee which in my opinion isn’t a lot because some other high end brands that are priced similarly offer many years more
Overall it’s a good hair iron to invest in if you have thick hair and need to straighten it quickly and if that’s the main function it will have for you.
Adjustable Temperature - Excellent ceramic plates - Perfect flat results without damage
My partner is a straight hair fanatic and has gone through a lot of different straighteners over the years an would definitely class herself as an expert! The first thing she said when she saw them was that it was such a good idea to have a proper user definable temperature control as she has relatively fine hair and has found a lot of straighteners are TOO hot and damage the coating of her hair. After a few uses and trying with different conditioners she’s been able to ascertain the correct temperature to get the results she wants at the lowest setting so she isn’t stripping the hair with too much heat. The plates them self are completely friction free and allow the hair to flow easily through as it straightens. Theres a handy silicone mat also included to go in place on the surface/dressing table they are used on which is a nice touch to avoid damaging anything whilst in use. Excellent quality feel and weighting similar to GHD in terms of quality.
Excellent coverage
My wife is the recipient and I just observe and ask her opinion. The plates are marginally larger than her previous pair and that means she takes less time to do her hair (which is neck length).
Advise is not to over use to avoid damaging hair – she uses about twice a week to straighten her hair which is naturally wavy in a modest unruly way. Results are good.
Comes with a heat mat for resting on and for when cooling down after use. Default heat is 180 but it can be adjusted. Obviously, use with care and keep away from children. Do not leave on when finished but it does come with auto cutoff after 60 minutes for those forgetful occasions.
Two year guarantee for peace of mind.
The hair straighteners come in a nice box and feel heavy and quite expensive. It has a range of heat settings, the highest being 230 degrees which is the setting I use. It takes about a minute to heat up, so not the quickest time I’ve come across but still not bad for a such a high temperature. These can be used in the same wag as traditional straighteners, or with a steam option which is supposed to make your hair feel in better condition.
These left my hair feeling really soft and looking shiny. The only thing I don’t like is that some of the control buttons (such as the on/off button) is on the inside of the straighteners next to the heated plates. I’m worried I’ll burn my hand on them at some point.
It’s worth noting these also come with a heat resistant mat for resting the straighteners on, which is handy so you don’t burn furniture. I would say these are suitable for curling hair as I used to with my old straighteners due to the shape and the fact the outer parts don’t allow heat to travel through.
These are pretty decent, they even managed to straighten my curly/difficult hair so id definitely recommend them.

Larger plates halve styling time.
My wife was thrilled to receive these. She is a big fan of the brand and has the pro gloss straighteners, released last year, with smaller flattening plates.
As always they come in a great presentation box that screams high quality and they would make a great gift. The bigger plates do really work and make it much easier to quickly straighten hair. My wife has curly/wavy hair that is quite fine but there is lots of it. These straighteners quickly glide through her hair and she can have her whole hair sorted in no time at all. The oils on the plates do really help it move through the hair and help reduce any possible damage. After a year of using revamp straighteners my wife has found that the coating is still working and she is confident these will be the same.
It’s easy to adjust the temperature, with a funky LED display telling you what temp it is, and my wife finds the lowest setting works well for her hair but occasionally uses a higher setting if the weather is particularly windy/wet.
The flexible cord makes it easy to use at all angles and the long lead is good distance if your mirror isn’t right next to the plug.
The heat proof mat is an excellent added bonus and you can feel that it will actually work unlike some other heat proof mats that come with straighteners.
Overall very happy with this product and would highly recommend this. Very confident in the revamp brand, particularly with experience of using them for over a year.
Really good hair straighteners.
First of all let me start by saying at the product itself arrives in very nice packaging. Not usually something I comment upon but if you were giving this as a gift I genuinely think the recipient would be really happy. The box opens with a magnetic lid so you could continue to use this for storage when the straighteners are not being used. Inside you get the straightener itself, a set of instructions and a heat protection mat. The mat is nice, thick, a reasonable size and should last a long while from my initial testing and does the job it should do.
The straighteners are aesthetically pleasing and have a reasonable weight to them. I personally would have liked them to be a bit lighter but certainly not a deal breaker here. Heat wise, they do get nice and hot and do a very good job of straightening my daughters hair. It heats up quickly and the temperature can be adjusted via 2 small buttons located on the handle up and down. The range of temperatures you can set varies from 80 – 235 degrees. The ceramic plates on the unit are fairly wide so do a great job of straightening large sections of hair at a time. It claims the plates are infused with coconut and Argan oil as well as keratin. Now I have no way of discerning wether this is actually true but it did leave my daughters hair a lot softer and shinier than with her usual straighteners. The cable is a reasonable length at 3m but again I would have personally liked a little more length.
All in all these are great value and do a really very good job. We have now ditched our ‘not so old’ pair in favour of this one. Highly recommended. If you love your hair you will love these straighteners.
Best straighteners I've ever owned.
My first time using steam straighteners and I’m converted. They aren’t noisy like I was expecting, easy to hold and use, the heat mat they come with is really good, the velco cable tidy is a welcome extra. Overall I found these to be better than my similarly priced, salon quality straighteners.

Found the on/off & combined unlock switch in a somewhat odd location inside one of the arms. Having this on the outside would have made more sense to me – although that could be inadvertently pressed in use ( Jury is out on that part)

For real live testing I had to refer to Mrs T and the feedback on that was quite positive.
Whilst quite a wide large pair of straighteners they were very light to use and hold, suprisingly well balanced, got to temperature quickly and effective in doing what they are supposed to do.
The coated heat plates were very smooth and easy to manage your hair through them.
Full marks at present.
Excellent hair straighteners
These straighteners are very good, they heat up quickly to the set temperature and glide through my hair much better than my old ones. Very good product for the price.
Very good straigteners
I really do like these straighteners especially as they have a steam feature on them. The straighteners come with a thick, 3m long cable with a chunky plug, it is what I would expect to find on a set used in a salon.
These are easy to use as well. Fill the water reservoir, turn on, select the steam setting and also the heat setting and then wait to get to temp. The steam setting is on the base of the straighteners while the temp is situated in between them. There is also a release button for the water reservoir. While I do like where this setting is positioned, I did find the temp setting being in between the irons a little awkward to get to, it is set away from the hot plates to reduce the risk of touching them.
There are a set of basic instruction and also a heat mat to place the straighteners on when they are hot. The box that holds everything is a good strong one.
I found the process of straightening my hair to be relatively quick, much quicker than my old ones. The REVAMP plates felt gentler on my hair and also that they did indeed glide over much smoother. It was very easy to straighten and my hair still felt in good condition afterwards.
I really do like these and I am very impressed with them. They are easy to use and very effective. The only thing I didn’t like really was the positioning of the temp button, but this is just a personal thing and means I just have to put my glasses on prior to setting the temp. I do think the inclusion of a small water jug would have been handy, I did have to hunt for one of my own to make it easier to fill the water reservoir.
This is a very good set and I do like the results and I would therefore be very happy to recommend the REVAMP Steam straighteners.
Makes styling your hair effortless
These Revamp Straightners came in a beautiful presentation box. There was a heat mat and instructions in the box. The heat mat is silicone and black in colour. This mat is great to use during and after use; preventing heat damage to cupboards, carpets etc.
The straightner has an on/off button on the inside of the handle. The on/button is perfectly situated as a safety feature so it can’t be turned on/off by accident.
The outside of the handle is where the digital temperature screen is situated. Just under the screen; there are two arrows for increasing/decreasing the temperature.
The hair straightner has wide plates which makes it perfect for those with long, thick hair. The straightner isn’t heavy to hold and makes styling a breeze due to the width of the plates. The cable is 3m long which perfectly meets my needs. The temperature can be easily adjusted subject to your hair type: so if you have thicker hair, you’ll need a higher temperature as opposed, to someone whose got finer hair might not need much heat to get the job done. Best to read the instruction leaflet to ascertain the right temperature you’ll need to use for different hair types.
My hair was left feeling soft, shiny and frizz free.
Great straightener which gives lovely finish
Well presented in a lovely box. When opening box you find very attractive quite long black and blue almost ombre effect straightener. The straightener comes with an instruction leaflet an a heat resistant mat Plates said to be infused with keratin, Argan Coconut olio give extra smooth sleek finish Heats up very quickly and temperature display is clear. Temperature control is by pressing 2 buttons on straightener,There is an automatic shut off after 60 minutes and I find that this with the heat resistant mat are really necessary with teenagers. I really like it very much and my granddaughters love it. All have long hair and it does a lovely job. Not sure how effective the oils are but their hair is certainly smooth and shiny

Quite Weighty But Styling Straightene
Wondered if the presentation would surpass the actual straighteners, but they do exactly what they need to do. The heat mat provided ensures you don’t burn anything you lay them on, whilst styling your hair. They heat up quickly and my step daughter’s long hair looked really lovely and silky when she’d finished styling it. Very nice matt finish on them, and just a great pair of straighteners
Works really well with steam
This device is pretty much an iron for the hair. There is a water cartridge just like an iron but smaller that you fill water in, and when it heats up it gives out steam (you will need to set it to the highest temperature at 230C). It is easy to handle and heat up quite fast.
As soon as you turn ir on you may choose what temperature you want it to heat up, then the light will start flashing until the temperature is reached then you may start clamping. It works really well with steam. It will only need one go on each small strand of hair to straighten it. Excellent straightener!
The best hair straightener I had.
This flat iron/curler arrived packed in the nice box with magnetic closure.
It came with high quality silicone heat resistant mat with Revamp logo printed on it.
The swivel cable is soft and approx. 3m long, so it does not restrict my moves; I can use it almost everywhere in my house, which is very convinient.
It has 3 pin UK plug, but inside of plug is hidden EU version if needed (great for holidays and travelling).
It has an on/off switch, screen which shows the temperature and two buttons to set the temperature higher or lower. Very easy to use, temperature could be set between 80 and 235 C degree.
I love that it is literally ready to use in seconds. It also does remember the temperature which was set last time.
The ceramic ionic plates are very generous in size, approx 13cm x 3.5cm, so I can use it on large hair sections, thanks to it I can style my hair very fast.
Lovely design and colours choice. Comfortable to grip and very easy to use.
I used it on my fine frizzy medium length hair set at 180 C degree to make them look smooth and shiny. On this occasion I did not use any heat protection sprays as plates are somehow infused with a blend of keratin, argan and coconut oil. Since I started to bleach my hair they are dry, damaged and look very frizzy, so thanks to this iron I was able to make my hair look nice, lively and more healthy in minutes.

From Cynic to Convert - fabulous premium quality straighteners. Very fast and effective
These hair straighteners boast extra wide and extra long plates to make hair styling quicker. And they really do work! Tried against our trusty other pair, we reckon styling time is a quarter of a leading rival brand. See the photo for difference in the size of the plates.
Usually my wife has to go over her hair twice, particularly at the back where the hair is thicker, but these work through big chunks of hair in no time at all; with no need to go back over again.
There is also usually a problem with hair sometimes sticking slightly in the plates, but these literally glide through the hair from the root to the ends.
We were skeptical about the plates being infused with keratin, argan oil and coconut oil — it sounds too good to be true that you can get a shine while using something as harsh as straighteners. Her hair did look slightly more glossy than after using her current straighteners, but definitely nowhere near ‘like she’d stepped out of a salon’! There was absolutely no sign of frizziness and again that must be down to the oils infused in the ceramic heads.
The tangle-free, swivel cable is excellent and very high quality. It’s also very long, which is useful because we don’t have a mirror close to electrical sockets in all rooms of the house.
She tried to create curls at the end of her hair and these weren’t that effective — these straighteners are much larger than her existing brand and when closed don’t form a round barrel due to the design, but she did get a nice twist, so perhaps it’s just a matter of practice and technique.
There are a couple of very minor downsides — the first is that there is no indicator light on the power switch and you have to press and hold this for two seconds to turn off the appliance. It’s also the same black colour as the straighteners, so you can’t easily see it. I can imagine if you were in a real rush and reach out to turn them off, there is a danger of putting your finger on the hot plate instead of the switch by mistake. A simple LED backlight would prevent this happening.
The other thing is there is no beep to tell you these have reached to temperature. It’s not a big issue, however it’s something we are used to with our other pair so I guess we’ve come to rely on it. Having said that, they are quick to reach 180 degrees — around 27 seconds.
There is no automatic turn off if the straighteners are left without any movement, although they will turn off automatically after 60 minutes.
The company include a slip-proof, heat proof silicone mat with this product which is a nice touch.
Overall these are a winner. We are very impressed with the build quality, size of plates and ease of use. We’ve gone from being sceptics that anything could be better than what we currently have, to complete converts. If you’re looking for stress free styling, buy them.
My mom and sister both use straighteners, but they had never spent more than 30 on a set. When we came across these, we were curious to find out how much better they would be. As far as the initial presentation is concerned, these surpassed any straighteners they had previously bought. The box is very well made, and has a slip case. Inside the case, the box opens by unclipping magnets and trifold sides open to reveal the contents. Inside the box, we discovered a set of very nice looking straighteners, and the added bonus of a high quality non slip heat mat, which we had never owned before. The straighteners themselves, look superb. They are made to the highest standard, as one would expect for such a high price tag, and they have been finished with a pleasant matt coating. As for functionality, they do exactly what they should. My sister straightened her hair, and four hours later it was still as straight as when she first did it. In the past, the cheaper straighteners have been unable to do this, and within hours, her hair has been frizzy. These are also very smooth, and they make styling hair a pleasure. The temperature control display, and water tank for steam straightening are also nice added features, which really display the quality of them. So, from the packaging to the straightening capability, these straighteners are perfect. If you are looking for a new set, worth every penny, then look no further. 5*

There is nothing I dislike about these straighteners. I c some people saying about not liking controls on the inside. I don’t c what the problem is as there is a big enough gap between them at the heat plates.
For 60, you’re getting a good deal with this ReVamp Progloss Digital Ceramic Straightener.
It’s not difficult to figure out how to use, but definitely read the User Guide that’s included with the product beforehand, just so you know more about the straightener and all it can deliver – from what temperature is best to use for your hair type, to just general and informative information about the product itself that I never would’ve known had I not read the User Guide.
It’s sleek and simple in its design, and has a clear heat display on the front of the product to show you what its temperature is at, along with easy to press buttons on the inside of the straightener to not just turn it on, but to also change the heat of the ceramic plates to one you desire.
It takes up to 35 seconds to heat up to the lowest of temperatures that this product recommends you use for the finest of hairs – which is 180 degrees – and then it takes around 10 seconds to reach the next heating level of the other two temperatures this straightener recommends you use for medium types of hair – 200 degrees – and then a more coarser hair type – 235 degrees. I like that this product gives you a recommended temperature to use for specific hair types as (in the past) I have damaged my hair due to the heat of the straightener being too hot for my hair type, and it ended up burning my hair to the point that I needed to stop using straighteners and basically cut all of my hair off in order to get it healthy again.
And I must say, those recommendations included in this ReVamp User Guide are accurate.
I straightened my hair using the lowest of temperatures this product recommends (as I have quite thin hair), and I was done and dusted – hair straight and not overheated – within five minutes. But to really test this product out, I decided to straighten my mother’s hair; her thick, curly, and coarse hair. We first started with the 180 degree setting on a few of her curls just to see how it’d be, and whilst it did work, it also took a lot of stokes to get her curl reasonably straight. But when we bumped the heat up to 200 degrees, and then afterwards, 235 degrees, we could definitely see the difference as soon, it took less strokes to turn one of her thick curls into a straight and sleek strand.
But more than that, you can also manually change the heating of this straightener’s ceramic plates to whatever temperature you want, outside of the three different degrees it recommends you use.
A plus to this product is that it also has an “auto shut-off” feature, where this straightener will automatically turn itself off after it’s been on for an hour, even if (I believe) you’re using it (though I’m not wasting electricity nor risking burning my room to see if this feature is accurate; though I highly doubt they’d mention having this feature if it was a lie). So if you’re the type of person who has (in the past) left your straighteners on without realising it, then this feature will be very useful for you as if you’ve left them on, after an hour it’ll (supposedly) turn itself off!
It has a really long cord attached that is around 200cm long, and this product also comes with a non-slip heat-proof silicone mat that is very useful to have to rest your straighteners on before, during, and after use. It was packaged really well, and all in all it’s definitely the best pair of straighteners I’ve ever had; it not only straightens my hair quickly and easily, but it’s easy to curl my hair with this product too.
The ceramic plates do get dirty quite easily after use (for me), though it’s nothing a quick (after it’s cooled down) wipe can fix. Overall, it’s otherwise a flawless product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a brand new and reliable pair of straighteners.
These straighteners feel like good quality as soon as you take them out of the box. The outer coating is a matt finish that feels lovely in the hand and oozes quality.
They switch on and off with a power switch between the plates, not unusual but somehow I found it a little fiddly and was wary that fingers could get burnt here. The temperature can be set to whatever you choose which is a good idea, no necessity to have it on maximum heat which I always have with previous pairs. I set these at 180 degrees to start, and they beep once the required temperature is met, you can increase/decrease using the controls and the display screen shows your desired temperature and beeps every time it is reached.
The performance is good, they work just as well as the top brands I’ve owned previously, and these have keratin, argan and coconut oil infused plates which helps with reducing frizz. They come with a heat proof mat to rest them on and protect your dressing table, and the cable is long and rotates for easy use.
I do like them and would recommend but I’m not keen on the location of the power button.
Great quality straighteners
These straighteners are excellent. My fine hair is much more protected thanks to the lower heat setting that is available and this is the setting I use for giving my hair that professional glossy look. There is such a difference for the better in the health of my hair in comparison to when using my other straighteners that do not have a temperature control.
I have snagged my hair a couple of times between the ceramic plate & the outer area of the straightener and due to this I would award this product 4 stars.
I would recommend these straighteners as I use them weekly. The protection heat mat is useful & the straighteners are supplied beautifully boxed.
Paying for quality
My wife loves these. They are not cheap, but they just ooze quality. From the packaging they come in, you know immediately you’re going to be getting something that is good.
They feel great, and are super-simple to use. Easy to control temperature (the coloured gauge is a lovely touch, just adds to the class) using good size buttons that are placed inside the straightener. Heats up super quick, and lets you know with a beep they are ready to use.
The ceramic plates also give a very luxurious feel as they move through your hair, so you sense the addition of the various oils has helped on this front. Plus the cable is of a decent length, and with it being a swivel, there’s no chance of getting tangled up.
I can’t envisage anyone being unhappy with this product, highly recommended.
I’m fairly new to the world of hair straighteners, but having the chance to test these out, I was delighted! They have a high price tag, but right out of the box it’s easy to see why – These are professional, designer-level straighteners. They’re packaged beautifully and are super ergonomic. They’re not clunky at all, instead bosting a sleeker, more streamlined shape that feels really good in the hands.
The plug and cable are made well, feel sturdy, and have a good length which is always nice to see in mains-powered products. The heating plates surprised me – They heat up within minutes, if that, and the settings for temperature are incredibly easy to control and change.
My hair, which has never been straightened, was done in no time, and looked great! The straighteners felt really nice and easy to use. They look great, and for the price are a really high-quality product.
I could not recommend a pair of hair straighteners more. They’re high-value, but superior quality to a lot of other similar products.
First impressions of these straighteners is how well presented they are. They are in a well made sturdy box which is covered by a sleeve. Inside the box are the straighteners (obviously ) a handy heat mat which has a rubberized base and is non slip. This is very handy for protecting whatever surface your using. There is also an instruction manual which also has tips on cleaning the plates.
The straighteners themselves are a smooth matte black and very sleek looking. The straighteners are a good size and the heat plates seem very well attached. The wire is more than long enough and it is attached on a swivel so no wires in the way. These seem like they are built to last, they aren’t flimsy. On the inside on the bottom section of the straighteners is the power button, temperature control buttons (+ and -) and a button that has an M on it. With this button you select the right temperature for your hair type (as seen in pics). I think this is a great feature as the majority of people (myself included) just whack it it all the way up to the top temp for quicker results. I tried these on the medium setting and they worked just as good as my current ones which cost twice as much as these! My hair is grateful of this and it looks and feels so much better. They heat up really fast and work fantastically. The straighteners have – Keratin, Argan and Coconut for ultimate smoothness and frizz free styles. The barrels are rounded which enables you to create curls with these too, these are straighteners and curlers in 1.
The display screen is clear and easy to read and as the buttons are on the inside, there isn’t any chance of catching them whilst straightening. As previously stated selecting a preset temperature for your hair type using the buttons to select your own temperature is simple and straightforward. The straighteners also have an auto shut off feature which switches them off after an hour. This is great for hectic mornings.
Overall I thoroughly recommend these, they are great and work really well. I will be sticking with these going forward. They have done a good job with straighteners, Im really pleased.

Good value straighteners, up to the job
I got these hair straighteners for my wife and here’s what she has to say on them…
My hair frizzes – I have a chin-length bob – and goes into waves. The slightest bit of moisture in the air and it is huge and out of control so I reach for the straighteners a lot. I am conscious of the heat damage of using them too often so it’s good that these straighteners have a temperature control which is quick and easy to use – as well as displaying the temperature, there is a colour code too. And they do a good job on my hair, which isn’t very thick, but of which there is a lot. Difficult to say what they would be like on thicker, longer hair though. Good value at the current price of just under 90.
Great item
I ordered these as a travel pair of straighteners so that I’m not always taking my GHD’s around with me. First off I’d say that GHD’s are the straighteners I’ve used for many many years so only really have those to compare these ones too. Are they are GHD standard- no they are not. However they aren’t trying to be GHD nor are they the price of them. I’d say these straighteners (even though not quite GHD) are better than other straighteners out there (I’ve borrowed different ones from friends over the years and I’d definitely say these were better). Took a couple of minutes to heat up and allows you to change the temperature setting to better suit your hair- this is especially great for people who don’t require a super high setting so they can use a lower temperature and cause less heat damage to their hair. Comes with a heat mat to save any flooring or carpet from heat damage too. I’ve found it take around 3-4 strokes over each section to give a nice straight, shiny look to hair. Haven’t tried to curl with these but get a feeling they’d be good for that as have a nice rounded edge. I’d say that their quality reflects in the price which I think is good for a high quality pair of straighteners. Do love the safety feature of automatic turn off- that is definitely an added bonus. Would be happy to recommend.
Good value for money.. NO more frizzy hai
This is my first ever hair straightener and i was amazed at how good it was. it runs smoothly in hair and works like magic.easy to use great results and so gentle on hair. Love the design although it hit up and cool down pretty quickly. It works really well on my freezy hair and helps me to get a better look.
The adjusting level of temperature is very easy to operate.
Excellent product, No snagging, good length cord which helps to use it from little distance as well.

Tested by my very choosy late teen daughter who has in the past had several different brands to test including some rather expensive ones, this straightener immediately impressed her with its excellent presentation. If you received this as a gift, you would realise that it was a premium product. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the large non slip heat mat was also much appreciated.
Performance was very impressive with a short heat up period and excellent results were achieved very quickly and with the minimum of fuss. The straightener is also comfortable to hold and temperature setting using the colour coding and digital display was both easy and gave comfort that the appropriate setting was being used.
Suffice to say, one very fussy daughter has bagged these and declared them the best straighteners she has used to date. Cannot praise higher than that….highly recommended.

Excellent quality
I’ve never been very successful with hair straighteners. Always been in too much of a hurry. I am very impressed with these heated up in seconds. 3 heat settings for fine, medium and thick hair . Each one has its own automatic setting. These can be adjusted manually for settings in between. Very long flex which is a bonus. It comes with a mat for the placement of the straighteners. I have fine short hair but was easily able to give my hair the extra boost that it needs. The unit comes beautifully packaged which reflects the quality of this item. I am extremely pleased with this item. I should have mentioned I’m always forgetting to turn things off. These come with automatic turn off after 60 mins.

I definitely like this straightener. it has three different levels. heat up and straighten up very quickly. does not make me feel very dry after using it. it also provided a heat proof Matt.
Best straightener my mum has ever used.
I gave this to my mum to review and this is her review of the Revamp Progloss Digital Ceramic Straightener. ‘This is honestly the very best straightener I have ever used. I do not need to straighten all of my hair, just the fringe and top bit which is apt to be unruly and frizzy with too much curl. It performed brilliantly! The thing I really liked is that it works really well if you use it as a curler which I have never found with any of the straighteners I have used in the past. You end up with a soft natural looking curl due to the shape of the straighteners and I was thrilled with the results. The quality of Revamp products rivals even the very well known high end products on the market and the design is excellent with a nice long lead. I have loved every single one of these Revamp products I have tested and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anybody looking for quality hair care products.
Up until now I have been a GHD straightener only fan. I have thick, curly hair and so straightening my hair is a challenge. I am super impressed by this Revamp product. I have used it now a dozen times and it works effectively and my hair is in the same condition it was when I started using it.
The straightener has three temperatures to choose from and even with my hair I have gone for the middle temperature and it completes the job with a perfect end effect. I always use a heat protection product before straightening whether on newly washed or renewing the effect. It heats quickly and comes with a heat deflecting mat. It also cuts off automatically if accidentally left on. I am sold on this and realise that newer technologies have opened up a wider market for these products.

I own a pair of straighteners that I have had for around 12 years now. They have always been my faithful hair straightening companion. I wasn’t expecting much from these Revamp Progloss ones but thought I would give them a go.
Straight out of the box I was impressed! They are stylish and lightweight and suitable for straightening and curling. The box looks nice so they would also make a great gift.
They heat up quickly and work very fast! My hair is very curly and they made swift work of straightening my hair.
I love the adjustable temperature setting and the automatic shut off gives great peace of mind.
I would highly recommend these ceramic straighteners!

Revamp Progloss Digital Straightener a great product from a new company to me. This is a great it looks very nice when it comes out of the box, looks very professional and the LED display looks very nice. I only used them to straighten my hair, not curling my hair so I cant say how good they curl, but they have straightened well, the colour settlings took a little to get used to but once I read the instructions I knew what I was looking at. They heat up super quick and are easy to use, If I were to get these as a gift, I would be super happy. I would usually just head straight for GHD previously, but not I would buy these again as I will definitely be looking for this brand again.
Great product high quality and professional
These were a pleasure to use. They arrive in a beautifully presented box which I would be happy to present as a gift. Inside there is an instruction manual which is simple to read and offers good advice. Also included is a large and very handy heat protection mat. It is grippy and rubberised.
The straighteners themselves feel luxurious. The surface is a lovely soft touch. The buttons are in between the tongs, out of the way. The digital display is clear and changes colour to indicate the heat setting.
The straighteners get up to temperature ultra quick and give a beep once they are.
The plates are smooth and work really well. Giving an instant straighter effect without dulling of the hair.
Another handy feature of these straighteners is the lead. It is rather long and the connection of the lead to straighteners pivots 360 round which means they lay flat and you don’t have to balance them. Also, this helps when using them or when another person does the straightening for you. It makes the ease of use so much simpler.
These are a really well thought out design and pure quality through and through.
My wife was really impressed with the results on her hair.
Great straightners
Because I’ve always used GHD’s that’s what I compared these to and I think that’s fair as they are one of the top straighteners (if not the top). They straighten and curl brilliantly, the plates are really smooth on your hair. It’s great being able to set the temperature and see on the display what the temperature is currently at. The casing feels great in your hand, they are the same shape as GHD’s but the material feels different – a bit grippier, and I really like it. They do take longer to heat up than some straighteners, around a minute to get to 180 C but I don’t think that’s a long time to wait, you’d just set them warming up while you section your hair or something. The power cord is nice and long. Price wise they are a bit cheaper than some of the top end straighteners on the market and I think they are a great buy!

Very comfortable in the hand, smooth, you can choose one of 3 programs suitable for your type of hair, you can adjust the temperature, none heat pad included (super useful).
Straightener works smoothly, doesn’t pull my hair, leaves hair shiny and most important thing – my hair stayed straight all day even though the weather wasn’t great (usually my hair tempt to get wavy especially in rainy days)
Edges of the digital straightener are designed in a way to protect you from getting burnt (many times I burnt my ear or neck or even fingers). This straightener cools down so fast, heat up- ready to go in a seconds.

Rewamp straighteners are fantastic, it has a power button, temperature high & low buttons, and a heat mat, the digital screen is able to show you 3 main worded settings fine, medium and coarse for each temperature up want, while it tells you what settings you have it on it also goes 3 different colours for each setting yellow, orange & red, this is a fantastic idea it’s colour coded, written & able to see the temperature digitally also, the plug can become a 2 prong plug instead of a 3, these straighteners are made to a very high standard, I highly recommended these for hai

Got this for my teenage daughter as a Christmas gift, so she stops using mine. She only used straighteners for curling her hair and this looks great. Wow, they've thought of it all
This is a very good set of straighteners, they have thought of everything here. You get a sturdy box containing the straighteners and rubber mat. Firstly the straighteners are of a good size and feel comfortable in my hand to use, they have a digital display and you can select which mode of temperature you want, so you decide how hot they get. They heat up very quickly indeed so no hanging around waiting and they glide through your hair effortlessly. I have thick and long hair and it does usually take an age to straighten it after washing, however, I can say these straighteners seemed to work their way through it quicker and easier than I have been used to in the past. My previous straightener were a few years old and had really done their time, but I was amazed at how much better these up to date new ones are …….things have really come a long way. I am impressed with the rubber mat too as it gives a protective surface to place them without worrying about them burning whatever they are resting on. Very pleased and happy to recommend!
Best straighteners I’ve ever used!
These REVAMO PROGLOSS digital straighteners are just excellent.
Everything from how they feel in your hands, the speed of heating, the ease of use and setting of temperatures, the option to straighten or curl but especially the length of the cord – a full 3m bliss! My hair was left feeling soft with a nice shine.
The straighteners are beautifully presented in a lovely presentation box which would make them a lovely gift.
I’m very impressed with these straighteners and feel very comfortable to recommend.
These arrived in a Revamp branded sleeved box with a side lift opening containing the hair straighteners on the top fitted in moulded plastic and secured with a rubber tie, underneath this the manual and a rubber heat resistant protection mat.
First impressions these have a nice smooth black matt coating which looks and feels very nice, the design has the temperature display LED in the top with the power and temperature adjustment buttons under rubber set back from the ceramic straightener plates in the centre avoiding any accidental adjustment while in use but still safe and easy to use.
After fully unpacking them I had a good read through the manual and asked my wife to start using them and give her opinion, my wife uses the ghd original IV styler but they are quite old and worn now, although she has been happy with them they are not without issues. She was really impressed with how quickly they heat up and are ready to use along with the colour changing LED display indicating the temperature heat range, she found the 360 swivel cable worked great avoiding having to keep moving and adjusting the cable.
My wife has coarse hair so used them at the higher temperature range and she loves them, finding them smooth and easy to use and really liked how quickly after turning them on they are ready to go along with the swivel cable design which avoided the irritating cable tangling, she did say they are far better than her ghd original IV styler even when they were new but I would say these are quite old and it’s not a comparison to any newer versions they may have.
Overall the Revamp progloss digital ceramic straightener are of very high quality performing really well, with good attention to detail along with functions and as my wife loves them, I can’t find any faults with them I have given them top marks.
Small but mighty!
I am so impressed with the Revamp straighteners after just a few uses. The initial heat up time is really quick and I love the colour coded preset temperatures that are straightforward, but even so the manual is really simple to find out the temperatures. I have shoulder length, quite thick hair. I started with the yellow setting, as recommended, but found the orange setting straightened my hair much quicker and left it straighter and glossier. Not being used to the one stroke technology I went over my hair way too many times at first. Now, the time needed to straighten my hair is drastically reduced.
The straighteners themselves are lovely and lightweight and the slimline shape of the whole unit means they are nicely balanced in my hand.
I’ve not needed it so far but I like the automatic switch off, it is great for peace of mind. I also really like the heat resistant mat that comes with the set. I do leave my straighteners hanging over the side on my chest of drawers, but I can now rest them on top safely and not have to worry about starting a fire.
Fantastic, can’t recommend them enough.
