Beautiful box set. So beautiful and in mint condition I’m afraid to open so cannot comment on seeing the contents yet, but I bought it for what it says in the product description. Will update once I have updated and played it all. Top marks to seller Chalkys for excellent service and packing.

Probably The Beatles best Album. But all of them are good. Brilliant Remaster and in my opinion the best Remaster of the recent Beatles Lps!

    You already know the music
And now it’s crystal clear. Plus the added bonus of another CD! What’s not to like!

    Absolutely brilliant! Incredibly good.
The album from the year before the now legendary Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is brilliant, not only in the songs; which are incredible, but the music behind them; totally ahead of their time, but also way they were produced.
Having the extra discs gives a real insight into how laid back and innovative The Beatles were in the studio. Again and again coming up with individuality that no one could have or even in this day can match.

The extra disks of studio outtakes and works-in-progress are wonderful, but the real revelation is the newly re-mastered stereo recordings. Giles Martin has used the same technology that re-mastered the sound for the ‘Get Back’ video release and managed to separate the instruments and vocals properly, meaning you no longer have the original ‘instruments on the left/vocals on the right’ mix. The result is a revelation! You now hear details that you never noticed before, such as the yawning on ‘I’m Only Sleeping’. The rest of the recordings are beautifully clean and crisp – almost like listening to a whole new album! Even if you’re not a Beatles ‘fan’ in the die-hard sense, this is something really worth having. It’s made me re-evaluate the importance of Revolver to the extent I’ve now changed my mind about Sgt Pepper and value this record as my favourite Beatles album. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Deluxe package but check the discs!
Really high quality box set – 5CDs all great. Saying that I got two stereo albums and no mono!! So check your discs carefully. I’m not going to knock a star off for that though as nothing to do with Amazon.
The sessions discs are fascinating and the stereo remaster very impressive indeed.
Certainly reveals what a great album this is.

    Revolver (remix) CD double
It is The Beatles so forced to buy. I purchased the single album and this double CD. Which is best? Can’t decide. My only moan is Paperback writer / Rain are on the second CD. Wish it was on the Album disc. Not a real problem though. It does sound great but I prefer the 2009 remaster. The second disc is a ‘play out of interest’ job as far as I am concerned. Played it once and shelved it.

My Christmas present to myself. Arrived Christmas Eve. Couldn’t be more perfect. A fantastic box set of my favourite Beatles album. One of the best presents ever. I recommend this to any Beatles fan. Still sounds as fresh as when it first came out.

A Beatles fan all my life. This newly transferred digital upgrade is as good as it gets. The songs have details I’ve never heard before in such clarity.
All the discs and book about the album are essential for die hard fans.
    Highly recommended.

Good box set, but not grea
Revolver box set, CD1 remastered version is great, sound is very clear, one can hear vocals and instruments much cleaner than before. CD4 original mono version is fine we’ve all been accustomed to that CD 3 & 4 outtakes are o.k. good listen to see how the songs evolved. CD5 is a waste the remastered versions of Rain and Paperback Writer could have been put on as bonus tracks to CD1 same with mono versions could have been bonus tracks to CD4. Book is excellent being informative on how sessions and songs came to their eventual final release. Overall a good addition to the box sets most have already

The stereo mixes are great. It really adds punch and excitement to the sound of this already amazing album. Giles Martin has done a great job, and I can’t stop listening to Paperback Writer as it now really kicks *ss.

I purchased the vinyl box set and I’m very happy with it, obviously we all grew up (those of us of a certain age) with this Lp and set of songs but the new stereo mix is a great addition.
Overall a great Lp that should be an addition to every household.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersIt's obviously aimed at real Beatles fans and it just happens to be the greatest album eve
What can I say it’s Revolver. My all time favourite album. I like some of the remastered tracks, but on one of my all time favourite songs She Said She Said they’ve took the cymbals out for some unknown reason. When you listen to She Said you expect the cymbals to hit right in but they are gone. Are they remastering some tracks just because they think they have to.
Apart from that I absolutely love it.
The bonus disc is really great. It has Paperback Writer and Rain on a Revolver release.
Next up Rubber Soul with Day Tripper and We Can Work It Out on the bonus disc.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAwesome box set for music lovers
This is an outstanding release both for Beatles and non Beatles fans alike. The new stereo mix by Giles Martin has brought out every single sound, and modern generations can finally appreciate these songs with modern ears, more than 50 years later. The mono LP is a real treat for audiophiles, as it has been printed in completely analogue form. And the session discs are stunning documents: just like being in the studio at Abbey Road with the lads… Super product and super packaging: it arrived early and in perfect conditions; I was a bit worried as vinyls had to travel from the UK to be delivered to Italy, but everything went smooth. It’s a must have!

Purchased the Euro version of The Beatles Revolver super deluxe cd set. Excellent shipping to the US with no issues. The set is excellent however I prefer the 60’s George Martin mix better. Do appreciate all the extras to read & listen to.

Enjoyed this remix the most to date, in my opinion better than Pepper which seemed a bit ‘in your face’ – for my liking anyway. The new Peter Jackson technology will hopefully be used for a Rubber Soul remix next. Although to add to the fun, that will no doubt be a remix of a remix?

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersA Wonderful Remix of this Classic Beatles Album
Well what can I say? I bought the album when it first came out so that tells you how old I am! I bought the first CD version of it many years later and then bought the Remastered edition later on. I now have the two CD Edition with alternative takes etc. I have only just finished playing the Revolver album Disc 1 and just had to report: This has to be the Ultimate Edition of this album. Giles Martin and Sam Okell have excelled themselves here… with the new AI Software you have a warmth and clarity of sound never heard before. The soundstage is a joy to listen to with voices and instruments spread much more sympathetically. Every track is a marvel…. I could go on but others will have much more interesting reviews than me. Just buy it and enjoy it. I just hope Rubber Soul is next. I can’t wait. 10/10

Lovely packaging and superb 100- page hardcover book.

The 2022 remix is such an advance on the 2009 remaster. Even my least-favourite track ‘Yellow Submarine” sounds great. Without doubt the most improved remix over and above Abbey, Sgt, White & Let It Be.

The mono CD is fine. The outtakes, sessions and home demos are hugely interesting and will bear repeated listening.

    Fab box!

The new stereo mix sounds wonderful and brings the album to life .I also prefered the mono mix of this album , i wont say the new mix is better but it`s just as good. The extra`s are interesting and a must have for any Beatle fab. On the down side is the price , the two box sets on vinyl and cd are way too much money for the extra`s on offer.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersRevolver: A refreshing surprise of a mid sixties classic.
I had forgot how good this LP was and now for me the 2022 stereo remix makes it even better.

The soundstage is opened up, but it avoids the pitfalls of leaving gaps that a bus could drive through. To me it sounds tight, but clean. Listening to this and the session CDs shows how good the original master tapes were recorded.

Giles Martin has very sympathetic ears to what his father George Martin originally achieved, production wise, and with the benefit of modern technology that separated the various instruments has enhanced that work.

The five CDs, in the deluxe version, each add something extra to the total package. Even the mono mix CD, which was available in The Beatles In Mono box set is a welcomed addition, as many people, of my age (70) would have first heard it in this format, so sounds excellent and the mono mix doesn’t sound belittle the LP one little bit.

As I’ve only had the box set 24hrs I have yet to read the accompanying book, but it’s looks as though it contains a wealth of information and facts.

The deluxe box is the same size as a normal LP, but thicker, so will sit well with your LPs or Sgt Pepper Deluxe Boxed Set on the shelf.

The only downside is the lack of a 5.1 mix on a Blu-ray Disc. An Atmos version is available on the likes of Apple Music, Tidal, etc. but a hard copy would have been the cherry on the cake.

Since receiving the box set it has been played constantly and I’m now torn as to the question is this LP better than and aged better than Sgt Pepper?

With this new technology, created for the Get Back film will we see the earlier Beatle albums being remixed and the horrible wide panning of vocals/instruments to the left and right channels remixed into a beautiful well balanced soundstage.

I can’t recommend this collection or the less lavish versions more highly, a truly classic LP and the foundation for what was to come. Five+ stars.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersBest stereo Revolver mix
First of all I have been waiting for this vinyl box set with some trepidation since I heard it was to be pressed by GZ, my past experiences with their pressings have been poor to say the least (see my Lennon plastic ono band reissue review) however my Revolver box set is pressed fine.
That over with onto the content I have listened to the stereo version of Revolver since the early 1970,s and have always been frustrated by the early 60,s stereo mix I guess that stereo mixing for “pop” records at that time was in its infancy and the mix has always felt like they threw the kitchen sink at the recording, vocals panned hard to one channel instruments to the other, I later discovered that at the time the mono mix was the primary aim, as at the time few people had access to stereo record players, much later I listened to a mono Revolver and much preferred it. This stereo remaster changes that, at last revolver sounds like a rock recording in stereo rather than an early studio experiment in stereo sound. For those who have not ever heard the mono version then of course this box set also includes a copy and I think I still prefer it, for those who only ever listened to the original stereo Revolver it should be an education to hear revolver sound as the Beatles intended it at the time. The outtakes are interesting but not essential except to beatles compleatists though John’s original demo for what became yellow submarine is of interest, the accompanying book is nice and overall the box set is worth having especially if you have not got a mono Revolver, so after all that why only 4 stars? Because the entry price is too high and so not the best value for money

Ok its one of my fave 35 mins LPs as bought it 1966, then a repress, then the 1st CD then the remastered CD, then another remastered LP in 2018. So here we are again, the remix is very subtle (for me anyway) then you get a CD of out takes which i may already have on bootlegs. So my point is this should really be sold for around 9.99 not 19.99, but hey i am still a fan eh, and Yoko will be very happy (again). The booklet is very nice though, but the CD2 of out takes misses a big opportunity, why not place the songs in the same order as the original

Make no mistake this is at least as good as the other Beatles 50th Anniversary editions that Giles Martin has worked his magic on.

You only have to do an A and B compare with the last version to hear how much love has gone it to this remaster and the additional tracks and takes sound great and very interesting, Eleanor Rigby (Take 2) no vocals but amazing!

Just buy it you will not be disappointed!
