Already in the one+ ecosystem so it made sense to me. Seems to be holding up and is great for laminate floors and low pile carpets but it does burn through batteries pretty quickly! I get around 20mins from a 4ah battery.

Bought for my two log cabins and workshop which have no power. This hoover is superb and keeps the cabin floors clean. I found it’s better when powered with the 5ah battery as that lasts longer. Another bonus is it can also be used as a blower 🙂

    Great vac
Need to have plenty of Ryobi batteries to do jobs if you need for more than 20 mins at a time. But they tell you that. Love not having a cable. Is not as powerful as my old plug in but you can’t expect to

Twenty minutes run time on a 4ah battery. Lightweight but sturdy, great where you have no electricity supply. I would recommend this.

Bought this as it’s wet and dry and cordless too. I have a variety of other Ryobi One+ tools so knew I didn’t need any batteries for it.

The first thing I tried it on was my car as I have 3 Pugs which do shed a lot of fur in the car. This picked it up easily and quickly. And I have to say for that purpose alone it’s better than my Dyson and my Vax.

The only minor gripe for me is the cost of the bags. But it’s not a deal breaker.

Overall 5 out of 5 Stars.

Used in wet mode for its first use, simply brilliant, worked a treat and battery lasted longer than ryobi said it would, bonus.
A must in everyone’s garage, workshop, garden, house, car you name it and no wires.a great piece of kit, and a must have addition to my ryobi one+ collection.love these cordless tools

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersRyobi R18WDV-0 is very light, fairly compact and easy to move around. power is adequate and the motor so far much quieter than I expected. It works better than I had hoped on a wood floor, sucking up all of the dust and debris – make sure you pick up stuff you don’t want going in to the machine!

Well built and functional. Very little if any dust gets through the HEPA filter (something my old vax could have done with).

Only minor quibbles are that it doesn’t have a revolving dust brush on the head, and the dust bag is ‘single use’. The latter is fairly common on modern machines but wasteful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is perfect for cleaning out our hot tubs. We can hoover grit from the bottom or clean out the last of the water after it’s pumped out.
I like the fact it’s battery-powered and safer than a wired hoover. Does a great job and the battery last too

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis vacuum is so light, robust and versatile. Easy to change bags, good suction power, not too noisy and doesn’t clog much.
I have used mine for the car, for hard floors, taking loose debris from masonry for cementing, vaccuming between patio slabs on a dry day, cobwebs, dislodging dry moss, dusting the shed and attached to my sander.
Used with a 5Ah battery it’s a gem, with a 9Ah battery you can achieve tasks as if you were mains-powered.
The unit is cheap, the replacement bags are cheap.

Pretty quiet, powerful, lasts plenty long enough with a 5Ah battery and comes with all the attachments you need. Use it for almost every mess now.

I bought it for the household. Easy to pick up and bring it where it’s needed. No cable hassle. Not the best suction but do to it’s sucking head works very well. Two batteries is a must though.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this wet dry vac to clean my astro turf that my ducks live on (yes you did read that correctly)

So this wet dry vac spends its time hoovering up feathers, duck food and of course the biggest problem, duck poo.

And it does it all pretty well.

It isn’t the most powerful, but then again it’s battery powered and ultra lightweight.

I run it off a 1.5 amh ryobi battery so it is probably underperforming as it recommended more.

But it does exactly what I need it too and it’s super easy to take apart and clean.

    Really good bit of ki

Versatile, with a 6 amph battery works great for the garage floor and the car, will have to buy some more bags for it, not tried it vacuuming water up yet but I’m sure it will be good.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe have Dyson V10 cordless vacuum that we use around the house but for sucking up debris and plaster it’s a no go as it blocks up the filters and is not advised so we use a corded wet and dry vac. This wet and dry vac from Ryobi is great and being cordless is much easier to use. It also has a much more compact design and so is easier to store. It works with the Ryobi One+ range of batteries so if you already have some Ryobi tools, you’ll most likely be ready to go.

Suction power is great and it will easily handle debris including sawdust and plaster dust without any issues. It’s also great for cleaning the car as you can wheel it out when you need it and don’t need to worry about a power cable or extension lead. There is one downside though. To vacuum liquids you have to change to the foam filter, this is a bit of an annoyance as it takes time to do this. An all in one filter like those used by Karcher would have made this the perfect wet and dry vac. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, it’s still a great vacuum.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great suction for a cordless vacuum with a compact design. Filter change required for wet vacuuming.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI mistakenly ordered this thinking it was a carpet cleaner but it is a wet and dry vacuum and i am very glad to own it!.
It sucks up most anything!, works great as a dust collector when my son is using our circular saw, fits perfectly on the end of the saw. We will mostly use it for d.i.y and garden duties. (and although it’s not the sarpet washer i was expecting, its excellent at sucking up excess liquid, so ijust did the carpet by hand and then went over it with this machine to get the excess out, it dried in a matter of a few hours, and would usually take the majority of the day in poor weather. It’s a definite bonus.
It blows as well as sucks so this was handy blowing debris and leaves from our alleyway.
I have to say i appreciate the way the makers have thought about storage, there is mostly a place for everything and the pipe is telexcopic so literally half the size it is when in use. It is really great manaufacturers take into account storage on items like this.
The battery sits safely inside a lift-up compartment on the top of the machine and lasts at least 20-25 minutes.
I am super impressed with the fact the batteries can be shared between multiple Ryobi tools also.
This item arrived well packaged and on time.
    I would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good little machine

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPriced at 189.90 (20th December 2020)

    Here’s my breakdown:
Large water tank, never ran out of water using it
    Good suction power
    Cleans tiled floors really well
Being cordless means it’s super portable
Works well as just a vacuum

Does not come with a charger
Does not come with a battery

    In summary
This unit is not too expensive, but when you add in the cost of a battery, and the cost of a charger it soon racks up, I think it is worth looking at corded options unless you really need the portability.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a nicely compact wet/dry vacuum. It has a decent length hose and the wand is telescopic. Cordless is super as you don’t have to think about where a socket is. Moves easily on the wheels. I am a fan of the Ryobi range of products because you can use the same battery across the range. They also, of course, seem well made. Don’t try using this with one of the smaller Ah batteries as you won’t get enough power and will be very disappointed in the product – You really need minimum 4.0 or better still 6.0Ah to get full versatility from the machine. Currently OH is using this in his workshop and says it works well for sawdust and dirt on the floor, but equally good for spillages. It will work well in the house too. And being cordless it’s fabulous for cleaning out the car. Utensils are stored on the vacuum. Battery life is probably only about 20-25 minutes on a 5/6Ah battery, but that’s probably adequate for most jobs. Doesn’t take up too much room for storing. It’s not cheap, and as a bare tool you will need to buy a battery and charger (varying prices) if you don’t already have some products from the range. But, it is a nice and well made product.
